It was a warm afternoon in the African nation of Wakanda , it had been quite some time since Jak had been to his home country and he had missed it. Though tensions were running high and many people were distrustful of him because of his sister's actions Jak still enjoyed coming here and would not refrain from it no matter what the nation thought of him. He looked outside of the limousine he was in and saw the streets that he used to play on when he was still a boy , as a feeling of sadness overcame him when he realized things may never be as they once were. His thought pattern was disrupted when the limousine stopped in front of the palace.
"That's allright I'll take those myself , thank you."
He spoke to the driver when he tried to reach for his luggage , Jak was never one to enjoy someone following him around all day doing his bidding. No , he was more of a simple man besides he didn't like the idea of someone else walking around with his personal belongings.
"Prince Jakkara , welcome back to Wakanda. Your room is ready please come in and get ready everyone is eager to see you again."
His thoughts were disrupted again as one of the servants spoke to him from atop the stairs leading to the palace. He smiled and nodded politely knowing full well that most of the officials were about as excited to see him as he was to see them , which he was not. He walked up the stairs ignoring the stares from the guards and servants , some in distrust some with respect and some in awe of his looks, He never cared any way. He layed down his luggages as he entered the palace and smiled.
"It is good to be back"

T'Shan had been home in Wakanda for the holdiays and to spend some time with S'Fada and her new....boyfriend. T'Shan still wasn't happy with Olly dating S'Fada but she was happy with him and that was enough. He'd challenged Olly to a fight, just between the two of them. He wanted to make sure Olly would take care of her and keep her happy. He'd heard stories about him hopping from woman to woman and he wanted to make sure Siffy wasn't jut another notch on his headboard, or whatever he had.
He'd noticed the servants setting up Jakkara's room, he hadn't seen his cousin in awhile. Yes they were both Avengers but they usually travelled different paths. Mostly because T'Shan primarily stayed with the Avengers and worked in New York. Yes they needed to deal with Apocalypse but he also wanted to see his family. A day or two wouldn't hurt, primarily because he could come back in a blink.
"Jakky!"
T'Shan announced before one of his axes imbedded into the floor a yard ahead of Jakkara. T'Shan then jumped out of one of the doorways leaping straight at him. They used to spar when they were younger but they hadn't sparred in ages. So T'Shan decided to start the fighting once again. He knew it wasn't the safest idea, but it would be fun.

Jakkara's senses warned him of an impeding danger , it was not like he had a spidey-sense or something but his years as a warrior and heightened senses allowed him to mostly notice when something was coming this way. The voice he heard and the nickname that came from the voice quickly changed that though as Jakkara immediately recognized his large Asgardian cousin as the one who threw his axe in front of him. He and his cousin used to spar alot back when they were young and at first T'Shan usually won because of the obvious strength advantage but Jakkara learned to work around that with skills and wit which not always proved to be enough.
"Shan!"
Jakkara yelled with a big smile on his face , as his large cousin came crashing down on him he quickly jumped up trying to catch T'Shan in mid-air leading both men to roll to the floor. Lying on his back Jakkara kicked his legs back before jumping forward and gracefully landing on his feet. He turned around to face T'Shan and extended his hands in front of him , hands facing eachother with his right hand at shoulder height and his left hand slightly below that.
He carefully walked around his sparring partner knowing full well the strength he possesses , he learned that from an accident that led to Jakkara being thrown through a wall once. With the grace of an animal he quickly jumped forward and shot out one leg to his opponents body and almost immediately after that the other leg was aimed for his head.
"It's been a while cousin, I can always count on you for a welcome of this sort. This tells me you haven't changed much since we were children playing in these same halls."

