Aileen was leaning against a wall, panting slightly as she looked at the thugs she'd just taken out. Three of them, two guys and a girl. Nothing special, just regular thugs with knives who were attempting a mugging. She'd taken them out pretty easily, and had only had to use one arrow in the whole fight, which was currently buried in the calf of one of the guys. She bent down and pulled it out, taking care not to damage his leg further with the arrowhead, and cleaned it off with a rag. It wasn't like she had a limitless supply of arrows. She carefully inspected the arrow to make sure it didn't have any blood left on it, and then slid it back into the quiver, stowing the rag away in a section of her costume. Well, she considered that her rounds made for the night. Which left her the question of what to do. It was only eleven o'clock, but she'd started early that day, so she felt okay quitting before she usually did. So she just had a few hours to fill before she eventually went to sleep. She went to her communicator, about to see if Ginnie or T'Shan or even James fancied meeting up, and well aware this was misuse of company property, when an arrow suddenly sprouted from it, and she recoiled, a cry of shock coming from her lips. She pulled at the arrow, and hurled it to one side. She was already running back, her eyes scanning rooftops and her heart in her mouth, when she tried the communicator. Nothing but a high-pitched whine came out of it. Great. She already had her own bow out and was going to fetch an arrow when another arrow thunked into her chest. And another. Thankfully, her costume saved her from an untimely death, but she still felt the impacts and it was like being punched in the chest twice. And she still couldn't see anything. She practically staggered back behind some trashcans to use as cover, and notched an arrow, still feeling an ache in her chest. She quickly gripped the shafts and pulled, snapping the arrows out and leaving the arrowheads in her armour. " Where are you?" Aileen asked, peering over the top of the trashcans, her bow at the ready. She didn't know anybody who could shoot like that, and didn't know of anybody who could shoot like that. Hitting a communicator was like her on a good day. She looked around in a full arc, covering everywhere except the alley wall. She still couldn't see anyone. Who the hell was that good? She was about to stand up when she heard another thunk, and saw an arrow embedded in the lid of the trashcan. An arrow she recognised well. One of her own. And something that would screw her if she didn't move right away. She turned and practically threw herself to the ground, covering her eyes as the flash arrow went off. She knew herself how debilitating those were. She was only down a couple of seconds, long enough to protect her eyes, but it was apparently enough time for her attacker. Even as Aileen turned and got to her feet, she saw somebody, somebody with a purple costume and red hair, running towards her. She tried to loose an arrow at her attacker, but her notching had become all messed up when she'd thrown herself backwards, and it went wide. She went to notch again, but now her attacker had her own bow slung over her shoulder and was swinging a knife. Aileen had no idea what the hell the knife was made of, but it certainly did the trick of shearing Aileen's bowstring as she held up her bow to protect her from the first swipe. Aileen's eyes narrowed, and she swung her bow, shifting her grip so she was holding it like a really unbalanced sword. The attacker ducked under the bow, and swiped with her knife again. Aileen turned the swipe with her bow, but when she tried to jab with it, her attacker grabbed the end, winked, and tore it from her grip. Aileen cursed, but ducked in close and swung an uppercut. Her attacked reeled and cursed, and Aileen tried to keep close, not giving her the distance, swinging her fists. For a few seconds she was beating the other girl back, pressing her, but then she felt a hot stabbing pain across her knuckles, and there was blood on her hand and blood on the knife, and on reflex she jerked her hand back sharply, losing momentum. Her attacker's next move was to swing an elbow which slammed into her head and threw her off balance, and then to barge into her, knocking her to the ground. The knife was swung downwards, and Aileen's scrabbling hand closed around something on the ground and she held it up desperately, and the bottle in her hand blocked the knife. Chips of glass flew from it, but it stayed in one piece, thank god. Aileen rolled backwards, landing back on her haunches, and from there jackknifed to her feet. She swung the bottle again, and the knife went flying from her attacker's hand. Aileen stepped forwards, trying to swing her bottle again, but her attacker swept downwards and grabbed a bottle of her own, and before Aileen could quite register it, shards of glass were in her hand and the other girl was wielding a bottle with a shattered, jagged edge. Aileen leant backwards as the sharp bottle was swung, and spun, landing her hand on the lid of the dustbin. She dropped the bottle and grabbed the lid, and shoved it two-handedly at her attacked, catching her in the face. " You bitch!" Her attacked groaned as she spun away, and Aileen allowed herself a tiny sense of satisfaction for the first time in their fight. So that was how James felt when he did it. Aileen stepped forwards, preparing to slam her again, but she felt a fist connect with her head, throwing her off-balance. She tried to right herself, but a thrown cardboard box caught her. It didn't hurt, but it disoriented her. She felt a fist catch her in the ribs, and then another one in the face, and again in the gut. She felt herself drop, and her mask be torn off. She looked up at her attacker, and saw her removing her own mask. And underneath...She saw her own face. " What...?" Aileen began to ask, but a foot caught her in the ribs, and she coughed. She tried to get to her feet, but a foot connected with her knee and she dropped. "I'd just like to say I'm sorry about waiting for you to go for your communicator before shooting it," The...Other Aileen said, " But I'm not. The look on your face was priceless." Aileen coughed and tried to grab an arrow, to drive it into the Other Aileen's leg, but her wrist was stepped on and she flopped to the floor. " And now I'm sure you have all sorts of ideas," The Other Aileen said, " You think I'm a clone, or a trick, or an illusion." She grabbed Aileen by the throat and hauled her to her knees. " But I'm something a lot scarier than that. But I'll leave for someone else to say." Before Aileen could register what was happening, there was a gun in her mouth. Just her luck this had to happen in an abandoned alleyway. " What do you think?" The Other Aileen asked seemingly nobody, " Should I do it, Jimmy?" James Barnes Jr

