Screaming could be heard for miles and that was T'Shan's cue to check it out. He didn't know what was happening but knew it was likely something big. It seemed like every couple of days there was some threat or another that was goiung after the city. Terrorists, criminals, aliens, mole people, always something. T'Shan 'flew' from building to building using Mjolnir as Skugga followed close behind. He came to a skidding stop on a roof and began to twirl Mjolnir as he examined the site before him. It was a giant robot. T'Shan stood there examining the spider like robot. Interesting design, familiar as well. It was definitely someone he'd faced numerous times before. "Show yourself Gizmo!" 'I hate that name!'Said a small man hovering nearby with a jet pack. "And I hate being disturbed on my day off. It seems neither shall get what he wants." He said before backing off and running. He jumped into the air, aiming Mjolnir at the head of the robot. But before he could land a blow one of the robot's arms came flying from the side and sent T'shan into the side of a building. He left an imprint of his body before crashing down to the street. 'The Scion has fallen, the Scion has fallen!'One person yelled before running away. T'Shan sat up, shaking debris from his hair and standing up. "I am not defeated, not yet." The axe hand swung down towards T'Shan who delivered a blow with Mjolnir knocking it aside. T'Shan climbed onto the axe and began to run up the arm. He jumped and drove Mjolnir onto the head of the robot. The robot staggered before firing an energy blast from the 'eyes'. T'Shan crashed to the street and pressed the call button on his communicator. He'd definitely need back up, as much as he hated admitting it. The leg came down to squash him and T'Shan dropped Mjolnir, catching the foot and holding it in place. "I am ready to accept your surrender...." He said, struggling to keep it from crushing him. Aileen had already been on the way to the disturbance, but taking a while because she couldn't get a bus to the scene of a massive disturbance, when she felt and heard her communicator go off. She looked at it. So T'Shan had already gotten there. She was kinda hoping to see whatever it was lying on the floor with a nice Mjolnir shaped dent in it, but she was rarely that lucky. There was more wreckage and rubble the closer she got, but thankfully she hadn't seen any bodies. Which didn't mean there weren't any, just meant she couldn't see them.
She was in her full costume this time, kevlar-lined outfit and the mask. Made a nice change from the last times she'd been out, where she'd ended up rushing and not having time to put the mask on. She liked her costume, it just felt right when she was wearing it. And given the level of disturbance she'd seen, she'd packed heavy. She had two of each trick arrow, but she was beginning to wonder if she should have brought another explosive arrow or something. She didn't know what she was going to be fighting, after all. Seeing as she could tell she was close, she loosened an arrow in her quiver.
The scene she saw when she arrived, however, wasn't the most positive one. "You need a hand, T'Shan?" she asked, "I mean, not that I don't like you on your back, but you look like you're in trouble." She pulled an EMP arrow from the quiver, fumbling, and notched it. She could maybe disable one of the robot's legs with a well-placed shot.... It probably said something about her line of work that a giant robot didn't faze her any more. Sure, it was never something she wanted to see, but you just had to put up with that sort of thing.
Aileen had realised that it probably wasn't the best idea to try and fight this from the ground, so as soon as she could verify that T'Shan wasn't in immediate danger, she'd take to the roof of one of these buildings. Or what was left of them. It took her a few seconds to notice the guy with the jetpack? "This our guy?" she asked T'Shan, changing targets with her bow

