Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky Dahlia was lying down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling of her room. Everything in here was hand-painted by her. She hadn't been too keen on the idea of her room being so plain, so dull. She had wanted a colorful room and she'd made hers just that. Her room was pretty much painted to look like someone was walking through a field back on Earth, or what she remembered of them at least. Some of the colors were a bit off, so used to the revenues of space and other planets where she had gotten the chance to go with someone. The grass, while primarily green, was tinted blue, some of the flowers she'd painted were rainbow in color, and the tree off to one side was painted with what looked like light purple apples. For the most part, though, everything looked like it should, even with a few odd colorations here and there. The ceiling that she was staring at, though, that was the true masterpiece. Sure, her room was beautiful, but that ceiling was what she liked the most. Simple and true in it's resemblance of the sky, it was done with oranges, reds, and pinks to represent the setting sun. Wispy clouds that she liked to imagine were moving across the sky littered it. Some appeared to make fluffy shapes, though everyone who looked at them seemed to always think something different. Just like a real cloud. Just like she wanted it. It was that skyscape that she loved to stare at so much, yet right now? It just didn't seem right. It was usually so calming yet at the moment, she felt restless. She had tried drawing earlier but ended up with a pile of crumpled up papers on the floor, not able to get anything right. She had tried cleaning, which had done well to distract her for a while, but she'd gone through it so fast that she didn't really seem to think it was worth the time. She'd even tried seeing if anyone around Knowhere needed help with anything but all of that was for not. So she thought, perhaps try and relax in her room. But that wasn't really helping one bit. Dahl kept fidgeting, not even creating small constructs to distract her seemed to help. Perhaps it was because she needed to be more active, though she didn't think that was the case. She was almost constantly moving, after all. Why would it be that? No, she knew exactly what it was making her so restless. Her head turned away from her ceiling to look towards her window. She could see the beautiful vacuums of space right outside of it and she longed to be out there, longed to explore, longed to find her way back home. Wyatt and Jamie got to go wherever they wanted, got to be apart of the Guardians of the Galaxy. They'd earned it, but she would likely have years before her mother would actually allow her to be a real hero. She just wanted some fun, wanted an adventure, a story to tell her siblings. But she was supposed to try and be good, right? Earn her privilege just like Wyatt and Jamie had. But there was a small thought in the back of her head. 'What momma doesn't know,' she thought. Deep down she knew it was wrong but as she hopped off her bed, she realized that, so long as she was back before anyone noticed she was gone, she couldn't possibly get into trouble! She changed to do it, too, into something more form fitting and dark before she'd started to sneak around Knowhere until, finally, after what felt like half an hour (though, that was probably more so due to her nervousness about getting caught), she found her way Continuum Cortex and, while it took a lot of concentration to keep herself invisible, she was able to make it out of Kowhere. She felt so free out in the vacuums of space and a bright grin spread across her lips as her invisibility wore off so she could fly, freely, through the stars. Just where she would go before heading back to Knowhere, she didn't know. Perhaps she would stay close, or maybe she would find her way to some seemingly deserted planet, have a real story to tell. Or, even better, maybe she'll make a friend out here! Oh, wouldn't that be exciting? "It's so nice to be free!" she giggled to herself, moving through space without any real agenda. She just had to remember to try and be back before anyone started to ask any questions. Shining how we want, brighter than the sun