As the fight took place between the two versions of Hawkeye, winter Soldier watched with interest. They were equally matched in skills, except that his Aileen had no trouble with using lethal force. It was easier to watch the two of them fight. There were no echos surrounding them, unlike the others of this universe. He could see all that they were and all that the could have been, thanks in part to an exploding cosmic cube. All the possibilities of this world were vibrating in his mind. These two didn't vibrate though.
As the battle wound down, the Winter Soldier stepped out of the shadows. His hand touched the other Hawkeye's waist as he moved around her. He examined Aileen on the ground and shook his head. "Hey, we had a deal here. And unless you're finally willing to leave the Asgardian for a better man, she lives." The deal James had made would spare Aileen's life. If nothing else, that would work for him for now.
James looked down at Aileen and then back at the other Hawkeye. "Get that gun out of her mouth. If you were going to kill her, you would have done it already. Now. Stop posturing and do your job." He looked over Aileen, judging her wounds carefully. "Nothing fatal, sweetheart. Now, here's the deal: I'm going to take you with me and she's going to take your place. I'm sure you want to object, but if you do, I'll be sure to put the Stark girl up there on my list with Captain Target Practice. Deal?"

Hawkeye grinned as James, her James, not the pale imitation in this universe, stepped out of the shadows towards them. How very like him to be practically close enough to touch without either of them even knowing. It was almost admirable. Would he have stepped in if, in an unlikely twist, she had started to lose? Surely he would have, he had a lot riding on this. Not even her safety, although she was sure he cared about that. No, he had their deal on the line. "Oh fine," Hawkeye sighed theatrically. The deal was fair. She'd gave James something that he'd desire as much as he did her, even if it wasn't nearly as good, and in return, he'd stop pursuing her. Well, hopefully he'd still pursue her for one night. It was good fun when he did that.
"You can be the better man for one night," She told James with a wink, and smiled as she felt his hand slipping around her waist. She slowly trailed her hand down his arm, and then slapped it away. Nobody said she had to make things easy. "But if you're looking for something a little more long-term, I think your best bet is on the floor here." She nudged Aileen with her foot, not quite a kick, but hardly a loving tap either. She sighed again and slid the gun from Aileen's mouth, wiping it before she put it back in its holster. James was right, she wasn't about to shoot her alternate self. She wasn't even sure she could bring herself to. "You didn't mind some of my posturing for you," She said to him teasingly, and then she was more serious. "Fine, I'll take her place, but you'd better be replacing Captain Shot-a-Lot soon. I know I've got Berzerker over here, but a girl can still get bored."
When Aileen had heard James' voice, her heart had risen. She'd thought there was hope, that James was going to kick this imposters' ass. But then she'd heard some of what he was saying, and it had sunk, sunk all the way. He was saving her life, but with all this talk of a deal, it hardly sounded positive. Her throat was released enough for her to talk. "Who the hell are you?" She asked them, "Why do you look like me and James?" She'd been told they weren't clones, but that was all she could think of. She had a thousand more questions, but they were cut off as the person that couldn't be James spoke again. "Don't hurt Ginnie," She gasped instantaneously, "Don't you dare. Or James. Or T'Shan." She'd guessed James was the one they were talking about, and it made her blood boil. She glared at the Not-James, looking him in the eye. "What the hell do you want with me?" She couldn't hide the fear in her voice.

