Melody Talent, the new Harley Quinn. She was certainly someone he had an interest in. Not only was she friends with Izzy but she was also his new 'leader's' closest ally. That was certainly something he'd need to know more about. Izzy had been vague on Melody, something that concerned him. He knew she wanted to keep her lives seperate he also didn't much care for secrets from her. Yes he had secrets to her, but that was for safety reasons. He was in charge he didn't actually need to divulge everything. The fact he told her anything was merely a sign of respect and friendship. While he'd never confront her about it, he'd keep a close eye on her.
So now he was in Gotham. But it wasn't the King of Hearts, or the CEO Max Regem. No, tonight Maximus was roaming the streets. He was easily going unnoticed, a talent he'd had since he was a child. He was dressed in a pair of black jeans, T-shirt, leather jacket with a cotton hood pulled up. The hood plunged his face into darkness, making him look like just another person on the streets. The sirens caught his attention and that was all he needed to hear. Following them he noticed a large fire. He couldn't tell what the building was but the scent in the air clearly said some explosives were likely used. He ducked into an alley and waited. From what he'd gathered Melody was a bit of a wild child and tended to do mostly whatever she wanted. Well except for when Joker was calling the shots. Melody was too wild for him to trust, but Izzy seemed to have a degree of trust in her, which was enough to keep an eye on.
He stood in the shadows and waited, listening. He was using scent, hearing, everything to try and pick Melody out. Then he got a hit. if not Melody then the one who'd set the fire, or caused the explosion or whatever. He could smell fire and accelerant on her. Clearly a woman. Her heart rate was not calm, but joyous. She was having fun. But her foot steps also said she knew she needed to get away. If he was right, likely because Joker didn't know what she'd just done. So that would imply a desire to try some semblance of a solo career. Something he could use at a later date should Joker become too much of a nuisance.
"Lovely night for a walk isn't it?"
He asked with a smile, revealing his elongated adamantium canines. He turned towards the woman as she passed, the light catching his yellow eyes briefly, making him appear like a wild animal stalking prey. Which is exactly what he was doing. He was looking for her and he would find her, eventually.

Melody had never meant for the fire to start. It'd all started off as a simple bank robbery, just her and a few clowns. Sure, Josie hadn't exactly known about it, but Melody doubted her Joker would mind that she was doing some solo stuff. Or at least, she really hoped Josie wouldn't. Really really hoped. But things had gone normally; they'd broken in, shot a few people and made the guards bag up cash for them, and took off, leaving a few people dead and a few more wounded. It'd all been going fine, and it'd just been bad luck that they'd run into the cops, and bad luck when a firefight had started. Sure, maybe she'd helped it along by firing the Beast at one of the cops, but yeah, just really bad luck. And then, during the firefight, one of the clowns had happened to have a small flamethrower, and it'd been bad luck that it'd gone off while Melody was trying to beat his head in to grab it for herself, and then really bad luck that something had exploded. Really really bad luck. She'd never even seen what had gone off, but then again she'd been a little preoccupied with being sent flying through the air. Of course, she'd been fine, able to walk it off a minute or so later. She was tough, after all. Her clowns hadn't been quite so lucky, and she'd left them. Maybe a few of them would have a lovely time in jail.
Despite all this, she had a grin on her face as she walked away from the blaze. It'd been an exhilarating night, and she'd made it out with the money. Most of the cops would probably be a little preoccupied with the fire, and if any did find her, well, she still had Beauty, the Beast and her hammer. She'd like to see what a squad of cops could do to her. And now it was just to make it back to the warehouse and seeing Josie again. Of course, she'd have to change out of her faintly scorched uniform and find somebody to fix it before Josie noticed, but it'd all been a fine night. And then as soon as she heard a guy speak to her, she turned, the Beast in her hands. If he was close, it'd do her a lot better than Beauty. She saw the guy as she turned, and cocked her head.
"Haven't I seen you on TV or something?" She asked, but kept her shotgun raised, "But the shiny teeth are new. Who are you?" Anyone talking to her in this part of town was bad news anyway, and especially after what she'd just done, she wasn't in the mood.

