Jean Grey Academy for Higher Learning had been on high alert ever since Apocalypse was spotted and Titan Tower fell. But it had been over a week so there was a sense of security beginning to flow through the school. Something that wasn't shared by the faculty who'd encountered him several times in the past. A curfew had been enforced, something that was at first ignored until may became the one in charge of enforcing it. She'd had fun with it, perhaps too much fun but the point was made and the curfew was followed, for the most part.
But now it was time to see what they'd been preparing for. All the extra hours of Danger Room training and studying all of the group attack patterns were about to pay off when the primary reason showed up. Max had made a large portal in front of the school and Apocalypse stepped through with Death and Famine following behind. He held his hand up and it began to shift into a gun. He then fired a blast destroying the gate, the fountain and blowing in the front doors.
"War, Pestilence....it begins."
Sure enough the defense systems popped up, the guns trained on the three of them.
"Hold Death, Famine. We need to ensure that the other two are indeed worthy."
He said simply watching. He examined the school before closing his eyes and focusing with his telepathy.
'My children, know that your salvation has come. It is time to take your place by my side and above those weak humans. Come to me!'
Now he just had to wait for his Horsemen to do their job. They were supposed to take out the defenses as well as any potentially risky faculty people. However he also knew some had to die to get his point across, well that and the X-Men had annoyed him enough as is.

Alarms were going off all over the school. It had been on high alert ever since Titan Tower fell. Now he had finally shown, as they'd expected. But he wasn't attacking, aside from destroying the front gate and front door he was just waiting. The two with him had already been identified as the new Death and Famine. Danny hadn't really encountered either Adam or whoever the other one was. He only learned Adam's name from one of his students, Dante, who was also a Teen Titan. He didn't understand why Adam had been chosen as Death but it didn't make sense to try and understand it.
As the defense systems began to activate and the students began to retreat into the multitude of escape tunnels scattered through out the school. When a school gets blown up as often as this one does one has to be prepared to get the students out. Dean had just ordered his own squad to evacuate before slipping into the security control room. There he found someone working to keep Apocalypse out. He tapped him on the shoulder and as he turned around Danny let out a whistle, causing Missy to charge in and pounce, ripping out the man's throat. Missy had also been upgraded as well as strengthening her teeth and jaw.
Danny then stepped up to the controls and began rapidly typing. He'd been sober for two days now, actually a record for him. He seemed to forget how smart he actually was when he was sober. Instantly he began undoing all the work that had happened. The guns, once aimed at Apocalypse were now turning on the school. The metal shudders covering the windows and doors were opening and ones were now coming down over the emergency exits the students were trying to escape through.
He then quickly left the room, after destroying the console. He then quickly left the room following Missy. He began to leave a trail of sleeping dust as he moved through the halls. He was leaving a trail of unconscious students and faculty in his wake. He stepped out onto the lawn, watching as pieces of the wall were beginning to collapse inward from the barrage of the security system. He then took to the air, looking down at the school as Missy ran over to Apocalypse, Death and Famine and sat down behind them.

All things considered, Edward was bloody glad he hadn't popped out for a fag when he'd been planning on it. He'd been training in the room and had persuaded himself to go for one superset of the weights machines before he nipped out when the alarms had gone off. He heard the guns outside the front open fire and knew that this wasn't a drill. Of course, this didn't really help him understand what it was, but he knew this was serious. Serious enough that he lit the cigarette there and then as he ran to try and figure out what was going on. It was probably going to be a stressful situation, no harm getting some preemptive calm in. He'd been the only person on the floor. Logically, the best place to go would be the tunnels. Students would be making their way there to get away from whatever the hell was happening, and one of them was bound to be able to tell him. It was just a shame he had more important things to do than run down and ask someone. Instead he ran up the stairs, taking them four at a time to reach the floor his room was on, still smoking. " Kayleigh?" He roared. " Mari? Gabby? Anyone?" All of them had enhanced hearing, if they were around and conscious, they'd be able to hear him. It was an unfortunately large school, but he was willing to traipse over it in its entirety if he had to to find the people he cared about. " Kayleigh?" He tried again, raising his voice. " May? Gabby? Mari?" Hell, he was desperate enough to start calling for Isaac or Becca here. And then he heard the shutters slam down, and he knew something serious was going on. After the incident with May, he'd familiarised himself with the school's security. If the shutters were closing, it meant the school was on lockdown. There was something very dangerous outside the school they didn't want getting in, or worse, something very dangerous inside they didn't want getting out. The true implication of this only hit him by the time he was halfway down the stairs. Lockdown meant all windows were shuttered and all doors were sealed. Including the doors to the tunnels. While it could be a good thing, stopping something from getting it, it meant that students could be trapped inside with something. Or worse, trapped between exits and unable to get in or out. Whatever it was, he needed someone to tell him something or he'd be guessing in the dark. Just running around himself wasn't going to help this. He pulled out his phone and started to thumb a mass text. The way this day was going, he'd half expected to have no signal. Addressing the text to Becca Storm , @imp , Mari Creed , Gabrielle Wilson , @pyro , @flappybird and @spidergirl , Edward sent the following message. 'No clue what the hell is going on. Meet me first floor, we need everyone on-board and up to speed. Sounds like we need to be quick'. Sure, it wasn't the best time to have a meeting, but if they could get everyone Edward could contact in one place, all the heavy hitters or people with authority, they could at least figure out what the hell to do next. He got down to the fifth floor and decided to take a shortcut. Something he'd only tried once before, he laid his hand on the banister and vaulted over it, watching the stairs go hurtling by. He waited until he got to the third floor staircase and shot his hand out, grabbing ahold of the banister. The jolt felt like it'd tear his shoulder off, but he was able to pull himself up and over, his shoulder only burning slightly in the process. Sure, it was quicker than the stairs, but if he missed and brained himself on the floor it'd be a really crappy way to take himself out of the action. He took the stairs down to the first floor and waited in clear view of both staircases. He almost wished there'd been some students up here, but it was the middle of the day. Everyone was on the ground floor or one of the basements, which was precisely why he'd avoided it. He wanted to help, but even he could appreciate that charging in with no idea what was going on wouldn't help. So, his instincts screaming at him to go lower into the school, Edward restlessly paced the corridor of the first floor with his claws out, waiting to see who'd gotten his message.

