"Cuter guys? Just how many are we talking exactly? Like less than 5, more than 10? Do I need a list to be able tell them all apart?"
She asked with a laugh. She knew some girls got multiple crushes. Hell Captain Marvel seemed to have a thing going with Green Lantern and Brother Blood. Those two were insanely different, but she decided against pointing it out. But then again she wasn't the type for crushes like some. Well Jor was a different matter entirely. Which was something she would point out until she passed out.
Once she parked in the back she disappeared and quickly changed. She threw on a pair of tight jeans, red tank top and green Doc Martins. However she kept the red wig on and threw on a pair of Ray Ban's. Sure she was trying to be semi-normal around Cassie, however she wasn't going to go all Roxy either.
She walked into the diner and quickly spotted a non-green Cassie and sat down. She smiled lightly and nodded her head.
"Ya know, I wouldn't have thought your non-green would work, I was wrong."
She said with a laugh.
"This diner specializes in one food, greasy food. I recommend anything unhealthy."
She said as the server came over. Roxy glanced up and smiled.
'I'm guessing your usual Red. What about you new girl?'
She asked looking at Cassie. Roxy shrugged and closed her menu. She was consistent, something her mom had always said. Not the best, but hey, she liked her double bacon cheeseburger with mac and cheese and a strawberry shake. She felt it was a case of sticking with what worked. Once the server took her order she left.
"Ya know, you'd make a good Titan."

”Depends how bad your memory is, Robin.” Cassie shrugged lightly. ”I’m guessing you’d need a list.” She grinned as she said that.
”Well, green is my colour.” Cassie didn’t bat an eyelid at Robin’s costume change. She was very used to far stranger appearance transfers- as she well should be. It wasn’t too bad as impromptu disguises go- at least from someone without similar powers to Cassie. ”Unhealthy suits me. One of the gifts of shape-shifting- I can eat what I like and no-one can tell.” Which was just as well, given some of the “recipes” she’d come up with.
Cassie was looking around her, scanning the environment until right before the server arrived. ”Call me Cassie. I’ll also respond to “awesome” or anything similarly accurate.”
Cassie perused the menu quickly and her face similarly fell as she realised she would have her normal issues. So few places catered to both Kosher and what most people would describe as her “experimental” tastes if they were really trying for a compliment. And with that in mind she ordered a chicken burger, Calamari, corn on the cob and garlic bread, with what seemed to her to be the obvious intent of making a far better burger very quickly, accompanied by a full Coke. Cassie specified “large” in front of all of that. What she got was a slightly curious look, but ultimately no further judgement. People knew not to ask questions at her food choices almost instinctively.
”You’re saying that to someone who makes garlic-breaded chicken, corn and squid burgers at diners.” Cassie gave a slightly pointed look, before leaning back in the seat and looking away briefly, biting her lip, but still being unable not to just talk. ”Heroes are meant to be responsible, and, honestly, that’s pretty much the opposite of me. Hello, garlic-breaded chicken, corn and squid burgers. I’m pretty sure you saw how I act in risky situations, and if you didn’t, I’m not sure how you’ve managed to keep that title- Robin.” Cassie tutted slightly, trying for sarcastic disapproval and achieving precisely one grin. Naturally she had a slightly teasing tone at that. If anyone had overheard, so be it. They’d probably just assume it was the other girl’s first name.
”Huh, it really does feel like I should be calling you something other than Robin, Red.”

