Celeste hadn't been prepared for what that night would hold. There were certain things no one can prepare for. Like SHIELD interference, for instance. How does someone trained to hunt and fight the big uglies of the night supposed to prepare for the possibility of a much bigger organization being involved? The saying 'always expect the unexpected' was even something she lived by. But this night would prove to be something not even she could have dreamed of.
But hey, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
How she had been led to this church, the informants who had contacted her still seemed to be shrouded in mystery. When she thought about it, that probably should have been the first clue that not everything about this job was really kosher. She didn't often get offered to be paid for retrieval of artifacts, though, and that little fact was probably why she had overlooked the obvious warning. It also didn't help that her natural curiosity had her wondering what could be so important that someone would want to pay her to get it for them. The questions that hsd presented themselves to her had the young woman far to interested to pass up.
The location she had been brought to was an old church falling apart on the outskirts of her own home city, Boston. Another reason she couldn't seem to pass up the opportunity to investigate. She was ready for a fight, that was for sure, armed to the teeth with stakes, holy water, her pistols, and her whip. She had considered bringing the guitar case and some charms as well but, considering that this was meant to be an easy retrieval job, she didn't see much point in going in over armed. Trevor, ebony, amd ivory would have been enough in her book really but one should always be prepared for leeches.
Of course, along with her weaponry, she also had her choker. Yes, a fashion statement might not always be necessary but the blood gem was much more than that. It was a source of power, an artifact in its own right but one she would never give up. And, with it, she was able to open that ever useful third eye to pay attention to the auras around her, both alive and otherwise.
She moved careful towards the back of the church, guns in her hands, as she tried to be careful to watch for movement, listen for it, catch onto a scent. Only one scent stung her nose, making her grimace as she entered the church. She made sure to be as quiet as a dormouse, being careful of traps that could tip something off. With the darkness of night shrouding everything, she knew she would have to rely on her aura sensing to see. That was an unfortunate advantage that the vampires would have over her but it was one she had been adapting to over the years. She was honestly hoping that the vampire scent was fresh, she wanted to make sure her blooded bullets didn't go to waste. But at the moment, nothing.
As she moved through the nave, she looked around. It was too quiet in her, to the point in which it was almost chilling to her. A shiver went down her spine as she caught her first sight of another aura. She twisted to face it, guns pointed right at the perpetrator. "Well, well, well, looks like the rats came back to their nest," she said with a smirk. Sure, not her usual puns, but hey, wit was much more than that. It was lame jokes, too.
((OOC; It took me long enough to get this up xD probably not my best work but i introduce to you the set up for our very own 'Howling Commandos'. Or, rather, 'Dark Commandos! Tag;; @sebastian; @knight))

Sebastian had heard rumors on the street about a church in Boston. Well a desecrated church, which meant that he could enter. Now being able to enter a church was novel and all, but that wasn't what he was interested in. Being part of the Church of Blood for so long gave him a sour taste in his mouth in regards to Churches. But something he was interested in was the fact a coven of Vampires had something in their possession, a chalice. The chalice could turn a wide group of vampires. Now he would never use it, unless he had to. But being able to create an army to take down whoever had his mom would be more than enough. He didn't truly care for vampires, they were evil stupid creatures who couldn't see the bigger picture. It was their kind that made him want to stop telling people he was a vampire at all and just go full Incubus.
Dressed as Brother Blood and being accompanied by Admiral Fluffy Paws he came to perch on top of the church. The sun was just setting and he was using the shadows to stay safe. He did a final check of his gear as he hid behind what was left of the cross on the top. He had his sword, throwing knives, silver knuckles and a few other items he might need for magic. He pulled his hood down over his face and readied himself, not sure how many vampires were inside. Either way he knew the Vampires were either still sleeping or groggy from sleep, meaning he might have a chance. He quickly shifted into mist and made his way through the cracks while Admiral Fluffy Paws followed through a window. He landed softly, drawing his blood saber off his back. He felt the familiar pricks in the palms of his hands as his blood fueled the sword, getting lighter.
