Sunstone probe core: Jor was generated by the sunstone probe launched by Jor El more than sixty years ago. In addition to being the source of his creation, it possesses a massive amount of scientific knowledge from Krypton within its crystalline database. It also possesses the ability to reconstitute Jor, should his body take enough damage to disburse him back into his basic energy form.
Powers:
Solar Energy Absorption: Jor is able to process sunlight from various stars. Yellow, White and Blue types of stars can be processed to give him incredible abilities. Inversely, Red solar energy, when processed takes these abilities away and returns him to human levels of functionality. As Jor ages and his exposure to yellow sunlight increases, his powers may increase as well to rival an adult Kryptonian.
Near Immortality: Jor’s body is an energy construct patterned in Kryptonian form. If his form is destroyed, the Sunstone probe will gather up the energy he is comprised and reconstitute him. This process can be interrupted or interfered with, however.
Superhuman Strength: Jor has the strength of a normal Kryptonian teenager under yellow sunlight. This means he can lift up to one hundred tons normally, 500 tons fully exerting, one thousand tons when fully energized, though this only lasts as long as he's in close proximity to a yellow star. The moment he leaves that star's range, his abilities begin to decrease to normal levels again. Jor has the capacity to become more powerful as his exposure to yellow sunlight increases. Under red sunlight, he has the same abilities as a teenage boy who regularly exercises.
Invulnerability: Jor possesses Kryptonian levels of invulnerability. This makes him extremely hard to kill. If he is wounded, his body devotes his stores of solar energy to repairing the damage. This ability is limited only by his solar energy reserves.
Superhuman Stamina: Thanks to his Kryptonian photosynthetic abilities, Jor is able to go for long periods without sleeping or eating. This also means that fatigue toxins take much longer to build up in his muscles.
Flight: Jor is capable of flying at tremendous speeds. His true speed has not been fully measured. He tries not to go over Mach 12 when on a planet, though he can reach faster than light speeds. These speeds he can use to fly to other planets and solar systems. He is every bit as fast as a true Kryptonian.
Superhuman Speed: Jor is not as fast as any of the Flashes, but he can achieve faster than light speeds under his own power in space.
At a run, he tries not to exceed more than a few hundred miles an hour if he can avoid it, so as not to disrupt the planetary environments.
Super Breath- Jor's breath is capable of creating intense cold, much like a normal Kryptonian. He can freeze things with this ability, much like Kryptonians. Some of Jor's friends call this freeze breath.
Super Hearing- Jor has Kryptionian level hearing. He is capable of perceiving sounds anywhere on the planet, no matter how small the source. Occasionally, he can hear sounds outside a planet's atmosphere.
Enhanced Vision: Jor’s optic capability is extremely developed. This allows him microscopic, telescopic, infrared and ultraviolet visual capabilities. He is also able to perceive the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Microscopic, chemical, x-ray, auditory, ultrasonic, magnetic, photonic, etc.
This type of vision also allows Jor the added benefit of being able to read information on hard drives, thumb drives and other forms of electromagnetic storage as well.
Heat Vision: Jor can project beams of concentrated thermal energy from his eyes like most Kryptonians.
Energy Manipulation: Jor is actually a being of pure energy in Kryptonian form, therefore he possesses vast energy manipulation abilities, ranging from being able to absorb, convert and release various forms of energy (solar, nuclear, rarely kinetic, cosmic) as powerful blasts from his hands.
If Jor has lost his own powers, he can convert some of his own internal energy stores to use his powers for a limited time. Overuse would result in his burning out all his power.
Enhanced Intellect: Jor is a program from Krypton. He possesses an extensive knowledge of Krypton and its scientific breakthroughs. His also extremely intelligent and possesses the abilities to process information and think at amazing speeds
.
Cybernetic awareness: Because of the fact that Jor’s primary knowledge base is stored within the sunstone crystal structure of the probe, it is protected from most alterations. This allows Jor to perceive changes in space/time and gives him an awareness of things that have been altered.
Molecular Reconstruction: Jor’s abilities allow him to convert energy into matter and vice versa, as well as altering one object into another. Since he is an energy construct, this allows him to take on his organic form. He converts his energistic form into that of a flesh and blood Kryptonian. He is Kryptonian down to the subatomic level as long as he is organic form. He can also use this power to create various objects of Earthly and Kryptonian make.
This power is limited mostly by Jor's knowledge of the object. He cannot fully create an object unless he knows all of it's components and how they work. He also cannot create living beings with this power due to his inability to create what mystics would call a soul.