"Cassie it is then. However I may end up sticking with Cass. I prefer mono-syllabic names. They simply roll off the tongue better. Plus they're easier to yell when trouble happens, which seems to happen a lot. Of course that could just be the Gotham-ite in me."
She said with a laugh. She was always kind of paranoid and assumed something would go wrong. She did end up in trouble a lot though. Ok, so most of it was her own fault, but still, she wanted to be ready. She knew a fight could happen at any moment, which it usually did. Then again she had a tendency to cause fights. Although that was primarily due to her anger issues.
"Trust me, heroes aren't all they're cracked up to be. They're not all beacons of white in a world of black. You find everyone, well almost everyone, is just a different shade of gray. I am not known to be noble at all. Still, you have enough good in you to be a great addition to the Titans. Just think about it."
She said with a smile. Ok, so getting her to join the Titans was more selfish than anything. She didn't really get along well with anyone. She had a tendency to push people away and start fights. Cassie would be someone she could trust and count on. She needed allies.
"Besides, I didn't exactly have the title of Robin bestowed upon me. More, I saw an opening and said, 'Yup, now I'm Robin'."
She said with a shrug and a laugh. She felt comfortable around Cassie, certainly not something she was with others. She tolerated some but preferred to be by herself.
"Red is fine. We're quite a few steps away from the 'tell all of our secrets slumber party' stage. Actually not sure that stage is even accessible. I mean I wear a mask, clearly secrets are my thing."

”Good. Well, as long as neither you, nor the Waitress is calling me “New Girl”, all’s fine.” Lots of people ended up calling her that, without the yelling justification involved. ”It’s not any Gotham-ite in you. Trouble happens anywhere, just Gotham attracts it stronger than some places.”Well, real trouble happens anywhere but Pittsburgh, it seemed, really, until, of course, Cassie gets herself involved. ”’sides, I think calling me anything along.. other lines at a decent volume might be conspicuous in a place like this. Like… nearly as conspicuous as I naturally am, so very.”
”Well, no. But heroes are meant to be something at least vaguely resembling responsible. I’m pretty sure someone in any shade of grey could be better than me at that.” Cassie smiled a bit at Robin’s description of her moral positioning. ”Noble and responsible aren’t synonyms. And I’m neither of those.” Well, she was probably more noble than Robin, but only marginally if she was.
Cassie snorted. ”Thanks, but no thanks.” She paused only momentarily before expanding. ”Well… if you really do need a shape-shifter, you can call me up. Can I just borrow your phone, or communicator or something, briefly?” Robin could hardly use her as an informal contact without being able to actually call her.
Cassie wasn’t too surprised at that lack of information. Bats had to be a lot better than her at this. ”A first name’s hardly that level. There’s probably several hundred thousand people with your name just in the US. But fine.” Cassie was a little disappointed, however, in Robin’s unwillingness to even have the option vaguely open. That was clear from her face, if not her tone. ”Huh. Well, secrets aren’t mine.” It was interesting to Cassie how that correlation still seemed to apply.
I’m pretty sure that if we met both as civvies, you wouldn’t even tell me.” There was a hint of admiration in Cassie’s tone, but also a notable hint of irritation. It seemed a shame to be able to meet someone as cool as her and not even know.

She was right, Gotham definitely attracted trouble, no one would deny that. However she also had a tendency to find herself in the middle of trouble. Of course it could be argued that she found herself in the middle of trouble because she caused said trouble. It was actually something fun for her however. She knew she would never stop causing trouble and getting in fights. Hell if anything she was pretty much known for it. It was part of the reason the Titans usually had to keep an eye on her.
"Eh don't worry about being conspicuous. That's part of the reason I like this diner. No one really looks twice at you. There's lots of people in here trying to go under the radar. Hell I bet the police or SHIELD would love to raid this place."
She said with a shrug. She nodded her head to the server as she brought their drinks. Roxy meanwhile absentmindedly began to drink her milk shake as she listened to Cassie. She brought up a good point. She was some serious muscle and could be useful in a pinch. Especially if Jor was busy with whatever. Like his little Amazonian chick.
"I'll figure out a way to contact you. You'd be surprised what someone like me is capable of."
She said with a smirk. Ok so she was nothing like some of the previous Robins or really any of the other Bat-family members. They could do almost creepy things. But she was working her way up to that level, it was only a matter of time. She had a point, likely lots of other girls her age were named Roxy in the country. But it wouldn't be hard to begin to narrow it down. Even someone with basic computer skills could figure it out.
"Who's to say you haven't met me before?"
She asked with a sly smile. It was true and part of the reason she enjoyed using the wig. It made it easier to figure out who she was as full head cowls weren't her thing.
"For all you know you've seen me on several occasions. Hell we could be friends on FriendLink for all you know."
Although with the amount of random friends people seemed to have on that site (this universe's version of FaceBook) it wasn't impossible. Only problem was she didn't have a page. Her mom made one for her as Robin, but that thing practically had dust on it.
"But I wouldn't consider it out of the question...down the road."