T'Shan leaped at his cousin and the two clutched and rolled. It was the kind of reaction he'd expected from the smaller cousin. Using his cousin's large momentum to get him away. T'Shan rolled on his shoulder and popped back up, spinning to face Jakkara. Instead of fists he kept his hands open and took a ready position. He smirked as Jakkara lashed out at him. He jumped back avoiding the first kick and ducked under the second one. T'Shan just gave a laugh and shook his head.
"Impressive cousin. I see you have gotten faster in your time...where ever it is you were. But aye, it does remind me of old days. All of us playing tag which eventually went too far and someone was being thrown out a window."
It was usually S'Fada throwing T'Shan out the window but that was not important just now. Of all the children, T'Shan had always been the slowest, strongest yes, but always slowest. WHile others relied on reflexes and reaction time T'Shan preferred durability and strength. Yes he was fast, but strength had always been his strong suit. It often worked in his favor though, it usually made people forget his speed which now was much faster than most would think.
"Do not worry cousin, coming in second to a Prince of Asgard is admirable in its own way."
He rushed forward and dropped down, aiming to sweep Jakkara's legs. He assumed this would fail, being easily avoided and all. It was a rather obvious attack. He then followed it up by popping up from the crouched position aiming for an uppercut square at Jakk's jaw. T'Shan had toned down his strength to still superhuman levels but not by much. Still within Jakk's realm of strength and to not knock his head clean off. That would make for an awkward reunion.
"I could have used your expertise when fighting a rogue Sentinel the other day."

Jakkara had expected his warrior cousin to dodge his attacks, he knew that despite his large stature and great strength T'Shan was very fast and nimble if he wanted to and could easily dodge most blows he eats head on which was even scarier. Jakkara always knew that in terms of physical prowess he was nowhere near his cousins so he had to rely on skill and intelligence more, even though after some time he could keep up with them in battle they were still at a massive advantage against Jakkara.
"My search took me far and wide cousin, hopefully will you accompany on one of these trips even if they have proved futile in finding my sister I found many other things that I will treasure for life. And I fondly think back to those trips out the window the memory alone makes up for the bones that sometimes broke"
Jakkara spoke with a thick accent, he usually managed to speak without an accent but when in the company of his family he would often revert to his original accent and often spoke Wakandan to his family as well. He wasn't aware of this it was just something he had been doing ever since he was a kid and he felt no need to alter it. He smiled and shook his head when his cousin spoke about coming in second to a Prince of Asgard although it was true Jakkara was not the type of person who would give up especially not against his cousin so he was prepared for the injuries he may get today.
His senses sharpened when T'Shan attempted to sweep his legs Jakkara nimbly jumped into a somersault and when the second attack , an uppercut nearly grazed his face he leaned back landing on one hand before swiftly jumping on all fours. The uppercut was close... Too close for Jakkara's comfort, he knew his cousin was holding back but decided he did not want to get hit with one of those. Gracefully he moved around his sparring partner and the way he moved many would say he looks like the animal he is named after.
"A rogue sentinel you say? I suppose you haven't left it all in one piece right? Cause if I can reverse engineer it perhaps I could make some for Wakanda to use.."
Jakkara pondered out loud as he nearly forgot he was in the middle of a 'fight', still moving on all fours with his body extremely close to the ground he moved closer to the Asgardian. It looked very similar to a bear crawl but somehow Jak moved slightly animalistic... Without warning he pounced forward and shifted his torso back while extending both feet , performing a drop kick aimed at his cousin's head.

He knew what it was like to want to be with one's sister. Sadly he had no real concept of what Jakk was going through. Sure he and Ada may differ, but in the grand scheme they were both similar. Yes if he truly wanted there's a chance he could take the Wakandan throne from her. He'd even met a version of himself who had done just that. That alone had scared him out of ever trying anything. But perhaps when this was done he would join his cousin on searching for his sister. Perhaps the two of them together would have better luck.
"Aye, perhaps we need a cousins' journey. I would enjoy that. Perhaps getting away from here is exactly what I need."
He knew getting away from everything might be best for him. All this fighting and being around Aileen, trying not to think about her when this was all he did. He focused so heavily on her that it was actually getting to be rather sad. Of course he'd never admit that, mostly because he didn't have to.
T'Shan watched him move around him and smirked. Circling him was an old trick they'd each been taught when facing larger opponents. The point was hoping they moved to attack or kept spinning to follow, tripping over their own feet. T'shan meanwhile stayed still, letting his senses do their jobs. Yes he was tempted to either kick at him or stomp him into the tile but he waited. This would be an awkward and long fight as the two knew each other fairly well.
"Last I saw SHIELD had claimed the wreckage, well what was left of it. Wakanda does not need anything like that."
He said before spinning to the side to avoid the quick kick. As he spun he placed his fists together and swung them as a 'double axe handle' style strike he'd seen on the wrestling shows. He aimed it right at Jakk's ribs and knew if he connected there was a chance he'd end up in the next room.
"Although I am curious as to what you would plan on doing with it."