May had picked up on the scent a split second before the alarms went off. She'd been studying in her room, getting ready for her psych mid-terms as well as working on her term paper, which was about Aileen, or Jane Doe technically. Then she picked up on the scent of sand and Ozone as well as just the vibe of power. She'd heard her grandfather describe his scent and couldn't comprehend it, until now. She dropped her stuff and jumped up, quickly as the alarms started. They were under attack and she'd need everything she could to help. She grabbed her gloves with the web shooters as well as her Spidergun which she placed in the back of her waistband. The gun would be as useful as a rock to Apocalypse, but it may take out the Horsemen, or at least slow them down.
As she ran out she noticed the shutters that had come down to cover the windows begin to rise. That was a bad thing. She passed other students trying to get into the escape tunnels only to now find them blocked. She stopped and used her claws to cut the door away.
"Run and don't stop. Help will be coming."
The only problem was she wasn't entirely sure that was true. For all she knew this was a multi-faceted attack and everyone was falling. But she had to hope it would be ok. She heard her phone beep from her room but didn't really care. Just then the building began to shake as the weapons started firing on the school. As she ran she noticed Ed there, seemingly ready for a fight..
"This is serious Pup, really serious."
She sniffed the air and suddenly looked disappointed. She knew that smell, Danny's Faerie Dust. Having a healing factor she and Ed were immune, hence why they weren't in a heap on the floor, but it seemed stronger than before. Of course she'd encountered it before, but now it was different.
"We need to get everyone out of here. He's waiting for something and I don't like it."
She said glancing out the window as she noticed Danny flying over head and Missy now sitting beside Apocalypse. She was hurt her friend had betrayed her, but more hurt because he'd turned on everyone and sided with their greatest enemy.
"Make sure people get out, some how. I'm going to take care of the guns so the building will stay standing."
Yes she wanted to cut Danny's wings off, but the students were more important than revenge. She ran and jumped outside through one of the windows, using her spidey sense to avoid incoming blasts as she began slashing at the guns, doing her best to take them apart.

So I put my faith in something unknown I'm living on such sweet nothing But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hold I'm living on such sweet nothing Isaac flipped the page in the book, reading a few lines down before pausing after a paragraph, to take a bite of a bagel that was quite nearly smothered in cream cheese. He had already read the book once, but liked to brush up every now and again. History was important. So much could be learned from it. To not know history was to invite disaster though. Isaac flipped the page again as he took another bite. He was only halfway done chewing when the alarms went off. Isaac threw his bagel down and slammed the book shut, just able to finish swallowing the bite before reaching the hall from the library. He skidded to a halt when his phone went off, glancing at the text from Edward Church . He quickly text back. Is May there? Before pocketing the phone again and rushing towards the front doors. He didn’t make it far when he passed a growing group of nervous younger students who seeme to be going in the direction of a panicked mob. Isaac soon figured out the cause of the growing unease was a blocked tunnel entrance. He quickly instructed the older students that were there to keep the youngster out of the way, and set up a perimeter, that he hope they wouldn’t need. Isaac set his hands near the closed door, palms facing out. Fire erupted between his hands the door. Heat blew back his hair and a couple of kids took a step back. It took him a few minutes to soften the door enough for him to be able to push through it. Then some kid with ice powers super cooled the hot metal and another kid with super strength shattered the weakened metal, making the hole big enough for people to get through. Isaac didn’t follow them though, he made his way towards the front. He paused when he noticed kids passed out on the floor. He sent another text to Ed. What's going on. People are passed out on the floor, but they don't look hurt. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

After the destruction of the Tower Dante went to his only other home, Jean Grey Academy. He was taking a nap when he heard everything happen. He jumped up and Lady Death Wail jumped from his chest onto a dresser. He grabbed his image inducer and threw it on before running out into the hall just as a blast destroyed his window. It was a bit chilly so he was wearing shorts and a T-shirt, luckily. As he ran out of his room Lady Death Wail followed close behind him.
"What do you mean it's Apocalypse again?"
He asked Lady Death Wail as they ran. As he ran he came across isaac and a slew of unconscious people. He sniffed the air and instantly recognized it. Being part of Danny's training squad he knew the scent of his dust. Luckily the closest unconscious kid was a teleporter. He picked up Lady Death Wail as he neared Isaac.
"Hold your breath!"
He yelled before grabbing him by the back of the shirt and teleporting to the other side of the unconscious group. He let go and rounded a corner and saw Ed standing there.
"They'll wake up eventually. But we're better off just leaving them for the time being."
As he came up to Ed he let go of Isaac, not even realizing he was still holding onto him as Lady Death Wail climbed up onto his shoulders.
"Lady Death Wail said we're under attack by Apocalypse. Him attacking my homes repeatedly, beginning to take this shit personally."
He looked out the window and saw May slicing the guns that were firing on the school. He glanced up and saw Danny flying over head.
"Traitor. Isaac, think you can hit him with a fireball from here?"
Dante said motioning to Danny who was flying outside. Sure Dante could just mimic the ability but there was no guarantee it'd work or wouldn't fry him completely. He'd only heard bits and pieces about Isaac's ability, never seen them in person.
