It was a beautiful day out and lots of students were outside. Some were relaxing, some were sparring and some were even doing homework. The gates opened suddenly and a black '67 Challenger with a blue stripe down the middle and a pitbull hanging her head out the window rolled in. People stopped to look, curious as to who the new arrival was. Some had theories but most assumed it was someone new. The car came to a stop near the garage and the door opened. Out stepped a blue man with wings and a tail. He was wearing a black Ramones T'shirt with red bandannas on each wrist, sunglasses, black shorts and flip flops. Missy, the pitbull, jumped out of the car and began sniffing everything. He went around to the trunk and pulled out two guitar cases and a suitcase on wheels that he grabbed with his tail.
As soon as he stepped onto the walkway Missy came to his side and people began to swarm to him. He smiled for pictures and signed a few things with each step. He'd always been good about his fans, especially among the mutant community. It seemed once he was done with a few pictures and autographs he'd take a couple steps and get swarmed again. His reason for being home was terrible but he was happy to be home. He was glad to finally be among family where he could be a degree of himself. He wouldn't be his true self, not yet or ever actually. No one could know the real him. No one but Missy. Only because she was the only one who would understand him and refused to judge him.
"Alright calm down calm down. There's plenty of me to go around."
He placed a sharpie in his tail and began using that to sign autographs.
"I hope to see plenty of you in my new music class."
Sure losing everything sucked, but at the same time it might be what he needed for a fresh start. it would give him a chance to approach things differently, maybe live a normal life. Oh he knew that was bull. People like him didn't COULDN'T do a normal anything, let alone live a normal life. No, he wasn't the type to settle down in a nice suburb and raise a family behind a white picket fence.
