Dante had been busy in the kitchen making some tea as Lydia had asked and making some food for the others. Hearing Flash show up meant he'd need to triple the food he was making, at the very least. He was kind of glad Sebastian wasn't here though, mostly because he was never sure how to cook for him. He claimed to sometimes eat and even cook but Dante had never seen it. Dante was bringing in a tray of tea and a stack of mismatched mugs that he'd found from the cupboards when he heard everyone talking.
"It's a test."
He said setting the tray down on a small table beside the computer. He began pouring a mug for Lydia, since she was the leader and had actually asked for it. He saw really nothing wrong with her not wearing pants, he himself hated wearing clothes so he couldn't judge.
"The Jean Grey Academy offered a class on Apocalypse. One of the main reasons he was there was a test for Adam. He usually tests his Horsemen, making them turn on friends and family. There should be no allegiance to anyone other than him and blah de blah."
He said before handing Lydia a mug of tea. He trusted her as she was the only one that he'd actually told about his epilepsy and true form. Sure others may know, or suspect, but she was his leader so he trusted her.
"Otherwise it was simply a way to anger the main heroes and take out a next generation. I mean all of us are going to be Avengers, Justice Leaguers, X-Men or some combination. Take us out the main teams get angry, don't think clearly and then he takes them out. Apocalypse is a huge fan of playing the long game. It's not a grand appearance which means all the pieces aren't in play. At best he only has three Horsemen, but I'd bet on two. Sorry, breakfast will be ready in about 10."
He said before turning to head back to the kitchen. But Lady Death Wail was seemingly trying to get in his way. She was always trying to get him to keep doing stuff and be more open. But so far there hadn't been much luck. Dante never thought to highly of himself despite his powers, more people liking him than he thought, or the fact he was smarter than he thought.