He ignored the gun in his face and kept his attention on her. Guns seldom proved a concern for him. If anything they'd likely give him enough kinetic energy to take out a building and hopefully the shooter, especially this close. But of course killing Melody would not do at all. No, Joker was smart and would figure out it was the King of Hearts or someone similar. Then Izzy would most definitely realize he'd just killed her friend, or maybe best friend, after investigating her, when asked not to. Sure he could likely spin it into his favor, but eventually it'd fall apart and likely he'd need to get a new gang. Which would be the real nuisance. He'd spent so long picking the perfect people for his gang. He wanted one superior to all the rest. Of course beating the other Royal Flush Gangs was not difficult.
She seemed to vaguely recognize him. Not a completely new situation for him. While annoying it was still something he'd need to deal with. He'd luckily done enough to make his face not COMPLETELY recognizable. A little touch up here and there, hid the location of his cheek bones and just gave his face a slightly different apparent shape. Not great but it would do for now.
"I get that a lot actually. However, who I am is of no consequence. I'm simply someone who shares a mutual friend with you. A certain green friend who has a love of flowers."
He said with a slight smile. While the phrase might be vague likely meaningless to most, he was betting she understood. Unless of course Izzy had also had her skin color from Melody. That was something he simply didn't exactly buy. Maximus had a feeling Izzy likely shared as much with Melody, if not more. He often believed there was an entire side of Izzy he had yet to fully explore. Of course he wasn't referring to anything of the carnal sense, despite its accuracy.
"I figured it would only make sense that we should get to know each other. However, here may not be the wisest place for the discussion."

Melody kept the Beast steadily pointed at him as she took one step back. Sure, she worked better up close, but she didn't want to be too close to those teeth. As long as she was close enough to get him good with one blast, and far enough away that those teeth didn't get her, she was in the gold. She definitely recognised him from somewhere. Maybe from TV, but she also felt like she'd seen him before. Her brow furrowed for a moment, causing slightly strange effects with her makeup, but then she turned her face back to normal, but still with a manic grin. "It matters to the girl you're talking to," Melody said, but she was too happy to take the situation very seriously, so she didn't sound too fussed. And then his mention of their mutual friend makes her frown again. "You mean Izzy? How do you know her?" She frowns again. Him with Izzy, it rings a bell...
Mentioning Izzy was the first thing he'd done that actually made her want to talk to him. Her and Izzy were very close, but there were things they didn't really talk about. Until recently, Izzy hadn't known about her and Josie, and Melody knew there were things the other girl didn't tell her. Maybe this guy, whoever he was, could tell her some of the stuff Izzy wouldn't. "A girl can't just go around with guys she meets on the streets," She said with a giggle, "But I think you're gonna be a good boy if I go with you." And by that, she meant that she was pretty sure she could damage him if she had to.
"You seem to know a lot about me than I know about you," She said, still not relaxing the shotgun. Josie was probably going to yell at her even more for this if she found out. Not only was she out doing her own thing without asking, she was no going with some stranger. Hopefully Josie wouldn't find out, but if the other girl asked, Melody was hardly about to lie to her.