As Nega-James watched the scene unfold, he chuckled. When his Hawkeye slapped his hand away, he looked at her and grinned. "I'm always the better man, sweetheart. That's why you keep coming back to me when you get bored with that barbarian. I keep you entertained." He leaned over and planted a kiss on the evil Archer's jaw bone. He knew that as long as she was hung up on the Asgardian, she'd never be his.
"Yes, well, your posturing is usually fun. But I don't think you're looking to get laid in an alley in front of your doppelganger. Or maybe you are. That moron has been over here for awhile." He shot his Aileen a little smirk designed to taunt her. Nega-James knew that she had been frustrated that T'Shan had been over here for all this time. She'd denied him several times when he tried to make a move on her. Winter Soldier was just feeling a little bit vindictive today.
James leaned down and brushed his hand against Aileen's cheek. "I'd rather not tell you. I never liked monologuing. As for your friends, no one has to get hurt. We just want your universe. I'll spare all of you. And you? What I want is for you to be my Queen and rule universes by my side."

Hawkeye couldn't help but smirk as he grinned at her, but her next words were anything but friendly. "If you're the better man, why do I only come to you when I'm bored?" She asked him cruelly, and went for an almost sweet smile, "You're usually one night's entertainment." Despite her words, as he kissed her jawbone, she turned and tilted her head so her lips were pressed to his, and gently bit at his lip as she pulled away. What Hawkeye didn't tell him was that if T'Shan were out the picture, James would be more than enough for her. Nobody ever said she had to be consistent. Aileen, for her part, was fully aware that she couldn't take the two of them, and despite nobody holding her down anymore, decided it was best to stay still and avert her eyes from the sickening scene.
"Well, it'd be a wonderful way to mess with her," Hawkeye said, her controlled demeanour wavering slightly as she felt the recently all-too-familiar twinge at James' words, and it took her a concerted effort to say, "But right now, even after T'Shan's been gone a year, I'd like to see you try getting me up for that." It was more a matter of pride that she refused him now, even with a hint of challenge thrown in. It wasn't like she didn't care for James either, but she knew he was just trying to get one over on her now for refusing him a few times. She'd have been perfectly friendly if it wasn't for that. Well, that and the smirk she knew that he knew she liked.
Aileen could tear her eyes away from the scene, but she didn't dare block her hearing in case somebody said something important that she'd miss, which meant she had to hear the entire horrible exchange. And then James, this James who was clearly not James, laid his hand against her cheek, and she tried to twitch away from it. "You might as well tell me," Aileen said. She thought about threatening to not go with them unless they told her, but she doubted they cared much about her going along with it. "My...universe?" She asked, looking confused, "You're insane." And then he dropped the bombshell, and some things clicked into place. Did he want Aileen? The other Aileen? And if she'd rejected him, he'd gone...her stomach flipped at that thought. "And why would I do that?" She whispered. But at least he'd promised not to hurt her friends.