Cassie was in a bit of a similar situation there, except it was almost a dead certainty that her trouble was caused by herself. Just take this evening, for instance; had she not swooped in after Robin- well, she’d have had a lot less fun punching goons. She already almost wanted to repeat that. Maybe with less dangerous people. Maybe.
It wasn’t exactly Cassie’s fault that smashing up things around her home-city was more entertaining than actually getting her school work done, as was making the few villains who lost their way on the journey to their heists regret that.
”Thank God. I’m always told to try not conspicuous and I’m shit at that. Like, seriously, utter shit. Captain Obvious is less obvious than me.” Cassie glanced around quickly, at the room. It was a little pointless, given she could remember what she’d seen as she’d walked in, but Cassie could see that. ”I’m not gonna bet against ya, sorry.”
Cassie took her coke while barely looking away while talking, and only turned her eyes to it when she’d stopped speaking. She loved that straws always seemed to come as standard.
”… I’m not sure whether that’s cool or slightly cre- No that’s cool. That is definitely cool. How’d ya even-… Nah, I’m bettin’ I wouldn’t understand the techno-babble. I’d rather the bat-family could do that than just… SHIELD.” Cassie shrugged. She wasn’t too keen on surveillance but having Robin here she could see a potential advantage; and not just in boasting she’d fought against a bat (and lost) if she ever got arrested.
Cassie waited for Robin to finish off before she launched her tirade off. ”Statistics. Probably. There’s, what… 320 million American citizens, 305,000 of which live in my hometown, and human memory allows up to about 536 million faces to be stored, instead of other things of course… well, my bet is that If I’d met you without a mask, I’d remember.” She paused just a tiny bit before each statistic. ”You can blame me knowing those stats on… my brother?” The last bit was her gran, and the first two were having actually paid attention in a couple of lessons.
”And, anyway, I doubt about the meeting several times bit. How many times is someone like you gonna turn up in Pittsburgh? Never. Cos nothing awesome ever comes to Pittsburgh… that is unless she lives there.” Cassie said that with a grin. She wouldn’t put them being FriendLink contacts out of the realm of possibility. After all she had- okay she wasn’t that good at mental maths- lots of random FriendLink friends, and on top of that, not having known Robin, she wouldn’t have been paying any special attention to any names.
”I should hope it’s not out of the question. “Is this road long?” is the real question.”
(OoC: And Cassie’s inability to stop talking has been definitively proven.)

She shrugged at Cassie's mention of not being so conspicuous. That was fine with her though. She spent so much time with super heroes that being with someone who was so incredibly obvious was nice. Sure there was Adam, but he had his secrets as well. Adam was a whole other ball of secrets she'd eventually unravel. She had time and she was surprisingly patient, if need be.
"Cassie, I don't think you could blend in if someone paid you to do nothing but blend in. But that's fine, after all the more obvious people like you are the better I am at blending in in comparison. Sometimes the best camouflage is right next to someone who refuses to use it. We could be an amazing team Cass. Power and stealth. We'd make teams like Hawk and Dove and Cloak and Dagger look like weak morons. Just something to think about is all."
She said with a light smirk. She wasn't against a team up. Teaming up with someone like Batman was an obvious choice but that didn't seem very likely. She wasn't opposed to teaming up with someone like Cassie though. She'd be a lot of fun as a partner. Plus the two of them kinda took on Intergang and won, so there was that.
"Well out of fear of scaring you even more I won't go too in depth on just how easy it truly is to do that. But yeah, super easy."
She said with a light chuckle. finding someone's phone number or E-mail address was easy. It was simply a matter of knowing where to look, and Roxy knew where to look. She'd have Cassie's information stored away before the night was even over.
"Who's to say this face is my real face? I mean a nose or cheek prosthetic could be enough to throw off the average facial recognition software and most certainly the human eye. While it would be rather complicated it has merit for someone who wears a simple mask like mine. Besides, hiding in a boring town like Pittsburgh would be the perfect cover."
She probably shouldn't have called her hometown boring but what's done was done. She was almost 100% certain that she wasn't friends with her on FriendLink. Primarily because, well she didn't have friends and didn't really do the whole online thing anyways.
"The road is...complicated, let's leave it at that. After all, I am most certainly not known among the Titans for my charming and welcoming manner."

