”As long as it’s not with meat, it’s fine. I’m thinking Robin-pancakes might not be Kosher.” Cassie wouldn’t deny that the rescue part of this was far less fun than the goon-smashing but she’d rather not have someone she’d just met- especially if that someone was very simply awesome- smashed against concrete.
Cassie didn’t really understand that nod, but she got the running around and probably wanting a distraction.
”And miss the action? No thanks.” It didn’t take her long to gather that she only meant taking him a short distance, and that that was so she could make a clean shot. Well, now was the time to enact her little scheme. She charged forwards, keeping her morphed wings close to her sides in an attempt to get him into the air by a means other than being tossed. She’d only taken a couple of steps before Enrique went rolling backwards. Well, that was better than relying on her flying constantly.
”But what happens to the ones he can stop? Cassie asked, eyeing the hole. Oh well, there wasn’t too much point in questioning that right now. They had to make an offensive or they’d inevitably be overwhelmed by the back-up. She’d probably been through this thought before, but it was a miracle that they had survived this long. They had no chance if more turned up, surely.
Sighing slightly at what was indisputably going to result in some serious failure, Cassie made now for the man where he lay. She didn’t have much of a plan, only “hit him a few times”, if that counted. Hopefully someone with a clue of what they were doing would get there before she made a total fool of herself.
It made sense that Cassie moved first though, judging from that energy blast. She was fairly sure she was the only hyper-durable one there, and thus she’d have to be taking any hits. She doubted the others would fare too well from being hit by that. She doubted she would either, but she had the best chance at it.
(OoC: I think I understood that correctly…)

Roxy drew two shuriken and held them in her fists, ready for a fight. She watched as Enrique was sent rolling backwards from a strong kick. She used the opening and attacked from behind. Right after he fired an energy blast she charged and jumped up delivering a series of kicks to his back. She landed and aimed to sweep his feet out from under him. Instead he grabbed her ankle and picked her up. He threw her at Cassie but Roxy managed to right herself.
"I'm giving you an opening She-Hulk!"
She yelled before keeping her cape down to shield Cassie from any attack or sight. She managed to turn and flip over Cassie, throwing her two shurikens and hitting the guy in the shoulders. He groaned as one made it between the plates and he staggered back. She landed on the other side of her sliding before turning around. She'd given them an opening, now they just needed to take it. Her ankle was slightly tender where he'd grabbed it but she'd manage. She also knew that she didn't have time to concern herself with that. Primarily because the guy was still a serious threat. Or at least he would remain one as long as he was upright and conscious.
So far though they were doing pretty well. Maybe this whole team thing would actually work out for her. She'd never really thought she would be a good team mate or work well in a group, but she did. Apparently things were going better for her than she thought they would. But coming from the streets of Gotham she wasn't entirely sure just how good she'd be. She still wasn't fully settled on the hero aspect, but she was trying.

Enrique was about to step in when he saw Roxy get grabbed and thrown. But he soon realized she was in complete control. He watched her spin in mid air and saw her create both a shield and distraction for Cassie in order for her to get the drop on the big guy. He was staggered from the shuriken. Enrique realized now was the time to act. Mainly because his back was currently to Enrique. But he'd need to go quick in order to not have either of them killed.
"Diosa verde! Go high!"
He yelled. The guy was likely trying to figure out how to take all three of them out. Enrique could hear the suit charging again, the fact it needed time to charge was something they could exploit, provided they lived that is. But Enrique had a good feeling about this. He figured if she went high and hit him and he went low they could send him tumbling. He waited till she was in position and surge forward in a burst of speed. He aimed his shoulder at the back of the guy's knees/lower thighs. If timed right the guy would be sent flipping through the air. Either way, as long as he was off his feet he was ok.
It wasn't an ideal plan, since full on assaults rarely are. But he was making due with what he had. Which was a powerful Hulkling, his super speed and an archer with no arrows and limited weapons. But it was three to one, odds were in their favor. Provided they took him out and got out of there before more back up came. The theory was sound though. Hit and move, hit and move, it was their best option against something like this.

