Despite Leif’s lie detection, after persistent recommendations from people across various branches of his life (admittedly very few of them knew about this power of his), he had finally given in to watch Game of Thrones. And, despite his lie detection, it was good. He had to pause occasionally, but far less frequently than with most works of fiction. In the first episode, he only counted 183 lies. For something of its run time, that was remarkably low. And yes, maybe he had had to pause that a few times, but it was a good series so far.
This had amazed him somewhat. What had amazed him most about this series though was that it had managed to turn the even-more-brutish version of T’Shan into a vaguely sympathisable character.
It was fascinating how even the best shows got dire wolves wrong, though. He knew enough from his brother to know they would make horrendous pets, although the one biting the Trickster’s doppelganger seemed accurate. And he did like Tyrion.
Leif was actually holding another break between sections of episodes (How on Midgard could Daenerys stand to eat a horse heart anyway? It gave him shivers), when he got the text through.
Leif picked up his Starkphone (Oh how the Starks must hate it that he and his family had such brand loyalty to their company’s offshoots), and opened up the message.
He smiled naturally at the message; "Fun to be had at Swan Dive. Meet me?" He knew the sender instantly. Not many people would be that hasty to meet him. A little bit of tracking put there as being a very limited number of places called the Swan Dive that she could possibly have been referring to.
This made it very easy- once Leif had cast an illusion of smart casual attire over himself- to find the right place and appear in the closest spot where this would go unnoticed. He walked calmly to and through the entrance of the bar, looking for her. It was certainly more stylish than the bar that he had met Lilith, which was noted with slight satisfaction.
They had a bit of a sense of colour coordination, and the clients seemed to be older than 22 on average and not just looking for a binge drink- a rare situation in a bar primarily run for students like the first one.
But Leif didn’t see her. Knowing she would probably take longer to arrive than him, such was the way with teleportation spells, he chose a spot over to one side of the bar.
It was true that drunk-ness encouraged honesty. There was less of a constant buzz from his lie detection here than in most places, and with a spot away from most of the customers, there was practically nothing. Really, Lilith chose her spots well.

Lilith had been sitting at home, her home, not Celeste Belmont ’s trying to come up with an excuse to see Lief. They couldn’t do anything too bad, or she knew they would send Celeste after them, and probably the rest of the team too. But she didn’t want it be something like ‘oh watch me make that guy think I’m his mother come back from the dead’. It just seemed lame and she figured @lokijr would find it, and her boring. No no, it needed to be something fun that she could technically have a hand in causing, while being able to deny everything. They had met because she wanted them too, but they gotten to know each other because he had found her out. He had some lie detection power, which was bad for her...usually. The night hadn’t been a completely loss though, especially not after she had found out he was also part of the “team” she was on, and he was a fantastic kisser. Fantastic kissers always made an impression with the succubus. After all the...people she’d kissed, finding any that stood out was almost like a chore. Now, back to the problem. She wanted to take him out for some fun, fun that would impress him. She had it. Lilith sent him a quick text and then raced off to her room. She needed the perfect outfit. ”How about these shoes Regina?” She asked the spider ball python curled up on her bed before looking down at the platform heels she’d slipped on. ”Yeah, good point. They just don’t have that...that thing I’m looking for.” She couldn’t actually talk to snakes. She didn't have that power. For her, it was just like when a human talked to their pet dog and pretended the dog had answered back. She pulled a pair of low-platform ankle booties out and held them up. ”Much better.” Slipping them on she was ready to go. She put Regina back into her cage before leaving. ”Don't wait up.”
The low roar of a powerful engine in a high performance sports car echoed a bit as she pulled into the parking lot of the dive. It was just a touch swankier than hole-in-the-wall dive bars, but they didn’t serve any $30 cocktails or $50 shots here. She parked, locked the car, and walked in. They tried to make her pay a cover charge, but then seemed to forget about asking for that, or an ID. She siddle up to Leif at the bar. ”Ready?”The smile on her face was not only seductive, but mischievous and dangerous. She was going to have fun with this. Lyrics from Turning Tables by Adele. Leif pricked up at the sound of the approaching car as it came up towards the bar. There were only o many who could afford that sort of vehicle, or who were suitably showy to purchase it even if they could. Unless Lilith made a habit of using her appearance to swindle other out of their money, it probably wasn’t her. That said, it seemed the sort of thing that Lilith would do habitually.
