As the steel cord snapped, Owen just stared incredulously at it. "Well, f*ck. Knew I should have used something stronger." The audio/visual baffles in the helmet worked nicely. They kept Owen from being phased. He was glad he'd included them in the new generation of helmet. It was good to know he could at least blind the giant, green, rage machine. Even if just for a bit. While the Hulk was busy getting his bearings and swatting around, Red Hood decided it was time to kill an assassin. He moved towards her with menace in his movements.
"Lady, you're f*cking with people I know."
Then the world fell out from under Owen's feet. Literally. The Hulk smashed through the floor and Owen fell into the apartment below with an unceremonious thud. He got up and managed to stagger to his feet, in time to see the green monster punch through that floor too. He didn't care what Nightwing said. This was a lousy job and there wasn't enough pay on Earth to deal with it. There were two floors to go before Hulk hit ground. Owen decided he hadn't had enough stupid plans yet.
Red Hood ran for the window and jumped through it. He spun in the air and fired his grapnel, swinging back towards the building at increased speeds. He smashed through the window of the apartment the Hulk was currently in and decided to draw fire. Literally. He hit the ground and came up in a roll, drawing both 1911's and firing into Ben's face at near point blank range. He didn't think it would kill him. He hoped anyway.

To say everything was going to plan would, regrettably, be a lie. As she found the dots in her vision fading, she was faced down with some idiot in a helmut seemingly trying his best to be oh so terrifying as he stalked closer to her. Trying to put the fear of god or something stupid like that in her as he said, in ever the dark tone, how she was messing with his friends. To which she gave a simple shrug, unphased and, quite honestly, not really caring all that much. If he wanted to try and take her on, so be it. Her fingers flexed instinctively. She could take the anger being directed at her and use it to her advantage with ease. It was the green monster in the room that might make that a bit more challenging.
What seemed to just as quickly fix her situation was when she caught a glimpse past the man to see the Hulk rear up in preparation to smash, as one might say. A small smirk played along her lips as she took another step away to brace herself against the wall. She could feel the vibrations under her feet as he pounded the ground and, before Hood even had the chance to make good on his oh so terrifying threat, the floor broke away from under him. She couldn't help but wave her fingers at him as he fell through. She had to keep herself braced as each punch through a floor shook the building. At this rate, Hulk would take the building down on top of himself before the demolition teams even got the chance to. Which she honestly didn't mind.
What she did mind was the sound of gunshots down below. Had Hood just... she hoped not. Even she wasn't that stupid. If he had, she sure as help hope he went for into the eyes. Speaking of eyes, her own glanced towards the other men in the room. She could do it, be done with all of them and just take her man and go so she could get ready for a rather ruthless interrogation. Or, she could help finish what she started. She had to admit, she hadn't had this much fun getting double crossed in quite some time. And it would be rude to just up and disappear before the man looking to teach her a lesson got to get his own ass kicked. With a sigh, she ran for the hole, jumping into it so she could go down level by level with it, but not without grabbing a backup weapon from the unconscious and dead men in the room for good measure. She stopped her descent at the level just above Hulk and Hood, crouching down by it's edge to watch. 'Should be an interesting show to watch at the very least,' she thought to herself, her eyes focussed on the monster below, her mind slowly trying to formulate a new plan that would still, hopefully, ensure her escape in the end.

The Hulk was almost to the ground, still tearing through floor after floor, when four bullets struck him in the face. The first tore into the creature's left eye, bloodying it, but not slowing him down. The other three ricocheted off the other features of the beast's face. The Hulk roared in pain... but mostly in fury.
He turned in the direction of the shots and found himself faced with a man, guns drawn and prone to escape.
I know him!! The strangled voice of Ben Gerring exclaimed from deep within the mind of the monster, but it was quickly shut out, and the beast charged at the other man in the room.
Bellowing, the monster tore out piece after piece of the floor and furniture around him and hurled it at the man hard enough for some of it to break through the window and land several blocks away. When available ammunition became scarce, he clapped his massive hands together hard enough to create a powerful gust of air. Lastly, the Hulk dashed forward and leaped at the man, intending to carry both himself and the other individual out of the building and plummeting to the street below.

