May was sitting in a dive bar in Suicide Slums, just drinking and trying to forget. Of course it never really seemed to work. She figured it was her healing coupled with the traumas she'd endured. Between having to hunt down people she once looked up to and locking her mother away in an asylum it has caused her to have quite a few demons. So whenever she was off she was usually found in some dive bar, drinking and occasionally fighting. Well, actually more than occasionally, but it did help her feel better, and that was what mattered. She sat at the bar, sipping on her beer, a collection of empty bottles in front of her and she wasn't done adding to it. She was just thinking and trying to forget everything as she ashed her cigar into the ash tray. She rarely smoked, mostly during her poker games and when she was stressed, like now.
She glanced over at a guy who sat a couple stools down from her and nodded her head before downing her beer and signaling for another. She took another puff of the cigar only to feel her spidey sense go off. She leaned to one side and saw a bottle come flying past her head and smashing into the wall behind the bar. May set her cigar down and turned around, standing up. She was wearing a pair of tight black jeans and a white T-shirt that showed off her midriff. The outfit was finished with her mom's old leather jacket and combat boots. She caught sight of the person who threw the bottle and shook her head. It was some skank who came and stood by the man she'd nodded to.
'He's mine tramp.'
"Sweetheart you can have him. Believe me, if I wanted him he'd be in the bathroom with his pants around his ankles."
'So he's not good enough for you?'
"I've done worse but I'm not interested. So go drink your little girly drink and be annoying elsewhere."
'You'll pay for that whore.'
She pulled back to slap her and May felt her Spidey Sense but opted not to move. The woman's hand connected with May''s cheek and she let out a smirk. The woman staggered back, holding her likely broken hand. Of course hitting an adamantium cheek bone couldn't feel good. May delivered a quick shot to the woman's jaw and she dropped, but was caught by her boyfriend.
"You can do better."
She said to him before taking a swig from her new beer and sitting back down. With the fight over people went back to whatever they were doing.

Rayne didn't quite remember why she was here. She had a reason for being here and it was probably a very good reason too! But a reason that one cannot remember too well isn't of much use. She tried retracing her steps for the past few, uh... were they even days anymore? She never knew. She was so often lost in time that, whenever she returned to what she considered her 'present', she was so confused.
She remembered popping back up at the SHIELD Helicarrier to grab her journal maybe an hour or so ago. Was it an hour? Had it been more? She wasn't even sure. She just remember stopping there to grab her journal before teleporting herself to the suicide slums. Before that, however, she had been off in one of the alternate realities talking to the male version of herself. She usually stayed away from her alternative selves but, well, she couldn't resist.
"Oh whatever. It'll come to.me eventually," she said to herself as she flipped through pages in the time journal. Reading and walking probably wasn't a smart idea. But since when did she do.anything smart? Her feet lead her to a bar she had come to quite a few times in the past. Or future, but that was all relative.
The second the doors opened, the sounds of a fight touched her ears and she looked up from her journal with delight. It wasn't a long fight, but she recognized one of the participants. With what she thought of was grace, she tried to sneak up behind May to put her hands over her eyes. She had to actually focus to try and change the sound of her voice, make it sound deeper. "Guess whooo~"

She sat there drinking, her mind just wandering away. She knew soon enough Lydia would call for her. Lydia worried about her and that was adorable. But maybe she needed more people who worried about her. Sure she had her few friends but they were usually running headlong into trouble with her if not she was leading them. As the ruckus died down and things seemed to relax suddenly she felt hands on her eyes. With a sigh she took a swig of her beer before replacing the cigar in her mouth.
"Hello Rayne. I could smell you as soon as you walked in."
She said with a light laugh. She was glad Rayne was back in town, or whatever she called it. She seemed to be one of the few who better understood her. Sure Lydia was trying but so far no such luck. Of Course May wasn't exactly making it easy. She had a tendency to hold people at arm's length at first until she got to know them better. She had demons she didn't want to simply unleash on everyone and anyone.
"You have an odd snell about you. Something like burning and something just....ancient. So where have you been? Do I need to relearn a whole bunch more battles and what not now?"
She asked with a laugh. Of course she knew, or at least had been told, that it wouldn't work like that. Since apparently she would've already had learned it in school, things would've just changed. It did make her wonder though how many historical things had changed in the years that she had no idea. Of course she also didn't want to learn as it would only make things worse.