The kiss was unexpected, but it set Nega-James' heart racing. He hadn't been with Hawkeye in awhile and clearly she wanted to taunt him too. He took control of his urges and reined his mind in. "If he's the better man, why do you get bored, love?" He heard the slight slip in Hawkeye's control. That gave him some satisfaction. He knew that Hawkeye needed him as much as he needed her sometimes.
His smirk broadened. "Well, it's not the worst place you and I have ever done it. I can think of a few favorite spots." If Hawkeye wanted a challenge, then he'd push all of her buttons. Even if nothing came of it, then he'd make her regret that she ever challenged him. Winter Soldier leaned in and traced Hawkeye's lips with his tongue. "Just remember, sweetheart. At some point, your counterpart here is going to come around. And then maybe I'll just cut off your Soldier privileges altogether. Then you're going to need a battery powered arrow." The smirk was there again. This time, it promised wicked things for Hawkeye. Just because Winter Soldier had her doppelganger didn't mean he wasn't in the mood to celebrate with his Aileen. He pulled away from Hawkeye and went back to Aileen.
"Insane? Well, a little. I was on the business end of cosmic cube when it blew up. I haven't been right since. As for the why? Because you deserve to be someone's queen. And I want the chance to earn your love. No one has to get hurt. No one has to die. You just have to come with me and let me make my sales pitch. How does that sound?"

James tried to hide it, tried to control it, but Hawkeye could hear his heartbeat pick up as she kissed him, even as she pulled away. He could claim he didn't care either way, she knew she could set his heart racing easily. Not that the kiss hadn't had an effect on her either, but she'd at least prepared for it. "Everyone bores me eventually, Jimmy," Hawkeye said, trying to keep her voice controlled and level, "It's why I need someone else to keep me occupied for one night. Someone like you. Maybe a weekend, if you're lucky." There had been some great weekends, however.
"It's true, this isn't too bad in comparison," Hawkeye said, as if she were thinking about it, "But that's only because you never could resist sticking a hand down my pants." She almost regretted challenging him about this in the first place, because she knew how much he hated losing. And also because she was now thinking of some of his favourite spots. Man, he could be a real asshole sometimes. Those thoughts only increased as she felt his tongue on her lips, and she couldn't resist stealing another kiss. What a dick. But then she pulled away slightly as he spoke. "I think we both know you won't do that, Jimmy," She almost crooned, "Even if she comes around, your mind will still wander, and you'll still think of me." And then with her next words, she decided to be bloody, "And besides, a battery-powered arrow would serve me about as well as you do. Both in terms of satisfaction and personality." Now she was just being cruel, but well, she'd laid the challenge, she had to follow through. And then he gave that stupid fucking smirk and she had to bite her lip. Damn him.
Aileen just sat there, looking away from the grotesque spectacle. Sure, the James she knew was fun for a bit of flirting or to wind Ginnie up, but never anything like this. Never....Just never. She stayed quiet through his explanation of madness, but looked up as he said what he properly wanted. "Why me?" She asked, "Why do you want me to love you? Especially after this?" She neither looked or sounded very certain, as her next sentence proved. "Just....don't hurt the others. Don't hurt the others, and I'll listen to your pitch." This whole situation was ridiculous and insane. Clones, queens, universes? What was going on?

