The worst possible moment had happened for JJ. Barby had been taken, and taken by people he'd believed he could actually trust. However in reality they were duplicates of Rayne and May. Evil version from another universe here to take over. JJ had his arm broken and thrown off a balcony before finding out that Barby could teleport just like Rayne and Olly. JJ managed to get himself to safety and rounded up some allies. Namely Olly and his sister Dinah Grayson. Using the tracking devices hidden in Babry's necklace and earrings they found her quickly. After a brief fight that left the evil Olly dead and the evil JJ and Rayne restrained they were ready to get some answers. Of course restraining both of them was rather difficult. JJ was held by a variety of handcuffs and other restraints while @madrox herself had a few handcuffs and a special collar meant for when they transported this universe's Rayne back to the others' home universe. It negated her time and universe hopping powers and from the looks of it was uncomfortable. Olly opened up a portal in a back hallway and stepped through with all of them. Olly led while JJ guided the evil JJ and Rayne from behind. Barby stuck close to her father, holding onto his cape the whole time. Of course they had no idea that in the main living area the Avengers, along with two duplicates, were talking to a recently escaped Walter West and Brother Blood. However suddenly an alarm went off and JJ stopped all of them. "Victor Von Dommship."JJ said loudly as the alarm silenced. 'Interesting. A special code for Justice League members.'"Yup. The Avengers have one to access the Justice League teleportation system. A sort of friendly peace offering. Only problem is it's not that friendly. We wait here until Iron Maiden or possible Captain America shuts it down." He said calmly. He picked Barby up and smiled behind his mask. "So this is the Avengers mansion? Cool.""Same rules as the Batcave."'Touch something and I'm cleaning up after the bats for a week.'"Something like that."JJ didn't like what was happening. Communication with the Watch Tower was down and he couldn't get a hold of Batman. That one however wasn't that unheard of. He had a tendency to go deep undercover, or just ignore others when working a case. So they had no choice but to find James Barnes Jr and Virginia "Ginnie" Stark. Her brains and his other skills, could easily get them the answers from the evil JJ that he wanted. 'Ya know Ray, seeing you like this kinda reminds me of our honeymoon.'Evil JJ said with a laugh. He wasn't about to tell them anything. Especially the names, since there were at least 2 evil versions in this building right now. T'Shan and Aileen Barton. Both of which would likely kill him for talking. "Speaking of which JJ, don't mind me calling you JJ do you? I mean we're practically the same guy. You know what they say about opposites right? Well if we're opposites and my Rayne is wild about me and deep in love, what does that mean about the Rayne you know?"JJ tried to ignore him. As he'd been trying to do for some time now. He wasn't making it easy however.

Olly knew right where to put them. They needed to get somewhere safe but also show they proved no threat. A simple back hallway that only led from the living area to the kitchen. He was however surprised that there was a Justice League emergency code. It did make a lot of sense however. Things with the teams had been good for years now and they all needed someone to count on. He did wonder however if only higher ups or those well respected had the code or if everyone. Olly assumed it'd be higher ups. After all the Justice League once numbered close to 100 active members, all of them having access to the Avengers mansion was risky. But apparently they didn't have much in the way of access.
He quietly slid over towards Rayne. He felt terrible. First he missed the duplicate right under his nose for a year, but now she knew he'd lied about Barby. WHile he couldn't apologize for that directly he still felt bad. He hated lying to his sister. Sure he was fine lying to others and had been doing it for years now, but never his sister. Although killing the evil version of himself was surprisingly satisfying. He looked down noticing some blood on his right hand from when he'd run evil Olly through from behind.
"I'm not gonna ask if your ok Cleo, I know you're not. And if you don't want to talk to me anymore I'd completely understand. I'm just glad you're safe now. We'll make sure she pays for what she did to you, May and Barby."
He said quietly as they waited for someone to come free them from their invisible prison. Basically if they tried to move further down the hallway they'd be registered as a threat and activate the defense systems. No one wanted them, him especially.
"I promise I'll explain everything. You, JJ, Barby, everything."
He said before reaching into his coat and grabbing a flask and taking a deep swig. He then offered it up to Rayne, figuring she'd want a drink, now especially.