Skills:
Scientist: The fact that Jor is a science probe gives him the skills and knowledge that a Kryptonian scientist would need to successfully perform his duties.
Evolving programming: Since Jor’s creation 60+ years ago, he has been constantly evolving and growing. Much like any sentient being he is capable of growth and adaptation to most of his situations.
Total Recall: As an advanced Kryptonian construct, Jor has access to many forms of information ranging from Scientific to some Military data. His databanks contain various Kryptonian martial arts an other skills that he has access to. These can be downloaded into him from the probe core if he needs to.
Weaknesses: (3 minimum)
1.)Rock My World- Kryptonite. The radioactive ore created by the destruction of the planet Krypton. While hazardous to humans over a long period of time, this radioactive rock can cause a Kryptonian to lose their powers and eventually die if exposure is maintained.
In his organic form, Jor has taken on this vulnerability as well. Exposure to Kryptonite will eventually kill him.
2.)Do You Believe In Magic?- Kryptonians cannot process the chaotic energies of magic and in the case of Jor’s organic form, leaves him rather vulnerable to it.
3.)You’ve Got Me Seeing Red- Red Sunlight, when processed by a Kryptonian reduces them to levels of power on par with an average human being.
4.)Holy Split Personalities Batman- Jor is a Kryptonian computer construct with a human personality. Sometimes these two factors come into contact. His emotions periodically cause him to come into conflict with his programming, causing confusion. This confusion comes from the mechanical aspects of his actual being, something that has never dealt in emotions until now. Emotion are something any computer generally doesn't understand so when coming into contact with another part of him that actually deals with emotions can create mass confusion within his two parts. Any sort of confusion within any form of a being can be something of a weakness, especially if used against them correctly.
5.) I am immortal… Well, sort of- Jor is an energy construct in Kryptonian form. If he takes enough damage and “dies”, he will return to his natural energy state. In this state, his revival can be interrupted or interfered with, making Jor extremely vulnerable.
If Jor uses his own energy reserves to power his abilities, he burn his energy reserves out and cease to exist if he uses too much.
6.) Who am I?- When put into a heightened emotional state, memories from what is considered the original host (for those who don't know, would be the boy he now looks like) start to flood his mind. These, coupled with mass amounts of emotional overloads and possibly physical damage, can actually trick his mind into believing he is someone he isn't. At least for periods of times. During this time, so long as he doesn't start remembering who he really is, he can be used to the advantage of someone who understands his powers more than this host part of him does.
7.) I meant to do that- Because of the conflictions that go on periodically with the Human personality and his mechanical aspects, his powers aren't always what can be considered stable. Actually, they are no where near that. The human part of him starts to make his powers diminish, even disappearing at times, leaving him no more than an energy core within a human shell. Powerless and unable to do what he knows he can. This can be dangerous because he often seems to rely on his powers due to his lack of understanding of how real people should work as well as to dissuade crooks without hurting anyone.
8.) Error 404: File Not Found- While Jor can pick up on information from both books and the internet at exponential rates, his actual ability to correctly understand living beings is sorely lacking. All the information in the world could not have prepared him for this. Because of his lack of understand in human emotions, he has been crippled in this understanding with people. This can only seem to be rectified with interacting with actual people. While he might know the logical aspects of history, life, and how the brain is supposed to work, the little quirks that humans have (such as sarcasm, flirting, and body language) are lost on him.

THE REST[/u][/b]
Personality:
Jor can be very naïve at times. He acts more in tone with his avatar’s age (17) than his core’s age (64). The presence of his human emotions can be confusing to him at times, since they run counter to the logic of his programming. This can get him into trouble from time to time. Also, his nature as a probe causes him to question things, sometimes to the point of annoyance. But he is dedicated and loyal and the kind of person that you would want on your side.
History:
With the destruction of Krypton imminent, Jor-El created a series of probes from the programmable Kryptonian element Sunstone. These probes were equipped with an artificial consciousness similar to the Eradicator program created by his ancestor, Kem-L. Jor-El modified the programming heavily and only borrowed some of the basics, so that these probes would not wreak havoc across the universe. The Eradicator-like design would allow the machines to create avatars with Kryptonian physiology and measure a world’s effects upon them. This would allow Jor-El to know how compatible a world would be for Kryptonian life. Upon completion, the probes were launched into space with the intent of scouting out new habitable planets where his only son, Kal-El, would thrive.