As Aileen showed up he found himself relieved that he had back up. Of course she wouldn't have been his first choice. He would've preferred Captain America or Ginnie. They had strength and were good combatants, for Midgardians. But he would make due with her. He didn't know what good she'd be. After all if the tiny man had designed this creature to defend itself against Mjolnir he wasn't sure what good an arrow would do. Then again he might've been so focused on blunt strength that he wouldn't prepare for something so tiny.
"Aye, we can discuss the merits of who looks good in what positions later Archer. For now I would very much appreciate some assistance."
Skugga perched on an over turned car beside Aileen.
'Your name offends me. You have no eyes of a hawk. However I may need to rely on your....BASIC skills to ensure T'Shan doesn't get himself killed, today. What we're going to do is you fire your little toothpicks at this monstrosity while I distract the tiny man with the controller.'
Skugga thought to her before taking to the air. Skugga had a tendency to lack T'Shan's warm nature and usually told it like it was. Meanwhile T'Shan got one foot under the leg and used that extra strength to shove the leg off of him. He held his hand out and caught Mjolnir before throwing it at the underside of the robot. He caught Mjolnir on the rebound and managed to get to his feet. The robot had staggered slightly but prepared to bring his axe hand down.
"Don't aim for the joints Archer. After I ripped so many of his creations apart at the joint he strengthened them. Aim for several feet on either side of the joint."
He said as Skugga began dive bombing the handler. Without Gizmo's advanced control the bot would go back to basic settings, making it easier to defeat, hopefully. T'Shan ran towards Aileen, spinning Mjolnir. He put one arm around her waist and threw Mjolnir, the strap around his wrist, pulling them up. He landed on a roof and let her go.
"The body will be where the main circuitry is housed so it'll be too strong. Aim for the limbs and try not to be killed. Shoot well Archer, shoot well. After all we could easily be killed today. Isn't it exciting?"
He said before jumping off the roof, preparing to drive Mjolnir into the head of the robot. Skugga meanwhile was chasing 'Gizmo' around the surrounding blocks.

For the first time in what seemed like weeks, Virginia was actually at home trying to relax. She had even gotten some modicum of real sleep, too, something that she rarely seemed to be able to get. Now sitting in front of her television, she had been trying to watch a documentary when a sort of high pitched sounded, making her jump out of her seat. "Miss Stark, there seems to be a disturbance in lower New York in need of your assistance," came the semi-robotic voice of JARVIS filling her living room.
She was already on her way to getting her suit on when JARVIS explained what he was able to access off of globally positioned satellite feeds. To her, it just sounded like some techy hoping to one up true technological genius but the fact of the matter was that probably wasn't the case. She knew of T'Shan's little 'nemesis' and the man both intrigued and annoyed her to no end. Still, those were thoughts she quickly pushed to the side as the machines on the top floor helped her get into her suit and a large circular panel on the roof opened up for her to fly through.
She was already enroute when Ginnie heard her communicator go off. There was already members at the scene. Good, she wouldn't have to do this on her own, then, which was always a plus. Though it did make her feel like a somewhat lousy leader being late to the scene. Still, it wasn't long until she came to the scene, overhearing what Scion said to Hawkeye. "No one else will be dying today, Scion, that's what we're here for. To prevent that," she said, aiming a repulsor blast just above one of the back joints. "Scion, you know this man best, you should know where the chinks in his armor is. If you find it, rip it open, give Hawkeye an opening for an EMP," she added as an order.

"I'm holding you to that, Demigod," Aileen said with a grin, "We are having that discussion." But joking comments aside, there was a giant robot in front of them, and there were definitely better times for flirting. She turned her head and saw the hawk sitting on the car. That goddamn hawk. She couldn't even identify which species it was. "Always a pleasure to see you, bird," she said sarcastically in response to its insults. She wasn't sure where a bird got off on insulting her, but she wasn't about to argue that. She nodded, ignoring the insults, but digesting the information. "Distract the giant robot? Isn't that every girl's dream?" As the hawk flew off, she re-sheathed the EMP arrow, and was about to draw a cable arrow when T'Shan threw off the leg and ran towards her. She didn't even have time to comment before he grabbed her around the waist and propelled them towards the roof.
"Thanks," she said as she was set down, listening to the advice he gave. Either side of the leg joint, she could do that. "And you...hammer well." She didn't comment about it being exciting. Death was one thing she wasn't playful about. As he jumped to hit the robot again, she quickly notched another arrow, and loosed it, mainly to test the armour. The hit was good, and had it been almost anything else, the arrow would have stabbed through it, but whoever had designed this knew what they were doing. The arrow left a scratch, but nothing else. So chinks in the armour it was then. She pulled another arrow out, and was about to fire when she heard the voice.
"G- Iron Maiden," she greeted the other girl, correcting herself when she heard Ginnie using codenames, but her voice was still warm. She nodded at the orders, and made a mental note not to use her EMP arrows until T'Shan opened something up. "Got it, ma'am," she said only slightly sarcastically as she loosed another arrow, aiming for the side of the leg joint as T'Shan had recommended. It missed the chink, and bounced off the surface, but it was close. She then felt in her quiver again, and drew another arrow. She wasn't going to miss with this one. She stopped going for speed and held the bow close to her eyes, keeping them both open as she led the leg and lined up her shot. "Be a good arrow," she muttered as it flew towards the robot, and she grinned as an arrow suddenly sprouted from a gap in one of its joints. Hopefully she'd done some damage