Sebastian finished the bag of blood he'd been given and felt somewhat better. Well physically he felt fine now. His wounds were healed over and what little color he had in his skin had returned. Everyone always assumed due to the lack of sunlight he was supposed to be super pale. But thanks to spray tans and a few other tricks his skin always had a decent healthy glow to it. Namely enough of one to help him blend in with normal Caucasian society. Mentally though, he was still shaken. He'd been tricked, Lydia was evil and now he was away from Admiral Fluffy Paws. He had always helped keep him balanced and calm. But he had more to deal with than getting his familiar back. Namely it was an issue of saving everyone.
Just then he heard a strange noise and Jarvis spoke up. Sebastian wasn't really paying attention, he just heard something about the Justice League arriving and some emergency code being used. Sebastian had never thought about if one team had to go to the other in emergency but it made sense. Always ensuring that they can be reached without worrying about security measures and so forth. As far as he could tell the only team that took of themselves was the X-Men. Gabby always seemed to be going on about them. Or he assumed she was as he usually drifted out when she was talking.
"So when are we going to go get our people?"
He asked before catching the eye of Skugga again. He froze before slowly trying to back away. He hated birds, always had. Of course Skugga wasn't any ordinary bird either. The fact he could talk and his talons could cut through pretty much anything made him even worse. Seeing him took Seb to a place he didn't want to be anymore. A place he'd tried hard to forget but also knew he never truly would.

Walt wanted an answer to Seb's question more than he wanted anything but his friend's safety. His tapping foot had already driven a small hole into the ground.
"I dunno Seb. I don't know why we're not there already. I mean, they could be..." At this point, Walt grabbed his hair in both fists and screamed wildly, almost as loudly as he did to summon Ginnie when they first arrived in the mansion.
"I can't do this!!" The afterimage of Walt in this position still existed for a moment afterwards, but Walt himself was an inch away from James's face. His own expression was one of barely-restrained fury.
"We're going now, Cap. No more speeches. I swore I'd follow your lead, and I will, but we have to do..." (here he shuddered violently and withdrew a breath,) "...something... and we have to go now. Now."
Walt's fists were clenched. He had no intention of starting a fight here, but he had to intention of waiting, either.
Then a thought occurred to him. It was the first moment of utter clarity he'd experienced since he realized that Enrique had betrayed them.
His hands were still gripping James's arms tightly, but they squeezed even harder now, and he spoke in an urgent whisper, his thoughts blurring at their usual speed of a million miles per hour.
"James... James, what about the others?"

The scene was enough to drive him mad. A nearly exhausted Ginnie. A beaten vampire. A hormonal speedster. He was glad Aileen and T'Shan were here. JARVIS informed them that someone had used the JLA code from the kitchen. It made sense to him. James looked over, not wanting to step on Ginnie's toes. She had enough to worry about now. The code was Blue Bat's personal one. "JARVIS, countersign: Nightwatch. Allow them access and direct them to the main room immediately."
That was one problem solved. Now his next one. The speedster was in his face, grabbing his arms and making demands. The squeezing was a mild annoyance verging on pain. James wouldn't let his face betray that to Walt. He listened for a moment and then he'd finally had enough. So Cap said so.
"ENOUGH!" James lashed out. "I don't want to, but I can disable you at least seven ways, right now. You will do nothing without mine or Iron Maiden's say so. Walter, my sister is there too. And from everything you just told me, she's been compromised too. Everything in my brain wants to run there too. I would even endure one of your mach 12 piggy back rides. But that's why I know we can't run off yet. We need a plan. We need to know what we're up against. I'm all for the cavalry, but I'm not losing more people. We will get your team back."
Cap broke Walter's grip and leaned against the wall. A new kind of exhaustion hit him. It was just a weary feeling in his bones now. There was always another war to fight. He wondered briefly if his father and Steve Rogers felt like this. He looked around at the people in the room and then spoke quietly. "You're both Avengers now, for the moment. You take your marching orders from Iron Maiden or from me. Walter, get me a list of the Titans that couldn't make it. I need more information. I have an idea forming. In the meantime, lets see what the League wants."