Cassie didn’t see a huge amount of point in hiding her own opinions, or hiding her identity, or even herself. Her dads hadn’t had the most secret identities, and what was the point of picking up the slack for them if anyone malevolent would still have to get through her, her brother, and almost certainly, her psychologist Grandma? Of course there was the whole thing about being unique, or at least, a rare breed among supers. And that it wasn’t in her nature to hide anything if pointed to it; her uncle’s fault.
Cassie was sceptical about Robin’s idea of camouflage beside her, and her face clearly showed that. But the latter part, she really did like. ”I like the sound of that. I might slightly ruin the subtlety occasionally though. Kinda worth bearing that in mind. But if you don’t mind that, I’m all up for it, s’long as there’s none of the boring team-building stuff.”
Cassie wouldn’t want to be on a big team, but being in a partnership sounded okay to her. She couldn’t really hope for a bigger name than Roxy, given her obscurity. She’d just hope that Robin wasn’t too tetchy about people going at it primarily for fun.
”Well, the NSA’s been doing that for years, so I don’t really think I’d be very surprised by much.” Even if it weren’t super-easy she somehow doubted her ability to hide basic information from someone who hailed the title of “world’s greatest detective.” Heck, hiding basic info from most people. ”I’m not easily scared anyway. I’d rather someone like you knew how to do that than only the villains.” Of course she’d rather no one could. But at the same time, if Robin had asked her for her email address, she’d have given it without hesitation.
”I don’t see ya as the type for prosthetics. Pretty sure it’s easier and better to get your hands on a proper mask. And, incidentally, shape-shifting’s the best way.” Cassie snorted. ”Gonna have to disagree there. I mean, who’s gonna notice a bit more weirdness in somewhere like NYC? And, not gonna lie, it’d be hard for a crime-fighter who can’t fly or run super-sonic to get to any stopable crimes.” Sure cities like San Fran and NYC were a lot more risky, but there was simply too much activity for anyone to pay attention to one teenage hero, and most had large enough populations for anyone to escape notice if they wanted.
”I can make up for the welcoming bit. And who needs charming when you’ve got awesome?”

She had kinda just mentioned that as a joke. But now that it was out in the open it actually sounded kinda good. There were a few teams who'd done some pretty good things but these two could be even better. Sure Cloak and Dagger were alright, same with Powerman and Iron Fist and Hawk and Dove. But the team of Hulkling and Robin could prove unstoppable.
"See that's just it. It works perfectly. You come bursting in through the side door, draw attention. Meanwhile I sneak in through the skylight and we have them surrounded. Besides, why shouldn't we get to have any fun? Why does it have to be the older ones and the guys who get to have fun?"
There it was again. Her issues with men raising their head. Sure some men were alright, but most she didn't like. Ok the only man she really tolerated was Adam, the others were more annoying than anything. But she put up with them like a good Titan, even if she didn't really like it.
"Yeah, never understood why most villains couldn't figure it out. It's not that difficult. Just takes some deductive reasoning and careful observation."
She said with a shrug. Figuring out some heroes identities couldn't be that difficult. Especially since some didn't do a very good job of hiding it. Sort of like Green Arrow and his goatee and being a public figure. Sure she didn't have a lot of proof that he was who he was, but it was a good place to start.
"Everyone focuses on powers. You need flight, teleportation, blah , blah, blah to be an effective crime fighter. That's bull. All you need to do is be vigilant and patient. If it were easy it wouldn't be worth doing. Besides, if awesomeness was all it took I wouldn't have any issues being accepted. Of course I don't see the appeal either. In a few years the team will get split up anyways."
She said with a shrug before all of their food was delivered. Roxy smiled and nodded her head to the server before taking sip of her strawberry milkshake.