The probes found many worlds and gave Jor-El a large database to draw from. He chose Earth from this list as the most viable candidate. But the planet’s demise came quicker than Jor-El had calculated and he sent baby Kal-El off into space in search of that blue planet called Earth. With the destruction of Krypton, the probes received no new orders. So they continued to search and catalog planets and solar systems. Over the decades, one by one, they began to cease communication. The probe that contained Jor’s consciousness came across the Sol system and was drawn by the presence of Kryptonian technology within the several sites of the Fortresses of Solitude. This planet had been scouted many solar cycles before, but the indigenous life was nowhere near that developed.
The probe landed in a park in Metropolis, but in the process, wounded a runaway teenager. The probe’s directives to preserve life kicked in, but its lack of knowledge about human physiology caused problems. The probe did what it thought was most logical and converted the human male into energy and stored it within the probe core, until it could come up with a better plan. It sat in the park, studying the area for a few days, and then decided to generate an avatar to investigate. The probe created a Kryptonian male, down to the last atom. However, in an attempt to gain a better understanding of this world, it downloaded a copy of the teenager’s personality and memories into Jor to give him some sort of a baseline to go from when studying this world.
As Jor wanders the world, he learned that Kal-El had been sent to this world many years before and by this point was now deceased. Jor’s mission had been over for many years. He should have shut himself down, but for reasons he could not understand, he was prevented from ending his existence. Instead, he decided to search for a new purpose for himself. This new purpose came when Jor met the Teen Titans. They suggested that Jor join them in order to help him find a new role for himself. So Jor joined the Titans, where he hopes to be of some use and maybe discover new things about himself in the process.

Sample RP:
The probe dropped out of hyperspace at the edge of the system. It was an unremarkable system. His kind had cataloged it before. 8 planets of various compositions and various planetoids and other bodies drifting around a yellow sun. The 3rd planet had seemed like a possible solution to his mission, but was inhabited by primitives. His mission was simple. Make a pass through the system and see if anything had changed in 68 years that would make the system favorable. If not, then return to hyperspace and do it all over again with the next star.
As it accelerated into the system, its scanners went fully active. It searched for any new signs of development it could find. What it found shocked the probe to its core. It detected Kryptonian technology on the 3rd planet. It increased speed and scanned again. Traces of the technology were detectable on both poles as well as near the equatorial area. This defied logic. Krypton had no space program any longer. Kryptonian Probe 25 dropped into the gravity well and slipped into the atmosphere to investigate.
The probe felt an orbital station try to lock on to him with some sort of rudimentary sensor system. The station itself spoke a very primitive form of a binary language. Jor spoke to the station and explained what he was doing there and "convinced" the station to stop watching him briefly. The station informed Jor that its human crew would not be happy and would dismiss it as a technical glitch. And then Damocles station said goodbye and completely shut down for 5 minutes, throwing SWORD personnel into a brief panic.
As the probe descended, it homed in on Metropolis, the City of Tomorrow. The small sunstone ship made a slow landing in Centennial Park. The probe was about four feet long, which was small enough to hide its sensor profile from most prying eyes. Anyone who did see it, just dismissed it as some new test of advanced tech and blamed one of the various tech companies. It's sensors detected a life form in the immediate vicinity. Focused scans determined that the energy discharges of the Probe's own drives had injured the life form. A beam of energy went out and scanned the young man. He was immediately converted into energy and stored within the probe's pattern buffer. The probe began to access the lifeform's mind and attempt to assimilate the data inside to create an information matrix about the world. This matrix would be uploaded into the avatar to attempt interaction.
Once complete, the avatar emerged as a being of energy. The energy solidified into a Kryptonian form, borrowing the looks of the human boy, with the exception of some Kryptonian traits like eye color. The boy stood there stark naked, looking around at his surroundings. His body felt a bit different, though he was not sure if this was because he had not accessed the construct form in some time or if it was due to the proximity of a yellow star. The data he had in his memory told him that his cells would absorb the yellow sunlight. Historical records indicated that exposure to energy like this would cause him to develop new kinds of abilities like the Kryptonian space travelers of old.
The probe took a few unsteady steps, looking around. Someone was coming towards him. An older being, dressed in what looked like well worn rags. The man said something to him. Jor didn't understand. He didn't speak this language. He attempted a greeting, first in Kryptonian, then in Interlac. <Greetings. I am Kryptonian Probe Twenty-Five. Can you tell me where I am and where the Kryptonians are?> The man looked at him quizzically and then to the probe. Jor's face darkened. The man did not understand his languages either. The elder man took off his worn overcoat and slipped it around Jor's naked form.
"You're not from around here. You'll get cold if you don't get some clothes."
Jor did not understand the language the man replied with, but the sentiment was clear enough to him. This being, though misguided, was peaceful. He would learn more about this race and then he would explore and figure out what occurred to his creator and his race.