Cassie took a small step forwards towards the scene as she saw the guy taking Robin down. She was seriously worried for the other girl, trying to step in as, essentially, a meat-shield. But the last man was already throwing her away. That made her no less concerned, but at least heading in Cassie’s direction she could catch her or something before she flew over the edge. Apparently that wasn’t necessary.
”Taking the opening, She-… Robin?” It was probably bad that she couldn’t think of a good equivalent term quickly. That just sounded stupid.
Cassie probably didn’t need Roxy’s shielding attempt. Kree skin- even just part-kree skin- was in her mind plentifully more durable than a piece of loose cloth. She didn’t have time to comment that it was a waste of energy, however, before Roxy had already moved away and on with her attack. It was indisputably impressive. That was great aim, even at fairly short distance.
Cassie nodded slightly at Enrique’s order. She didn’t like it, but right now that was their best method to take him down.
”Quick question; why are we taking down the crazy armoured guy when we could be getting the fuck away?” It was shocking that she had only just thought that. If they had the weapons already, there wasn’t much argument for them having to defend citizens or anything like that, and it was better they survived to report to a proper super-team than died if Enrique’s idea failed, right?
Cassie went for a blow against the man’s upper chest, as cued by Rapidos, fairly central although slightly over to his left. From what she saw it looked as though their timing was correct- and even if it wasn’t, her smack to the chest was going to at least wind anybody even through the armour. She naturally morphed out her claws- short but sharp on each finger of the hand that hit him- and they did little more than scratch through the armour, but that was maybe not a surprise as kree claws weren’t really ever a serious weapon.
Hopefully, however, they had made the timing, and she could certainly feel him bend under her arm a little, which should make either of the others’ next shots more effective regardless- most people would be an easier target if they weren’t quite properly balanced, surely.

The guy was taken by surprise and it working perfectly. She had never been a huge fan of taking orders but a good idea was a good idea. Plus she'd sort of instigated it which wasn't so bad as overtly taking orders. She wasn't the type to blindly follow. That was what her father had wanted. Some sort of mindless powerful mutant slave. Well he hadn't gotten any of that. She was strong, independent, rebellious and very much human. But Roxy was happy, happier than she had been with her original so-called parents. She was with people now who actually seemed to like her and let her be herself. Not to mention her new parents loved her and encouraged her in everything.
She watched the two of them try and take out the big guy and began quickly examining her belt. Her quiver had been empty for sometime, her bow was pretty much useless against him, also on the other side of the roof. She had a few smoke pellets, a handful of shuriken, two birdarangs and her emergency grapple gun. She could make due with this. She watched intently as the man flipped in the air and landed on his stomach. He began to try and get up before an idea formed in her head. She fired her grapple gun and the claw latched onto his already injured shoulder. She ran towards the edge of the roof and jumped off. She fell through the air as the man was pulled along the roof. He tried to stop himself before his head was driven into the edge of the roof cracking the brick. She landed calmly on the roof and let the hook unlatch.
"You two coming or what? Oh, and She-Hulk, try and grab my bow please."
She said grabbing her remote and calling her R-cycle to her which was still nearby in the alley.

Cassie had a good point. They probably should retreat and call in the bigger guns. But retreating had never been Enrique's style. Especially since leaving him alone meant leaving someone extremely dangerous with no one to stop him. Not to mention he was bound to be quite angry as well, and looking to unleash some aggression on an innocent city. That was not something he could even live with, it wasn't an option simple as that. Luckily, Cassie seemed willing to go with the plan. Enrique waited, buying his time and then surged forward going as fast as he could in this short of a distance. He caught the man right in the back of the thighs as Cassie hit him in the chest. The man went flipping through the air, landing on his stomach.
"Hermosa, mi diosa verde."
He said as he examined their work. But then the guy began to stir, trying to get up. What would they need to do to put him down? He was already tired and he knew the longer they waited, the more likely back up could come. Just as he was formulating a plan though he saw a grappling gun latch onto the guy and begin pulling him towards the edge. He winced slightly as he saw his head slam into the edge and the cracks begin to form.
"Sí, está fuera de servicio por una buena..."
He said nodding his head before moving over to the edge in a blur. There he saw Robin calmly putting away her grapple gun before asking if they were coming. He couldn't help but laugh before looking over at Cassie.
"She's right, we need to get out of here."