"Space, the final frontier. It's vast, it's beautiful and it's....BORING."
A'Jax said in Glider form as he soared through the vast emptiness. He was heading towards Knowhere, primarily because he knew the Guardians hung out near there. He stood there calmly as he flew, zipping past the stars and asteroids. Of course in the grand scheme it was likely very slow. It was times like this he pondered things, or had conversations with Idris, his AI system. Now was one of those times and they were currently discussing Firefly.
"No, the movie sucked and I don't even want to count that."
Buzz.bzzz......bz....bzzzzzzzzz
"Ok yes, sometimes I use the leaf on the wind thing, but that doesn't meant I LOOOVE the movie."
Bzzzzzzz..bzzz.bzzzzzzzzzz.bzzz......bzzz
"How did you even learn that word? I never programmed that into you?"
Bzzzz.....bzzz.bzz
"Figured, you and your reality shows."
He said shaking his head. He began to move back and forth, sliding around as he dodged debris. He raised one fist and fired two blasts, destroying the debris that was in his way. He continued on his way and soon noticed Knowhere, about 5 miles away, give or take. He smiled lightly and leaned forward, speeding up. As he flew he noticed something off to the side. He focused his senses, trying to figure it out. But he took his attention off the sky in front of him and caught a small piece of debris to the head. He was knocked off his board, backflipping away. He whistled to his board once he righted himself. One eye was damaged and he knew fixing it could prove a pain in the butt. He could fly without the board, just preferred it. It was faster and it just looked cool. Majority of what he did was primarily based on how it looked. Was it shallow? Yes, but he was ok with that. He got back on the board and chameleon cloak of him looking like a normal person, minus his now damaged eye, faded and was replaced with his all gold form. He glanced over his shoulder and picked up on a ship coming up behind him and moved over.
Bzzz...bzz...bz.bz.bzzzz
"I'm moved over enough..."
Which was true, he was moved over more than enough. Hell the ship likely didn't even notice him. Problem was he himself also didn't notice what was near him. He was examining the ship when he ran into something soft and squishy. Luckily he didn't get damaged or go flying but he'd hit two things in under 5 minutes, terrible record.
Bzzzz.....bzzzzz...bzz...bz
His board vibrated and he rolled his eye.
"I know, I know. Look where I'm going Idris, first rule."

Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky Dahlia did a little twirl as she evaded a small bit of debris heading her way. These little things were so easy to just dodge, to fly around, no matter what kind of speeds she may go at. Though she did start to slow down as she swore she caught sight of something else flying towards Knowhere in the distance. She let out a small eep at it. Oh no, was it a Nova? A Lantern? One of her family? There was a small list she was going through in her head, trying to figure out just how much trouble she was going to be in. Except, she could only get into trouble if she got caught, right? So she just had to not get caught! She closed her eyes a moment and focused back on that invisibility. It seemed to be a little more difficult out here, but she somehow managed. Ah, so much better. "Can't catch what cannot be seen," she whispered. She would just have to make sure to turn herself around and get back into Knowhere sooner than she had originally wanted to. She was starting to fly slowly away from the person, not wanting to risk getting caught by anyone. She was pretty sure most of the people who were frequently going in and out of Knowhere knew to keep an eye on her, or, at the very least, that would be her kind of luck. Because she didn't already have enough bodyguards as it was. However, as she was trying to fly, the sight of the ship caught the corner of her eye. The other person, while still not completely clear to her, might be in trouble. She couldn't bare to see someone get hit by anything out here when she could stop it. She turned about quickly and started to fly back, trying to make sure she stayed out of the ships way. It passed over and by her without ever noticing. Then again, how could it? She wasn't exactly visible at the moment. She slowed to a near stop whens he realized the other thing was out of harms way, though a small bit of curiosity was starting to pick at her. Sure, she saw plenty of things that looked less than human almost constantly. Actually, she was pretty sure the only real human looking people she even knew were her family, and that seemed questionable at times. She lost her focus for a moment, she'd admit. Had she not, she might have been able to prevent herself from getting flown into. She let out a small eep as her invisibility wore away. She flew a few paces back before hovering there, looking over herself to make sure she was fine before turning those ice blue eyes towards the... golden thing? "Who are you talking to? Is someone around here that I'm not seeing? And are you okay? I think that ship almost hit you!" There was a barrage of other questions filling her head but she kept them to herself. She didn't want to overload the thing. After all, it might not be able to keep up. 526 | @glider | Eh, not my best, but I hope it's okay~ |

Space distorted and suddenly a stargate exploded into existence. It took a few moments to stabilize and then the stargate opened and a Nova Centuriion came screaming out into real space in a streak of glowing gold and blue. "Status report, Worldmind."
Charles, the Khund Battle Group followed us through hyperspace. They should be reverting to real space any moment now.
"D'ast. I was hoping they wouldn't follow me home. Tell me something I didn't know." He started moving in a direction towards Knowhere to alert Cosmo and the rest of the station to the impending attack. "Full Gravimetric to fight systems. Petal to the metal."
Charles, I do know something that you do not. Dahlia Andrews is currently outside Knowhere with one other life form. I just detected them and am sending the coordinates directly to your visor HUD.
"Well, good. Guardians are off site and Dahlia's outside playing fetch with who knows what kind of Elder Horror. Is it Tuesday again? Set a course for the squirt." Just then space lit up as Two Khund Battlecruisers and 3 smaller support craft dropped out of hyperspace. Charlie was really looking forward to the cavalry. Unfortunately, he was the cavalry today. "This is Centurion Charlie Rider to Knowhere. This is an 8X8 Emergency. We have visitors. Dahlia Andrews, if you can hear me, do not move. I'm coming to your position and I might kill you if they don't. Just so you know."