For once, Dinah was quiet, which was unusual for her. But she knew if she opened her mouth, all the raw, seething hatred roiling around inside her would come out, more than likely causing someone's head to explode. She couldn't really do that with her niece so close. Dinah was sure she'd had more than enough of seeing authority figures flying off the handle. She gave Barby's head a quick pat as her dad picked her up, keeping an eye on their prisoners. Her mouth quirked up a bit at JJ's code as she looked around where Olly had taken them. A hallway was always so nice to look at.
As Evil JJ opened his mouth, she came up behind him and kicked at his knees, grabbing a handful of hair as he fell. It took all she had not to bash his face into a wall. This man, this thing who looked and sounded like her brother had kidnapped her niece and tossed JJ off a balcony. She was none too happy that he was even allowed to be walking around. Unlike her brother, she couldn't ignore him anymore. She grit her teeth in her anger, making her voice very low as she whispered in his ear. "You, do not talk unless we ask you to. And even then, it better only be what we asked you about."
She let him go as she heard someone else yelling somewhere else in the mansion. Seems like they had interrupted a party going on here. She looked over at her brother questioningly, wondering if they could trust everyone here. They had just found out there had been replacements among their own people, what's to say there wasn't any here. They could be walking into a trap.

Post by Virginia "Ginnie" Stark on Oct 22, 2015 14:55:38 GMT -6
Here's to being human and taking it for granted After what had been quite a bit of convincing from Rupert and then James, Ginnie had finally gotten some rest. It was fitful at best and she honestly couldn't remember just when she had fallen asleep but the thundering sound of Walter yelling again woke her with a start. At first, she didn't know where she was. She wasn't in her own room, that much she was certain of. She thought for a moment that it might have been Aileen's room but nothing about it pointed to that fact. James' room then, perhaps. She didn't remember falling asleep their either, however it didn't really matter. The first thing that seemed to greet her as she rose from the bed was the gentle sound of JARVIS saying good evening and telling her of the Justice League's appearance. Her nose wrinkled at that. Sure, the teams helped each other when needed, she still didn't necessarily like them having backdoors into her team's home. She grabbed the first sweatshirt she could find in the room, making a note to both apologize and thank James before leaving the room. JARVIS informed her of what he seemed to know, answering her when the far less important question of 'How long had she been asleep for' escaped her lips. From the sounds of it, while fitful, she had been out for several hours. Hopefully enough to keep her going for a few more days. She rubbed what sleep was still in her eyes out of them and, while emotionally and mentally, she was still exhausted, physically she was looking a bit better. The things that went on in her head she could easily keep hidden there. She had been doing so for years, after all. By the time she had gotten to the room where James and the others were in, James was yelling at Walter and telling him how things were going to work. She wanted to try and remain a middle ground, but mixed with the overall mental drain she had been going through mixed with the yelling that seemed to send pins and needles into her head, she was already having enough of it all. "Stop it, all of you," she order, trying to keep her voice firm. She had to be a bit loud, coming from the back of the room, and that did not really help one bit with the small headache that seemed to already be forming. "As James said, your orders come from us. I don't give a rats ass how either of you feel on that matter. Oh, my friends are still there! Oh, we need to save them! When are we going to do something! I'm going on my own!" She was mimicing them a bit. Sure, uncalled for, but she was trying to make a point. She scoffed before continuing. "You go there, you'll just end up like the rest of them. Or worse. We don't go in unless we know what we are going into. You wanted to come to us for help, we're here to do so. But we will do so in a way that will not jeopardize their safety or our own. You can't really be stupid enough to think that just barging in on a team that has clearly been completely compromised is a good idea? Because if you are, i seriously misjudged you, Mister West."She shook her head lightly, pinching the bridge of her nose. Speaking so much, partially yelling even was just making her head hurt worse. She couldn't quite explain the pounding in her head. She rarely woke up with such migraines. Usually, it took some time to get to that point at least. "Now, go do what James ordered. And while you're at it, fetch me some ibuprofen and a glass of water. If you wouldn't mind. Sebastian, make sure that the League members find this room easily. I'm not entirely sure following JARVIS's instructions will completely help." She paused them, opening her eyes back up to look over towards James. "I'm sorry to have left you alone with them. I haven't a clue how you can handle him when he gets like that." She sighed, letting her arms drop to her sides as she moved over to him, stopping a bit short of the taller man to take a seat. "Have you any idea what the Justice League is doing here?"xxx | @everyone | kinda crap but hopefully it works |