Cassie was clearly not as concerned about destruction as Enrique was. Sure, she’d rather there not be any, but her priority was getting out of there alive before stopping the guy; a course made even more sensible in her eyes based on the existence of more experienced heroes, some of whom had to be reasonably close-by.
Cassie snorted very slightly at the man’s collision with the wall. She would have out-right laughed to see the same guy face that had she not presently been within very close range of him should he recover faster than expected. As it was, she was still having to fight it down, despite the danger.
Cassie grabbed Robin’s bow as instructed- even if she hadn’t outright stated that she wanted it, it would be best for them to have some sort of projectile weaponry to cover their backs should anyone pursue, assuming Robin had some sort of cache of arrows somewhere reasonably nearby. It seemed a reasonable assumption given that she hopefully was a member of the bat-family and they always seemed to have a contingency. She pulled it a little clumsily over her left arm and to the shoulder, like she’d seen some archers on TV do, but with notably less finesse.
”Wait, you guys are both supporting my plan? I’m getting better at this, clearly.” Cassie was unlikely to admit that she couldn’t perform anything like hulk jumps without actually taking that form, so she just had to run over to the edge normally. ”Either that or everyone else is getting worse.” She hurdled over the wall in what was clearly parkour done by a complete novice- she caught the toe of her shoe slightly on the brickwork- and lowered herself down to where the others were. She was careful to use her right arm in the manoeuvre to not risk damage to the bow, however.
She pulled the bow back off of her arm and handed it over to Robin. ”I really hope you’ve called your bike, ‘cos I can’t fly you away fast enough to avoid Head-banger for long.”

Roxy stood there calmly, waiting for the other two to join. She pulled her cape around her and waited patiently. Why she had to wait for a Hulk and a speedster was beyond her. But it gave her time to take in her surroundings. So far it seemed quiet, which was good. The last thing she wanted was another wave. So either that was all they had or Intergang pulled their resources, realizing they were wasting too many things on three young heroes. Hopefully that meant they were in the clear for now. But of course Roxy knew that luck was certainly not something she could often count on.
"Well She-Hulk it makes more sense than waiting around for more to show up. We took out the main ones, we ensured that they knew not to run guns in this town, for now. But now they know what they're dealing with. The last thing we need are some black market Justice Busters or Hulk Busters showing up. We are definitely not up to that level."
She said nodding her head. Then right after she asked her bike came rolling up. She watched as She-Hulk gingerly climbed down and waited for Rapidos to join them. Whether or not they'd all go the same direction was another story. She kinda hoped she could get more work done without her leader, but he was occasionally useful. She opened a hidden compartment on the bike and pulled out a handful of arrows, placing them in the quiver on her hip. She then grabbed a couple more shuriken and bird-a-rangs and restocked her belt just in case.
"Oh, I think he won't be getting up anytime soon. Pretty sure he still hasn't moved since smashing his head into the ledge. So I wouldn't be concerned about him."
Sure his armor was good but with the momentum she used on him he should be down for awhile.

Enrique had no means of helping Cassie down. He wasn't like the other speedsters who could make arm tornadoes or something like that. All he could do was be there to catch her if need be. He couldn't help but laugh lightly at Roxy's reaction to everything. She may not be an official Bat but she certainly behaved like one. A certain aloofness that allowed her to come off as someone who cared so little for anything else that she'd move on and like what she'd done was so minimal that it was no big deal at all. Either way he knew it meant it was a good thing to have her on his side, she'd be very useful. In a blur he ended up on the sidewalk next to Roxy and watching Cassie.
"Si, however I don't want to test that theory. We need to get out of here anyways. One of the first rules of heroics, leave before the police show up."
He said with a smile. He adjusted his hood and already sirens could be heard in the distance. Likely Intergang had paid off some of the cops to ignore calls but either one got through or they simply couldn't ignore the volume of calls.
"We're not sure what side the cops are on, let's go ladies."

