Tattoo of the word “Josie” on her hip
Equipment and Weapons:
Beauty: A silenced Colt M1911A1 pistol
The Beast: A sawn-off shotgun
Harley Quinn's hammer: A gift from Josie, this is a replica of the hammer her mother used. It is comically oversized, but still incredibly dangerous. It requires enhanced strength to be able to use due to its weight, and is her preferred weapon in combat.
Harley Quinn Costume: Another gift from Josie, it's a replica of the costume her mother wore. It consists of a corset, boots, fingerless gloves and trousers, all of course in red and black. While it doesn't look like much, it's plated and so acts as body armour over the bits of her it does cover.
Powers:
Toxin Immunity: When Melody was becoming Harley Quinn, the first thing Josie did was ensure she was resistant to so-called “Joker Venom”, and as a side-effect other toxins and poisons as well. Melody still isn't sure quite how Josie made her immune, but now she cannot be even harmed by toxins or poisons, whether she ingests them, breathes them in, has them injected into her bloodstream, or any other way they might affect her.
Enhanced Physiology: As a result of whatever Josie did to her, she also has increased physical strength, durability, and stamina. It's not to the point of being super strength, stamina or durability, but she can snap bones without too much effort, sprint several hundred metres or run a few miles without getting especially worn out, and she can take a hit from somebody with super strength and still get back up, albeit in pain
Skills:
Hammer Wielding – Something she's trained herself to do pretty tirelessly ever since becoming Harley Quinn. Despite her hammer being extremely heavy and long and unwieldy, she's taught herself - factoring in her own strength and stamina – to be able to use it very competently and skilfully.
Motorbike Riding: While Melody can handle a car reasonably competently, she comes into her element with motorbikes. While she can't drive them at all legally, she is able to go at great speeds and still handle herself well.
Acting: Seeing as she was an actress before she became Harley Quinn, Melody can act well, whether she needs it for disguises, lying, or anything else. She can confidently adopt a number of emotions and roles, but does struggle to take things seriously while in-character.
Determination: When Melody puts her mind to something, she will be determined to do it. She doesn't do half-measures. If she decides she wants to do something, she'll dedicate all her energy to getting it. The only thing that can make her more determined is if Josie wants something. This also has the effect of making her totally ruthless, but in a playful way.
Gunfighting: Melody can handle herself very well in a gunfight. Not in a way that implies good marksmanship or anything like that. Rather she just handles herself well, not losing her nerve even when facing several armed attackers. Again, her marksmanship is nothing special, she just lays down a ton of fire.
Gymnastics: Something Melody had taken a few classes in during her childhood, which Josie then made her improve. She is now something of an adept at flips, jumps, rolls, somersaults and dives, something she makes full use of as part of her fighting style, for theatrics, or just because.
Hand-to-Hand Combat: Although she prefers to use her hammer up close, if it comes down to it, Melody can use her fists and feet just as well. Her fighting style revolves more around confusing people and taking them by surprise, but her durability and strength do mean that she can just slug it out if she has to.
Improvisation: Melody doesn't exactly form coherent plans or strategies. She normally has a goal in mind, and the beginnings of an idea about how she'll go about getting it, she doesn't really bother to think ahead. Instead, she reacts to situations as and when they happen, and as such she's become very good at it.
Weaknesses: (3 minimum)
1.) Josie: No matter how you look at it, Melody is completely emotionally dependent on the Joker. She bases everything she does around what Josie wants or approves of, and will drop anything she's doing for anything Josie needs. She will do literally anything in her power to do what Joker wants, purely because she's not entirely sure what she could do without her. And the saddest part is the fact that it's a totally one-sided infatuation.
2.) Obsessive: A clear factor of her personality is her ability to ge
t distracted and obsessed over things, whether they be big and small. Her biggest obsession is clearly Josie, but her determination can lead her into many more obsessions. When she's obsessed with something, it'll normally be taking up a large place in her mind until she can resolve it, affecting other things she does.