| | Ada simply stared at the little communications card going off in her hand. She'd never admit to anyone how many nights she had sat up, late at night in the palace, just staring at it. She understood that she was just a reserve member, and they already had her brother, yet she couldn't help but stare at it, waiting for it to go off. Note she sat in a shitty hotel room with it beckoning her to the Avenger mansion. Was it only because she was in closer proximity? Or did they actually mean to page her. What could have happened to cause them to need her when they had T’Shan? All these thoughts took but a moment before she was on her way.
Sadly, it took the queen some time to get to the mansion. Most of the time was spent simply trying to get through the city, damn traffic. She was sure, this never happened in her own city. She paid the man what she owed and watched him drive off before entering the small grounds of the inner city mansion. As she walked towards the front door, her street clothes seemed to melt away, leaving only her Black Panther garb.
Once encased in the iconic gear of the stealthy Wakandan hero, sans most annoying cape, Ada moved to, and then silently opened the front door. Okay, so she was pretty sure sneaking in wasn’t needed, yet, but come on, it was just plain fun.
Voices. They were in groups, and came from two different directions. She paused in the entryway, waiting to be challenge for her entry in some way. None came so she moved on. Her first instinct was to go to where the shouting was, but the quieter voices peaked her interest. Her form shimmered for a moment before become unseen to the naked eyes. She moved to the voices in the hall, listening for a moment before moving to the other set of voices. She quite literally stepped out of the shadows behind James, looking at Ginnie. Her eyes flashed around the room, taking people in. Iron Lady, Captain, Archer, her brother, and then two people she didn’t know at all.
”Your visitors have brought guests. The fact that some of these guests resemble the Justice members that brought them is probably why they have brought them here and in such a hurry,” Ada said, answering Ginnie’s question, even though it was not directed at her. She pulled her face mask off, letting it hang on her back like some weird, car eared hood. Her eyes smiled at Ginnie and Aileen as she nodded to them in greeting. She also nodded to James before fixing her eyes on her brother for a moment before looking back to the Iron Lady.

If you get the chance you better keep her Rayne was quiet as they moved through the halls. She hugged her arms tight to her chest, her eyes staring forward almost blankly. She'd been to the mansion quite a few times before, popping in to check on Virginia and see if she couldn't convince her to play hookie. It never really worked but hey, it meant she occasionally got to spend time with someone outside of the Suicide Squad. She knew the mansion fairly well, including their defense systems, and while usually she would be delighted to be spending time here, to be spending time anywhere that wasn't that cell, actually, but she couldn't seem to muster up much of anything. Not even a false sense of excitement. Not with so much on her mind. A part of her felt betrayed. And while she could probably blame JJ, May, Olly, even Ginnie for not noticing the difference, that's really not where that sense came from at all. No, when it came right down to it, it was her brother she felt betrayed by. Her eyes trailed over to him for a second. She didn't blame him for not noticing, not really. They'd had such powerful magics to create a false link between the two using herself as a conduit. In that area, she only had herself to blame for being so weak, for letting that happen. There was no one to blame for her being locked up but herself. But what she could blame Olivier for was lying to her, so blatantly, so many times, when he knew all along that Barby was her daughter. But no, everything she knew, everything she was told, she had to learn from some other universe copy of herself and... and JJ... Her fingers started to clench tighter around her arms, nails in serious need of grooming digging into her skin as much as she could make them. Olly came over to her as she stopped walking, waiting for Ginnie or Cap to let them through. He spoke but she barely listened, her head turning to face away from him. As nice as it was to actually have him back, to know he was here now, to feel that connection, she wanted nothing to do with him. At the moment, at least. "Go away Olivier..." she muttered under her breathe. She pushed his hand away as he offered her the flask and, without a word, she moved away from him. She heard what the freaks from that other universe were sayin and it brought her over to JJ. She was probably the last one he wanted to see, even though he was probably the first on her list. She didn't smile at his as she looked up. She didn't touch him to get his attention, all she did was speak, with a soft and quiet voice. "Hey JJ, how... how's your arm doin'?"
At the same time, there was Mrs. Grayson. Sure, she was a bit tied up, and she was still feeling the residual pains of losing her brother, she was still way better off than the bitch she had replaced. A smirk played along her lips as she did all she could to get close to her Johnny. A chuckle escaped her at his words. "Maybe if we get home, we can relive those memories," she cooed, trying to lightly bump her hip against her husband's. She knew damn well why they were bringing them here. They wanted answers. And unlike most of the people from her world, she was one of the few who knew exactly who everyone wasn't and, she supposed in a certain light, wasn't. And, at the moment, she knew that, at minumum two of the replacements were already in place. Winter Soldier would be worked in soon enough and Machina... well, the other world's Ginnie would have to make her replacement soon as well. She understood the discomfort that chickadee would feel but with some of them already getting compromised, they needed their people in all the right places already. As Dinah gripped up Johnny, though, something snapped inside of her. For half a second, she fought against her own restraints just so she could try and do something. But she couldn't. "Hey Fish Breathe, why don't you get your filthy mits off my husband. He ain't causing any trouble talkin'. And if you want the answers to your question, you're not gonna get shit from either of us with treatment like that. I can promise ya that," she spat. ### | everyone involved | NOTES |