She really wasn't giving up on this was she? It was almost impressive and he could see why she and Izzy were friends. They both often behaved like a dog with a bone. If they wanted something, they were going to get it, no matter what. Hell he even suspected torture wasn't out of the question for finding out who he was. While he had no concerns about not being able to withstand the torture, he didn't feel like dealing with that. He suspected there wasn't anything she could do to him he hadn't endured for practice. Well unless she had some Smilex on her. But something told him that only the Joker got to play with that.
"For now you may call me Maximus."
He knew he needed to prepare. He was faintly aware that his time as Max Regem was drawing to an end. People were already slowly drifting from FriendLink to other forms of Social Media. He wasn't too concerned as he had noticeable investments in all of them as well. But when the time came down to it Maximus would need allies, as he may lose members of his gang even. Which is a real shame because he'd hate to have to kill them for disobedience. Mostly because he'd invested a lot of money in strengthening them and improving them. But of course he was prepared to destroy each of them.
"Isabella and I go back quite a ways. We are very close friends. Perhaps not as close as I'd like, but I'm a patient man."
He said with a light laugh. He was looking forward to getting closer to Isabella, but hadn't for some reason. It was obvious to everyone that there was an emotional bond there between the two of them. But as of now neither one had really acted upon it. Yes while in costume they flirted more, but that seemed to be all they ever did, was flirt.
"I don't do good. But I won't harm you, unless you give me reason to."
He said going down the alley. He could see why Joker was torn between tolerating her and wanting to beat her with her own severed limbs. But he knew he couldn't just kill her, well not yet. Of course given the opportunity he would happily kill her. Well, after getting ever possible piece of information he could out of her. He didn't think she knew much, but getting the information would certainly be fun.
"Finding out about you wasn't too difficult. Someone like you tends to draw attention, especially in this city. Besides, if I'm going to spend time with Isabella and you seem to be a friend of her's, it's only logical that we get to know each other."
He said as he walked with her. He pulled out a cigar, lighting it and flicking the match into one of the seemingly ever present puddles that littered the streets and alleys of Gotham.
"So how did you and Isabella meet?"

Melody's eyes flickered to the guy's own, trying to read them. She slowly relaxed the Beast, not pointing it directly at him, but didn't go as far as to put it away. Nope, she wasn't trusting the guy that much. Which was strange, as she trusted people quite a lot. Maybe it was the way he'd been almost waiting for her in the dark, it was just weird. But also kinda sweet. "Maximus?" She asked, her brow furrowing. That was...unusual to say the least. And not just unusual like Melody was unusual. Nobody was called Maximus. She was almost tempted to point his out to him, but decided against it. It probably wouldn't do her any favours, and if this guy was a friend of Issy's, she didn't want to piss her off by offending him. She would piss this guy off all she liked if it seemed funny.
"She never mentioned you before," Melody commented offhandedly, "Never mentioned anybody called Maximus. Can I call you Max?" She smirked to herself again. This guy looked a lot less imposing if you referred to him as Max. In fact he kinda looked like a Max. "Me and her go back quite a bit." A generation, according to Issy, and Melody had no reason to doubt that. Or anything Issy told her. The laugh and the remark made her face harden briefly as she felt a surge of jealousy and possessiveness. She didn't want this guy getting to close to the second most important person in her life. Sure, it was a distant second, but she still cared about Issy a lot, and she didn't like the implications of what this guy, Max, was saying.
"You'll still be a good boy, Max," Melody commented, grinning at him, and it was a very large struggle to not refer to him as Maxie. He looked kinda like a Maxie, really. "And you won't try and hurt me without reason." She said all of this in a very upbeat and casual fashion. As he explained it wasn't too difficult to find her, she was about to protest that, but then remembered the fire that was still burning somewhere in Gotham. Maybe she wasn't the sneakiest of people. "Well I would introduce myself, but you clearly know who I am," Even if he hadn't already known, which he had, it wasn't like she kept it a secret she was Harley Quinn. She looked down at herself, at the none-too-covering corset and the tight trousers and the fingerless gloves and the boots, all in red and black. Yep, it was definitely easy to tell it was her.
As he started to walk down the alley, she took a few steps after him and then threw herself into a roll, going over her shoulder smoothly and covering the distance between them pretty effectively as she climbed to her. He'd said he wouldn't hurt her, and well, if he tried, she'd feed him her hammer, so a little bit of theatrics to get close couldn't hurt. "Her mom knew mine," Melody said and shrugged. It was the most she'd learnt about her mother.

