It's my own desire. It's my own remorse. Kammi tapped her fingers lightly on her chair as she watched the idiot that called himself a scientist try and draw blood from her arm. This was not how she was wanting to spend her time in New York. There was a Captain she needed to get close to, first of all. And every second she wasted waiting for this damned fool to consequently fail over and over while trying to get to her veins. It wasn't that hard to find, but she tried to keep her cool for a moment, literally having to focus on how hot her body was getting. But with each poke, each prod, each stab, she felt herself getting hotter and hotter until it came to the point in which heat was starting to radiate off of her very being. "Du dummer kleiner trottel. You are not fit to be taking my blut," she growled, reaching out with left hand and wrapping her fingers around the mans throat. There was an initial look of panic in his eyes as she started to heat her hand up while also transferring heat energy into the man through the skin on skin contact. Her fingers tightened a moment as she say his eyes start to turn a faint, bloodshot red and begin to roll up into his head. Boiled brains, Verena would love them. The other two scientists that were in the room gave her a fearful look as she turned faux green eyes towards them. She stood a moment to reach into her jacket pocket and pulled out a switch blade. "You are vanting my blut, ja? Then have it like this." She rolled up her sleeve and quickly slashed her wrist, watching the blood start to bubble up. The scientists just stared a moment before hopping to work, grabbing vials to catch the blood with. She tilted her arm to one side, rolling her eyes slightly as she waited for them to get a whole vial full before rubbing at the wound, smearing the blood along her arm. It would be healed before the day was up, that she knew. But until then, one of her 'doctors' grabbed some bandages so she could wrap her arm up herself. "Das wird genug sein?" She asked, slipping unknowingly back into her native tongue for a moment. The frustration of working with imbeciles was clearly getting to her. Making sure the her arm was properly tied up, she headed towards the door of her suite. One of the scientists tried to stop her, telling her they still needed to finish up testing but one quick glare had them flinching backwards. She took a deep breathe and recomposed herself, putting on a bright smile and fixing the brunette wig to make sure it was on just right. "I'll be back later, don't wait up for me. I've got a Patriot to find," she said with a small giggle, her thick german accent suddenly disappearing as she tried to sound more American. The change was astounding and it had the pair of scientists almost baffled. "Take care of the body, will ya? I don't need to hear complains from room service, after all. Toodlelou~" With a small wave, she bounced out the door. She paused in the lobby of the hotel to check her reflection in the window. She was dressed like she imagined any number of tourists would. An I Heart New York shirt with a thin jacket over it to keep her arms covered, pair of dark denim jeans, rips in it like the kids seemed to wear, and a pair of black Converses on her feet. The wig she wore was brown and wavy, going done just past her shoulders. And her eyes, turned green through the help of special contacts. She wore a simple black choker around her neck, not much different from her usual one that went with her costume. It was required for her, so that, were something to happen, she could get into quick communication with the ones she needed in her squad or the doctors up in her room. It also helped that it was used to keep a record of her vitals for those very same doctors. It was more so her idea to keep it on than anyone else's, thinking that the data it could collect might be beneficial in gaining better control. 'Dressed for success,' she thought momentarily before heading out the door. She couldn't help but wonder what secrets this city might store. She hadn't been here in so long. Not since the death of Bucky and Natasha... Ah, such fond memories those were. 775 | @open | open for anyone to bug her |

A loud "BOOM!" could be heard from a near by bank as the doors flew open and a man in a back mask with a bag of money came out with his free hand having a light red glow around it. The man frowned when he noticed that a group of cops were in front of the building taking cover behind their cars as they yelled "Freeze!" The man smiled underneath his mask as he knew that he could easily get out of this situation with a simple, but effective brute force approach. He would then stretch out his arm and fired a red beam of energy from his hand one of the police cars that were standing in his way and when it hit the car was suddenly sent flying across the street and towards a group of pedestrians that were on the side walk which included a certain "tourist" wearing a black jacket, an I heart NY shirt and a brown wavy wig. But before it was able to hit any of them, Ben in his Spider-Man costume suddenly dropped from the sky and landed in front of the crowd before putting his hands in front of him and catching the car with no signs of strain on his part due to his super human strength.
The web head could hear the people around him pointing out in amazement that Spider-Man of all people was hear and could hear the clicking of cell phones as people took picture of him. Though there was of course a good portion of people who were terrified at what was happening and either ran away or were paralyzed in fear. The teen would then turn around and said "Don't worry, I'll take care of this". He would then leap over the car and ran towards the bank as police began to shoot at the man in the black mask, however a red energy shield engulfed his body causing the bullets to ricochet off of his body. With on one the bullets heading towards his head, Ben's spidey sense began to tingle and he dodged the bullet by ducking causing the bullet to go into the police car he caught earlier. Once he got to the scene, the bank robber noticed the web head and fired a beam of energy at him, but Ben leaped into the air and dodged before firing off a strand of web towards the bank robber. Once the web reached it target, Ben pulled on it bringing the man towards him while in mid air. And once he was close enough, Ben punched him in the face with the energy shield shattering against the force of his super human strength.
Ben landed on his feet as the man landed onto the ground on his back and before he was able to get up, Ben unleashed a wide dispersal of thick webs at the man wrapping him up in a cocoon of web with only his head sticking out. The young hero would then look at the cops and noticed that some of them were looking at him with suspicion since Ben was not the first person to take up his father's mantel and not all of them did good things.

