"Well it would be a good learning experience for him. Teach him not to get distracted. And if anything did go seriously downhill I could air lift everyone out. But I don't normally get that kind of reaction from guys so I wouldn't worry about it." She said with a shrug. She didn't tend to have that kind of distracting effect on many guys, Sebastian being the obvious exception. Lydia normally chalked that up to what he was. He did seem to hit on anything that he could talk to or feed off of.
"And as for your hyper sense of smell, I'll try and avoid anything flowery or perfumes. Though you'll have to put up with my baking." She grinned. "I do take requests of course. It's just something I do when I'm stressed out. If I'm too stressed I can't even draw, so I bake. I always have to create something to mellow out." She always thought that was funny, at least to her. She could destroy things easier than most people, and yet her chosen form of relaxation was to create, not destroy. Sure she did get the odd satisfaction of punching a hole in the wall every now and again, but Phil had highly encouraged the baking after he had practically owned stock in a construction company with all the repairs they had to do.

"Oh he's getting a whole lot of learning experiences from me. However I'm trying to limit it."
She said with a laugh. Could Eddie get distracted by her? Quite possibly. She wasn't entirely sure if he was straight or whatever or what his type was. But she was cute and young, definitely a distraction. He'd likely try something big to show his masculinity and end up hurt and needing to be saved by her.
"Although I'm calling bullshit on you not getting that kind of reaction from guys. Well unless you're into girls, which is cool, whatever works for ya. You're a hot little thing who seems sweet and freaking adorable. But your statement implies you do occasionally get that kind of reaction from guys. So I say spill it Lydia. I smell a good story coming."
She said with a smile as she crossed her legs. As she then went on to talk about baking May brushed that off with a dismissive wave of her hand. She laughed lightly though.
"Well, you'd need to bring your own pans but bake away. I have a tendency to have a high metabolism, not just when I'm drinking. I mean sure I'm no speedster, but I enjoy eating. And who doesn't like a good pie or cookies or whatever? Plus if it keeps you from destroying my walls even better."
She did really enjoy the idea of someone baking. It was about time someone used her kitchen for what it was meant for. All may ever used it for was holding booze and warming up take out. May wasn't really a cook. Sure she could if she had to, she just never did. May would just order pizza or stop and grab burgers or something. Anything to help soak up the booze she'd be drinking later.
"But yeah, just steer clear of flowery scents and anything over bearing. I can handle some subtle scents but the powerful ones make me sick to my stomach sometimes. That's one of the main reasons I've lived alone for so long."

"No, only several bad stories." Lydia huffed and grabbed a pillow off the couch, clutching it to her. She was beginning to notice, in her 17 short years, that she seemed to attract a certain type of fellow. And yes, May was correct, she had the sweet and innocent thing going for her, but all of her boyfriends had turned out to be totally jerks.
"You seem to know about boys, and girls...heck just more about people in general than I do. I guess...I just try and see the best in everyone but it always comes to kick me in my butt. I haven't had too many boyfriends but, they always turn out to be total jerks. Like, the one I went to prom with this year...he got a hotel room and he didn't even ask me. He just assumed. And he had me thinking there would be a bunch of us just hanging out after it was over. But it was just us. He said he'd been patient. But...ugh...boys are dumb! I flew away after making him think I dropped off the balcony and somehow I ended up in Connecticut. When I saw him on Monday he wouldn't even look at me but he was sporting a broken nose and two black eyes. I stopped asking who beats them up after awhile...it's either my brother or one of my friends. I don't even know how they find out half the time. My question is why? Why do I continually get disappointed by guys?" Lydia plucked at the seam on the pillow absentmindedly, thinking about how she'd crash landed in Connecticut and been picked up by a nice old lady in a pick up. Flying while emotional was never a good idea. Her dress had been totally ruined. So had her hair. She'd really liked her hair that night too.

"Well yeah I do know about more. But then again my standards are pretty low. Although that's primarily because I use sex as a means to cope with stress. Given my life, I have a lot of stress. You'll learn I'm very forward. I'm studying to be a psych major and I see the downside to keeping things under wraps. It's not healthy. But yeah just because I, well, I sleep around a lot doesn't mean I know a lot. I mean I've never even had a meaningful relationship. But I suppose it could be argued I know people somewhat well."
She said with a shrug. She knew she was apparently a terrible judge of people. She'd had her heart broken many more times than she'd like to admit. If anything it was pretty much a usual occurrence to have a relationship ended. It was getting to the point Rayne was actually getting annoyed being called about May's newest heart break. But she listened to Lydia's story and nodded her head.
"Well it's simple. You're hot, but extremely sweet and innocent. Jerk guys think that you're an easy target. Also let them know that unlike whoever did that to your prom date, I don't break bones of people that hurt my friends, I sever them. Aggression sort of runs in the family. I like to think I'm mostly balanced though, in comparison."
She leaned back, thinking calmly about the question. She unleashed a claw, tapping it against her chin. She was trying to understand her question and also answer it, professionally.
"Simple, you're like me. You want love. You want a Romeo and Juliet, one true love whole thing. Problem is you believe in it so strongly that you'll look past all possible, and likely obvious, flaws. Tell ya what Lidds, I'll watch out for your guys if you watch out for my guys and girls. I promise I'll at least listen. Then when I ignore you you get to hit me with a super powered I told ya so, and vice versa."
