Lilith went back to lounging on the bed, watching him at the computer. She wasn’t too sure about these people who were coming. She didn’t like being in fights. She knew precious few moves to begin with. She was trained to please people, not knock them out or kill them.
”I hate fighting. Never was really good at it,” she said, after she’d moved back to the bed. She had been kinda hoping this was solely a recon trip. No interacting, just reporting. ”So. Is this going to be over quick? The front desk let it slip that this room is rented for at least the whole night till noon tomorrow. And it is a lovely room.”
A part of her wanted him to call her out on this 180 she did. He probably wouldn’t. He would probably just internalize it all, like most men, and since he liked to internalize everything, it might never come up. Lilith, couldn’t help but look at him in a new light, now that things had been explained, and she was no longer angry at him.
”Sebastian?” she cooed softly. ”Will the fighting last long? I really didn’t bring clothes for that. They should really do a better job informing us of proper attire.”

He gave a light laugh and shook his head at her comment about fighting. It wasn't wrong, she wasn't the best at fighting and most of her skills worked better at infiltration or seduction.
"Well Lils, you probably weren't recruited for your fighting skills. Of course if you really want to learn how to fight you can always ask me or that skank Buffy to teach you. I'm pretty sure she'd just use it as an excuse to kill you though, she's pretty racist."
He said with a shrug. He didn't like bringing up Celeste. Yes the two of them hated each other and he was fairly certain when they died it would be at the other's hands. But he also figured that wouldn't be for awhile. However they managed to work well enough on the team. They worked pretty hard to complete their job, mostly since if they didn't they went boom and their implants were designed to ensure there was no coming back.
"Our orders are to observe. We're only supposed to watch unless they leave us no choice. If there's a fight though don't worry, just stay behind me. Worst case scenario I've got a few throwing knives as well as silver knuckles. Worst case scenario, just hit or stab anyone who gets close, preferably not me."
He said with a laugh. He knew she could fight if she had to, but it might be easier if he just dealt with it. There's a chance he could go quicker and keep himself between Lilith and the demons. He didn't know everything she was capable of however. For one thing she could be faking the whole thing and be a real powerhouse. It would work, to hide in plain sight as just some pretty face.
"Well you could always fight naked. At the very least we can use it to distract them. Of course it'd also distract me, but either way it'd keep your clothes clean. But if we can get them by surprise the fighting shouldn't last long."
He said as more voices were filling the speakers. People kept filling the room, more and more demons. They were big, tough looking.
"These are low level weak demons. The smart strong ones pose as children, elderly, weak average looking people. These are body builders, athletes, people you'd notice. SHould be able to take them out in no time. What do you think Admiral Fluffy Paws?"
Admiral meanwhile was on his back, sprawled out and snoring quietly. He shook his head and turned his attention back to Lilith.

Bored again, she tended to get that way easily, Lilith once more slid off the bed, padding over to him. A robe seemed to materialize around her, but only to Sebastian’s eyes. Gone was any hint of the skimpy bra and panties she had been ‘wearing’, although the sheerness of the robe left little to the imagination. Her hand ran lazily over AFP as she left the warmth of the bed. She pulled the gauzy robe around her with a slight shiver, as if the thin fabric would help at all. She sighed, watching him stare at the screen like some teenage boy with video games.
”Well of course I wasn’t. Unless they assume we all throw fireballs of something.” Lilith couldn’t help but smile at her own joke. She hoped he thought so too, or it was about to get really awkward.
”Learn? Why would I do that when I have just strong handsome men around me?” Her tone was still playful, so he would know she was joking...mostly. ”You know, maybe if you were nicer to her, Celeste might not hate you so mugh?” Lilith offered, trying to be helpful. ”I mean, we live together and she doesn’t seem to want to kill me...90% of the time. And the rest of the time, I just assume she’s kidding.”
The demoness poured herself a glass of champagne, bringing bot the glass and the bottle with her as she crossed the room. She stood behind him, sipping on the champagne in the glass while setting the bottle next to him and the computer. The succubus just watched over her Lord’s shoulder, silently for a bit.
”Do you think the boss will show? Or just some higher up underling.” She asked, putting her glass down and leaning down so her face was now level with his. ”I suppose if the top uy shows up, that means we have to do something? Mostly you,” she finished with a smirk.
Lilith watched the screen for a bit. ”I’m bored,” she sighed. ”You sure we can’t have that bellboy back for some fun?” She curled her fingers into his hair, gently playing with it. ”Please my Lord.”

He laughed a bit and shook his head. She had a point, plus at least she was aware that she wasn't a very good fighter. So at least she wouldn't take pointless risks while fighting dangerous enemies.
"You should try the fireball thing it's fun. Very useful too."
"All you do is use it to light cigarettes."
"Sounds like useful to me."
He rolled his eyes as she talked about simply being protected. If he ever had kids, and had a daughter he'd never let them end up like her. Spoiled and letting everyone do the work for her. He wanted to make her stronger and tougher so she could handle herself. People wouldn't always be there to protect her.
"What if you're alone? You might not have that luxury of sending someone to fight for you."
He knew he and Celeste would never get along. While they'd respect each other's skills it just wouldn't happen. Then again he was considered to be the least popular person on the team. Which was fine with him, he was used to being alone.
"This group is so low level the moron we were watching could be the higher up. But no, the boss won't come. This is the team you send in as a distraction while your real squad does the main mission. When the higher up comes we grab him and question them. If it's a he we see if you can get the info from him. If it doesn't work then I persuade him another way. If it's a female, then it's possibly her lucky day."
He said with a laugh. He knew that he could persuade a man or woman if he truly wanted to. In this case he'd truly want to so it would happen. If it wasn't sexual it would be violence, so he'd get information.
"Leave the bellboy be. Besides I could tell just by looking at him he has a terrible diet which means his blood would taste atrocious."
Just then there was a knock on the door in the video and everyone stood up.
"Here we go, get ready to move."