It's my own desire. It's my own remorse. Kammi stuffed her hands into her jacket pockets, only now wishing she'd grabbed her sunglasses. It was brighter outside than she thought it would be. Oh well, poor planning on her part. She didn't mind the pain in her left wrist, wondering just how long it would take the wound to heal. She should have drawn out the rest of the energy of that dead bastard to make it heal better, but oh well. These were things she should have thought about before. She wasn't entirely sure where she was going to go. Maybe Central Park. Or maybe she would go find a spot where she could check out the famed Avengers Mansion. While she might not be able to enter, its location would still be quite useful. That is, until she heard a loud 'BOOM' resonate through the city. It was close, very close, and, without a thought, she felt her feet starting to pull her towards the location. She slipped seamlessly into the crowd, pushing her way to the front as she watched the scene. The man, he was a mutant. Or perhaps a mutate like herself. Someone not born with their gift but still gained it through things that happened in life. She got hers through experimentation. Her unlocked potential. Though, when she thought about it, perhaps she was a mutant, just not one whose gene was meant to ever kick in. Not that it mattered. Her eyes were drawn towards the man in the mask. The robber. 'Petty thief, not smart enough to do anything on his own. But with the right guidance, that gift would be useful. And the energy, I could draw from that for days. Experiment power levels. Keep my cells stored up with enough energy to become my own nuclear bomb. Beautiful,' she thought to herself, though she didn't show any signs of amusement in her features. As the car was sent towards them, while it wasn't her natural reflex to do as such, she made herself flinch and try to duck, hiding behind her hands as if she thought that would stop it. As if she were a dumb little american deer in headlights. She was pretty sure that the vehicle hitting her wouldn't kill her, anyway, though it would definitely hurt like a bitch, might be in a coma for a few weeks, nay, months while her body tried to heal itself. That was, of course, just the arrogance talking. She peeked up from behind her hands slowly as she saw as she seemed to hear the car collide into someone else. She was genuinely surprised by who she saw. She had to go through her mental directory of known heroes and vigilantes. Spiderman. The costume said it all. She stayed cowered for a moment, trying to make it seem like she was in a state of utter shock. Shallow breathes. Dilated eyes. Speeding heart. It wasn't until the man was completely webbed up that Kamilla seemed to make herself unfreeze. So many of them were looking at the man like he was a criminal, but she knew better. No, he was the enemy, or at least to her. But he was also only there for good. Good, meaning that someone, anyone, would need to try and be thankful. None of the other bystanders seemed to even be trying. So, before any of them could, she pushed forward, pushing her way past the cops to get closer to the so called Spiderman. "Y-you just saved my life. Th-thank you, Mister." A neutral accent, influence by the american midwest tainted her tone, though not a trace of german could be found in it. That was one of her gifts. Not one given to her by any fancy mutation, no, a natural gift. Voice mimicry, the use of accents, various other things She needed to play her roles after all. "How... how can I ever repay you?"655 | @john | Hope this is an alright reply. |

