Edward was pretty sure he didn't relax until the plane touched down in Francisco. He'd been on a plane a grand total of twice before this in his life. The first time, when he'd been brought to the US, he'd been able to ignore because it was either that or a nice stay in a juvie prison. The second time he'd at least had somebody to bicker with while the plane had been in the air. But apart from that, he'd had no other experience with even short flights. Him and his mum hadn't ever really been the holiday type, even if they'd had the money. And this time the flight was completely self-inflicted. Nobody had made him come. He'd barely even been asked to. He was here because he'd thought it was the right thing to do, and because he wanted to catch up.
Which meant that there had been absolutely nothing to justify his time on the plane, or anything to distract him from it other than an annoyingly chatty woman next to him who had finally shut up after three or so hours of minimal responses for him. It wasn't so much that it scared him, so much as it left him unsettled. He wasn't used to it, and it just felt wrong. But he was hardly clawing at the walls or demanding all the valium on the West Coast to keep him calm.
But he was glad to be off the plane. Apart from anything else, it was nice to be able to stretch his legs and not be cooped up. The person who'd brought him had said it was due to his Lupine instincts, and not ADHD, but either way, being caged just left him restless and stressed. So while San Francisco was definitely a polluted, noisy, rude American city, it was infinitely better than being cooped up in a sterile tube in the air. And now all that remained was to see if anybody showed up. He only had a rucksack with him, only packed for at most two nights, and he was expecting to only be one, before another flight back - yay.
But either way, it'd depend on if any of the Titans had gotten his message. He hadn't thought to send it before leaving, instead sending it while he was on the plane.
'On my way to San Francisco, some stuff's happened, thought I'd catch you up in person.' Honestly, at least partially he'd just wanted the excuse to leave New York after things, but still, he wouldn't mind seeing a Titan, see what they had to say about things.