Rayne pulled a face when she heard that. May could smell her right when she walked in? She understood that she had that whole super animal senses and all but come on! She couldn't smell that bad, right? Way to make a girl feel self conscious May! She had to resist the urge to pull her arm up and sniff herself, almost worried that she might actually smell bad in any way. But quickly realized that simply wasn't possible. Rayne would smell of absolute fabulousness and she knew it!
She leaned up on her tip toes and over a little to kiss May's forehead, mainly because the other girl was so short but partially because she honestly thought it appropriate. What was personal space, after all. Finally pulling her hands away from May's eyes, she stole the stool beside her. "Hey now, i can't smell that bad. I make sure to bathe daily! Er, well... as daily as i can. I mean, it can be kinda hard in some of those places but not all of them. Rivers can be pretty unforgiving... and painful. I'm pretty sure i still have scars on my feet from those sharp things. Do feet scar? Not important. I do gotta say, the attention is pretty great sometimes though. This one time, i was out in greece. Man, i don't even know what year it had been, and some guy thought i was Artemis bathing in a waterfall. I had the most amazing time messing with his head. Not sure the real Artemis would have appreciated it though... Hey barkeep, get me a pint of whatever is good on tap!" She switched her focus there right at the end as she looked to the bartender, making sure he heard her order.
She ran a hand through her black hair, ruffling it up a bit, just making sure it wasn't a total mess. The ends were a bit frayed, but that was probably because she was due for a haircut. She glanced down at her clothes as she listened to May, chuckling at her words. "Oh come on, just because i smell like fire doesn't mean it's allllways me," she teased. Yeah her clothes looked fine. Albeit a bit wrinkled.
"Actually, i met the coolest version of myself i have ever seen. And yeah, i know, no such thing. I'm already the most amazing thing out there. Don't have to remind me. But seriously, there was this version of me. Who was male. And it was totally me, i could feeeeel it. We messed around a bit in the past of his universe and bonded. I think he is gonna be one of my new friends..." she paused a moment as a glass was set in front of her so she could pick it up and take a swig. "Ahhh... anyway. The fact that we might have burned down some non-important village is compleeeetely beside the point though. That could have happened to absolutely anybody!"
Rayne's eyes took a moment to look around the bar, quickly finding and rating the girl that had been knocked out by the Spider Babe. And yes, while she rarely said it to her face, Rayne was definitely one of the people on the squad to refer to her as such. "Say May, we wouldn't happen to have anything going on in the area here, would we? Just still trying to figure out the need to be in this place." It was such a weird thing, almost akin to the draw she felt to her other selves when shr went to different universes but not quite the same. "Ah it's probably nothing. So what'd that little ditty deserve to get a get a good smackaroo?"

May laughed lightly and went back to her beer. It felt good to have Rayne back. Of course to May almost no time at all had passed since they'd last spoken. From what May could remember likely a couple days or so. Of course to Rayne it probably seemed like a lot longer. How she and her brother kept from going completely insane from confusion May would never understand. Then again from what she'd seen they weren't exactly completely sane either. They had a tendency to lie somewhere in the middle. But it definitely made things interesting, that was certain.
"I never said you smelled bad. Like I said, burning and ancient-ness. Your brother smells rather similar. It's just a very noticeable scent. I can't be the only one who's noticed it."
She would've continued explaining it but then Rayne went off on one of her rambling stories. She liked it when Rayne did her rambling. It gave her a chance to regroup and relax. So she sipped her beer and listened to Rayne's story. She'd like to go with her on one of her adventures, but also wouldn't mind it. It always sounds like it'd be fun. Once she was done with her story May finished her beer and signaled for another one before going back to puffing her cigar.
"So in your free time you pretend to be a goddess, burn down villages and party with yourself? Yeah I could see the appeal. Be worshipped, not to mention most likely you understand your other self pretty well."
As Rayne asked about the woman who was just now regaining consciousness May laughed slightly. She grabbed her new beer and nodded to the bartender with a smile.
"Oh her, she thought I was hitting on her boyfriend and threw a bottle at my head. Then she slapped me so I knocked her out. For someone pretending to be so tough you'd think she could take a hit better."