"Holding? A topic also likely to come up."
He said with a light laugh in response to the conversation they'd be having later. He did always enjoy flirting with her, primarily because she could give back as good as he got. Of course nothing ever seemed to come of it. As for whose fault that was that was open for debate. Of course he hoped no one would bring it up primarily because he didn't want to try and answer it. As they landed on the roof he looked over at her and nodded his comment, primarily at his 'hammering'. Whether it was meant to be an awkward compliment or a strange method of flirting he wasn't sure. Then again he was never one too figure out complexity in speech. He found it easier to take things at face value, plus it allowed him to just go with the flow.
"Oh, you have no idea about my Hammering skills Archer."
He said with a wink before taking the fight to the robot. As he landed he drove Mjolnir into the head of the robot causing it to stagger lightly. It tried to recover as the servos did their best to recover from the jolt. He began to drive Mjolnir into the body randomlly as Iron Maiden showed up and began to give orders. They were good orders and something he was thinking of anyways.
"Aye, sounds good Maiden. However if you and the Archer are distracted by my rippling muscles as I rip it open try and keep your hands to yourselves."
He said with a laugh. He noticed the arrow imbed itself in the leg and the sky began to darken. There was a crack of thunder before lighting shot down to T'shan. He used Mjolnir to redirect it at the arrow, using it like a lightning rod. The leg flew off and rolled to a stop against a building. Meanwhile a heavy rain began to fall as the robot struggled to keep its footing loosing a leg.

That was one thing Aileen really appreciated about T'Shan. Well, aside from him being a lot of fun to flirt with, it was hard to stay scared by something like a giant robot when you were talking so casually with the hot alien nearby. But also the fun to flirt with thing. "You can bet your ass it'll come up," she said as she loosed another couple of arrows at the robot, but while they hit near the seams and joints, they just scratched its casing, "And don't get me started on your hammering, demigod, we'll be talking about that for hours." She grinned to herself and at Ginnie, the conversation just amusing her.
She was mainly just trying to distract the robot's attention with her arrows, although another one lodged in a somewhat unimportant join, as she was saving her EMP arrows for whenever T'Shan was able to rip the thing open. Then she'd fry its circuits. Aileen allowed herself to be impressed by T'Shan taking the robot basically one on one for a while, and also thankful he was keeping it distracted from her. She was trying to distract it as well, sure, but she wasn't like Ginnie or T'Shan, she couldn't take hits like that and keep in her feet. She'd been expecting to have to use her cable arrows and climb around to avoid it, but it was all but ignoring her as it fought T'Shan. Which was actually slightly offensive.
"I'm not making any promises, Scion," She called in response to his joke, still grinning, but then she looked genuinely impressed as the robot's leg came off. Well, she'd helped with that at least. And then it started raining. Well, that would keep the robot off-balance, but it wasn't great for them, either. It wasn't only dangerous to slip, it also looked really bad, and stupid as she thought it was, they were media figures, and they couldn't make fools of themselves. She felt in her quiver, and her hand closed over an explosive arrow. She wasn't saving this for anything special. She pulled the bow close to her eye again, and loosed.
Not for the first time, she was glad her bow used a waterproof fibre string. If it didn't, her arrow would have flown with all the force of a wet fart. With the fibre string, however, it flew beautifully and found a join perfectly. She counted down from three quietly, and then the arrowhead blew. It wasn't a big explosion, but it clearly did something to throw the robot off-balance