”I never said we should do that, but Rapidos has super-speed and you have your bike, so we should have been able to make the get-away, a little earlier. Although obviously we had to thin the numbers.” They wouldn’t have stood a chance at getting away without at least thinning them out, and there was no denying that.
”I’m not concerned-… really. We can just smash him again, right? I’d just not rather if we can help it.” Smashing the guy would always be fun, but those beams were clearly powerful enough to tear straight through her, and given that Robin had expended a full quiver of arrows, she had used up a good amount of energy on shifting, and she dreaded to think how many calories Rapidos had already burned, maybe doing that right now was a bad idea.
Now way would Cassie allow that however. At least she didn’t fall over. She doubted that Enrique would have been strong enough, anyway.
I thought that was supervillainy. And, the very first for heroism was “make sure you wear a sports bra.” For ladies, at least. Police get aways are easy to deal with, painful backs are not.” Why so many of the previous generation’s ladies had seemed to skip this vital step was simply beyond her. Anyway, she made her way over to Robin’s bike. She might not want to admit it, but right now she was starting to get a little tired from all the shifting, and she’d far rather just take the lift than slow them down in a minute.
”Yeah, if they’re still good cops, I don’t want my criminal record catching up with me. Cops don’t tend to like the muscle guys. Or gals.” And then she grinned. ”Especially not the ones who’ve got the record to match the powers.” Maybe not a good idea to admit that to two titans, but she somehow doubted that would be their biggest thing to take away from this encounter, and it was out of her mouth before she’d thought about it.
(OoC: Sorry for any weirdness here, I wrote most of it while travelling so.... yeah.)

"She-Hulk, running is not exactly my style. Well unless it's like we did earlier, lure them somewhere to take them out on my terms."
She said with a smirk. She never was a fan of running, even when it was highly recommended. Which would explain the variety of bruises, cuts and scars she seemed to always have on her. But she was brash, stupidly brave and had no concept of backing down. She didn't understand why She-Hulk would want to however. She was tough and smart, so why run? Sure some of those weapons were risky, but still, not anything to be too concerned about, one would think. But then again maybe she simply wasn't that good of a fighter compared to her. Roxy pushed the thought from her mind, not wanting to dwell on it as dwelling usually caused problems.
"Back pain seems to always happen She-Hulk. But maybe that's just because I end up blocking too many shots with my back."
She said with a shrug before climbing on her R-cycle and starting it up. She shook her head, laughing lightly as Cassie brought up criminal records. Every hero had a criminal record of some sort. It was simply something that just came with their job. They had to do things that the police couldn't, or in most cases, wouldn't. WHich meant breaking and entering, assault and vigilantism.
"See ya back at the Tower Rapidos."
She said revving the engine up and taking off.
"Where am I dropping you off at She-Hulk?"
She wasn't exactly trying to get rid of her, but she did have other things to do still.

As Cassie mentioned the first rule about heroics being support he couldn't help but laugh slightly. While he, and other male heroes, had questioned the costumes of some of their female counterparts, they also weren't arguing either. But she did bring up a good point.
"Well support and protection is always key. We'll call it the second rule."
He said with a light laugh. But he was glad the thing was settled, not only that, they had a potentially new recruit. Sure her desire to run was an issue but that could be remedied. Especially since she fought when it was needed. So there was a fighter in there somewhere, it was just a matter of getting it out of her. It wouldn't be easy, but he was up for the challenge. He watched as Roxy and Cassie got ready to leave.
"Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar mi diosa verde."
He said to Cassie with a wink and a smile. He then turned his attention to Roxy.
"And Robin, try to stay out of trouble, or at least away from, Intergang for the rest of the night."
He said with a laugh. He didn't know Roxy well, which was an issue he had. But she'd only recently joined, thanks to Lydia. He trusted her though, so if she said Roxy could be trusted then so be it. However, she was also a wild card. She seemed mostly new to heroics and had a chip on her shoulder. Then again, what hero didn't have some issue or another? It was kinda how things seemed to go for them. He watched as Roxy took off into the night and then quickly caught up to the R-cycle.
"Till we meet again ladies."
He said nodding his head before veering off in a blur. (Exit Enrique)