This game would be getting old to most by now, but Aileen and James were skilled players. They'd mock one another say venomous things and then kiss and make up rather vigorously at the end of the day. James gave her a wicked grin. "You've never complained about my hands before. I do seem to remember you saying no, stop, and don't but they were all in a different order last time." He let the Archer steal a kiss from him. James didn't really mind that at all.
"Oh, stop flirting. You tease. You and I both know that if I didn't satisfy you, you'd stop coming back to me. Hell, you wouldn't even look at me the way you are now. Which is the way I look at a steak dinner." James kissed her roughly when she bit her lip, stealing a kiss of his own. "How about you and Lydia and I get together this weekend? She's always wanted to kill you least. She'll wear that nurses outfit you like so much." Game. Set. Match.
Then James looked at his watch. "Well, we're on a timer here, lover. How long before the Avengers notice you're gone do you think? Just because I want enough time to make it up to you when we're done here." He looked down at the other Aileen. "Why you? It's a good question, I suppose. Well, you see. The Cube left me with some strange abilities. I can see all the possibilities a person has around them. I guess, the best way to put it is all the alternate dimensional versions. There's a catch. It hurts to look at them. The more versions, the more pain. You and a few others don't have that issue. For whatever reason you're one of a kind. And it doesn't hurt to look at you the way it does most others. Also, I'm being rather up front, which is more than you'll get from most men. I don't play coy."
When Aileen said she'd listen to his pitch, James grinned. "Good. We should be leaving soon anyway."

Despite the situation, Hawkeye couldn't resist grinning back at James in an equally wicked fashion. One day, she might come out on top in this contest, but short of giving them both blue balls, she didn't have much of a way to do that. "If your hands are so perfect," She began, "How come they're just floating around there instead of doing something?" She actually tried to downplay the suggestiveness of her tone there, because the comment was more than enough. She was just looking to interest him, but every word brought the twinge back. Her voice was slightly more level that time, however. "And no, don't stop? Who knows what I'll say to keep a boy interested for a night?" Now she was just looking for cheap shots. The grin still on her face probably ruined the effect, however.
"I never said you didn't satisfy me, Jimmy," Hawkeye reminded him with a tap to the nose, "I said a battery-powered arrow would do just as good a job as you. And it'd probably have about as many rewarding conversations." God she was pushing it with that one. "I'm not looking at you like-" She was cut off by a sudden, almost violent kiss from him, and one that he pulled away from before she could respond in kind, leading her to involuntarily lean into where his lips had been and look like she was trying to keep it going. Damnit. But then, trying to recover from that, her interest was piqued by his words. "You and Captain Marvel together?" She asked, "Well, being double-teamed by superheroes sounds fun, especially if she's wearing that." She could definitely leave for a weekend. She doubted Ginnie would mind if she took off. Ginnie never did.
"Lover?" She snorted at the word. Lover implied something more serious than a little steam being blown off. "And you're assuming I'm going to let you make it up to me."
Aileen wasn't looking away this time, as she was trying to read James' face as he talked about her, about her fate, and so she had to watch the entire thing, feeling sick to her stomach. "So you love me because I don't give you a headache?" She asked, her tongue stumbling on the word 'love'.

The wicked grin Hawkeye was returning was driving him mad. "I am trying to keep my hands to myself, because we probably won't have the time I need to exactly my slow and torturous revenge on you. And once I start, I am not a fan of stopping." He took a moment to get his senses about. "I don't know. You've never had a problem with the boys or the girls. You know exactly how to interest someone."
James liked the way Hawkeye leaned forward after he broke their kiss. He chuckled just a little bit at her frustrated look. "If you wanted conversation you'd stay more than just a night." He could tell his other comment got her attention. "Oh, yes. Just like that one weekend the three of us had together. I thought you could use a break and I know that she does."
There was just a shrug. "I don't know. It rolled off the tongue easier than anything else I had. It was much politer too. And if you're not in the mood, fine. I just thought I'd make the offer. I know it's been awhile." This was always the game between them. They would tease and tease until one or the other cracked. James knew this was part of her game. Drive him crazy for her and then leave him high and dry. He expected that. But he wanted to win the game for a change.
The brushed a little of Aileen's hair from her eyes. "That's an extremely simple way of looking at it. I love you for many reasons, but it doesn't hurt that you don't make my mind split open every time I look at you. Your beauty, your wit, your mind. All of those appeal to me. But as you can see... your counterpart has other 'interests' and can sometimes be a bit of a tease for her own amusement. Whereas, you're a little different."