As she asked if she could call him Max he shook his head. No one called him Max, not unless he was presenting himself as Max Regem. Even Isabella knew better than to call him Max when they were alone. He hated that pathetic name. Max was some hipster douche tech genius. If it wasn't so profitable he would've wrapped it up a long time ago. But damn, it made him so much money. Of course he didn't need it. He just used it to invest in other companies, like Stane International. Yes, he had so many plans for down the road.
"Maximus, please. I knew a Max once, annoying little ant. Why I haven't killed him yet is beyond me. Well, I suppose he does still have some use."
He said with a light smirk. He did look forward to killing the Max Regem name though. When he was no longer useful it would be so much fun. He would make the death very public however. Some tragic accident. He could probably use it to take down some rival companies as well. It'd be quite fun. Isabella could sue and he'd eliminate some potential new competition. Yes, he'd really need to work on that.
"Just like I said. I won't hurt you, unless given a reason. I'd hate to have to explain to Isabella that her best friend is lying face down in a gutter somewhere. Plus I'm sure your boss won't appreciate that."
He said with a laugh. Of course he also had a feeling that Joker would mostly be angry that she didn't get to do it. Of course the repercussions would be very annoying. It'd be something that it'd be hard to deal with. Although when he killed her too he could also just snatch up her little Injustice League. Not really his style but he could see some use in the team. Use them as a distraction while he and his Gang did the real job.
"Ah, so that's the relation. She mentioned there was some long lasting relationship there. I was hoping for a more interesting story. But I suppose a friendship of moms has its own interesting story. So, that leads me to my next question, who is your mom?"
He asked curiously. He ignored her flipping and so forth. He found the acts both pointless and wasteful. It seemed like a waste of energy that could've been better used elsewhere. But he'd also never been one for acrobatics. He did also have a few theories on who Melody's mother was. Knowing who Isabella's was it made the circle very small.

She had to call him Maximus? Well, that was no fun. He so suited Max. He looked kind of like a Max, actually. "You sure I can't call you Max?" She asked, "You could always kill the annoying one you know." She shrugged. His lookout if he didn't. "But fine, "Maximus" it is." She did try to sound like she didn't think it was a silly name as she said it. She raised her eyebrows at him as he mentioned leaving her face-down in a gutter. Well, he was wrong if he really thought he could do that. "You'd try to leave me face down in a gutter," She corrected again, "And then you'd end up choking on this." Despite the chance for a crude gesture there, she indicated the hammer on her back. As she said that, she wondered if she could actually force it down his throat. Not the mallet end, certainly, but maybe the handle....Well, it'd be hilarious to test out. Probably not on Maximus. She didn't want to explain to Issy why she was forcing a weapon into his stomach.
"You're right my boss won't," She said with an odd hint of pride in her tone. It really was important to her that Josie would be angry if she was murdered. Hopefully. She totally would. She joined in with the laugh, but, as genuine as it sounded, she was forcing it. "And we've been friends for years," Melody said slightly defensively. It sounded to her like he was insulting her friendship with Issy, and he wasn't about to let him get away with that. "Why would I tell you who my mom is?" She worked to lessen the defensiveness in her tone then. She wanted it to sound casual, enquiring, even. It wasn't like she'd tell him even if she knew, which she didn't. Issy had never told her, and neither had her adoptive family. "I'm not exactly about to tell you who I am." That was one thing Josie had drilled into her. Never reveal your true identity.

"Oh, Max will die, all in due time. But, like I said, he still has some use."
He said with a shrug. Of course the Max in question was Max Regem, his alter ego. Sure he wasn't insane by any means but he saw Max as a sort of role he was playing. He wasn't a real person and Maximus knew he never would be. Sure it was fun to play him as a sort of means to relax and get away. Plus no one thought much about Max and Isabella hanging out, especially being his assistant. He couldn't help but laugh though at her comment about force feeding him the hammer. He of course didn't even see her as a threat. Sure he'd never kill her, given her usefulness. Plus he had no desire to ignite a civil war just because Melody annoyed him. Not to mention Isabella would be furious and likely try to kill him too. Then he'd have to eliminate her, that was something he didn't find acceptable. He felt no point in pointing out that he wouldn't need to TRY to leave her face down. Should he want her dead, she'd be in a puddle of her own blood, provided he didn't vaporize her.
"Yeah, didn't think you'd divulge, but it was worth a shot."
He said with a light laugh. He was trying to ease tensions however. He needed to ensure that things stayed nice and calm. The last thing he wanted at this point was her to get all uptight and assume she'd need to attack.
"It's good to meet another person who doesn't go around bragging about their lineage. I find it so annoying. People trying to cash in on their parents' names and legacies instead of making their own."