Things were getting out of hand. Figures the idiots couldn't stay under the radar. Part of T'Shan understood why they did what they did, but that part was small compared to the part that wanted to kill the both of them for screwing up, then take the child and raise her as his own out of spite. But for now, he'd need to wait. He did notice that the vampire was afraid of Skugga, something Skugga noticed as well. He gave a slight, barely noticeable shake of his head and Skugga flew back to his shoulder, waiting calmly. T'Shan could hear the conversation from the newly arrived JUstice Leaguers and knew this was becoming a sh*t show. Then his dear sister had to show, of course. Sure he killed his version, but that version wasn't the warrior this one was. She could be a serious threat. He glanced over at Hawkeye briefly, a simple nod towards the door. They'd need to get out of here. Sure he trusted Nitewing and Rayne to not talk willingly, but they didn't know what he did. That being that Winter Soldier and Captain America weren't as different as they might like to believe. If anyone could make them talk it'd be James. Meaning it wouldn't be long before Berzerker and Hawkeye were fingered.
"Sister, it is good to see you again. I had not expected you to leave Wakanda so quickly. I trust things are well."
He said moving over to her. He'd never been one for sentimentality, but T'Shan on the other hand is a different matter. He placed a hand on her back with a smile.
"Although it seems you have chosen a poor time to visit. The Titans are under attack and the Justice League suddenly shows up, that is clearly not a coincidence."

And I can't stop 'til the whole world knows my name
Lilura felt nice and relaxed in her apartment. It was small and a bit crappy but it was home. Or, at least, it was one of her homes. She had small safe houses all over the place that came in handy when she was doing her bounty hunting thing, as well as her home in Texas, but this apartment held a lot more to her. Her godmother, Agatha, had helped her get it. A lot of her 'magical' training had happened here. Memories filled each small room. Sure, it wasn't some fancy house or big mansion, it was hers. And, right about now, she found herself having a lazy day. She wore sweats and a t-shirt, lounging on her couch. Jonah sat curled in her lap, purring as one hand gently stroked his fur. Cuddling up with the cat was always a highlight when she got these little breaks. She didn't need to worry about Sammy, about Cassie or Gabe, about work, she had plenty of money to get by for a few days. All that was left to do was sit back, relax, and watch some- And that's when it went off, the identicard. She got notified plenty enough but rarely did she seem to answer it. She made it clear that she would remain a part time member, reserve only. Mostly, it was for the magical stuff that they needed consulting with, or they just seriously needed a witch to get the job done. She let out a long sigh as she reached over to the identicard, considering for a moment just throwing somewhere and continue to snuggle her familiar. But she realized that she would have no such luck. She hadn't checked in for a while anyway. With no where else to put it, she stuffed the card into her bra and picked the white cat up. "Ah am so sorry, sug, but duty calls. Make sure no nasty ghouls er limey skulls come in wit'out mah say so, ya hear?" She mused to the cat, touching her nose to his before putting him down beside her and standing up. She had to stretch real quick before concentrating, energy buzzing around her. Her hands went out to the sides, her wrists rolling as she did so before she brought them together. "I wanna go to Avengah's Manor," she mused. The energy seemed to collapse around and Lilura disappeared from her apartment, seemingly appearing behind the small group of... who ever the hell they were. It sounded like an alarm was just turned off. Huh... Without a care, she pushed past then. "Pardon me. Ah was bein' called," she said. She stopped a few feet in front of them, turning around. "Hold up... Am Ah seein' double?" Her eyes flicked between the two Rayne's and JJ's before shaking her head. "Ya know what, Ah don' even wanna know. Y'all can follow me if ya like." With that, she turned back around and headed towards the sound of voices, her so-called 'team'. She didn't know if the guests followed, nor did she care. Coming to the room, she leaned against the entrance way and looked towards James and Virginia. "Ah dunno if y'all noticed, but there's a serious case o' dopplegangers out there," she informed. "Now, if ya don't mind mah askin', any reason we been called?"### | lots of people | because reserve members are also on call here... |