While his spider-sense wasn't going off, Ben could feel the tension in the air as the cops eyed him with suspicion and he knew that if he didn't play his card right, that they will be after him instead which was the last thing the young hero needed as he struggled to find balance between the hepatic life of a teenager and the dangerous life of a superhero. There was an awkward silence for a moment until the "tourist" in the brown wig stepped out of the crowd and pushed her way through the cops before thanking him and asking him if he could do anything for him. The teenage boy smiled underneath his mask as he always liked being thanked for the good things he has done, especially with the way some of the news outlets in New York make him out the be a menace that was tarnishing the name of original Spider-Man. He could tell by the way the brown haired woman was dressed and by her accent that she obviously wasn't from around here and was most likely here on vacation. After all, no New Yorker would ever wear an I heart NY T-shirt. "No problem, I'm glad just glad that I was able to get here in time. If I had been one second late you would have been... well you know" said Ben knowing full well that the only reason why he was able to save her was due to the fact that he was here at the right place and at the right time.
"And you don't have to repay me, but is there anything I can do for you to make your experience in New York better? I imagine that your outlook on this place is pretty bad seeing how you were almost killed" said Ben wanting her experience in New York City to be good. Sure New York had the most superheroes and villain activity, but it there was more to this place than that. It is the melting pot of different cultures and while Washington DC was where all of the important decisions were being made, New York City was the heart and soul of America.

It's my own desire. It's my own remorse. The natural responses a normal human being gives when they're life has just been saved are always a bit vague. it differs from person to person. Some try to show their gratitude while others are secretly thankful. For Kamilla, however, all that could really be felt was a void of uncaring. She probably should care, after all, she needed to be alive. But who is to say what would and wouldn't kill her? She still didn't have a complete understanding of her powers. No, they seemed so new to her. But she didn't know that she healed fast, maybe not as fast as someone such as, say, Wolverine, but by human standards, she healed at a remarkable rate. Who's to say that she didn't also possess some form of enhanced durability as well? It was a nice though, unlikely, but nice. Still, that being said, with her natural responses being repressed, you wouldn't even realize it was all an act, a clever ruse, a lie. No, not even a fluctuation in her heartbeat. She was a masterful liar and an even better actress. It was just what she did. She tried to step closer, take his hands or something to emphasize her gratitude. She could feel one of the cops coming to try and grab her, pull her away, but when Ben spoke up, he seemed to momentarily back off. "One second later and I woulda been a pancake... I can't thank you enough, sir." There was a small twinkle in her eyes, a gleam left by the faintest hint of joyful tears. Nothing too much, they wouldn't roll down her cheek or anything like that. Anything he could do to make her experience better? Hmm, now that was a good question. With the prospect that this wasn't exactly the New York she remembered, there were a couple of things she could use. Namely, a tour, some sort of guide, show her around. "Well, there is one thing... I..." She pulled her arms back and turned away partially, shaking her head. "No, I can't ask that. It'd be stupid. And I'm sure you have so many other people in this city to save." She kept those faux green eyes away for a moment, eyeing the direction she had come from. She was feigning nervousness as she felt her fingers start to run along the edge of her jacket pockets. "But, I mean... If you're not too busy... It would just make my trip to be given a tour by a real hero." She threw a hesitant glance over at him before looking away again. "But it's stupid to think someone like you would have time like that to waste on a thing like me."454 | @john | Short but I hope it's okay none the less... or not as short as i thought but, you know... |

"Well, I'm sure that you would have done the same for me if I was in the same position as you and you were the one with radio active spider powers instead of me" said Ben who had absolutely no idea that this woman would probably do very terrible things if she had his powers. With tensions eased, the police slowly began to get back to work by questioning witnesses in the bank, calling in for a truck truck designed to handle super powered criminals and keeping people away from the crime scene as they gather evidence. Some of the police even took picture of the web head talking to the tourist. After asking his question, he watched as the tourist say that there was one thing he could do before partially turning away and began to shake her head saying that there was no way that she could ask that since it was stupid and he had many more lives to save. The boy had an idea what the woman wanted since web swinging through the city with Spider-Man was something many of his classmates, especially the girls wanted to do.
But before he could say anything, she seemed to muster up the courage nd asked him he could give her a personal tour of the city. The boy stroked his chin for a moment thinking about whether or not he should give this woman a tour, especially when there were lives to save, crimes to stop and possibly criminal that have broken out of jail to get vengeance on Spider-Man. While that last one was something that Ben himself has yet to experience, it happened with his father a lot and he expected that it would someday happen to him as he continued his super hero activities as Spider-Man.
"I'll be happy to give you a tour, but I need you to promise me not to put yourself in danger if we happen to stumble on a crime that needs to be stopped or people that are in need of rescue. Do I make myself clear?" asked Ben hoping that this tourist at least had the common sense to do that.