Leif looked up to see Lilith enter the bar at the same time as several other people- mostly men- spotted her. Anyone stopping people’s attentions and drawing them in that easily was almost guaranteed to be Lilith. Who ele was there really who could do that?
Even by Lilith’s standards she was well dressed right now; Leif knew plentifully enough about fashion to know that her dress alone had probably been at least a few thousand dollars.
In short, this was probably a special occasion for her- so Leif was expecting some impressive mayhem to occur before too long. Not least the fact that she’d contacted him first indicated she probably had some sort of plan about what she was going to do, and that meant that some thought had gone in to how to up the situation.
”I wouldn’t have come yet were I not.” He gestured for Lilith to take the seat opposite him, where she would be side-on to most of the others within the bar; not that there was much point as she had already chosen her seat. Leif smiled slightly at that. He hadn’t ordered any drink, firstly because he had only arrived a few minutes before she did, and anticipating that anything such was not likely to survive whatever was about to go down. Besides, it would probably be seen as poor manners to order before his inviter was present.
”You look amazing, Lilith.” Were he not reserved with his compliments she would have received far greater as well.
”I presume you wanted me involved and not just a spectator for this, then?” He really was curious to what she was planning. And to what extent she had actually planned.

Lilith loved toying with humans. They were so much fun to watch crumble and run around like chickens with their heads cut off or whatever. She could feel the heat rising to her face as his compliment. She could have hidden it with an illusion, making her look all calm like the underside of...whatever humans used to describe being calm. She knew he could sense an illusion, even if it didn’t quite register the same as a lie, and she didn’t want to irritate him with it. At least, that was the excuse she gave herself as to why she let him see her blush at his compliment.
She looked at the bar tender and held up two fingers. In only moments there were two glasses of a lovely merlot sitting in front of them. ”Just talk to Julius over there if you want more, or something stronger. Sadly, I don’t think they have anything strong enough to really get you drunk, but that is something I don’t think I’d mind seeing.” She gave him a wink, to try and give him back some of that flattery he’d given her. He looked so yummy, but then again, he always did.
”Mmm,” she voiced, shaking her head, swallowing the mouthful of wine she’d taken right before he asked if he was to participate. She slid off the stool she’d sat on and took the step and half to close the distance to him. Her bottom lip curled under her top teeth as she gently bit it, her eyes slowly traveling from his chest up to his eyes. Her hand hesitated for a moment at her side before she smoothly lifted it and gently touched his cheek.
”No; at least, not yet. For now, I just want you to watch for now.” She ordered another drink, some fruity mixed thing. For this night to work, she needed just one person out of the way. Create something of a power vacuum. ”I’ll be back. Save my seat?” Lilith gave him what would probably pass for a coy smile from her before she waltz into the girl's bathroom with the mixed drink. She set it down next to a brunett at the sink.
”Oh man. I love those things. So yummy right?” ”Just the best. I had them add a little something different though. Hey! If you like the original, you should totally try this one.” Her pheromones were upped, she needed to make sure the girl did what she asked. Her pheromones didn’t actually compel people to do things, but people tended to do things for people they were attracted to. The girl smiled at Lilith, picked up the drink, and took a sip. Lilith caught her before she hit the ground and the succubus easily tucked her into a stall.
Her illusion convinced the woman boyfriend that she was the brunett enough for him to punch out the man she suggested should kiss her. Lilith played the part of the drunk girl, and stumbled back away as more and more people were drawn into the fight. She then turned and made her way back to Leif. ”I sometimes wonder if anyone else up here can give me a challenge except you. And yet, the chaos and the snowballing still make me smile.”