He moved through the darkness, Admiral Fluffy Paws leading the way with his enhanced senses. Sometimes he hated not having those and knew he'd need to bite the bullet and ask some of the Titans to help design him a mask with thermal and infrared. But for now he was going to rely on Admiral Fluffy Paws. He made his way down a set of stairs and stopped dead.
'They're all dead Blood...'
"Well yeah..."
'No, dead dead. They've been....slaughtered. Bit, stabbed, shot, staked, burned, beaten, you name it they've felt it. I don't like this Sebastian....'
"But the chalice..."
'Out!'
Sebastian did as he was told and turned, going back up the stairs. He rounded a corner and came face to barrels with someone else. Quickly sliding back he held his sword out in front of him while Admiral Fluffy Paws disappeared into a little nook to hide.
"Is that how it is? You kill them and what? Frame me? Not happening sweetness."

Arthur was in complete disarray. Just a few minutes ago he got a message from one of his sources that a smug magician was gonna open the portal to hell thinking he would be able to control the demons that would flood through. This news meant that Arthur didn't have long and quickly got together all his equipment, However he wasn't able to put on his full armour in time, but he was able to put on his mail shirt and combat pants. Illusion magic would have to do and the concentrated holy water he spawned using the horn of Brân Galed and put into a Water gun. It might look silly caring it around, but hey demons really don't like holy water and the weaker ones will be severally injured and more easily sent back into the void they came from. Arthur was standing in the shadows of the entry of a breaking down church in Boston with his illusionary armour and satchel. Waiting to hear the death screams of the fool that thought he could control demons. Well that and Arthur always enjoyed fighting demons. They were on his list of things he enjoyed fighting because they fought with seemingly unlimited energy and with unnatural power that always challenged Arthur. Also on the list were the amazingly skilled League of Assassins as bred some powerful swords men and the Crazy Gang that always surprised Arthur for better or for worse, mainly for worse. The wait was starting to get to Arthur as no sound started coming from the old abandoned church, just the eery stench of death. Arthur was now worrying that somehow the magician had been able to put the demons under his will, which meant nothing good. Arthur made his way to the door and slowly opened it entering quietly making as little sound as humanly possible. The sight sickened him. While he couldn't see the full extent of almost all light was blocked out, say for the opening of the doors, but it so far looked like there was a massacre. He slowly entered the seeing several bodies littering the floors who would have suffered all manners of death. He saw wounds caused by guns, magic and swords and even some of the bodies seemed to have been ripped apart. Most people, without an iron gut, would have thrown up on the sight of this massacre, but Arthur had seen much worse and if anything was going to make him regurgitate his lunch it would be the smell. He slowly closed the door again and spoke an incantation to create some light. "I'm stuck in this dark place and evil site, and I would rather have with me a burning light" A small flicker appeared out of nowhere which turned into an orange flame that illuminated more of the scene laid in front of Arthur. Choosing to ignore the rest of the bodies on the pews he made his way to the Altar to find the culprit of this massacre. As he reached the the altar he heard a familiar voices coming from upstairs. The fire soon found a stairway and Arthur followed close behind until he laid his eyes on what looked like a stand off that would end up with both participants dead. Arthur quickly stepped in between the two, putting his hand on their drawn weapons and lowering them. His fire burning above the three so they all could see each other more clearly. "Celeste, Sebastian, please tell me all the bodies are of monsters and that you have been taking them out without realising that the other was here." He said then turning his attention to Celeste. "I know he doesn't seem like it in any sense of the term, but he's on our side. He's a good... he's a frie... He's a Titan if that has any sway." He then turned his attention to Sebastian "Look if I were you I would be a bit more friendly and less of a douche then you normally are to her, because unlike me she doesn't need the all clear sign to send you to kingdom come." He said calm but firmly. "Now, one of you please tell me what happened here, because apparently my source got whatever was here wrong."