Well, that was a bit of relief. She didn't actually smell bad. At least that's what May was telling her. Then again, May could very well be lying. Although why would she lie? It made no sense. Rayne shouldn't think such things of her friend. "What does ancientness smell like anyway? I mean... how does one smell ancientness? Have ya been somewhere ancient and i smell like that? Oh! Would ya like to go somewhere ancient so you can actually knoooow what ancientness smells like? You can describe it to me then! And i can dress you up so you can look right for the time period. With your looks, i bet they would think you were a goddess! Though those tats might need some covering. And I'm doing it again, aren't i? Let me stop talking now..." she ended up laughing at the end when she noticed she seemed to be drowning on and on again. It was just so easy to do.
Rayne decided to focus on her drink for a moment, just taking sip by sip as she decided to just try and listen to May for a second. That blue haired beauty. She kinda wished she looked more like her sometimes. Like a freaking super model. It would make life a lot easier. Not that she wasn't hot herself but she definitely wasn't May levels of hot. Not that Rayne should really complain.
"I mean, i guess i do understand myself better than anyone else but i usually don't like spending time with myself. There's already one of me, i like it staying that way. Though there are a couple of exceptions. Like Ryan. That's the male me's name apparently. Not sure who the hell he was named after but it's an easy name to remember, right? Of course I'm right. But yeah, it's a pretty kickin' way to spend my time. Although there is nothing better than spending quality time with my bestest buddy!" She finished her drink and flagged down the bartender for another.
Rayne licked her lips as she looked at her empty glass. That tender chose great for her! Though the thoughts of the beer were quickly disbanded as she simply watched the cigar smoke circle around May. She hadn't had a cigar in a while. She remembered trying them a couple of times, like when she was out voyaging with pirates. Ah, those were the days. She really ought to visit them again. She had been one hell of a quartermaster.
"Well damn," she laughed. "Seems like she was asking for it. Who goes picking a fight with someone if that can't take a punch. I mean, hell, even i can take a punch from you! Ah well. For all the trouble she was worth, you might as well have hit on her little boy toy. I'm guessing he's the one helping her? Kinda cute. Not my type though. Shame."

"Not against doing a little travelling later on. I suppose what use is befriending a time traveler if I have to worry about being late for something?"
She asked with a laugh. She'd had the offer to do some travelling with Rayne and had a time or two. But usually she just liked going to some secluded little cove people hadn't discovered yet and relaxing, forgetting everything. Of course if they did it this time she'd need to remember to bring supplies. She hated ending it early because they ran out of booze. Of course with Rayne and May together that usually happened quickly. Especially when May brought out her private stock, specially designed liquor that gets her drunk.
"Besides, you know I love your rambling. I've learned so much about history."
She said with a laugh. She was used to Rayne rambling on and on. At first she'd tried to corral her but that never worked. Instead she just listened and honestly took it with a grain of salt. She often got confused as to which reality she was in, something she could see happening.
"I'm not here looking for a guy. Namely because if I was I would've taken him. I feel bad for the guy really. He stands by her no matter what and she'll end up cheating on him and leaving him for some douche bag who treats her like crap. Besides if I was looking for a guy I'd give your brother a call."
She said with a laugh and a nudge. She noticed Rayne eyeing her cigar and rolled one over to her before sipping her new beer.
"Oh, I forgot to mention, I got a new roommate. Don't worry, you can still crash with me when need be. You'd like her. Sure she's Coulson's....ward I guess. But she's like a teenage us."

