~6 hours earlier~Great... Another dead end , Jakkara stepped out of the quinjet onto the platform were it was parked. He had been following a lead thinking he could find his sister in the Savage Lands but alas , no sign of her being there. He sighed as he pressed a button on the device located on his wrist that changed his Wolf suit to look like a simple pair of jeans and T-Shirt. Part of him was desperate to sleep but he knew that he won't be able to close his eyes like this. These last couple of weeks he had become more and more obsessed with finding his sister , mainly because he couldn't seem to get any closer. Damn it why was she so elusive? "Morning Jarvis.""It's afternoon in this time-zone, sir."Jak nodded to the AI system and smiled awkwardly, it was obvious he was too wrapped up in his thoughts. He continued walking in the direction of his room. In a matter of moments he reached his room and walked through the door , he immediately placed his Kimoyo card on his desk and while mumbling to himself pressed against it a couple of times before a hologram of the planet Earth showed up. "Back to work I guess."
~Fast forward to this moment~ Jakkara was still standing in virtually the same spot as before, little progress being made other than things he had written down thinking that it would be the next lead only to throw it away seconds later.. Another dead end. He was getting more and more stressed as his optimism kept going down , he didn't like to admit it but it felt like he was just chasing dead ends and not getting any closer. How could someone who prides himself on his intelligence be sent on a wild goose hunt? He sighed as he went for another idea.
"Show me the sattelite pictures from this specific location."
He spoke to no one in particular as he typed in the coordinates of an island they visited when they were still young. But for as far as he could see there was no one on the island, better yet it looked like no one had been there for years. Suddenly Jakkara felt a sensation of hopelesness running through him his mind rushed and he had trouble focusing. A feeling of rage overcame him and while cursing a mixture of Wakandan and English he wiped everything from his desk and grabbed his desk flinging it to the side. Breathing heavily he suddenly noticed a heartbeat and a very familiar scent he swiftly turned around and with a shaky voice and body muttered.
"I... I'm terribly sorry I... I don't know what happened. May I ask, why are you here?"
Note: Hope this is good enough

Aileen honestly couldn't say how she felt about their latest teammate. She prided herself on being friendly and open to people she didn't know, sure, and if he'd been a reserve Avenger, she'd have been welcoming him aboard. The Avengers was a large organisation dedicated to protecting America, they needed backup. But the Avengers, the ones who were in magazines and who Aileen trusted with her life, consisted of her, Ginnie, T'Shan and James. Rupert as well, technically, but he was there in the background, more to help Ginnie than anything else. And besides, she'd known Rupert for years thanks to their mutual friend. Those were the people she trusted. Those were the people she considered her team.
Jakkara, she was sure, was nice, and loyal, and brave, and skilled. But he was a total stranger to her, and he didn't get on with T'Shan. If he'd been a reserve Avenger, she'd have definitely been happy getting to know him. But if him being there upset her friend, well, she'd be more hesitant. Still, friendly, open, welcoming. The things she was best at. Just normally she didn't feel weirdly like somebody was trying to get into her club.
Maybe she just needed to talk to him. Get to know him. That'd help. She just didn't understand why she was feeling so reserved about it. She loved meeting new people, it was one of her favourite things to do. But, well, it felt like she was pushing herself with Jakkara. Still, she was good at it, she was sure she could make it work this time. Slightly reluctantly, Aileen forced herself off of the sofa she was bingeing Big Brother on and made her way upstairs. It crossed her mind that maybe wearing something more than the shorts and t-shirt she'd been sleeping in might be appropriate, but if he couldn't handle her lounging around the place in her PJs, this was just not going to work.
As she made her way up the stairs, Aileen could hear voices. Well, one voice. Raised. Was he having an animated conversation with himself, maybe? And then there was a crash, and she cleared the next five steps in one jump and kicked his door open, her eyes scanning the room. "The hell was that?" She asked him, seeing his desk in the corner. As he asked why she was there, she took a second to think of her answer. "Well I was coming up to talk, but then it sounded like somebody was trying to kill you up here. Got a bit more urgent. You okay?"

Jakkara was visibly shocked as the archer stated her worries, he quickly tried to recompose himself but felt a feeling of guilt. It wasn't like him to just lose himself but he was so frustrated and felt hopeless. "My apologies.. I am okay it's just..." He pointed to his desk and dropped his shoulders a bit. "It's like she vanished.. My sister, she has turned rogue and is plotting against my cousin and I have been looking for her without rest for more than a day now. I hope you can forgive me for scaring you like that."
Despite disliking royalty affairs Jakkara was still a prince and was raised as such so he knew how to be polite and proper and would usually resort to it if he was not particularly close with a person. He walked over to his desk and lifted it up putting it back to his place. He grabbed the items that had fallen to and put them back not bothering to check if they had sustained any damage, there would be time for that later. "Please do come in, make yourself at home."
He walked over and grabbed two chairs placing one for Aileen and one for himself. "By the way, thank you for your worries but what was it that you wanted to talk to me about? I hope everything is okay?" He flashed a quick smile hoping to move on from the awkward moment that had just happened and gestured to the mini-fridge in the corner. "I almost forgot, is there anything you would like to drink? I don't have much but I bet there is something you would like."

Well, of the ways to be introduced to somebody, this was one of the more unorthodox, and maybe it wouldn't do wonders for Aileen's initial impression of Jakkara, but it wasn't like people with issues and unusual ways of dealing with them were new for the Avengers. They all had their troubles, and they all had their own....quirks, to say the least. So she'd hold out on the judgement until she was given something else to base it on, although she'd hope he refrained from trashing the room too often. The desk would probably thank him more than anyone else.
Aileen raised her eyebrows as he talked about his sister. Well, that was an...unexpected problem. She could relate at least partly, given how her cousin Rachel was, but she wasn't going to just tell him that off the bat. "Damn," She said, "And here I was thinking you'd just been rejected on an online dating sight or something." She paused. "Your cousin? T'Shan? Or Ada?" Another pause. "Sorry, S'Fada." She had to remember not everyone was as used to her being friends with the queen of Wakanda as the other Avengers were. Either way, she was bristling at the thought. "'Cause tell her that if she tries, I will wring her neck myself."
Okay, maybe that wasn't the best way to go about handling this. "Uh, I mean, all respect to your sister and all, but nobody's hurting either of them." It was an awkward line to straddle, but she had to both avoid offending him and make sure he knew that she would personally kick his sister up and down New York City if she tried.
Trying to keep this some semblance of normal, Aileen took the seat she was offered, although she was still wary now. "I'm fine with just some water," She told him. Later, she'd probably drink something more exciting, but she wanted to keep her wits about her for now. Drunk Aileen was a fantastic second impression. It was absolutely not a good first impression, especially not with a future teammate.