Jakkara was glad that his cousin offered him to search together, it seemed like a good way to reconnect with his cousin and having a god around would always come in handy. His cousin seemed to be uncharacteristically troubled and Jakkara squinted slightly with a slight look of worry on his face. "Perhaps cousin, thank you for your offer but it seems to me you are troubled by something."
Jakkara had realized that his obsession with finding his sister has led to him neglecting his other duties, he was an Avenger and an X-Men but most of all he had his family that were all right there for him so he made a mental note to spend more time with them and T'Shan was perfect for it since they were also on the same team. He figured SHIELD would claim the wreckage if not someone else but had hoped that it could have been of some use to him knowing full well that his cousin was not as keen on technology as he was.
T'Shan's fist came dangerously close to Jakkara as he waited for the right moment. When they were in the proper range he jumped gracefully and used the momentum and force created by T'Shan's incredible strength to propel himself in the air and landing with a somersault on the ground a few feet from his cousin again.
"There are countless possibilities cousin, I can gain knowledge from the tech and perhaps use it to build a suitable sparring partner for you. Though I would have to stockpile them considering your... Might as you may call it."
He jokingly spoke to his cousin while inconspicuously trying to grab a small dagger from a table behind him. He swiftly aimed and threw it at the Asgardian knowing full well that he could easily catch it despite not even needing to do it.
"By the way, where is your sister? Shouldn't I greet the queen properly now? I'm not sure how to handle all of this to be honest."

If Jakk could tell he was troubled he could only imagine how he looked to others he were around him all the time. His sister, James, Aileen. Was she aware how much she was getting to him? Did she even care? If she had nothing for him she could at least tell him. He'd deal with these thoughts later, when he wasn't fighting his cousin.
"My only troubles cousin are explaining to my sister why there is a Jakkara sized hole in her wall."
He said with a laugh. He felt he did a good job covering his tracks. Of course he's always been terrible at reading people. Or at least in settings like this. In battle he could read someone's body language and figure out their entire strategy. He saw Jakk dodge the blow and was mildly impressed. He thought given the angle he'd have him perfectly. He should've known better than to try and get him with such a simple shot. No matter, he'd get him yet.
"I am always up for a challenge. But the creature was 60 feet tall and had 6 arms and still I bested it. There is none that Scion can not best."
He said with a smirk before the knife was thrown. That was a solid attack, but the problem with proper knife throwing was it took time, especially against someone with his senses. He stepped to the side, avoiding the throw and shook his head.
"A knife cousin? Is this because of the time I tried throwing you off the top of the palace?"

Jakkara smirked at T'Shan's comment, it was clear to him that T'Shan had no interest in talking about his problems not yet at least. This didn't surprise the prince as his cousin was an Asgardian after all, a warrior who was not used to discussing his feelings and it was typical of him to try to lighten the situation with a joke that was actually true Jakkara was clearly outmatched and despite being stronger than any normal human he was still hopelessly weaker than his cousins, he had to use the skills he had acquired over his life. "Very funny T'Shan, you'd have to catch me first, should there be any worry on your mind there is no one who you can trust more than your family, cousin." Jak replied teasingly before reverting to a slightly more serious tone, he hoped it would ease his cousin's mind if he made it known that he was willing to help.
"Well, there is something that I am working on that might make you work up a good sweat cousin. Soon you may find an equal though I have to work some more on it first."
Jakkara was slightly exagerating his claims but should the armor he was speaking of be finished it could very well be something that could challange T'Shan, if someone with Jakkara's skill would pilot it. He had initially created it out of precaution not specifically for T'Shan but for any adversarie Jak could one day go up against or in the unlikely case any of his allies would go rogue he felt like he would have to stop them as they should stop him. He knew the chances were slim but stil... Better safe than sorry.
"No ofcourse not cousin, it is for the time you actually threw me off the top of the palace, or the time you threw me off the panther statue."
He replied jokingly, Jakkara grinned it felt good to be back home and with his cousin. This was their usual way of connecting when they were children and seeing as everything seemed to have changed it seemed good for both men to know that little has changed between them.
"You know cousin , even though your welcoming is a bit rough for most people's taste I truly appreciate having you around. You make for a great sparring partner."

