As Chari entered the Flash Museum she looked around and shook her head. All this nonsense for some moron in red. Of course should Flash show himself she knew better than to underestimate him. SHe'd seen countless villains do that and end up in Blackgate before they even knew what was happening. Sure she could have fun in some of the prisons but she had no desire to end up there just yet. She stepped through what was left of the doorway only to have a bullet hit her right between the eyes, causing her to collapse in a heap. The girls crowded around her as they scanned for the shooter. Apparently some would be sniper and vigilante was protecting the museum. They were good, but they had to die. The girls knew their mother would recover quickly, she always did.
"Alright, now I'm pissed."
She said with a groan before pushing herself up. The bullet landed on the floor with a rattle. She stood up and wiped some blood off her head.
"I hate trying to get blood out of my hair. Liv, go and get him for mommy."
Liv, disappeared in a green blur and returned holding a would be sniper by the back of his neck.
"Girls, go and have some fun while Mommy talks to this man."
She said before dropping her bag and whip and pulling her Bowie knife from her boot. She grabbed him by the hair with her free hand and began repeatedly driving her fist into his face.
"I was hoping for a challenge."
She said backing up as the man's broken nose began to flow blood. She spun the knife into an upside down hold and prepared for a fight. He looked confused but stood up, his fists ready to fight. He swung at her and she easily pushed the fist to the side and drove a knee into his side. She spun and swept his feet out from under him. She jumped on him straddling him and beginning to strangle him.
"Shh...shhh....let the darkness over come you."
She stopped right as he was about to pass out. With a smile she sliced his face like a big smile cutting his cheeks.
"I hate seeing people sad when they die."

She wanted to cry. In all honesty, ever since she’d gotten him back, that’s all she’d wanted to do. Bury her head in his chest and cry. That was from relief that he was here, alive, in her life again; but she hadn’t because she couldn’t. She was Tessa, leader of her own squad, sniper, mutant. She not only had to be better than any man around her, she had to show less emotion. A weak woman could never lead men. Even if her squad mates had never thought that, she knew command most likely had.
After she’d lost her squad, and began he career as mercenary, keeping any emotion pushed as far down as it could go became even more essential. Women had proved themselves pretty well in the military, but mercs never looked at her as equal, at least not most of them. So emotions were something she never showed. She turned those tears into anger and frustration.
”I’m sorry, Mavrick. I can’t do that.” She slowly pushed her helmet back on, before lifting her head back up, the visor simply white. She launched herself at him, closing the distance between them rapidly. Her wings closed loosely in front of her incase he opened fire. Once she was close enough, she hit him with the wings to knock him off balance before tackling him to the ground.
”Forgive me,” she said as her hands wrapped around his neck. She would squeeze until he was unconscious. It would be easier to transport him this way. She hadn’t wanted to do it like this, but he’d really given her no other option. She had to bring him in. Tessa leaned down when she saw his eyes flutter. ”You may not believe me, but I do still love you, Dean.”

He hoped she would just surrender. Listen to common sense and stand down. Sure she'd be tried as a war criminal, but he had some pull within SHIELD so he could do something. Not much, likely a lifetime on the Suicide Squad at best, but it meant she was alive. He could then get himself placed as a supervisor, it was something. He would've given anything at all to see her get down on her knees and surrender. But he also knew Tessa and knew giving up was not her style. It was one of the things he loved about her and what caused him to fall for her in the first place. Although if he was being honest that was likely her curves more than anything.
As she rushed at him he dropped the cuffs and tried to grab his knife while blocking with his shield. Of course it figures that she'd know his moves, they were close and before this had trained together a lot. He had been trying to convince her to try out with SHIELD officially. Yes he was a desk worker, but he could try something. She managed to knock the shield away before he was tackled. His training kicked in and as he was down he grabbed the pistol from his boot. She was stronger, almost too strong as she began to strangle him. She knew what she was doing, arterial strangulation as opposed to tracheal, less chance of him dying. He brought the gun up and fired a round into the side of her head as the world became fuzzy and darkness began to sweep into his field of vision. He heard her words, although they sounded muffled.
"I...it's...Anthony..."
He grunted out before passing out. His shield and pistol landed on the ground with a clatter.

The shotgun blast did little, other than to garner the horseman's attention. Marty had no illusions that it would have an affect on him. Conventional weapons rarely ever did. But at least he'd gotten the mutant's attention. That alone would buy Mardon the time she needed. He wasn't fond of Mallory Mardon, but Walt was and that was all Marty needed to know at that time. He'd keep her safe, until reinforcements came.
As the Horseman came towards him, Marty fired another round at him. "Beware my buckshot, assclown." Marty ejected and rechambered another round as quickly as he could, opening fire again, before Mistral landed next to him. Mallory must have noticed him and landed on the cruiser. "Me," Marty confirmed. "Just call me Green. It's easier. I forgot to pay the electric bill this month, so I'm out a ring. Flash is also having some performance issues. Hopefully, that's just in the powers department though."
Martin Jordan pulled the gun up to fire again, when Walt appeared from nowhere in a flash of light and crack of thunder. Marty's aim was disrupted by the speedster grabbing him and trying to hug him. All of this caused Marty to go into a coughing fit, followed by him spitting a little blood out on to the pavement. "Yeah, good to see you too, Red. Promise it's not as bad as it looks. I see you're using speed force red? What is that? Like a dollar store knock off of the usual?" Marty looked back as he heard the Horseman's pet mauling a Dark Rider.
The Lantern slung the shotgun over his shoulder and drew the 9 mm. "You two cover our 12 o'clock. I'm going to take the hell hound on our six." He looked at Walt. "That means behind us, in case you can't keep up." Marty took a three point shooter stance and aimed with the pistol. "Oh, and Red? The only thing I feel is recoil today." The space cop exhaled and squeezed the trigger repeatedly, firing off three rounds with a loud roar and the sound of spent brass hitting the pavement.

As Walt leapt forward towards Pestilence, his dispensed of the image of Marty spitting up his own blood.
Doctor later. Fight now.
Walt clenched a fist as he shot towards his foe, swinging it with an incalculable force as he crashed into Pestilence. Each strike produced a thunderclap as he crisscrossed over the mutant, leaving streaks of crimson which faded just as soon as they could be registered. The speed of his attacks culminated in a sequence of cracks, and Walt's final uppercut resulted in him losing his balance slightly. Sliding on his feet, Walt shook his dominant hand and let loose a whoop of breathlessness.
"Man, I am digging this! I ever see that kid again, I gotta ask what else is for sale."
Wind began to swirl around Pestilence's frame, and Walt's head whipped around back towards Marty. And there, of course, was Mallory. Walt was beside her in an instant.
"Wow." His initial response upon seeing her here, (relatively) safe, was paired perfectly with his goofy, joyous smile. "Hell of second date, I guess. Next time you can pick the extinction event." No touching, he thought as he fought the urge to hug her.
Remembering suddenly, he turned to Marty, who was making him damn proud with all the small arms fire.
Walt held out a hand towards his space-cop friend. "Hey, buddy, we really ought to get you-" He spoke before being interrupted.