Celeste kept her gun barrel steady, her eyes narrowed at the leech as he spoke. No, not just leech. There was something else about her aura that she couldn't put her finger on. What was it? It was weird, like something she's never really seen. Or, well, that she remembers seeing. An odd mix but, in the end, a vampire was still a vampire and it made her sick to her core just seeing it there. She had specially made wooden bullets in Ebony, soaked in her blood. They would leave a nasty sting and burn if she fired upon him.
His words made her sicker, though. "You think i did this?" she said with a derisive laugh. "That's almost funny you sad excuse for a monster. You'll pay for what happened here. And when I'm done with you, your nest is next." Her finger twitched, ready to fire when something lightly touched Ebony's barrel and forced the pistol down. Who dare...
"Arthur? You know this... this... monstah?" She practically spat the word as she glanced towards the undead thing. She just wanted to kill it. Her blood seemingly called her to do so. She even knew how she was going to do it, too. Stun with bullets and her blood, stake it, cut off it's head. Maybe not that easily but already the scene that played out in her head was delightful enough to make her want to push forward.
She huffed, looking pointedly towards Sebastian. "If they were monstahs, they would have been burned or decapitated before left there. No, that scent was mostly human. An' this bloody git did it. He's a monstah, he had to 'ave. He's jus' tryin'a blame me to get away scott free," she grumbled. Why was she even having to explain this to Arthur? He should know better than to question or she liked to believe.
She rolled her eyes as Arthur seemingly tried to defend Sebastian though a small smirk couldn't help but shine through when he explained to the beast about her. "Bloke's right. I don't. You're lucky to still be standin' as it is, leech." She then turned her focus to Arthur. "I got a call 'bout a nest in my area guardin' some artifact. You know bloody well i can't just let that fly. So i came to take care of the nest, aquire the artifact. Bodies were already there when i got here. An' then tosser thought i did it. Fuckin' liar, he is. He should he dead, this has vampires and monstahs written all over it and what is he?" She scoffed. "A sad excuse for a bloody monstah."

Sebastian barely even noticed the guy next to him. All he knew was that some Buffy wanna be wanted to stake him. Clearly she knew nothing about him. Sure he wasn't exactly the most noble person ever. Hell if anything he was far from noble. But he does what he needs to do to survive. And all he wants to do right now is deal with her and get the artifact. That was truly all he cared about. However he still didn't like the idea of being blamed for killing the vampires. Primarily because he hadn't done it.
"There are so many things wrong with that statement Buffy. For starters I don't have a Nest, mainly because I'm not exactly a straight up vampire. I'm the Prince of Hell and I don't pass off blame for murders. I admit to every life I've ended, admit it proudly at that. But I came here for the same reason. I wanted the artifact and I didn't want the vampires to expand their Nest."
He said with a shrug. He was about to go on further when Admiral Fluffy Paws poked his head out from the shadows.
'Someone's coming.'
Sebastian resheathed his sword and began examining the boarded up windows.
"You two are on your own."
He said before turning to leave. Suddenly the boarded up windows were smashed in as people dressed in black swung in. One fired a strange looking gun and a silver net hit Sebastian and wrapped tightly around him, leaving him on the ground. The sound of his skin sizzling was obvious as soldier came in from all directions. Those at the front were holding riot shields with runes carved into them. Admiral Fluffy Paws meanwhile was chasing a dot from one of the laser sights.
"Useless feline..."
'Celeste Belmont, Arthur Blood, Sebastian Blood X and Admiral Fluffy Paws, stand down and surrender. You're under arrest for murder and corpse desecration.'
The soldiers closed in, their shields giving off an almost painful energy. The shields were designed to resist anything and emit an energy most found painful. All four each had numerous laser dots on their bodies, the soldiers looking for any excuse to fire. So far they hadn't had much of a reason but it was obvious they were on edge.

He knew that with Celeste's incredible hatred for vampires, and Sebastian being a pompous jackass, he knew the two wouldn't get along and will end in lots of biting and bullet wounds.