Firing off a shot, Jamie jumped out of cover and bull rushed her way through a small cluster of guys, Pete and Rocket right behind her. This was the last little pocket of resistance they had found on this blasted ship that had been overrun by pirates. Everything seemed to be going pretty well. Of course that's when everything decides to fall apart somewhere else. Hearing the 8X8 from Charlie come in from Cosmo at Knowhere, Jamie sighed and kicked one guy in the chest, sending him flying back into a wall and knocking him unconscious. Pete and Rocket could handle the clean up, It seemed like they needed a hand back at home. The last part of his message of course is what caught her attention, and sent her into protective big sister mode. Dahlia, outside, with unfriendlies. Oh she was in so much trouble.
"Pete!"
"Yeah yeah, go. We'll be there when we can. Always leaving us to clean up, Andrews.'"
"Ah shut your yapper," Jamie shot back as she dialed up the Continuum Cortex. In an instant she was back on Knowhere and bolting for her motorcycle. The engine roared and she was outside in an instant, scanning for Charlie or her sister. Then she saw the Khund battle cruisers and their support craft. Oh this was going to suck so much. But her first priority was her sister. Powerful or no, she was a kid and Jamie didn't want her getting hurt. Charlie could take care of himself.
"My, honey, why didn't you tell me we were having guests for dinner?" Jamie called to Charlie as she flew out to meet him. "Also, Dahlia you are in sooooo much trouble young lady! You're lucky I'm not mom!" Jamie spotted A'Jax as she pulled up on her bike and pulled out her gun. He didn't seem hostile, but she wasn't about to take that chance with her little sister.

A'Jax checked himself for anymore damage but whatever he'd hit had been soft enough to not do anymore. His damaged eye was bothering him however. he could still mostly see but it wasn't its normal sharp clarity. He needed to work on getting some self repair systems, especially for time like this. Maybe he could find the parts in Knowhere. However he had no money, so that would prove tricky. He'd figure out something. He was smart and tough, he could trade protection or some other service for the parts. He took notice of the girl before him. She seemed innocent enough. Not really the type to cause too much of a problem. He then registered all the questions she was asking.
"Oh, umm. Well in that order. I was talking to my board, or more accurately my board's AI, Idris. Helps keep me company on these long journeys. You can see her, technically. And I am fine, the ship came close but no damage. I'm A'Jax, or Golden Glider, either one."
He said with a smile. Of course the smile might've been creepy given the damaged eye but he was unaware of that. Either way, he was just trying to be friendly. Child or no, he'd need a friendly face once he got inside there, provided she was from in there that is. He was about to continue the conversation when he noticed the arrival of Nova, followed close behind by a small fleet of ships. If he breathed he probably would've had a panic attack. There was Nova, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and he was coming this way. Obviously she was the Dahlia in question. He tried to relax, play it cool.
But then Aegis showed up too, in classic Aegis fashion. Rolling, ok flying up, on her motorcycle straight towards him. Alright, admittedly she was going towards Dahlia and A'Jax just happened to be there with her. But still, there she was. The reports were right, she was hot. Now that he saw her and Dahlia he could tell there was a good chance they were sisters, or if they were cousins they likely had parents who were twins. He raised his hands, smiling. He really needed to add teeth to his glider form, it tended to unsettle some.
"I'm cool, I'm here to help. Khund Battle Cruisers and 3 support craft. Counting Dahlia that makes four of us total to take on 5 ships. You and Nova are good but you'll need help."
Bzzz...bzzz.BZZZ....BZZzzz......bzzz
"No Idris you don't count at a fifth...."
He said looking down at his board.

Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky Dahlia looked at him with quite a bit of interest. His board had an AI system in it? Fascinating! She wondered what kind of languages it spoke and if she could talk to it. She always had a fondness for Artificial Intelligence Programming of any kind, really. Though her favorite would always be Worldmind. Conversations with Worldmind were always the best. She wondered if it was as advanced as Worldmind, or if it would be more like her brother's Mycroft. She started to float closer to him and lowered herself just low enough so that she would be at eye level with the board. Yes, she was going to try and talk to the board. "Idris, is it? Do you speak? Or are you specially designed in a way that you talk to..." She paused a moment as she tried to decide which of the names she was given she could call him. "A'Jax?" She was about to continue before she heard a very familiar voice. She couldn't exactly tell you from where, but she heard the message loud and clear and it made her want to hide her face. Oh no... She was in trouble. She wasn't able to really reply in a way that she was sure he would hear her but she spoke anyway. "I hear you loud and clear Cha- er... Nova." She gave A'Jax a wry smile, about to say she was, well... he could guess who she was now when a second voice pierced her ears. If she thought she was in trouble before, now she knew for sure. She was royally screwed. Ooooh boy, one small venture out of Knowhere and it was like everyone was drawn to her. She swore that she hadn't tripped any alarms, she had been extra safe in making sure she didn't. While she might not have the stealth her mother or sister had, she had abilities like invisibility and phasing that tended to help. Was she really just that much of a trouble magnet or something? "Don't tell mom," she begged, looking at Jamie a moment as she came over and stopped by them, aiming one of her huge guns at A'Jax. Just her luck, she goes to make a friend and her sister is already pointing guns at him. She wanted to think typical, though she wasn't so sure that was really necessary at this moment. She floated up a bit more and put her hand out on the barrel of the weapon, looking at her sister with pleading eyes. "Is it really necessary to point that at him? He isn't a hostile. And there are much more important things here than focusing a weapon on A'Jax, isn't there? Nova said we have visitors. They could be here any second. We should be wanting to point the guns at them, not him," she said. Admittedly, she wished that they didn't have to point any guns at anyone but Dahlia didn't just almost go to try and save some poor space traveler just to have her sister kill him, though admittedly, she knew that wouldn't happen right in front of her. Or, at least, part of her was sure it wouldn't. Shining how we want, brighter than the sun

As the voice came over Charlie's comm, he sighed. "Maxiflark. Hi, honey. You know me. I love to bring more for dinner." Charlie switched off the mic for a minute. Worldmind, since my lovely girlfriend is here, please update my last will and testament. Leave everything to Wyatt. Except those recordings. Delete those from the hard drive. He'd kill me for seeing his sister like that."
Charles, everything is updated. But, it is imperative that you pay attention at this time. I should warn you, the Khund are charging weapons and preparing to fire. This close to the Crunch, Knowhere could fall into it, if it takes too many hits.
"Good news. Terrific. This day was going so well for me." Charlie keyed the mic again. "Okay, here's the deal boys and girls. My name's Nova, I also answer to Charlie or God. Any of the three will do. Starheart, Golden Rod, you are now both junior members of the auxiliary auxiliary branch of the Guardians of the Galaxy. And you're on quadruple secret probation. Aegis, you can murder me later. We need the help. If you do everything Aegis and I tell you, we may all just live through the afternoon. Phased pulse, both hands."
Nova came around and faced the incoming fleet. "People, we've done this before, but just in case. You are in direct violation of the Pan Worlds Jurisdiction Treaty. I'm going to ask you nicely to turn about and leave, otherwise, I'm going to kick your asses back in to deep space."
Charles, no difference in their weapons... Wait... They're opening fire. Detecting weapons discharges.
"You think? This day sucks."

Narrowing her eyes at A'Jax, Jamie lowered the gun at her little sister's request. Also she did have a point, (though she'd never admit it out loud). They did have much larger, more aggressive problems. Khunds. Fantastic. This was going to be hard and messy and she really didn't want to hear it from her mom about letting Dahlia fight Khunds of all things. She'd figure out what to do with the the Golden Child after everything was over. Trial by fire seemed best way to go right now. And what a fire it was going to be. Charlie was also right, they did need the help. On a good day they could maybe take one or two support craft and a skeleton crew of a battle cruiser. Today was not a good day.
"Ok, the nuggets can call you God, but I'm sticking with buckethead, buckethead." She looked out at the battle cruisers while Charlie tried to futilely ask them once again to stop, cease and desist. She did a few quick calculations for how big of a shield they'd need after the cruisers started firing and turned to her sister. Her own shield was useless against lasers, a fact she rather loathed living out in space. Cruel, cruel irony.
"Ok, kiddo, you wanted to be out in space, you're gonna have to do as I tell you to survive. I need a shield, big as you can make it till I tell you to stop, ok? Gotta make sure home doesn't get hit as well as us. Chrome dome, let's start you small. Head with Nova and see what you can do about those damn cruisers. I'll see if I can do something about the support ships. Everyone ready? Ok...GO!"