Hawkeye could see how much of an effect her grin was having, so she kept it up as she very deliberately looked James up and down, trying to mess with him as much as she could without touching him. She'd consider it revenge for the kiss he'd so cruelly aborted. But then he spoke, and it took quite some effort to keep her grin from wavering. God, he was an asshole sometimes. "I think you're just afraid to put your ass where your mouth is," She told him, "I think you're just talking big because you can't live up to a slow, torturous revenge." She knew very well that he could be very very slow and torturous, but it was fun to just needle him. Of course, if she pushed him too far, there was every chance he would take his revenge right there and then, doppelgänger or not. It'd probably just add to his enjoyment of the situation if the other Aileen were watching, actually.
The chuckle just made Hawkeye glare more. She knew he got a kick out of playing her, and she could hardly judge him, as she was trying to leave him high and dry here. Unless one of them took it too far and they did just work out their issues right there. "It's true, your mouth has much better uses than a chat," She told him, trying to act like it wasn't very obvious what she meant. But yes, he definitely had her attention with the mention of Lydia, and she couldn't help but smile a much more genuine smile at the thought. "That was a good weekend," She said with a happy sigh, "It's definitely fun getting double-teamed by the two of you." She didn't even care that they were siblings. She just cared that they were good at what they did. Namely, her. And he'd thrown her again with talking about the offer. "I didn't say no," She said, much too quickly. Had he gotten better at this since she last saw him?
This was just getting worse and worse the more Aileen heard of it. Not only was this other version of her playing with this other version of James, but his sister as well? It was just...wrong. And then she swallowed as he talked about love. "You don't know me," She whispered, but he clearly thought he did. He seemed just a little...well, mad. "What do I have to do?" She asked

Nega-James gave Hawkeye a little grin. "You and I both know that my enhanced stamina means that I can draw my revenge out as long as I need to." Then the Winter Soldier looked over Aileen's injuries attempting to make sure that she didn't have anything life threatening. Hawkeye could go a little too far when it came to being rough. After a moment or two, he realize that Aileen would live. None of her wounds were fatal. "I'm going to try to dress a couple of those wounds, so that you'll be able to travel."
"Yes, well, darling, your mouth has always had better uses than chatting." A little smirk crossed his face while he attempted to dress a few of Aileen's injuries so she would be travel-worthy. He removed first aid supplies from his belt and went about his work. "No, I suppose you didn't. You should make up your mind though. Marvel and I are meeting up, regardless. So, whatever you feel like, darling."
There was a slight chuckle. "Of course I know you, Aileen. Your life is very similar to your twin here. Events might differ slightly here and there and maybe you're a bit of a better person then her, but that doesn't take much." Nega-James brushed his hand against her cheek. "All you have to do is come with me. See what I'm offering. That's all. Maybe realize that I'm not all bad." He gave a soft smile to her.