"Sadly I do know this 'monstah'. It involves Georgia, zombies and him disappearing on me." He said to Celeste as he just stood there listening to the two bicker like little kids, but at least they weren't murdering each other so Arthur could deal with it, but the main problem was that he didn't think Celeste or Sebastian were the ones who who caused this. Seeing Celeste didn't bit vamps last time he checked and Sebastian wasn't one to use guns. So it was odd why they were all there
He heard Celeste reason for being here which clashed with why he was here. Which made the situation get, as Alice from wonderland would say, getting curiouser and curiouser
"Strange. I got a call that some nobody magician thought he had the power to summon and control demons of hell... Is it me or is there something fishy going on around here?" He said asking it rhetorically, but still leaving the question hanging.
Arthur wasn't surprised that someone else was coming. This was a trap and the three of them took the bait. He watched Sebastian turned and run. He followed in his foot steps and dashed down the stairs back to the church doors the minute people burst through the door. The first ones through were carrying riot shields with runes carved into them which Arthur read as some sort of chant written over and over saying something about absorbing the energies of chaos .
"Freeze!" said what looked like the leader of the bunch standing behind the riot shields.
Arthur slowly raised his hands but began chanting quickly "These strange men just suddenly appeared, so get me the he-" Somebody fired something gooey at Arthur's mouth which at the moment of impact solidified stopping Arthur from speaking and further casting spells. He kept his hands up as one of the men disarmed him of his sword, shield and satchel then continued to force Arthur on the floor and handcuff him.
"Izzt phet eelly nesserary?" He said knowing the man wouldn't be able to understand him.
'Celeste Belmont, Arthur Blood, Sebastian Blood X and Admiral Fluffy Paws, stand down and surrender. You're under arrest for murder and corpse desecration.'
'Aah fuck' Arthur thought.

I keep kicking at the curb with my worn out shoes "I find it very, very hard t'believe tha'," Celeste spat as she kept her guns steady. One shot, that was all she needed, one good should and she felt sure that she could take him down if she really needed to. Prince of Hell or not, everything had their weaknesses and, from her experience, if you cut of someone's head, they'll always die in the end. It was simply impossible to live without your head. Especially if it wound up in a box and buried so far deep, that no one would ever be able to find it again. See? It'd be easy to kill him, she was sure of that. But if it wasn't for the fact that she had just the smallest bit of respect for Arthur, then she probably wouldn't have a care in the world about killing him right on the spot. After all. A monster was a monster. She finally pulled her guns back with a roll of her eyes and a bit of a derisive snort. "Don't think you an' your little pussy cat are gonna make it too terribly far." It was a bit of a threat and a bit of a warning. Though, she would give them a head start. It was always so much fun to chase the prey. Her eyes glanced towards Arthur as he spoke. That didn't make any sense. "That's quite preposterous, Blood. There isn't even the scent of a demon here, save for the little half leech try'na turn tail an' run away," she muttered. Her ears twitched as they picked up on the sound that the cat must have. Someone was coming, she could hear it now. Hell, she could even almost smell it. She twisted quickly as she heard a voice say freeze and she crossed her arms as she readied her guns. "I was never really one t'take orders. So, how about this. You do this the easy way an' let us go. Or we can do this the hard way an' I shoot you lot." That was when their quote unquote 'shots' were fired. Silver netting around the vampire. Some strange goop over Arthur's mouth. And some sort of sharp electricity to make her drop the guns before aiming what she could only assume might be some form of a tranq gun at her. She hated the thought of surrender but she got down on her knees and put her hands behind her head. It wasn't like there was a prison that could really hold her if she didn't want it to. One of the men came up behind her and roughly pushed her so that her face was on the ground. She let out a slight groan as cuffs were tightly forced around her wrists and they took off her choker. "Oi, you better get your soddin' hands off of tha' or so help me, I will tear each an' every one of you apart the second I get outta these cuffs!"'Celeste Belmont, Arthur Blood, Sebastian Blood X and Admiral Fluffy Paws, stand down and surrender. You're under arrest for murder and corpse desecration.'"Oh, that's just not right. You arrogant li'l gits are try'na set us up, aren't you! You know damn well we didn't do this. Now give me my choker back and let us go, you useless tossers!" That was probably when they forced her back up just to shoot the same goo at her mouth they did at Arthur's. She tried getting it off but without her hands, she couldn't really do much. 'Bloody hell, I should never have taken this job.'605 | @sebastian @knight | I imagine one of the agents gave that guy a look and all he could do was say "I didn't have the choice. Sebastian groaned as he lay there in a very uncomfortable position, the silver net binding him tightly. He couldn't see the other two but could hear them. He could hear Arthur's footsteps as he tried to run and could hear Buffy as she drew her guns and talked crap. If she weren't a hunter that kept calling him leech he'd probably like her. But instead she annoyed him and he was glad they were going after her too. However he knew that he also needed to get out of there. He could come back for Arthur later. Sure he didn't like the guy but they were both Titans. It was kind of his job to look out for him. But he'd need backup.