Cap looked down at the scene. He was tempted to join in, but James wanted to see how each member of the team functioned as a whole first. Hawkeye and Scion were wildcards and he considered this a test. He leaned against the edge of the roof and watched them fight the robot. The lenses in his mask focused on the man in the jetpack while his teammates tussled with the diabolical machine. Once Iron Maiden arrived on the scene, he was satisfied that the death machine would be taken down easily.
The comm array in James' uniform was allowing him to listen in on the conversation with his teammates. He didn't both keying his mic up just yet. The super soldier was just content to let Ginnie give the orders and take command. He snapped some photos and videos with the built in camera. He wanted to make a note of everyone's tactics so he could address it later. After a few moments, his eyes turned on Skugga harassing the man in the jet pack. James stood up from his position, flipping the impact webbing in his suit to active mode. He keyed the mic with pressure on his ear.
"Nice to see you guys left me a dance partner."
James took a tumble off the roof just as Gizmo flew under him and landed squarely on him, grabbing hold of the mad man. He felt the suit absorb and disburse the impact of collision through the web and he looked up at Gizmo. "I'm going to have to ask you to land on the ground and surrender yourself. Please. I'd rather not hurt anyone if I don't have to." The jet pack was bucking them both around rather harshly. Apparently, it wasn't designed to hold two people up. Go figure. "Preferably, either of us."

When she heard all the talk going on, there was a moment she wanted to fire her own blasts at the back of Scion and Hawkeye's heads. But instead, she said, "If you have time to flirt, you have time to hurt." Actually, that was quite catchy, even for her. She liked it. And she was sure it was an easy enough instruction for what seemed to be her currently mindless team. Okay, that was a mean thought, even for her. But there were far more important things to do than just flirt. Seriously, they would have plenty of time to flirt and try to get into each other's pants later.
She flew up and around what seemingly constituted as this contraption's head. It was actually put together pretty well. But every machine had flaws. She smiled under the helm of the Iron Maiden suit as she kept moving around it, trying to create an optical distraction for so the others had a chance to get their opening. A good wide spread repulsor blast here and there also helped. "JARVIS, i want you to use the suits sensors to analyze that contraption," she told the AI computer before she fired another blast. The visual display visor was already lighting up as it was trying to discern the robot's weak points and power sources. She didn't think that was too difficult for her 'friend' to find.
"And Scion, keep your comments about your supposed muscles to yourself. Had i ever wanted to touch them, I'm sure i would have by now." Wow, snappy much? She focused on her target though. Distractions should be easy, though she had once again considered having an accidental misfire. T'shan could take it, she knew that much. A visual flare blew up on her visor and Captain America's voice finally seemed to fill her ears. She didn't bother trying to see where the man had come from, she was just happy the rest of the team was there.
"It's good of you to finally show up, Cap," she said in response. She trusted that Captain America wouldn't let that small creep get away. He'd take him down and they would have him locked away. Although, until then... "Cap, as a back up, try and see if he has a control system for this thing on him. Might make clean up easier," she ordered him. Ever the bossy one, she was.
((This is blah and short and I'm sorry it took so long to do x.x))

As another leg blew off the contraption began to lose balance. This was going perfectly, but no doubt he had some sort of back up. His nemesis may be annoying but he was a genius. He had faced T'Shan enough to know that he needed to have at least one, if not several, levels of back up. He laughed lightly at Ginnie's comment and smirked lightly.
"Do not be jealous Maiden, we can flirt with you as well. Not to mention I am very skilled in multitasking."
He said before an arm sent him flying off the robot and into a third story office window. He rolled through some desks before a copier stopped him. He groaned and shook his head before standing up. Skugga meanwhile left Gizmo as Captain had taken control of him. He began dive bombing the contraption, its talons beginning to cut into the metal. T'Shan stood in the window, cracking his neck.
"Captain, be careful with him. He is not so simple as he looks. As for the controller he tends to have several back up programs within it, if not a self destruct function. In the meantime Archer, focus on the legs and arms. I got the head..."
He said jumping out of the window and calling Mjolnir to him. He then slammed it down right onto the head of the robot. It was enough to make the robot wobbly and leave a very noticeable dent while also cracking some of the glass for its eyes. A loud crack of thunder could be heard as lightning began to rain down on him and be directed at the arms. Meanwhile Gizmo landed in an alley with Captain still on his back.
'Got off me you imbecile!'
He said, tucking the controller under him, trying to keep it from Captain. T'Shan meanwhile threw Mjolnir down and took hold of the head of the robot. With a grunt and a groan he began to pull, ripping the head off.
"Father give me strength!"
He could feel his muscles straining against the metal as the robot's arms tried to get him. But apparently there was a design flaw and T'Shan was in a sort of blind spot for its arms. With a groan the head came free. He gave a victorious yell and threw the head at the axe handed arm, breaking it off.
"It seems to be weak against itself. Has he never seen The Incredibles!?"