Yes oh yes! Hearing her friend say yes always had her excited. Sure travelling with her brother was fun and all when they did do it but there was nothing like time travelling with a friend, a good friend. Made everything so much more exciting! Although there were times where it inevitably ended horribly. Because, let's face it, with Rayne and May together, something was always meant to go wrong. There was no voice of reason between them what so ever. "Excellent! We can head off later! Much later! Possibly tomorrow. But right now, i need to rest. So much bounce bounce bouncing around in time. Takes a toll on ya!"
She couldn't help that big ol' grin that crossed her lips at the notion that someone actually liked the way she rambled on and on. She wasn't sure how much people actually learned about history from her, honestly. But it was fun to think she wasn't just a nuisance. Of course, how could she be a nuisance? She was simply amazing. Astounding! It delighted her to hear that others thought so though. "I am working on it, really. I mean, some people don't mind it but there are others that it annoys the piss out if them. Then again, it's a pretty good method of distraction sometimes. It's gotten me out of a few sticky situations. Well ish. Totally different stories though. You've probably heard them anyway. But it's nice to know you don't mind it. I should give you a pop quiz on history. See just how much you actually know," she teased. She didn't even notice the cigar rolled over to her.
She turned her focus away from the swirling smoke back to the man. She couldn't help but feel.sorry for him hearing what May said. Maybe she should try drawing his attention away from the tramp herself. Although as May said something about her brother, she pulled a face. "Ew gross, I don't need to hear that!" she leaned forward, placing her hands on May's shoulder. "Besides, why would you want him when you have the better half right here?" At that thought, though, she glanced away, looking thoughtful. "I should probably give him a call. Haven't seen him in a few days. Or was it weeks? See, i don't even know. Such a bad sister. Bet he is worried sick! Oh well, remind me to call him later, okay?"
Rayne let the girl go completely to focus on her refreshed drink. "Rooming with the boss man's daughter, huh? I wanma hear allllll about. Do i know her already? Probably not. I wanna meet her, ASAP! Need to know the people i might crash with after all, you know?" she hadn't even been aware that Coulson had a daughter! She knew he had a son. Well, an adopted son. But an adopted daughter too? He just takes in all of the strays, doesn't he? Sweet man.

May simply nodded her head when Rayne mentioned needing to rest before they went travelling. May was looking forward to a little time travelling but she understood. Jumping around had to be exhausting, let alone bringing someone along with you. But she knew she'd have more than enough time to travel with Rayne. They were part of the same team so it was only a matter of time before they were together again.
"A pop quiz on history? No offense Ray Ray, but are you really the best person to give a quiz about history? I mean on one hand you might remember the wrong time line, and on the other you could be a b*tch and go back in time and change it so I'm wrong. But I think that'd bring about a huge paradox that I don't feel like dealing with right now."
She said with a laugh. She put her cigar out and sighed lightly. She was vaguely aware of paradoxes that came with time travel but had no desire to go in depth on them. Mainly because they confused her and she didn't understand them nearly as much as she liked to pretend she did. She couldn't help but laugh though when Rayne seemed to pretend to be jealous that May was interested in her brother. Of course she wouldn't mention that they'd slept together on occasion. Olly and May agreed Rayne didn't need to know that. Of course they both also assumed she did.
"You and I both know Olly isn't that worried about you, well no more worried than normal. Mainly because he would track you down if he was."
She'd never admit it but she was jealous of their relationship. She didn't really have anyone who was that concerned over her, let aloe a sibling. The closest she had was Rayne and they could go weeks without talking. While not extremely common, it did happen.
"Not much to say. Name's Lydia, she's a TT and is likely off doing, something related to that. Coulson wanted her to finish school but she got tired of living alone, so there I came in."
Of course she used the not so clever code to mean she was a Teen Titan, but it would let Rayne know she didn't have to hide anything around her.
"Bit of a neat freak but let's be honest, that's something I could use. She's kinda artsy but definitely with a rebellious streak."

