Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky
This was it, this was going to be the one. Dahlia was finally gonna get somewhere out here. Yeah, it was probably a bad idea. Was she going to get grounded after this? Most definitely! Did she care? Okay, yeah, she did. She cared a whole lot more than she would like to admit, but darn it, she really wanted to see out there! She got to live out in space, got to grow up here, grow up around people who were so different from the ones she would have been raised around had she been given the chance to grow up on earth. And yet, even with all of that in mind, knowing that she had been given this opportunity to see the nexus' of space, all she wanted to do was see where she'd come from. She wanted to go home, wanted to get a good sense of it outside of the photographs and what little bit of memory she had of it. The only issue was getting through from Knowhere. She knew how to use the system somewhat, but not well enough to get her from where she was to where she wanted to go. Getting outside of the giant skull was about as close as she's ever really gotten. She also didn't want it to be traceable, didn't want to set anyone off on high alert, so she knew she was going to have to find another way. At the moment, that other way seemed like flying around outside and seeing how far she could get.
There was apart of her that wished that A'jax was still around. That humanoid robot was such a fun person to hang with, gave her at least someone to talk to that wasn't her family, a friend she could really spend all day with and never feel bored. But he'd been gone for, gosh, she didn't even know how long and searching around Knowhere had to end at some point, right? Exactly. So, without him to have go with her, she was on her own. Maybe, by some sheer luck, she'd find something exciting out here, some sort of clue as to which way she would need to head before going home and maybe, just maybe, she'd be able to do so without her parents even noticing. Wouldn't that be amazing? Her only real worry was getting caught far too soon.
Actually, that probably wasn't so much a worry as it was something she understood would most definitely be an issue. The last time she came out here unsupervised, she had gotten maybe a hundred or so feet before literal disaster had struck. But maybe this time would be different! She'd be able to get a bit farther away! That was the hope at least. With a smile on her lips, and a heart full of hope, the magical girl flew away from Knowhere and started on her adventure out into space. She wasn't sure just how fast she was flying, but as she looked over her shoulder, she noticed that Knowhere was slowly shrinking more and more into the distance until it was no more than a speck in her vision. Her smile grew more into a grin as she turned her attention forward again only to have the expression completely fall from her face. She was just feet away from a ship coming towards her. Quickly, she veered up, her leg just barely clipping the top. The softest sigh of relief escaped her as she looked down. The ship was starting to stop, what sort of ship it was, she hadn't a clue, but it'd seen her and she could only imagine what sort of lovely people might be inside. There was a bit of a sheepish look in her eyes as she stared down at it. "This can't be good..."