"I'm sure you could find someone else to use," Melody told him. Back in the olden days, she probably wouldn't have been recommending killing someone for being annoying, but well, things had changed and she'd grown as a person. Thanks to Josie. "Maybe someone a little less annoying." But then he laughed at her and her eyes narrowed. Who the hell was he to laugh? Some guy with metal teeth, who cared? She could totally ram the hammer in any number of places, it was only a lack of need and Issy that was stopping her. And if she couldn't force it into an orifice, she could just batter him with it. She'd seen superhumans be hit by it and fall down. Did this guy really think he'd stand up to it? Sure, she didn't know what he could do, but she doubted strongly that he could annihilate her quite so easily as he seemed to think.
"Kind of a dumb question, really," Melody almost scoffed at him, "It's not like I'd ever tell some stranger that, no matter how close they were with my best friend." She was almost getting defensive and territorial with those last words, and territorial wasn't something she did all that well. Of course, the main reason she didn't 'divulge' was because she didn't know who her mother was. She really needed to ask Issy at some point. Her friend would tell her, right? Still, maybe the guy had asked for the same reason she sometimes asked Josie stuff. Just...on the off-chance. On the slight hope of getting an answer. But why would he care who her mom was?
The next laugh didn't sound nearly so annoying or provoking, and Melody felt some of the anger draining out of her, but an odd wariness and protectiveness had settled over her. "I'd rather get famous off of my own merit," She said. That's what she'd been trying to do before Josie had become the single most important thing in her life, yes? A film or something? She was pretty sure it was. "Not use mom's name." Not that she even knew if her mom had a name anyone knew.

She was right. There were people who were equally useful if not more useful than Max Regem. However as of now Max was still useful. Now though, now she was right and Max was going to be killed soon. He personally was fine with that and had made more than enough preparations for the death of Max Regem. Even his old close employees would be taken care of. Izzy could get in on another great company to give him an inside source. Of course that was if she wanted to be with them. He wasn't opposed to her staying with him and doing more work as the Royal Flush Gang. He'd never once force her to do anything she didn't want to.
"You're quite smart Melody, I'm impressed. So many people have a history of disregarding the sidekick of the Joker."
Of course in his experiences they'd also rarely given him much reason to think twice. Although he of all people knew to look twice. So many people weren't the kind to look deeply at sidekicks. But Maximus had been raised to be a sort of sidekick before plans changed. Now Maximus was a deep and complicated leader and he knew this Melody had the same potential. She was smarter than she let on. She seemed more impulsive than anything.
"I'm glad we're thinking the same way. We're all better off thinking our own way and doing things ourselves. It seems better for everyone that way. Particularly because anyone can get famous off an already established name. It shows now real skill. Of course you also get people who adopt already established names to make them more impressive. However that rarely works out."
He said calmly. He himself had willingly become the next King of Hearts to fix the gang. It had once been an amazing thing and a dominating gang. Then weak fools took it over and inter personal squabbling had caused massive rifts and made the gang no more than a joke. As they walked he glanced over at an all night ice cream shop and smirked lightly.
"Feel like a cold sweet treat Melody? Especially since the cops will begin canvassing the area and we're prone to standing out."

