A man rolls to a stop, traffic in New York City was at a stand still yet again. He had no idea why he even bothered with a car. But he was a transfer from the MidWest and he loved his old Toyota. He got it when he graduated College but perhaps it was time to send the old girl on her way. He patted the dash affectionately before noticing a flood of people running past him. The were running away from where he was headed, he hated this city. He was about to scan the news when he saw what they were running from. Rounding the corner was a massive 100 Foot Robot, the like he'd never seen before. Sure he'd seen a few of the old Sentinels when they came looking for his childhood friends but this was entirely different. He quickly tried to get out, old Toyota be damned it was insured. The robot began firing blasts from its various hands at the fleeing people.
Meanwhile T'Shan was relaxing in a local bar with Skugga and a group of women around him. He'd just downed his 30th mug of beer when his communicator beeped. Ginnie, James and SHIELD had been throwing around a concept of a special communicator for him. One that needed his specific skills, well strength, to defeat. He did want to be known as more than just a guy who hit really hard, but being the alleged Norse God of Strength, it was hard to look past that. After all he had maxed out all conventional and even a few unconventional means to test him with. He heard a rumor from a few Asgardian guards his father was trying to track down Infinity to see if T'Shan could lift it.
But hearing the communicator he kissed a couple of the women on the cheek, grabbed his axes and Skugga took to the air followed by T'Shan. Luckily he wasn't too far away, just needing to go from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Holding the axes allowed for limited flight but it was still awkward, not as good as Mjolnir. But he had years to get used to that, he'd only had the axes for a few months.
As he landed on a roof SKugga landed on his shoulder and the two looked at the robot. T'Shan however smirked as he tilted his head, examining it. The warrior and son of the God of War began examining it, looking for weaknesses. There weren't many it was well designed. No, this wasn't Gizmo's, his were much more grand and elaborate. This was actually designed to be functional not just 'awewas.some looking', even though it kinda was. It wasn't THE robot T'Shan always wanted to fight but it was top 5 easy.
'Alright T'Shan. You need a plan. Perhaps focus on the ankles, topple it and...'
"I am going to punch it in the face."
'Why do I bother?'
"I know, right?"
He asked with a laugh before placing the axes back in the sheathes on his back as Skugga flew over to a light and perched on it.
'Is there any chance you'll ever listen?'
"Given my life span most likely. Ginnie says that is statistics."
He jumped into the air and landed on the shoulder of the robot. He pulled back and prepared to punch to robot only for it to fire an energy blast from its mouth. T'Shan landed on what used to be a Toyota with most of his clothes burned and destroyed. Skugga meanwhile flew down and perched on the nearby car.
'Any chance you'll listen to me now T'Shan?'
T'Shan groaned and sat up, brushed some car debris and burned clothes off of him.
"Nope. If I cut it down it falls into these buildings. I need to lure it to the bay area where it is less likely to harm bystanders."
'You do have a plan....'
"Why are people always surprised by that?"
T'Shan got up and grabbed what used to be the car he'd landed on and threw it at the robot. It bounced off but the robot's attention. it let out a roar and T'Shan jumped up and drove his fist into the robot's jaw. The robot flew down the street and landed in the middle of an intersection. T'Shan meanwhile landed with a roll in between some cars following the punch. He began to run, moving as fast as he could only for the robot to direct all six hands at him and fire an energy blast. When it cleared T'Shan was nowhere to be seen. He was however laying in the middle of what used to be a coffee shop smoking and his clothes further destroyed.
"Ow....that is beginning to hurt."
He said from beneath a pile of rubble that was once a wall, tables, chairs, over priced art and coffee mugs.