”Well, I’m always up for luring… almost always up for luring tactics. But against impossible odds, I’m up for just normal running too.” She had to correct her first idea on a slightly more considered thought.
Very simply, getting pulverised was not Cassie’s idea of fun. Sure, the end result of a face-off was no-where near as great if it was dead set, but she’d at least like to have a chance, and, frankly, against intergang, she didn’t. She had no serious training- and her natural skills looked ridiculously pathetic next to someone as well trained as Robin.
”They can still be reduced. It’s worth a try for everyone. Besides, you could just stop taking shots to the back.” Cassie grinned slightly at Enrique’s reaction. ”Second rule sounds more reasonable.”
Cassie would take a lot of work to get to join the Teen Titans. She was up for having a lot of team-mates, but she somewhat doubted they’d appreciate her moral coding; and theirs was boring.
”Uh… Well, my first thought is anywhere with food, but then you probably need to do other stuff after, so that’s out unless you’re up for a change of plans. How ‘bout somewhere near the North edge of the city?” It didn’t really make a huge difference to her where, but she would at least prefer for them to be far away from any chances of meeting any intergang members again.
Cassie just nodded at Enrique’s line. She had no idea what he meant but she leaned in close to Robin to hear this. ”You have any idea what he said? I don’t know about you but the Spanish seems kinda annoying. It’s not like I’m speaking Skrull at him.”
She watched Enrique catch up to them, and couldn't deny she was a little impressed by it. She'd seen it a million times, but she still loved when speedsters did that.

As they drove she glanced over at her shoulder and smiled lightly.
"Food sounds good. I'd just need to change first. I know a nice little diner near the North edge."
She said before quickly veering right and heading down an alley. The fighting had made her hungry. Plus she had the added benefit of an alter ego, she didn't really exist. There was no legal papers on her as she was technically an illegal alien. Sure Roxanne Sage might be the daughter of Huntress and Question, but she'd only existed a few years. Roxanne duParis was still listed as either dead or MIA in Genosha. She never bothered to look into it but was likely listed as dead. Any chance for Exodus to purge himself of the stain that was his human daughter. She still looked forward to going to Genosha and arresting him once and for all. Of course he was protected by an army and was one of the most powerful psychics of all time, second only to the Grey's and maybe Xavier.
"I have no idea what he says, never learned Spanish. He always does it though, so I've kinda learned to ignore it. However at the same time, never agree just in case. You'd probably be stuck going on a date or something else with him."
She said shaking her head. She swerved around cars and ran red lights. She'd never been the type who follows most laws, especially on her R-cycle. She liked to think she was above the law. Well, maybe not above the law, but not exactly applying to it per say. After all she was a hero, she had to break the law on a regular basis just to deal with big time criminals. She soon pulled up to a small diner with burnt out letters on the sign.
"Trust me, better than it looks."
She said parking her bike near the back of the lot.
"I'll meet ya inside."

”Sounds fine by me.” Cassie really hadn’t expected that to be taken up so easily, but she had no complaints. She paused only slightly before her advice: ”Eyes on the road, Robin. I trust you driving through what you can see, but waiting for your surgery if you crash just sounds boring.” Her grin more than matched Roxy’s smile.
”I’ll bear that in mind. I mean, he’s cool and all, but I have eyes on a cuter guy…. s?” She realised once she’d already made her comment that maybe mentioning she had a crush on a known criminal to a member of the Teen Titans was a bit dumb. Her correction was probably no better, really, and to most eyes there wouldn’t be much need for it.
Cassie raised an eyebrow sceptically at Robin’s assertions of the quality of this diner.
”It had better be.” Cassie said as she hopped off the bike. She took a second just to stand, before she turned and started off in the right direction. ”Look for a version of me that’s not green.” She called over her shoulder. It wasn’t exactly a big parking area, and it wasn’t crowded, so the chances were that she’d be obvious anyway as being someone actually within the diner. Cassie seamlessly shifted to her usual form, dropping the one which she had taken previously between two lights roughly half way across the lot. Her suit morphed with her, to far more casual gear; just jeans and a nicely formed blue t-shirt. She pushed the door open and headed inside, barely waiting for anyone to pay any attention to her as she entered. Instead she headed straight over towards one of the tables at one end. Cassie slipped onto one of the seats and sat down, looking around at the diner. Well, it was at least better than the exterior. Admittedly, that wasn’t particularly hard.
There were more people than she had expected, but it was hardly over-populated. Cassie placed herself so she was looking out at the other people, casually observing and hopefully recognisable to Robin.