Aileen grinned as another leg was blown off of the robot, sending it staggering again until it righted itself. For a giant robot, this one wasn't too tough. And by now its equilibrium had to be well off. She then snorted as she heard Ginnie's response to their flirting. It was almost a good phrase. "Sorry boss," she replied, although she didn't sound very regretful, "We'll uh, try to tone it down a bit." Although she did doubt the chances of that happening. Still, giant robot to focus on, maybe they should be a little more professional about this. She only had one more explosive arrow in her quiver, which she liked to save for a rainy day, so it looked like it was trying to damage circuity from the joints for her.
It probably took Aileen longer to notice than it should have done when James showed up, but then again he was always doing that. Showing up when she wasn't expecting it. It gave her the creeps. Well, he did on the whole, really. She hadn't exactly spoken much with him, and the whole assassin thing didn't sit too well with her. "Well it looks like we're all here," She commented as James threw himself at the robot's controller, "This thing doesn't stand a chance." She noticed the arm flicking towards T'Shan a fraction of a second before it hit, and loosed an arrow, but by then he'd been thrown through a window. "Scion!" She called, probably louder than necessary seeing as they could speak normally. She knew he'd be fine. She'd seen him take worse. But still, it looked like a bad hit, and she worried about her friends. The arrow she'd loosed had hit the arm and seemingly severed something. It was still working, and still looked pretty deadly, but it was moving a bit slower. Maybe next time T'Shan wouldn't fly so far through the building.
She breathed a sigh of relief as T'Shan stood up and started issuing instructions. She'd known he'd be fine, but she was still relieved, and that's probably why she didn't think too carefully about her next words. "We'll see that you get the head lat-" She began in a flirtatious tone of voice, and then paused, and thought about what she was saying. "I'm not going to finish that remark, as it's crude, even for me." Ginnie was probably thinking about throwing her to the robot herself for that. Aileen reminded herself to apologise to Ginnie later.
She smiled as T'Shan ripped the head off. He was definitely right about his muscles. And then as he broke the arm she'd damaged. "Who hasn't seen the Incredibles?" She asked, genuinely surprised.

"Oh, you know how it is. Traffic was lousy on the way over. And watch the orders, lady." James said into the comm. "I don't care how good looking she is..." He groaned and flipped the comm to mute. "Well, that'll be awkward later." James was fairly sure he'd regret most of that later. He'd pretty much just undermined Ginnie's leadership over the comm. Not to mention the other snafu. Cap needed to work on being more of a team player. Getting used to being more than a solo act was going to be time consuming.
There was a dawning realization that they were rather high up in the air. Luckily, the jetpack didn't like two passengers. As James and Gizmo made a hard landing in the alley. James smirked to himself. "Stayed on the full 8 seconds." James looked down at the mad scientist trying to hide the control unit. "I've been in keep away games with metahumans. What exactly are you trying for here?" Cap narrowed his eyes at the man he was clinging to. The options were playing back through his head. His immediate Winter Soldier reflexes told him to snap the man's neck and neutralize the threat. However, the rest of his training allowed him to analyze the situation coolly and calmly.
James settled for the easiest non-lethal option he could think of. He brought his hand up and attempted to smash Gizmo in the back of the head with his fist. The hope was that his slightly enhanced strength would allow him to render the mad genius unconscious long enough for him to get the controller and turn the robot off. His mic keyed on again. "One of the greatest animated movies ever made. Anyone who tells you otherwise, is a HYDRA agent in disguise."