'Bzzzz...bzz......bZZZZ'
"Yes I'll tell her."
He said down to the board before looking back at Dahlia.
"She communicates through vibrations and a series of ultrasonic buzzes I can pick up. It's similar to morse code. Her current design has no speakers, they created too much drag and it bothered me."
He said about the board before turning his attention back to Aegis and more accurately, the gun pointed at him. Could Jamie's gun hurt him? Possibly. But A'Jax was also not that concerned about it either. The Guardians were heroes and heroes didn't attack innocent people. Of course that could also be his naivety and hero worship coming out. But he'd deal with that later. For now he was more focused on the small fleet currently coming into their air space.
"Go help Nova, you got it."
He said nodding his head. He gave a little two finger salute before zipping over towards Nova. As he flew he fired a few energy blasts trying to block or at least weaken their own blasts. He wasn't exactly sure if it'd work, but was kinda just winging it.
"Aegis said I should help you Nova. Not sure what kind of tech defenses they have but if I can get close enough I should be able to take over their ships. Or I can impersonate Silver Surfer. Claimed to be his son and sent some Skrulls running."

Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky Dahlia wasn't going to lie, despite being comepletely terrified at the fact that she was definitely in a whole new world of trouble when all of this was over, Charlie had just addressed her by Starheart. Starheart. It sounded like a great heroes name, when she really thought about it, not like she hadn't thought of a million and one heroes names for herself in the past. But he had given her one. It didn't matter that she was pretty sure she had considered that one before in the past, what mattered was that she was actually being called it! It was a name that came from that ring her dad had. From where her powers even came from, and just being called it, legitimately, filled her with an excitement beyond anything else. She stood a little straighter for a moment as she went to salute Charlie, give a yes sir, but her sister's voice cut in to give her orders. She looked at Jamie and nodded her head, understanding exactly what she had to do. She turned a smile towards A'jax before that, though, to say, "Let's continue this talk when everything's okay, alright? Stay safe, A'Jax!" She had a bright smile on her lips before she closed her eyes and started concentrating. She'd never done a force field this big before but her sister was counting on her, Knowhere was counting on her, even if the people there didn't know it. And that also meant that her mother was counting on her. She couldn't have something bad happening to her mother. She couldn't let her mother get hurt, not when she could prevent it. She wasn't even entirely sure that she could do this but she knew she had to try, so she imagined a field of green energy around them, trying to make sure that Knowhere got as engulfed as she could. Had to keep them safe, make sure nothing happened to them. But she was afraid it might waver. When she was as sure as she could be that the field was working, she opened her eyes to see the irridescent green 'shell', so to speak, was working. She couldn't lose her focus on it, though. Something of this size? Just the smallest dwindling thought might tear it apart. She was pretty sure of that. "Sh-shields up!" she called out to them, her voice a bit strained. She should probably practice with these sorts of things more often, honestly. But, let's face it, even if her looks don't always match up, she was only thirteen. And she was trying her best here. Hopefully her best would be enough. Shining how we want, brighter than the sun

"This is just flarking special today."
Energy blasts were raining down around Charlie and all he could do was dodge. Worldmind was shouting directions in his ear, which was helping him keep a few seconds ahead. Jamie was issuing commands and dividing the troops which worked fine for Charlie. She knew what she was doing by this point and he trusted her. "And to think, all I tried to do was get them to stop invading a solar system."
The sub-etheric comm sent Jamie's voice to him. He was being tasked with babysitting Golden Rod. That worked fine by him. "Alright, kid. Form up on me. I want their engines and weapons taken out. We're probably going to have to hammer through their shields first. I don't know what you can do, but lets see it in action." Charlie powered up his shields and started firing a barrage of gravimetric blasts at the lead cruiser. "Worldmind, prepare to do something stupid..."
Confirmed, Charles. Preparing for Plan A. Transferring power to offensive systems.
The Khund cruiser's shields flickered as the blasts impacted. The energy Charlie had was enough to damage the shields, but it was going to take more time than he liked. Even at full power, he was going to need more time. If he took out the one cruiser, there was still the matter of the second one, which could open fire on Knowhere at any moment. Charlie was running low on ideas.