Panic flooded through her as she heard the gunshots. She had no idea what the hell was going on in there, but she knew she wanted no part of it. Which was exactly why she was staying where she was. Because Owen was still inside, and she wanted to make sure he was in one piece. Then stuff started flying out of the building and any of the charges she had stored up rained down from the sky. Lighting struck a few of the flying pieces of debris, turning them into charcoal as they flew.
"Maybe I just shouldn't have gotten out of bed today." She had to get Owen out of there, maybe that other lady too. She caught an air current and flew up a few stories, worrying a bit as the building seemed to dangerously list and wobble on it's foundation with each thundering fist pound. Peeking in, she could see the woman just standing there and frowned. Well. Mal didn't like that one bit.
"Hey! Don't just stand there you crazy broad! Move your ass or help or I swear to God-" The gust of wind from the Hulk's clap blew her back out over the street and she could see Owen in the Hulk's clutches as he exploded out of the building.
"Yeah...definitely shouldn't have gotten out of bed today..." Taking a deep breath, Mal decided to do something very stupid. She dove down, trying to grab Owen's hand, while tossing a snowball at the Hulk's face.

The Hulk's roar filled the air. That was all Owen could hear. Suddenly, his mind was filled with Dinah's voice. 'Guns are not a superpower. Take it from someone who hangs out with super powers'. Red Hood shook it away. "I don't suppose you'd accept an apology? Maybe some sort of fruit basket?" The emerald giant charged at Owen. "Guess not."
Furniture and bits of the floor itself came flying at him. Red Hood dodged and weaved between the flying projectiles, before being clipped by a wooden stool. In the movies, the stools always broke over the actor's back, in real life it was usually the person. Owen felt bone crack as the stool impacted with his arm and smashed into his helmet. It took him a moment to register that his wrist was broken. He looked at it through a cracked set of lenses. If the helmet had not been there, he would have lost his head. Staggered, but not put off, he tried to regain his footing.
The clap had been unexpected it smashed Owen through the remnants of the kitchen island, in a spray of wood and faux marble rubble. He looked up and could now see more clearly, since there was a hole in his helmet over the left eye. He took a breath and felt more pain before coughing a little. Some of the inside of the helmet was splattered with blood. Internal bleeding. It was a good day.
Hood managed to get to his feet just in time to go through the kitchen wall with a giant green cannonball. Not for the first time today, Owen realized he might die. His thoughts, as he looked at the green giant's face, turned dark. It would make Dinah's life less complicated. It would make life less complicated for quite a few people. And then Red Hood felt Mallory's hand on his broken wrist. Pain lit up his senses and things were clear for a moment. Mallory would not die here for him. He threw a cryo-batarang into Hulk's mouth along with the snowball.

Chloe stayed in her little perch, staring down into the hole. Watching ever move, mentally cataloging every single step, and marking ever available exit in her head that she thought she could still use if she needed to. Her fingers curled around the loose and jagged floor boards near the hole so she could lean forward move. Her head started to tilt. If she had any flashbangs, she probably would have tossed one down to give herself her own opportunity. But she almost didn't want to stop the fight below. Why would she? If those two kept going long enough, the whole building would come down on them. That was two witnesses she didn't need to worry about any longer. The only other possible witness that would be left was the girl.
Just as she thought about the girl, she heard the wind outside seemingly pick up. What more, she could feel the immense emotions that seemed to be, in Chloe's own mind, flurrying within that girl start to get closer and closer. The anger from below was easy to deal with. It was pure, unadulterated, it was something she could keep pushing out towards them and work to her advantage. But the emotions coming from the younger one? The one she knew heard yelling at her, they were far more hectic, they almost hurt. Physically hurt. She closed her eyes a moment, both to brace for the wind as her fingers curled tighter, and the mentally try to brace the emotions she had felt coming off the weather witch a moment before.
As they slowly opened again, she realized the men below were gone. Too bad. That meant she had to get a move on. Letting go of the edge, she shifted, turning so her back was to the hole. And then she jumped down. Her story she went down, she painfully grabbed at the edge of jagged flooring and held herself there a moment before going to the next. And then the next. Until she was finally on the ground floor. She had nothing more on her that she could use as a proper weapon and she hadn't thought to grab something. From here, she realized it'd be hand to hand for her. Without missing a beat, she pushed off the floor she had just landed off and took a running start. At least she still had her shukos. They'd definitely help. Just as they'd helped her really dig into the floor boards above.
Running straight for the monster, she slide down in order to get out of Mallory's way while the weather girl tried to grab Owen and she could only really assume she was trying to distract the monster. Making it right under them and the monster, she shifted her weight and used the clawed spikes to slow her slide so she could quickly get back to her feet. From there, it was a quick sprint and a jump to try and land on the monster's back. Her goal was to dig the shukos in, get a good grip. She'd told herself she wouldn't get too involved in this. She'd let them take care of themselves. She supposed she lied.