3.) Unstable: Like her mother, Melody isn't necessarily the most stable of people. She doesn't have the best hold over her emotions, and she's actually pretty easy to screw with because of this. It's probably one of the quickest ways to take her out, seeing as if she's set off, it can have a variety of effects, from beserk anger to crippling unhappiness or worry.
4.) Pretty Much Human: Despite being enhanced to be stronger and tougher, Melody is still functionally human. She doesn't have any powers, nor anything especially supernatural to help her. She has to rely on her own wits and the modifications the Joker made to her.
5.) Jealousy: It is insanely easy to make Melody jealous. While she'll normally be jealous if Josie is paying more attention to somebody else than her, she can also just pick at things to be jealous of, and will generally do irrational things to the person who made her jealous
6.) Submissive: Melody tends to slip under another person's command too quickly to make her own impact. While she is capable of striking out on her own, she's far more comfortable carrying out somebody else's bidding.

THE REST
Personality:
Playful: Melody is joking and playful to the point of rarely taking anything seriously, if ever. No matter how important or tense a situation is, Melody is likely to approach it with a giggle and a stupid remark. The only time she'll consider taking something at all seriously is if Josie tells her to, and even then it's a push.
Loyal: Part of her dedication and also part of her obsessiveness, Melody is loyal to those she deems worthy of it, and will stick by their side through everything. While at the moment her main loyalty is to Josie, she can and does have other loyalties to other people.
Unstable: As mentioned above, Harleen Quinzel's instability was passed down to Melody, who has very little control over her emotions, whether they be positive, negative, or otherwise. She tends to be very easy to trigger emotionally and can have mood swings rapidly.
Impatient: Melody really doesn't do sitting around and doing nothing, waiting for things. She prefers to be doing something and for things to happen quickly. When things don't happen quickly., she tends to get angry and violent rather quickly.
Easily Bored: Tying into the impatience, Melody gets bored very very quickly when she's not got anything to do, and like with the impatience, her way of finding things to do involves violence very often. Or sometimes, she might just bother people until they give her something to do.
Sadistic: Just a little bit. Melody very much enjoys other people's pain, and delights in causing it. This can sometimes lead to her losing track of the bigger picture as she gets distracted hurting somebody. Normally, she prefers not to kill people if she can, because then it means she can't hurt them anymore, but she can still enjoy murder.
Naive: Despite all of this, Melody is somewhat naïve. It can be very easy to make her believe things, even those that sound ridiculous. By the same thread, however, it also makes her very receptive to doing as she's told. She's not completely stupid, however, and will question things.
History:
When Harleen Quinzel was removed from the original Joker's life, she was distraught. She suddenly had a gaping hole in her life, and no way to fill it. She certainly couldn't adjust to a normal life, and the allure of being a big criminal had vanished without her Mr. J to share it. So she turned to a life of petty crime to sustain herself and abusing various things to fill the gap, such as sex.
It was during one of those meaningless nights that Melody was conceived. Harleen barely knew the father, he was just some guy. However, during that encounter, Harleen's luck ran out and she conceived a child. Knowing that she couldn't raise a child with the way she was, Harleen gave birth to it and then left the child to be put up for adoption. Really, the future could have gone any way for Melody at that point.
Fortunately, it went a good way. She was adopted by a couple named Melissa and Jon Talent, who were licensed arms dealers and made a decent living. While at first they thought themselves infertile, they did manage to conceive twin children, whom Melody grew up with as brother and sister.
Melody had a pretty happy childhood as the child of Melissa and Jon Talent. She went to a private school, received a good education, had good friends, and was generally pretty spoiled. However, there was always something off about her. Even as a child she was violent and suffered from mood swings that made her pretty hard work. She still had a pretty good relationship with her family, but at that point she was reasonably controlled and now too unstable. The main point of contention between her and her family was that they wanted her to take over the family business of arms dealing, when Melody had absolutely no interest in business, although she did think the weapons were cool.