Rayne opened her mouth to say something but quickly closed it back up again. Her cheeks puffed up a bit in thought. Just give her a second, she would think of something! Maybe... or maybe she wouldn't. Oh whatever. "You know, i would never create a time paradox simply to make sure you got a question wrong. Besides, if i did change a historical point of any sort, so long as you learned it in school, you would know the new correct answer! Unless, of course, i brought you with. Then you might retain your previous memories and therefore would get the answer wrong. But do i really look like the type to do such a thing?" she pouted her lips a little, as if trying her hardest to look innocent. Because, of course, why on earth would she ever do such a thing as create a paradox. Aside from those few times she created a time paradox, but that was completely by accident!
May made a good point. Olly would look for her if he was worried. That little tether made it very easy. Well, easy-ish. It wasn't perfect and depending on the universes, i could be very hard to find him. Then again, that could also be because of her usual lack of focus. It takes concentration, after all. As most things do. "Still, i should call him. Have you seen him.recently? How has he been? Probably good as usual. As if he was ever truly in much trouble. I doubt we're even in the same time at the moment. We rarely are anymore. Oh well!"
May started talking about this new girl and she listened intently, her eyes finally spying the cigar that had been rolled over to her. She would save it for something special, an occasion worth a cigar! She would figure out when that occasion came as she picked up the cigar and found a place to stash it away for later. So Lydia was a TT? Interesting. She wondered if she would eventually join the Avengers when she was older. Or possibly the Justice League. It seemed to be a norm, honestly. She wondered what the girl was going to school for, too, though she figured that was something she could figure out later on down the road when she finally met the lady.
"Oooh, rebellious youth are always fun. Think we can get her into some trouble? She sounds like she would be fun to get into trouble with! Well, depending. Is she a hume or is she special? Like mutant special or something? It changes the kind of trouble we can get her in. A TT? How young is she exactly? Super younv teen or older teen? Don't wanna get jailed for endangerment of a minor after all. Not that a prison could really hold us. We would always find a way out. We're too pro to be held prisoner!"

She began shushing Rayne and waving off her paradox rant. Olly had a tendency to do the same thing, it was also annoying. Sure they were both hot but that only saved them so much. Still, she was trying to shush her. Of course she knew she had a point and likely never would go to that level to change things. Plus it got confusing with what she'd know and what she wouldn't.
"I know you wouldn't Ray Ray. I know. I was just giving you crap."
She said with a laugh. Of course getting her all flustered and quasi-angry was never exactly complicated. Hell sometimes May just did it for the hell of it. She liked winding her up and watching her go. Plus sometimes it meant she could go 20 minutes without talking but still be considered in a conversation.
"Recently? That depends. My use of the word recently or yours?"
She asked with a laugh. Of course Rayne's concept of time was greatly skewed and different from the average person's.
"Umm, I ran into him a few days ago. He seemed fine though. I never know what he's working on, primarily because classification and so forth. I think he mentioned he had to deal with some potential new recruits to the Avengers. Or he was using that as an excuse to hit on Stark, or any of the other females. Like he does."
She said, laughing. Olly was always vague about what he did, pretty much the opposite of Rayne. To most it likely seemed odd but to May it made sense. The two were different in every way. Of course learning they were related never seemed that unusual either, not counting their powers. It was subtle intricacies that only those trained to notice things like that would pick them up. May had met them separately but quickly picked up on a relation of sorts.
"Oh I think we can easily get her into trouble and likely wouldn't have to try very hard. And she's a special. Not sure on specifics but part of the reason she's there is she can detain me until the Squad shows up. I'd be offended if it wasn't such a good idea. Plus she's older teen, like almost 18 I think. But she could easily pass for older with the right ID."
She said with a shrug. Rayne also had a good point. Holding them prisoner wouldn't be easy by any means. Not even counting Rayne's portal thing the two were SHIELD trained. Meaning an NYPD jail would be easy for them.
"Yeah, but if we got Coulson's kid or whatever in trouble I'm guessing we wouldn't be in your run of the mill prison."