The Hulk blinked as the girl's snowball exploded in his face. When the Hood's ice weapon detonated, the Hulk let out a frustrated snarl as they plummeted to the ground. It wasn't until he felt the impact of the woman landing on his back that he bellowed with real rage, and by then the voice of Ben Gerring was completely absent.
First, the monster locked eyes with the girl, who had apparently flown close enough to the hooded man to attempt a rescue. Vaguely understanding this, the Hulk flashed a cruel, monstrous smile before shooting out a massive fist towards her body, grabbing and swiftly hurling both she and the man he already had in his clutches downward, hurtling them downward at an even greater speed. They would likely reach the ground in less than two seconds.
As he watched them plunge down to the street, he snarled again, twisting his body so that the woman attached to his back was closest to the ground. Then he clapped his hands together hard enough to blast a wave of air straight upward, shuttling their bodies toward the streetat an even greater speed. With any luck, the four of them would reach the ground only milliseconds before the Hulk landed on them. The monster roared triumphantly as their meteoric descent reached its conclusion.

Panic flooded through Mallory as the massive green fist came at her and she let out a shout. She tried to keep ahold of Owen's hand, keeping him close as they got tossed, hurling toward the ground. The sky above went dark with storm clouds, churning above them as her panic increased. There was no time to think, just to react. She'd fallen from tall buildings before, so landing in an air pocket was second nature to her. There was no amount of finite control over it in her massive panic so it was rather large and uneven, but it kept both her and Owen from eating concrete.
But now they were in even more trouble. The phrase "Hulk Smash!" did not seem so fun when he was about to smash her. Thunder cracked over head as the clouds spun faster and the wind howled and the temperature bottomed out. Tornadoes started to form, touching down around them and joining together, making bigger ones. Mal yelled, putting up her hands in a futile effort to blow the big green monster away. A tornado formed around him, lighting striking it as the hail started to come down in massive chunks and the world around them began to freeze.
Mal knew she had to calm down, had to reign in the natural disasters she was causing, but she couldn't. She was very possibly going to die, so trying to remain calm was a pipe dream. She was running on instinct. She had to move, had to not end up a street pancake.
"Hood! Move! C'mon!" She tried to move them with a small wind current, but in her current state, there was a little more force behind it. They crashed onto the sidewalk unceremoniously.

The rest was all a blur. Next thing Owen knew, he was on the sidewalk, looking out of the cracked remains of his helmet. The mask he wore was battered and the starlite lenses were cracked. Something was broken. He took a deep breath and tried to get up. He saw stars appear when he tried to breathe and then coughed up some more blood. No, make that several somethings. Right. Wrist and Ribs. Might have been something internal too, but the blood was where he preferred it at least. Inside.
Red Hood struggled to his feet and gave Mallory a thumbs up. There was no way he was going to win this fight now. He'd tried to fight off the Hulk and unsurprisingly lost. Owen wasn't actually sure that this was going to end with anything other than his death in the current condition he was in. The Hulk was powered by anger and attacking him was only going to make it worse. Owen ran through a few scenarios in his mind.
After a few moments, he pulled a small silver vial out of his jacket and pressed it to his neck. He threw the vial down and then grabbed the helmet, pulling off the remains of it and throwing it down. The nanites spread through his body, releasing the drugs. Owen felt a surge of power and then a dizziness as his system attempted to re-knit itself back together. He gave a smile and then started to glow.
The pain faded and Red Hood smiled. "Round two. Fight."