Of course Ada knew her cousin was coming. She was queen after all. Not much happened in her own country that she didn’t know about, or find out about. She also knew that her brother was in the country, and that those two hadn’t seen each other in ages. She also knew how they could be with each other, especially after so long. This was one of those cases where boys really would be boys.
Ada smirked when a servant came running in to tell her they had started fighting in the entrance hall. She waved them off with a laugh. ”When they actually break something, then come fetch me.” She could tell that her staff was still on edge about that whole thing, and on some level, most likely due to the Asgardian blood in her, blood that tended to wake up when T’Shan was around, found it all rather amusing. She needed to get ready though, before she could greet her cousin.
She loved Jakka, almost like a second brother, but his sister had forced her to keep him at arm's length. She knew that it might hurt him a bit, but it was the price one often payed when sitting on a throne of a country half the world wanted control over for one reason or another. She slipped on a pair of sandals and made her way down to the entrance hall.
Just as she got there, T’Shan was dodging a very well thrown knife. Ada’s hand shot up, catching the knife, just as she called out ”Boys!” She dropped the knife on the marble side table. ”If you would kindly not break my home.” A smile played over her face as she descended the steps towards them. She wasn’t mad. She couldn’t be mad at them, even if she should be.
”Jakka,” she said opening her arms up for a hug. She could show him how much she cared this one, couldn’t she?

He couldn't help but laugh as he mentioned coming up with something. He shook his head but honestly was concerned. Jakkara knew him well, honestly better than most save S'Fada, James or Ginnie. However the last time he'd heard something similar Ginnie spent weeks analyzing his old mace and more accurately the metal. She'd then come up with her Scion buster. However at its rate he could likely make scrap metal out of it, which might explain why he hasn't seen her much.
"I look forward to handing you back the pieces cousin."
He was confident that he would indeed be leaving a pile of whatever he had planned. Yes Jakkara had some access to Vibranium that didn't concern him. It took a lot to concern him. What usually did the trick was minor things like, well Aileen or if his sister was angry. Yes he was the god of strength but he'd always been afraid of his sister. Which made when she caught the knife and made her appearance known he knew they were in trouble.
"Sister dear! It is my home too and we had not broken anything, well not yet."
If he was honest he knew they would have broken stuff. The fact not even a table had been knocked over was actually impressive for the two of them. Of course any longer and he was likely to begin throwing furniture and it may go from playful scuffling to a full on fight in which case yes, things would be destroyed. T'Shan was next to Jakkara in a blur with his arm around him, more so showing off his new found speed which was well beyond anything Jakkara had likely seen before his apparent death.
"You must learn to let that go cousin. I did aim for the largest tree after all. Besides, you have now learned to watch your back at all times."
He said with a laugh before patting Jakkara on the back as S'Fada opened her arms.
"A hug from Queen S'Fada, so rare are these I believe there have been more solar eclipses in our time than those."
He said with a wink to S'Fada.

Jakkara was well aware of T'Shan's tremendous power and laughed when the Asgardian said he would be handing him back pieces, but it was not about defeating T'Shan as that was nigh-impossible. It was more about something that could work him a sweat something that could actually hurt the god. Jak made a mental note of studying footage of T'Shan and even Thor from way back when in hopes of finding something.
"One of these days T'Shan..."
His mumbling stopped when his other cousin made her presence known and caught the knife he threw at T'Shan, some may consider it funny as the god of strength and one of the smartest and most skilled fighters in the world were slightly nervous around the Wakandan Queen. It was true that she carried herself with an air of absolute power and confidence, "A true queen.." Jakkara thought to himself how she resembled her mother and to a certain extent his father. Out of the three of them she was the one most fit for the throne as was evident from T'Shan's bolsterous nature and Jakkara's lack of interest in anything diplomatic. With a smile on his face he spoke to S'Fada.
"My Queen, my apologies but we had to test each other as we did when we were kids."
Jakkara's eye opened wide for a second when he realized T'Shan had blurred next to him and put his arm around him, Jakkara was not expecting this at all and realized that his cousin had been improving at a far greater rate than he thought. It had always been hard on Jakkara since his cousins always seemed to grow stronger while he barely had any control over his powers, even his sister had her own and he felt even more behind this moment. He quickly shook these thoughts as his cousin opened her hands for a hug, Jak had no idea how to approach his cousin now that she was his queen but her making the first step made it clear to him.
"For family we create miracles T'Shan."
He jokingly said to T'Shan while advancing towards S'Fada with his arms wide open he hugged his cousin tightly since it had been a long time they had seen each other.
"Ada.. It's good to see you again you look great, time has done you well."