”I’m so behind you there, sister.” Of course, Cassie was unaware of the reasoning behind Roxy’s comment there. She just figured she was referring to how many more pairings had two guys as opposed to any other combination. She also agreed with the deal about the older heroes. That was how the original Teen Titans had formed- combatting groups of older heroes who’d messed up.
”Okay, now that worries me.” She minded a lot more if some villain knew her identity than if heroes did. ”Though, I suppose that a lot of heroes only have so many options that they could be. Look at Daredevil. The guys got no eye holes on his mask. Presumably he’s blind, and he’s gonna be jacked up. He’s gotta be rich to afford that weird-ass pole thing and to be able to afford costume replacements. Look for a rich, blind New Yorker, who’s jacked up, and has random bruises on him occasionally, and you’ve found your man.” She probably was just as easy to find, really, given she freely gave out her name to people like Robin.
”Yeah, I disagree that any one power is better than any others, and that you actually need them. Just it makes things easier, right? The Batmen have been one of the most effective hero families, full stop, and, as far as I’m aware, none of you have actually had powers. Wait- is Batmen an acceptable term?” Cassie shrugged. It didn’t really matter, and she liked the term already anyway.
”I never said it was all you need. Awesome just trumps welcoming on my list.”
Cassie didn’t even hesitate before she started reassembling her food into her idea. She nodded and thanked the waitress, not failing to miss the look the waitress gave. It was significantly less judgemental than was normal, which Cassie appreciated. The waitress walked off once she was done. Cassie picked off one of the remaining pieces of Calamari that didn’t fit into her burger, and popped it in her mouth. If Robin was serious, like Cassie assumed, this would be amazing.

"I'm glad to hear that."
There was a serious shortage of solid female teams. Sure there were the Birds of Prey and she'd heard a rumor of years ago an all female Avengers, but that wasn't the same. It seemed like almost every female hero ended up paired with a guy. Mostly as a sidekick and usually dressed sultry, in a revealing costume. Of course she really couldn't argue. She wears what is basically a one piece swimsuit and thigh high boots. While not the best, it helped her.
"Personally I'd like to set up a whole team of women. Something to rival that of the Avengers or Justice League."
She knew she was basically suggesting a men Vs woman war that could really prove problematic in the grand scheme of things.
"Not all costumes are as obvious as you might think. Making an apparent opaque mask you can see through is easier than you'd think. Look at Iron Man. The eyes are pretty much decorative, same with Blue Bat. As for hiding bruises and cuts, it's easier than you'd think. Some good concealer and the right type of clothes and you can hide most things. It's one of the first things I was taught. Now as for the money for his club, well, that could be a variety of things. Favors called in, ingenuity, perhaps he works in a metal refining factory and went to MIT. I have little in the way of education and I created my own bow and arrows. Yes money was involved but I could MacGyver it if necessary."
There were a few misconceptions regarding heroes. All rich geniuses with access to numerous weapons and supplies. It was true for some, like her father and the rest of the Bat-Family. But there were quite a few street level heroes who were just smart and creative. Maybe not genius level, but far from dumb too.
"We prefer the term Bat-Family, and as for powers, some of the newer generation does. Of course it could be training and tech. I mean appearing to have enhanced strength, senses and what not is impossible, just tricky."
She said with a smile before taking a bite of her burger. She then began to dig into her mac and cheese. She then turned her attention to Cassie and laughed lightly.
"Awesome is better. But tell me about ALL these guys who seem to be fawning over you. I mean the Titans seem to be pairing off. Well except for the little Lantern/Marvel/Vampire love triangle going on. That's...awkward. Ever seen a Green Lantern and Vampire try to go all Alpha on each other? It's kinda funny actually. Well until they blow out a window....again."
She'd never admit it but part of her wished Adam would look at her the same way Marty and Sebastian look at Lydia and how Jor looks at Zoey. Sure Jor isn't even aware of it likely but someone with her detective skills can pick up on it.