"Well as fun as this has been I'm afraid I must be off."
He began to focus on turning to mist. Admittedly it was tricky given the pain he was in from the silver net, but not impossible. He just needed to push his mind past that. However before he could he felt a large syringe pressed into his back. Impossible. No way they'd know about his curse. He hadn't told anyone.
'Stop fighting and stay where you are.'
The voice said and he stopped struggling entirely.
"You know you say all this crap about corpse desecration but this is kinda what you're doing right now."
'Stop talking.'
He could move his mouth but no sound came out anymore. They took the net off of him and he sighed silently. He couldn't run, fight or say anything, so he settled for a solid middle finger. He rolled his eyes at Celeste's comment and noticed one of the soldiers set down a carrier.
'Yes yes, I know I know. Into the carrier like a good little kitty.'
Admiral Fluffy paws said as he walked towards the carrier. He stopped and hissed at one soldier who flinched back, gun brought up. Admiral Fluffy paws laughed and Sebastian let out a silent laugh.
'Oh yes, this will be so fun.'
Once inside the door was closed and locked. Meanwhile the other three were rounded up and were being pushed towards the door. Once outside Sebastian noticed a massive truck had been backed up to the door. It was designed to look like a garbage truck and had been positioned to block all view from the streets. Not like anyone paid attention to this little ramshackle church anyways. Likely why they picked it and why everyone assumed it could hold a nest or group of demons. Once inside the truck he was instructed by the one holding his blood to sit down and had silver cuffs slapped around his wrists, ankles and neck. The other two would've been restrained in a similar manner along the benches on the side. Sebastian looked down at Admiral Fluffy Paws and began to silently move his mouth.
'Don't take that tone with me Sebastian. It's not like I forced you to go into the church for that fake artifact.'

How humiliating. He was stuck in this make shit prison and garbage truck with goo stuck to his mouth at least he got a good view of what the of the truck. It was your basic prisoner convoy, except that there was this strange machine at the back which Arthur deduced as a magic dampener. probably set the maximum setting so even if they escaped they couldn't magic away. The best thing about it was that at least they moved the cuffs so in front of him so at least he could bend his body down and try and remove the goo from his face, but dam was that stuck on good. After several attempts of trying to remove the goo it went off with a horrifying sound.
"Aagghh! God f**king dammit, that hurt." he said getting his back together. He started looking at Sebastian and his familiar. "You know Sebastian, this is the longest time I've ever heard you be silent. What no last word? Comeback? Witty comment?" He said getting a bit impatient. He was getting worried where the hell they were going and who those men were. They seemed to know how to that Arthur needed to speak to be able to cast magic, only a few people actually made the link that he need to speak to actually cast magics. These guys did their research about him alright.
"So... Fluffy paws. Do you recognise those outfits or know who they were? I mean Sebastian must have been hunted by these guys before or something, right?" He asked feeling silly to talk to a cat, but so far that was the only way to get answers from Sebastian seeing as he was being awkwardly silent for him.