As the shots rained down around her, Jamie looked back at her sister and bit her lip. She didn't want to leave her there by herself, but she was really the only one who could make a shield that big. So she fought every instinct she had, because she knew Dahlia could do it. And kids all had to grow up some time (didn't mean she had to like it). What she could do, was encourage her. She remembered when their mom would give her just a little encouragement when she was training and it would boost her whole day up.
"Keep it up, Starheart. You're doing great." She was going to be over the moon for awhile with that little nickname, Jamie was sure. But, there was no time to dwell on codenames right then. She was a bit busy dodging around canon fire, getting in as close as she could. Her pistols were pot shots against the support ships, even without the shields. So, she was going to have get in close and bang on the doors. Now was as good a time as any to test out a little gadget she had stored away in one of her saddle bags. She dug around as she flew in close, pulling out a small device which she tossed at the first support ship. It stuck to the outside of the shield and Jamie waited, watching it with bated breath before the shield began to flicker. And continue to do so.
"Damn...didn't totally disrupt it," she muttered to herself. But there were still usable moments which she could use to punch holes in the ship. Concentrating, she formed a giant mace in her hand out of her armor and slammed it into the side of the ship in between flickers, tearing holes in the hull an watching debris come flying out in the sudden explosive decompression. She had run around on a modified one of these ships once or twice and she tried to remember where the power station was.
Flying under the ship, she looked up at it before pushing away from her bike and activating her magboots just as the shield flickered back to life. There was maybe a few inches of clearance between the top of her head and the shields but that's all she needed. Creating a sword, she stabbed down and began to cut her way into the ship, making a small incision before tossing in a small charge and stepping away. Pretty soon, the pauses between the flickering of the shields got longer before they simply stopped all. Then the rest of the power went out, section by section. She grinned. Rocket thought anything that didn't explode wasn't something that needed to be made. But a power leech was a simple, effective way of dealing with idiots.
A hatch opened up ahead of her and a few Khunds came out, bearing weapons at her and Jamie grinned. "Well, that looks like my cue to leave." She pushed off the ship, calling for her bike and waved, looking at the other two support ships she was going to have to deal with.
(OOC: sorry this is super late! I kinda just let Jamie do what she wanted so if there's stuff that needs changing, I'll fix it. It's crappy but it's there cause she wouldn't shut up.)

"Engines and weapons taken out, understood sir."
Glider said with a salute. Of course at this point he would do literally anything for the team. He was working with the Guardians of the Galaxy, a real dream come true. Some children wished to be with the Justice League or Avengers but that had never been enough for him. As a child who regularly saw alternate dimensions hanging out with the Avengers seemed kinda boring.
He noticed where Nova was firing and fired his own blasts in the came spot. It was taking too long though, that much was obvious right off the bat. The shields weren't spectacular, hell, he himself had better shields. But they were energy based meaning, he couldn't simply phase through them. That would be easiest and allow him to take over the ship. He wished his powers were similar to that of the original Surfer on whose form he's based on. But he should be able to punch a hole through the shield big enough to fit through. He turned up the juice, firing blast after blast into the shield. He was quick enough to maneuver around any returning fire, although a few did glance off his board.
'BUZZZZ...BZZZZ.......BZ!'
"I know, I'm sorry! But you can take it better than I can."
He focused on a blast as it turned red and he upped the heat. He went with quick multiple blasts instead of one prolonged blast to limit the damage done to his body from the blast. He shot forward quickly, going intangible, and made it through the shield. He landed on the top of the ship and focused his technopathic energy to try and take over the ship.
"Nova, focus on the other ship."
He knew it was likely warming up to fire on KNowehere, a place home to innocent people. A'Jax wouldn't allow that. He could feel the ship's systems answering to him. One by one the systems came under his control. He turned the ship to face the one beside it. It then began to open fire with its forward guns on the other cruiser.