Cassie totally agreed on the shortage. No way should girls have to be sidekicks just because of their identity. No way should they have to wear skimpy costumes (if they chose to, that was a different matter though. But it would be very hard to believe that the leagues, it seemed, of scantily-clad women all chose to do that of their own will).
”The X-men had an all-female team, once.” Her thinking of only one team who were all female was definitely pretty indicative of what gender ratios seemed to be most times. ”I think there should be another team on that list.”
So what if it turned into Men vs Women? As long as they never descended further than rivalry, it was fine. It pretty much already was that, in Cassie’s mind. Most of the really praised heroes were the guys, and it really was just typical that men got more praise for anything cool they did without having to resort to sex appeal.
Cassie paused for a bit, mulling over what Robin said, before shaking her head. She saw her point, but it still seemed unlikely. ”My explanation is still that he’s some rich blind guy. I don’t think most people put as much thought into their costumes as you must have done from that. And aren’t most MIT graduates employed straight into good jobs? Not necessarily doctors, or lawyers, or anything like that, but at least not at factories?” Cassie was pretty impressed at hearing that Robin made her own equipment, at least for some of it.
Of course there were plenty of misconceptions, but equally, a lot of them had some basis. Cassie didn’t know about the examples, of course, bar Iron Man, but it was easier for someone with a good amount of money to afford all the necessary parts for their equipment, even though it was perfectly feasible and reasonable for someone a good degree poorer to just have a lot more ingenuity.
”I prefer Batmen.” It wasn’t that she’d ignored the preference, just that hers was clearly better as a name. Cassie didn’t want to question too much about the tech-based powers. It did seem pretty cool just from that description that she’d already received, but she knew she’d never get her head round what would be needed even with the best teachers in the world if a bat-person was saying it was tricky.
”Oh yeah, all those guys.” Cassie grinned a little awkwardly. Very awkwardly, really. ”I met one guy in New York at a bank heist. Pretty rad. He had super-strength, great hair and abs, so that’s all good. And there was another at the Flash museum…” Definitely don’t mention he’s a rogue. ”I might have a crush on that one. She grinned more genuinely. ”But Enrique’s not bad himself.” Pretty far from bad. Jeez, she was turning into Billy.
Cassie snorted at Robin’s description of the Titans. It almost made her want in on the team. Almost. Her expression probably made her curiosity about that last phrase clear.
Robin probably wouldn’t envy her and Aaron, if she ever knew. Very few people wanted their relationships to be like that.

She was right though, the X-Men did have an all female squad once. Every now and then an all female team showed up. Sometimes it was coincidence, just they had the specific requirements for a job. Other times they sought each other out. Whether it was by chance or simply for the desire to prove their equality among the male teams.
"Yeah, the Avengers had an all female team, once too. Then of course there's the Birds of Prey. Every now and then I hear a whisper about them getting back together but nothing ever comes of it. Surprising too since there are enough second gen members floating around."
It wouldn't be hard to figure out that she was of some relation to an original member. She'd admit some allegiance to Huntress but really nothing more. Other than that it would take some digging to figure out. She went back to her meal as she heard Cassie's continuing theory about Daredevil.
"Well don't forget with enough intelligence and access to YouTube you can learn pretty much anything. It's almost concerning how much you can find."
She said with a shrug. Trying to figure out how to make, maintain or build weapons from YouTube could be rather simple. Hell she had gone on there a few times to learn some tricks about stringing bows and sonic frequencies for her sonic arrows. It wasn't ideal, but she wasn't the type to ask for help.
"Plus I happen to know for a fact when it comes to X-Ray vision some have scattered lead plates within their costumes to hide tattoos and some hiding nothing. Look for a guy with a large tattoo on his arm when he really has nothing of note on his arm, it works. I mean sure you can't hide an entire identity, but you can make people look the other way."
She said with a shrug. She was oddly grateful when the conversation turned to guys. Not her type but it was still a better topic. Plus she'd learned it was a good way to distract from less than savory topics. Problem was, she had a lot of those floating around her head.
"For the sake of what could potentially be friendship, I won't ask what side you were on in the bank heist."
She said with a light laugh.
"But yeah, Rapidos ain't bad. Not a huge fan of any of the speedsters but as far as they all go he's the best. Laid back, relaxed, pretty much legit. Not just saying that because he's the leader either."
She went to work on her shake which was already beginning to melt.
"I kinda keep to myself I guess."
She realized the irony in that sentence when here she was having dinner with a random stranger. Ok they're not strangers, but not exactly besites either.
(OOC Note: I'm just assuming she referred to him as Rapidos, his codename as she wouldn't know his real name.)