Hawkeye was honestly kind of enjoying the show. With Ginnie finally going up to bed, she was left to sort of blend into the background and just watch. Of course, she was itching to start something, had been ever since she'd replaced her counterpart here. The last real taste of action she'd had was taking out Aileen Barton, and her James had had to come along and ruin that. Speaking of her James, maybe he wasn't as different from Captain Shot-a-lot as she'd thought. She'd been listening to the kids whine pretty much since Ginnie had left, and it was starting to wear her down. She was on a team with two guys, so she thought she was used to male whining, but these two were much worse. And then the kid, the fast one, yelled at the top of his lungs, and Hawkeye's fist clenched angrily. She didn't know this kid in her universe, but surely the real him was better. Of all the Titans their side had to let escape, they had to pick these two.
So Hawkeye was actually glad when this version of James shut the speedster up. If he hadn't stepped in and threatened to do something terrible, she probably would have gone ahead and actually gone through with it. But just sitting there, watching him make the threat, well, it reminded her quite why she liked her James. It was almost.... But before she could finish the thought, she took a look at T'Shan. Her T'Shan. Well, it'd be interesting, but she had at least one reason to not go comparing James in different universes right there with her. Not to mention another one upstairs.
After that, things happened very suddenly. Suddenly JARVIS was speaking and James was talking and she didn't know quite what was going on. And then Ginnie stepped into the room and everything got even more confused. This Ginnie was...different from the one she knew. She seemed much nicer to the Aileen Barton of this universe than Hawkeye's Ginnie had ever been to her. And her hair was brown. For those two reasons, Hawkeye didn't like her nearly as much as her own. Well, the Ginnie who had once been hers. That had been a long time ago. But still, the way in which she replied to the Titans made Hawkeye snort. She wasn't about to give the game away at this dangerous a stage, however, so she forced herself to respond in the way she thought Aileen would have.
"Don't be so hard on them, Gin," Hawkeye said, forcing her face into a sympathetic expression. Couldn't she at least have had to impersonate somebody who wasn't a total pushover, "They've been through a lot. I'd be the same if something had happened to you." Well, that wasn't so much of a lie. She didn't go as far as to suggest that the Avengers could take the Titans. If she wanted to lead Ginnie and James into a trap, she'd have to be more subtle than that. And then Ada, T'Shan's sister showed up. Well, that complicated things. And with whoever the new arrivals were...Well, she'd been entertaining the idea that her and T'Shan could overpower James, two kids and a sleeping Ginnie. But not if there were any more of them.
Well, people were making plans now. And with the Justice League showing up, it was tipped against them. How many people did they have in the League? Hawkeye didn't have a mind for plans and tactics. Maybe....if they had reinforcements, maybe they could still stand a chance in a direct fight. As the only other option seemed to be running away to spend their time with a load of teenagers, honestly Hawkeye might prefer a throw-down.