She almost actually rested her head in the palm of her hand a moment. This team was a wreck, already she could see that. There was such little order and where she was trying to create order, she felt she was getting snark. She didn't need them to be so distracted with their flirting. "I don't quite care if you can multitask, Scion. An order is an order. Focus on the machine and when this is resolved, then you can have all the time in the world to be shameless with your teammate." She made sure to put an extra emphasis on that word: teammate. As if she needed to remind him that this was a team and not some one shop stop for a quick lay or something ridiculous like that. What disappointed her more was Aileen's insistence on prolonging the flirtatious actions. Could they please just focus? Just once. Honestly, it would make everything seem so much better if they could.
She continued to fire upon the contraption, grabbing it's attention. She felt she was a decent enough distraction. Giving the thing more than one object to try and focus on she hoped would spark some sort of bug in the programming and it would definitely give T'Shan the opening he would need. She was a happy when he got the head off of the thing and broke the arm that was trying to cut through her. She was lucky that this suit allowed for such quick maneuvering. What she didn't appreciate wasn't just the attitude that Captain America was giving her, something she was definitely going to have to address later, but the little comment he made after it. She was about to respond when she heard Aileen. She rolled her eyes underneath the helm and went back to trying focusing on the HUD display. 'Weak points locked on and targeted, Miss Stark,' came then nigh-electronic sounding voice of her computerized AI. Wonderful!
She pulled back and up a little, trying to get a full view of the metal monster before saying, "Activate Smart Missiles." A part of her shoulders rose up a little at an angle, readying themselves before a barrage of small missiles flew at the thing, targeting what JARVIS had hopefully correctly labelled as weaknesses, a few even ending up going right into where the head had once been. "Even I've seen The Incredibles, and i barely watch those Pixar movies. You'd think it would be a starting point for any incompetent trying to play hero or villain."
((This is quite possibly one of my worst posts as ginnie xD I do apologize))

"Oh do not worry Maiden. After this battle Archer and I shall be extremely shameless. I shall show her the benefits of a nearly limitless stamina."
He said with a laugh as the battle went on. T'Shan lifted his arm blocked any shrapnel coming from the missiles. He watched as the monstrosity lay there in nearly a heap, only a couple moving limbs. Gizmo meanwhile had been rendered unconscious, the control falling from his grip. He was no match for strength, brute or otherwise. Sure in a battle of wits he might have a shot, but in a fight not so much. T'Shan called for Mjolnir and it flew to his hand. He twirled it before using it to fly straight up. The clouds began to swirl before a massive bolt of lightning shot down into the opening where the head had been. The thing shook before laying in a heap of smoke and sparks. T'Shan followed it up by driving Mjolnir down onto it and standing on what was left of the robot.
"Victory is ours friends. Gizmo is defeated!"
'Not....uh....not my name...'
He groaned, trying to cling to consciousness and failing miserably. Skugga landed on T'Shan's shoulder and settled calmly.
'Why won't you let me eat the little maggot?'
"You know we do not do that Skugga. It is frowned upon and I suspect Maiden is angry enough as is."
He said before spinning Mjolnir and using it to fly up to the roof Aileen was on.
"You were very impressive Archer."
He said before wrapping his arm around her waist and jumping off the roof. He called on some winds to slow their descent and landed in a small crater. He set her down patting her on the butt and winking before turning his attention to Iron Maiden.
"What now leader?"

"Watch your mouth, Ca-" She began, but then cursed as he turned off his mic. She didn't like anyone talking to Ginnie like that, especially not someone like James. Sure, she enjoyed annoying Ginnie, but she knew when to cut it out, and she was never rude. And people being rude to Ginnie was something that pissed her off. But then T'Shan spoke, and a faint smile appeared on her face. Still, Ginnie had a point, and Aileen knew she'd be being rude herself to keep it up. "Down, boy," She said to T'Shan, trying to make herself sound serious, although the offer was definitely interesting, "I don't think the boss wants to hear about that. Sorry, boss." She felt like she owed it to Ginnie to apologise.
Aileen had more arrows readied, but it didn't look like T'Shan and Ginnie needed any help. Of course they didn't. They were a god and a genius in a tech suit. Between the two of them, they'd pretty much annihilated the weakened robot. It wasn't much more than a collapsed mess in a crater now. Oh well, it meant she didn't need to fire any more arrows. She still kept her bow out and an arrow loosed, in case there were any more surprises waiting. Against another robot, an arrow wouldn't do much good, but if the controller, Gizmo or whatever he was called, twitched, she'd be able to cause him a fair bit of bother. But the others seemed pretty confident that the fight was over. She was prepared to put her bow away to climb down, but then T'Shan was there, and he was pretty quickly wrapped around her and jumping off. Flying was a lot different to falling, but she trusted T'Shan to not accidentally kill her.
She was about to make a comment, but then she felt his hand tapping her butt. She playfully slapped his hand away, but it was accompanied by a smirk. "Save it for when the boss isn't around," She said quietly to him, still smiling. "And you weren't so bad out there yourself, Scion. You neither, Ginnie." She really needed to work on codename use. She looked at the wrecked robot. "Well...that was interesting."