They argued about that for a year or two, but then Jennifer started showing an aptitude for business, and finally Melissa and Jon dropped it. So then, Melody was free to pursue any career she wanted – within reason, and she knew exactly the sort of career she wanted. Something exciting, something risky, something fun. So she decided to take up acting. She joined drama clubs, took part in amateur productions, anything she could to improve. She showed real talent, and it looked like, with the right breaks and the right luck, she might actually have found her calling.
However, that all changed when she met Josephine Lawler. It was during her first proper break, a small part in a movie, just a couple of lines, nothing much, but she was approached by Josie. At first, Josie just claimed to be a fan and an admirer, who just wanted to meet her. Melody believed this, and as the two began to spend more time together, going for meals or coffee, Josie was able to get her claws in her, twisting her around her little finger. It didn't take long before Melody was completely infatuated.
Then, one night, when they'd known each other a while, Josie asked Melody to come with her and not ask any questions. By this point, Melody was so infatuated that she didn't complain. She didn't know what Josie wanted, but she had her hopes as to what it might be. As she was led to a dark house, however, it turned out to be nothing she was hoping for.
Afterwards, Melody wouldn't even remember what had happened. All she knew was that afterwards she was stronger, more durable, and tired slower. She hadn't noticed that her time with Josie had made her instability and mood swings and sadism all that much worse, but the effects of that were just as apparent. Despite this, however, she was still completely dedicated to Josie, and so when Josie asked for her to help her with “activities”, Melody jumped at the chance. In a cruel twist of fate, the child of Harley Quinn had met the same fate as her mother.
So that was Melody's life now, the life of Harley Quinn. She did whatever Josie needed her to, while also committing crimes on her own. She made something of a name for herself in the villainous underworld, but she was always far more happy under Josie's wing, in the place the Joker had decided for her.

Sample RP:
Melody narrowed her eyes at the bank as her and several goons in clown masks walked towards it. The few people on the street melted out of their path as they saw the weapons they were carrying, and they were able to reach the building unopposed.
“Alright boys, you know the drill!” She said, and without bothering to explain further, she kicked open the door to the bank and fired her gun into the air. A silenced pistol wasn't a terribly impressive weapon to fire into the air, so she used The Beast instead. Instantly, all noise within the bank stopped as the clowns with her also fired their submachine guns into the air.
“This is a stick-up!” She announced, as her goons pointed weapons at the few guards, “So stick 'em up!” None of the guards decided it'd be a good idea to reach for their own weapons, which was a shame really. Melody paused, and came up with an idea that she was going to use to proceed. But first... She walked up to one of the guards.
“Nobody did anything stupid, high-five!” She raised her hand, but he remained stony-faced. Her tone dropped dangerous. “I said...” She almost growled, and grabbed his hand, yanking it to shoulder height, “High. Five.” She slammed her hand into his with shocking force, and then grabbed and wrenched, snapping it. He yelled and oh god was it a good sound.
She swaggered forwards a few steps to survey the scene. She hoped Josie would be proud of how she'd handled things so far. Sadly, she hadn't been able to bring the hammer. It was just too big and awkward for a job like this. She still had the look, however, so she hoped people would know who had robbed them.
“Here's how we're gonna do this,” Melody decided, “You boys...” She gestured to the guards, “Are gonna bag all the money. As much as you can. And if any of you bag less than a few thousand bucks, I'm gonna cap you.” She giggled and bounced, “It'll be like a game!” The guards, minus the one who had a broken arm, scrambled over to the drawers and began bagging, her goons pointing guns at them the whole time. She decided the one with the broken arm didn't have to join in. As she waited, Melody sighed and tapped her foot impatiently. She had a feeling someone had hit a silent alarm, which meant they had only a few minutes until the cops showed up.
“Hurry up!” She called, and it looked like some of them redoubled their efforts.
All in all, she was only waiting about five minutes, but it felt like forever. But finally, the guards returned with bags of money, and Melody grinned as her clowns took them.
“Good boys,” She said, and actually patted one of them on the head, “I guess you all get to live.” She sighed at that, but then brightened. “Come on, clowns!” And with that, they walked out the door and dumped the bags in the van and drove off, the sirens just beginning as they left.
