Alex was nervous. More Nervous then she usually was. This was her first time she actually tried to tackle any sort of investigation on her own so she was nervous if everything actually worked out. Sure it was foolish and reckless to track down where the suit that the fake Rhino got the suit from without help from either May or Jessica. Hell she didn't even know if she followed the lead correctly. After her whole encounter with May and taking the thing down, she tracked the route of destruction, which was easy to do, from there it got difficult. Thankfully due to discovering a guy trying to burn the place down to remove the accident. She wasn't able to stop the fire before it spread but was able to do at least catch the guy who set the fire.
After finding the location turning out to be some warehouse used in the harbour, and stalking it for a few days she was finally going to fully uncover what was going on here. So far what she uncovered was that the suit was made by some new organisation who had been slowly been gathering weaponry, technology and just over all materials from both legit and non-legit. Not much else. The guy was really useful for info and literally told her everything he knew. After the interrogation she tied him with several webs and left him hanging from a street lamp. Some traditions die hard, and she did find it fun to tie people up like that, though not like she was going to admit it.
Of course it was going to be easy for her to sneak into anywhere. Being able to climb up any surfaces with no difficult was always a plus. Hell the only true thing she had to worry about was the top half of her costume which was a mix of white and red though the height and people not usually checking the ceilings of big buildings. Plus the use of shadows made it even easier. And it really did seem like shadows were necessary.
Sneaking in during the time when the night shift was coming in. At first nothing seemed wrong, it just seemed like 3 security guards doing their job and patrolling the area looking for intruders and the owner of the warehouse in his office. Alex was getting bored until something strange happened. The 3 guards seemed to be letting a lot of people into the building. They didn't look too inconspicuous. Some seemed to be wearing some sorts of padding underneath their clothing and overall just heavy clothing. Along with him came 3 well dressed men. Well one well dressed man and two big burly men who seemed to be recently in a fight wearing suits with a lot of dried stains which looked like they could be a variety of things.
The one well dressed man who seemed to be in charge of this little ragtag team seemed to be giving orders. "Alright you C***s! Get your gear and get moving! Plans are moving ahead of schedule!"
The 3 dressed men started making their way to the owners office, but Alex wasn't observing that. Alex was looking at the large group of misfits that started opening crates and taking out some serious firepower. Big guns, weird equipment and a lot of stuff that they shouldn't have.
"Oh... Crap" Alex said as she watched it all from her perch on one of the hanging lights.
"Note to self: Is it wrong that I'm so excited about fighting people like this?" Alex lowered herself down from a long strand of webbing till she landed on the floor. She smirked under her mask as she started sneaking through the warehouse.