JJ was doing his best to ignore, well himself. Of course though the evil JJ knew everything to say to get to him. Not to mention the thoughts about the opposite Rayne had gotten to him briefly. Ok, more often than he'd like to admit. The thought had been swirling around in his mind ever since they left. Was it really impossible for him to get Rayne? Would she just be the one that got away? Of course she was the mother of his child, apparently. He was going to focus on that later, that wasn't something he could even pretend to deal with now.
He looked down at Barby in his arms and sighed. She was his world and until he figured everything out. For now she would be the only woman he cared about. Sure he'd love his sister and Rayne, who was his closest friend. But for now he'd worry about Barby. He needed to get her to safety but they needed to deal with JJ and Rayne first.
"Nightwing, enough. Leave him be, for now. Besides, when we hand him off he's gonna be begging for this."
'Ah JJ, you're so kind. Although might wanna call your sister off. After all Captain is the one who hooks up with family, not me. But then again who hasn't Captain Marvel hit on or f*cked?'
Ok, so now the evil JJ was starting something. Of course he had a reason for that. He wasn't dumb and he knew they planned on interrogating him, likely using Captain America. If he went after his sister the Captain would go after him, not Rayne. Speaking of which the real one suddenly came over, whispering something to JJ.
'My arm's fine. The suit acts as a splint and I have enough adrenaline to numb the pain. My director and agent will be pissed, but I'll deal with that later.'
'Are you ok Rayne?'
Barby asked, looking over her dad's shoulder. Barby knew Rayne well and was more observant she let on. Of course the whole mom thing hadn't really hit yet so she was admittedly ignoring it for now. All she knew was her dad was hurt and her Aunti Rayne had been locked up for awhile.
'She's fine Alys...Barbara. If she's anything like my Rayne being locked up is definitely something she's ok with.'
Nitewing said with a laugh before Barby reached over and hit him in the jaw he crumbled like a bag of rocks and JJ smirked under his mask.
'That's my girl. Nightwing, be a dear and drag him along will you please?'
He said over his shoulder as Nitewing tried to come to, somewhat out of it still.

Olly deserved that. Honestly he would've preferred if she swore or yelled. He's handled that kind of anger before and honestly it was something he was used to dealing with. But this was a whole new level, he was in unknown waters. Not only that but she'd also used his full name, not 'Olly'. He can't remember the last name he was actually called Olivier and not Olly. Hell he'd been called Oliver more recently.
"I understand sis."
He said calmly before stepping away. He then watched her walk over to JJ and smiled lightly. She may hate him and he'd accept that. But if she was happy and with JJ, like he'd always wanted he'd call it a win. Losing his sister would be hard but her happiness trumped everything else. Plus he could always visit alternate versions of her. At least they wouldn't be so angry towards him, well some wouldn't. He knew he had no allies with the Rayne's in the room. He'd lied to one and potentially slain the other's brother. For once he was quiet, simply standing there observing. He knew he had the clearance to come and go but decided against challenging it. With the Titans falling a couple days ago everyone was on edge.
"Wow, hell of a right."
He said as Barby knocked out Nitewing, the evil JJ. He'd known she'd likely have other powers but the power to beat JJ's senses and then knock him out told him just how different she was from any other 8 year old girl. His niece was potentially dangerous, he just needed to hope SHIELD didn't flag her, provided they haven't already.

Sebastian was getting restless. Sure he wanted to save his friends...well ok he didn't really have any friends. The only one he was close to was Lydia and she had just taken out Marty. Sure the two were in an unofficial battle for her, but still. He didn't like sitting around doing nothing. The training room could only do so much. Plus there was the added issue of he'd spent the whole time without Admiral Fluffy Paws. He was his familiar and best friend. He didn't like the idea of being without him. His guidance and being able to confide in him was alot. Sure he wand Wally were kind close, but not very. Wally's allegiance was to Marty and he and Marty had never gotten along. Sure he wanted to rescue him too, but still, he was more concerned about Lydia.
He was relaxing on the couch reading a book, but not really for the fifth time in two days when the alarm went off. He jumped up drawing his sword and assuming they were under attack. He'd been ignoring Wally and James' continuing fight. Sure Seb wanted in too, but he also knew that a plan was needed. They'd been beaten with an elaborate plan so clearly they were smart. The alarm shook everyone out of it. He listened as Ginnie gave him an order and simply gave a quick two finger salute and wandered off to find the Justice League. He knew almost no one here and he hated that. As he walked he passed some redhead with a southern accent and nodded his head. She was another magic user so at least he had someone else with that aspect.
When he got there he saw a group of people, two handcuffed and one of which struggling to stand.
"Come this way."
He said motioning for them to follow him as he led them into the main living room type room where everyone seemed to be hanging out. As he got back he saw another woman had appeared, wearing black. That was odd but he wasn't exactly too surprised. Seeing people just show up was probably rather common.
"Dare I ask why I'm acting like some butler?"
