Here's to being human and taking it for granted
The way he said that 'Aileen seemed like good people' almost made her chuckle. "Oh, Aileen is amazing people. She could work on a few things, no doubt, but you can definitely count on her when you need to. I would trust her with my own life, honestly," she said with a smile. She spoke rather fondly of the red head, but that was to be expected, she was sure. Aileen has been one of her best friends for years. If there was anyone in this team she thought she could trust it would be her. "I'm sure she would love to be friends with you as well. But you may need to work a little with her. She's worth it, though."
Ginnie nodded her head, somewhat happy that they seemed to be on the same page with, well, everything. Her curiosity was piqued about just who he could have in mind for the team. She herself knew that she wanted to suggest, at the very least, Lydia to keep an eye on. Well, Captain Marvel, as it were. She knew the girl and she knew, at least partially, just what she was capable of. It would be good to keep an eye on her. And, of course, Rupert, but she had tried talking him into it several times without much luck. Maybe James would have better results? Didn't matter.
"Do you have any contingency plans for me?" She asked him, leaning towards him slightly, though the scent of the food made her waver and start leaning towards it instead as she made sure the plates were settled. It wouldn't surprise her if there was a plan for her or her suits. Especially with James having those connections to Director Coulson himself. Hell, she half wondered if Phil had some sort of contingency plan for her, though that seemed a little less worrisome than her own teammate having one.
That was something she could worry about later, though. She took a pair of chopsticks with a smile. "I never really understood the problem so many people have with them. Once you use them once or twice, you get the hang of it. Thank you, though. For all of this, actually. I definitely owe you one." She picked up her plate, moving it towards the containers to make it easier to put some on her plate. She knew she had asked specifically for the orange chicken, but everything was just looking and smelling amazing, she ended up picking a little bit from each container. "I'll be the judge of whether it's 'the best' or not," she chuckled.
When she was divied out, she pulled her plate back and picked up a piece of the chicken with the chopsticks, pushing it against the rice to get some on there as well before taking a bite. She had to test it, after all. And, as he had assured, it was absolutely amazing (though it was also possible it just tasted that way because it was the first real bit of food she had to eat that day). She took another bite, bringing her hand up to her mouth quick to cover it while she spoke. "Okay, it is definitely the best I've had in New York." Probably the best she's had in any city in america, actually.
She waited a moment to properly chew and swallow before glancing at James again. "So, Jimmy-" yeah, that definitely wasn't a nickname she was letting go of any time soon. "-care to tell me a little more about yourself? I figure we can leave business talk for after we finish eating."