She ignored the shushing at first. Well, not so much ignored as she just didn't quite notice it. When she got in the zone, she rarely noticed when people were trying to tell her to be quiet. Though she should have guessed that May would hush her on such a topic. It wouldn't be the first time, after all. It seemed there were certain subjects that she had a tendency to rant about that May didn't quite like listening to. Like paradoxes, for instance. While Rayne might thought them exciting to discuss, others didn't quite feel the same.
"Oh... i knew that. But, just let the record show that i definitely would not do such a thing. Well, actually... maybe. I mean, it would be fun to create a paradox simply to try and fix it. Assuming it didn't tear a hole in the universe and screw things up completely for everyone. Actually, maybe i will do that. But in a different timeline. One of those timelines that don't matter, you know? Why of course you know! Actually, maybe that's a bad idea. I don't know. What do you think, May?" She gave her friend a quizzical look, sincerely pondering the notion of a paradox. On the inside she knew it was a bad idea. But that didn't seem to make the idea seem any less appealing to her. There was probably something wrong with her, but there was no psychological proof to back that up.
"Yours, not mine. My definition is far too... Wibbly wobbly. I'm curious what trouble I've been missing." She laughed. She listened to May speak and snorted, shaking her head. "Of course, he can't ever leave my friends alone, can he. I'll let him have his Avenger fun, i suppose. After all, how much trouble could he possibly cause flirting with the recruits?" Actually... now that she said it outloud, she realized that he could probably get into a lot of trouble with them and trouble was her job! Well, she could hope he wouldn't tread on her territory.
Oh that was something she really didn't need to worry about. She would just have to just talk to Olly at some point, make sure he's staying out of trouble. Besides, she had another she needed to worry about getting into trouble. And she apparently went by the name of Lydia. "Well well well, we will definitely have to work double time on getting her a passable id. I know a guy who can do it. Or at least i think i do. So long as i name the right price! We'll just have to work on not getting caught though. Getting caught would be bad." May made a good point, though. No run of the mill prison. Well so long as it wasn't a prison in the Negative Zone, they should be just fine. "Like i said, we will have to work doubly hard not to get caught! If there is no real proof, Coulson can't possibly reprimand us, right? Of course I'm right! I'm brilliant after all!"

The idea of Rayne randomly creating a paradox just so she can try and fix it was concerning. Of course May could also see her trying it just randomly. Likely nothing too extreme, she hoped. But at least if she made life cease to exist May wouldn't actually know it happened. Of course May was still hoping it didn't happen, she was a fan of existing. May had done pretty well simply existing. Of course she did have to agree that Rayne's definition of 'recently' was far too confusing. May had long given up on trying to understand her concept of time flow. Of course May knew it wasn't her fault. Her flying through time had caused so many likely issues in trying to figure things out.
"Well I don't think that his plan is based solely on banging your friends. I think it's coincidence because you have a lot of hot friends. I mean he went after me, so clearly he has excellent taste."
She said with a laugh. She wasn't entirely sure why Olly seemed to sleep with his sister's friends. Whether it was coincidence or conscious she wasn't sure, but she wasn't complaining. As Rayne asked how he could get in trouble flirting with recruits she rolled her eyes.
"One, he's SHIELD so he can come and go as he pleases, pun intended. Two, he doesn't JUST flirt, believe me. I personally think that he won't rest till he's slept with every woman he can. An admirable goal really, everyone needs a hobby."
She laughed loud at that one. Of course she found her joke hilarious. Primarily because it was her joke, so naturally she was biased. As she finished her beer she signaled for another one. Rayne was what she needed, she was feeling better already.
"Hey Smitty, how about ya send us down some Whiskey?"
She asked with a smile. The bartender brought down May's new beer as well as a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses. May poured each of them a shot and looked to Rayne and laughed.
"Yes, you are brilliant, but you might be landing me behind bars. I like to think with my intelligence, strength and sex appeal I could rule a prison. Ya know, provided Coulson allowed me to even talk to other people. Now drink your shot."
She said holding her own shot up and quickly downing it.