Hawkeye couldn't resist returning James' grin with a coy, teasing smile of her own. She wasn't going to let him one-up her. Not here, not now. "I'm not questioning your stamina," She told him, keeping the teasing smile up and lowering her voice, "I've experienced that far too many times for any doubt. I just don't think you've quite got the....balls for an interesting revenge." She decided to step the game up slightly and, as he started to tend to Aileen's wounds, she moved closer and started to run a hand up his thigh. Nobody said she had to play nice. For her part, Aileen recoiled as far away from the hand as she could without disrupting what James was doing. "We're going to be travelling?" She asked James, trying to hide the quaver in her voice, "I don't know if you realise, but I'm...visible." There were perks to celebrity.
Hawkeye chuckled as James mentioned when he preferred her mouth. "I'm pretty sure you like my mouth well enough no matter what it's doing," She reminded him, and made an effort to avoid looking at her duplicate as she ran her hand further up James' thigh. Doing something like this in front of a double of herself seemed weird even to her. "And I think I will come see your sister. It's always so much fun with the two of you." She was practically purring by the end of her sentence.
Aileen just squeezed her eyes shut as the other James treated her wounds and tried to ignore the horrific conversation the two of them were having. It made her sick to her stomach, but she consoled herself that she might be buying safety for Ginnie and James and T'Shan. She opened her eyes when he spoke, however. "You've never met me," She told him, her voice little more than a whisper. She was nothing like this evil, perverted version of herself. "I'm a much better person." She forced herself not to shudder as he brushed her cheek, and didn't reply to what he said.

"You've never experienced my kind of revenge, sweetheart. Don't test me. I can tie knots that you can't escape."
The wounds were all dressed and treated. Aileen would be okay for the moment, until Winter Soldier could get her lasting treatment. A small notification triggered on Nega-James' mask HUD. The Titans takeover was in play. Lydia would serve him well in her role. She was not the kind to tolerate failure either. Nega-James offered a small smile to Aileen. "I know you are, darling. That's why we're going to use a teleporter. So, your beautiful face doesn't have to be seen everywhere."
"You are a much better person. That's why I want you. She's too distracted with Asgardian play toys and failed relationships with Iron Woman to be a good mate for me." After a moment, he removed Hawkeye's hand from his thigh, standing up. He moved close and grabbed Hawkeye's inner thigh, before whispering in her ear. "If you keep trying to distract me, it's going to be rough, forceful and right here, sweetheart. I don't much care if your doppelganger sees." He gave Hawkeye a rough kiss again and then pulled away, turning back to Aileen.
"We should be going soon. The plan is in motion. There won't be much time."

"I've experienced the rest of you," Hawkeye said coquettishly, "Everything else you have to offer. I don't see why your revenge would be any less fun than that." Although his mention of knots she couldn't escape sent something of a thrill through her, "That sounds like a challenge." Which was only partly the reason she sounded interested.
Aileen was sitting rigidly so Evil James, as she was dubbing him, would be able to finish bandaging and cleaning her wounds. It stung, but she'd had far worse wounds treated on the battlefield before, and Evil James was being surprisingly careful. Maybe he was serious about wanting her to love him. Which made it, in her opinion, far far worse. Especially given the conversation he was having with Bitch Aileen, as she'd dubbed her. "Shut up," She whispered, but quietly, not wanting either of them to really hear her.
She then absorbed what he'd said, and looked up at him, her eyes full of fear. "Her and Ginnie?" She asked, her voice barely more than a whisper, wondering how on Earth someone like a Ginnie Stark could ever fall for a girl like this. Her Ginnie certainly wouldn't. "But..." Aileen began, but she honestly wasn't sure what to protest about first, and she doubted she could make this nutjob listen to her anyway. And then she wondered if she could get information out of him to give to Ginnie at some point. "Plan? What plan?" Her voice was a little bit more confident.
Hawkeye wasn't done yet, however. She returned the kiss even more fiercely than James gave it, but pouted when he pulled away, letting go of her thigh. What he whispered had her interest piqued, however, and she knew she was going to test him. As he turned to speak to Hawkeye's goodie-two-shoes prissy bitch alter-ego, Hawkeye moved up behind him and moved her mouth to his throat and began to kiss and finally bite at the skin, gently tugging it with her teeth. "I think you're all mouth and no balls," She told him, and, despite her misgivings, winked at Aileen as she nibbled again, "Which actually works out pretty well for me. Just means you don't go through with things." Aileen could only recoil and shut her eyes again.