For Ada, family was everything. It was a reason to get up in the morning. It was also the reason she ran her country with a cool head. She didn’t want her enemies thinking that she’d fly off the handle at any little thing. Of course, being an Asgardian and Wakandan meant that the bonds of family were ingrained deep within her. It would take something so momentous that she couldn’t even fathom it, for her to fight her brother without restraint. She might hold Jakkara at a bit of arm's length, but it was through no fault of his own. That lay on the shoulders of his sister.
Ada shook her head and smiled when they both began explain things to her and making excuse as if she was actually angry with them. ”Peace boys. I am not yelling at you, nor am I even upset.” As @captain would point out from time to time, she did enjoy making an entrance. A queen had to now and again, did she not? ”I know of you two as children. Or do I look so old to you that you have forgotten I grew up with you both as well.”
She put on a fake pout before wrapping her arms around her cousin and matching the strength of his hug. Unlike her brother, who always gave big strong bear hugs, no matter if you were Asgardian, human, or a little of lady, Ada liked to temper her strength. Some would say hide it, but that’s not how she saw it. She just didn’t feel the need to use it all the time.
”Tables and food are already being set up in your honor. And brother, try not to eat the entire pig before anyone else gets any.”

"Aye sister you may not be yelling or angry, yet. But we all know that can change in a moment's notice. I still remember when we last played Monopoly. I believe the small car is still buried in my shoulder."
He said with a smile. He gave a light laugh as he watched Jakkarra hug his sister. Their hugs were so weak. For an Asgardian she hugged very weakly. It was something they certainly didn't agree on. As was evidenced by all the times he'd nearly broken friends in half.
"You may have grown up with us sister but you were always...above us. The soon to be Queen and Black Panther while we were playing with swords in the jungle and nearly running each other through....allegedly."
He said absent mindedly rubbing a spot on his side. When the two broke their hug he rushed over and hugged them each, with one arm around one of them. As he hugged them he picked them up and smiled before setting them down.
"I eat the entire pig one time..."
Skugga came and landed on his shoulder, looking at everyone in the room.
'On at least seven different occasions. Also 12 pheasants, 4 peacocks, an alligator, 5 boars, 9 sheep, 1/3 of a dragon....your appetite ruins parties T'Shan. We won't even start on the alcohol.'
T'Shan looked up at Skugga on his shoulder and shrugged. He has been known to ruin parties with his food. Some people even theorized he should be the God of food and drink, that's not wrong. He would be a solid choice. But he liked wielding an axe. He held his hands out and both axes flew into them before he placed them on his back.

Jakkara tried to put up his best 'puppy eyes' when he looked at his cousin and thought back to what T'Shan had said, it was true that Ada took her teachings more seriously than both of them. While both him and T'Shan were capable warriors they were not interested in ruling from a young age and would much rather play and spar with each other than sit trough those boring ceremonies and parties, much to T'Challa's annoyance. "It is true, if either one of us would have claimed the throne Wakanda would be in ruins I would have neglected all my duties and T'Shan would accidentaly wage war with Antarctica.. No offense cousin."
He enjoyed the hug S'Fada gave him, hers were always so much more softer than T'Shan's who would much more often greet with a wrestling match rather than with a hug. But S'Fada was different from both T'Shan and him, while T'Shan was a powerhouse and he relied on his skills and wits she was more a combination of the two relying on her strength but also on her intelligence to get things done. This was probably the reason that Jak was slightly scared of her.
Jakkara's face showed a shy laugh as she told him that the tables were being set, it had been too long since he had a decent meal that wasn't occuring while he was too busy working on something and even longer since he had a Wakandan dinner prepared by the best cooks in the country. He was looking forward to it.
His eyes fixed on Skugga as he listed all the things T'Shan had devoured and patted his cousin on the back. "You better leave some for me, I don't want to relive my 14th birthday again."
He teasily spoke to T'Shan about the one birthday when his Asgardian cousin had eaten almost all of the birthday cake leaving only a tiny piece for Jakkara. It felt good to relive old memories and Jakkara's face showed a certain hapiness he rarely felt outside of Wakanda.