Cassie wasn't really concerned about how an all female team would have been formed (of course she'd rather it be skills) but she would have at least liked for some of the female groups and heroes to get some real recognition. Of course, their gneration was far better than the last for this.."That's still only, what, three all female teams compared to goodness knows how many all male teams?" Having a second generation birds of prey did seem pretty cool to Cassie. She of course had no way to know if that was even a realistic possibility, but if they were in operation, of course they would be a team he would love to encounter. "Yeah, I'm kind of thinking that's concerning. Although, if you could work out how to track people who had watched certain things, you could probably track down dangerous people right?" She had a feeling she knew at least one person who would get tracked from that. She was mostly checking that he wouldn't be tracked down like that. Cassie was silent after Roxy's ideas of costume design. She was pretty impressed by that, and bought time before responding by eating some of her food. "Wow, you put way more thought into designing costumes than most people." Or at least Cassie was sure of that. She had never been aware of anyone having done anything like that before. "I say shapeshifting is a far better form of disguise than having to think out all those details, though." Which was really just Cassie's way of making herself feel better about how much thought she had put in- not much. Similarly, the subject change felt better to Cassie too. It was something she knew far more about. Cassie laughed at Roxy's decision. "Well, thanks. Probably a good call." Although she would have claimed to be on the crimestopping side, the chances of any of the Batmen not seeing through her lies was probably zero, and Cassie doubted that they would continue to get along if that happened. "Oh he's really not bad." Cassie chuckled and grinned. "And I agree with that." Whatever her social commitments, she was not likely to hold back her critique on guys. And she really did agree with Roxy on that, from what she'd seen- at least compared to her uncle. Cassie shook her head slightly. "You say that while in a diner with someone you just met." Not that that she was complaining. "So have you met anybody you like? I mean, if you keep to yourself on the team, is that because of anything - or rather anyone?" She delivered that with the sort of teasing tone of someone accusing Roxy of having a crush. "Or are the rest of the team just that ugly?" Of course Cassie doubted that either of her ideas was the case, and meant it as a tease.
(OoC: I did mean Rapidos. I think I just failed to proofread that properly. Thank you XD)

She had a point, the ratio was still large. of course it was possible the ratio was not by design, but more likely just happened. Of course she wasn't that naive and knew it wasn't often women were left alone. They were usually forced to make a team because they had no other choice. All the male heroes were taken or something along those lines.
"Well obviously shape shifting would be the easiest way to hide an identity. But not everyone has such a nice and fun ability. The rest of us have to rely on things like masks and wings while trying to out smart detectives and people with X-ray vision."
She said with a laugh. Then of course she was asked if there was anyone that interested her. She'd likely never admit it, to anyone including herself. But of course there actually was someone that interested her. But to even say his name seemed so wrong.
"No...no. Well there is one guy. But he's seeing someone. Otherwise the guys are attractive, just not my type."
She said with a shrug. She didn't like the idea of admitting it or focusing on looks. She was there to learn and become a hero. That was it. Yes she could get friends and so forth, but the idea of dating was pointless, to her. She'd had enough with 'love' and 'dating' for a life time.
"But I suppose that's just me. I mean most of them seem to keep pairing off, it's confusing sometimes."