She chuckled at that. "Well duh my friends are hot! I hand picked them after all! Not that i pick you guys by your hotness levels. It just helps!" Rayne spoke with as much seriousness as she could muster. It was pretty sad that it was all true. Well ish, sometimes she was pretty sure that she only kept popping up at Stark Tower because Ginnie was fun to look at. "Although, knowing Olly's reputation, you never know. Maybe it is a goal of his. I mean look at my friends! Hell, even i would love to take a shot at half of them. But sex is the least of my concerns with them. Friends are there to talk and drink with and get into trouble with! Not get into their pants. And I'm just fine with that." She didn't quite know where that had even come from. She just shrugged it off.
She had went to take a sip of her drink but ultimately spit it out as she heard her friend. "Dude, not cool to make someone laugh when they're drinking! That was the last of my beer, too," she laughed, wiping at her mouth. Honestly, she was pretty sure that it was just a personal goal of his. It had to be, after all. What with how many people he's already slept with and the number of nieces and nephews shf had across the timelines. Sometimes she wondered if Olivier even understood the meaning of 'protection'. "Well, i would wish him the best of luck with that endeavor. Knowing some of my friends, he's gonna need. Let's see him get that iron chastity belt off of Miss Stark."
Rayne was pretty happy to have run into May. She always delighted her and already May seemed to be in a better mood. She was smiling, laughing even. That smile was always worth it. It made her want go never stop grinning herself. "You know, laughtee is the best kind of medicine. You should try doing that more often. It's such a nice sound, too," she cooed, trying to keep from laughing again herself.
She shook her head, snickering. "But see, that's a part of my brilliance, May Day! I wouldn't get you landed behind bars! I know quite a few people. And I'm sure i can frame it up to make it look like someone else did it. I'm a smart one!" she tapped the side of her head as if to illustrate that point. "Gotta be, travelling through time like i do!" She finally put the empty glass down to pick up the shot glass. She examined it a moment, a force of habit. As if anyone would think to try and poison her at a bar. Ridiculous notion. She downed the shot, making a face at the taste. "There ya go, captain. Ya gonna order me to do something else?" she teased.

"Sure, whatever you have to tell yourself Ray Ray."
She said with a light laugh. She knew Rayne had hot friends, it was almost odd how many she had. May had only met a handful of them of course and knew others by reputation. But what she did know she was quite impressed with. While May would never fault her for only having hot friends, May tried to do the same herself. So far with the exception of Lydia she was only friends with people she'd sleep with. Of course the main concern with Lydia was simply her age.
"Not getting into my pants? Tease. Fine I guess we'll just be boring old 'friends'."
She said jokingly. WHile she knew that sleeping with Rayne would likely cause a lot more problems. May was like poison and as soon as she slept with someone it tended to ruin everything after awhile. Hell her longest relationship was only a month or two."
"But I am calling bullshit on you not picking friends for their looks. I've seen your friends Ray Ray. Let's see there's me, face it, I'm damn hot. Hell I've been approached by magazines to do spreads, some even with my clothes on. Then we have Ginnie, makes the Maxim list every damn time and has been called the hottest business woman. Then there's your ex, a freaking actor. Why you never sent him my way I'll never understand. I think you're just greedy."
She said with a laugh, poking her in the side. Of course she'd never sleep with one of Rayne's ex's, friends weren't off limits though. Hell if anything she wouldn't mind partying with Ginnie now and then. She laughed lightly as she mentioned Stark's chastity belt. Was she serious? If so then she was very different from May. To each their own she figured.
"Well I know first hand he is smooth and good with his hands. Plus knowing him he'll still keep trying even after a repulsor blast to the face. It's almost admirable."
She said with a laugh. After their shots she signaled for another one.
"Well keep drinking and we'll see where the night takes us."
She said nudging her. She downed her beer as their shots were set down in front of them.
"Alright, we'll do these shots, pay and then we're going to hit up another bar. I have spoken."