Melody couldn't help but look at Max with suspicion as he called her smart. It wasn't something she was used to hearing it. Josie wasn't a stranger to letting her know how stupid, how downright moronic she was, especially when she did something her Joker didn't like. Melody had sat through entire tirades about how stupid she was from Josie. And as for Izzy, well, her best friend never outright called her stupid, but there were times when Melody was convinced the other girl was silently judging her intelligence. After all, Josie had to have a reason to call her things like that, so maybe Josie had a point, and Izzy was just too nice to say it. Most of the time, she didn't think Izzy would do that, but sometimes she convinced herself. Still, at his words, she couldn't resist a smile. "I don't really know much about the other Harley Quinns," She said to Max. "I don't care about any Joker other than mine, and the...sidekicks of his don't interest me."
That bothered her, however. Was she really Josie's sidekick? She'd always thought of them more as...partners. Not equals. Most definitely not equals, but still, partners. Maybe not partners in the way Melody hoped for, but they were still...a partnership, weren't they? She was above the clowns, above the hyenas, above everyone. Josie had put Melody on par with the guy running her club, and he wasn't a sidekick. But still, people didn't just look at her and think 'sidekick' did they? She wasn't bothering to conceal her emotions, so a myriad of conflicting and possibly contradictory facial expressions flickered over her face as she had this internal argument with herself.
She also kept quiet as he talked about using your own merits for fame or infamy. Sure, she tried to make her own name, being at the right hand of all Josie's "operations" and carrying out solo heists or raids when she got the chance, but it wasn't like she was the only Harley Quinn to have ever existed. Was she just riding off of their success. His smirk cut off her thoughts, and she nodded. "As long as you're paying," She said, and then grinned, "Smallest note I got is a hundred right now." Several hundred of them, actually.

While he respected her not focusing on the predecessors and simply doing her own thing, he also felt she was making a mistake. One should always be aware of those who came before. The original Joker and the previous Harley Quinns were a force to be reckoned with. They nearly destroyed Gotham several times over and Joker had been redeemed in the end, fighting to save Batman. While other villains didn't agree likely Maximus did. Without a hero a villain is nothing. Just like without a villain a hero is nothing. They need each other to exist, whether they admit it or not. In the end, you can't have one without the other. But if she wanted to ignore those who came before her that was her own mistake, especially given those several mistakes they continued to make. He simply nodded his head and noticed the confusion going through her right now. She likely wasn't used to compliments, most Harley Quinns weren't. If he had to guess she had been belittled like those before her while she was now getting compliments from a relative stranger. He knew in the end she would stick with what Josie said, that was her safe place.
"Well of course I'm paying. What kind of gentleman would I be to invite you out for something and then not pay?"
He asked as he held the door open for her. He followed her inside and walked up to the counter.
"Whatever you would like."
He said with a smile. He was careful to not sue her name for obvious reasons. He knew it could be risky if she was spotted. Mostly because Josie wasn't an idiot. She would see this for what it was. Him getting close to her sidekick and possibly planning a coup. While he had no desire to take over the League he wanted an in should he need to. The guy behind the counter gave them each a weird look.
"What? We're from the circus. She's Crazo the Magnificent and you're looking at Tin Grin, the metal mouthed boy from the freak show."
He said with a smile revealing metal teeth.
"We want ice cream."
He said before glancing over at Melody. Perhaps she was rubbing off on him. Or perhaps this was simply the kind of effect Gotham had on people. It would explain a lot and he wasn't against a little craziness.

Melody didn't try to guess what Maximus was thinking as he held the door open for her. He clearly knew what he was talking about. Everybody in Gotham knew who Harley Quinn was, but few of them knew enough to know that there had been several Harley Quinns, and yet this guy seemed to know more about it than she did. More than he was telling her, probably. But she wasn't good at reading people. It was like Josie said. She was stupid and she was bad with people. She'd never be able to guess what Maximus was thinking about her. Despite his offer and her going along with it, she didn't trust him and she didn't think she especially liked him. Still, he'd been nothing but nice, even if he'd been lying with the nice things he'd said.
"Well thank you, Maximus," Melody said, the earlier threats of violence and shotguns and hammers forgotten. Not that she wasn't more than prepared to shoot him, blast him and whack him if it came down to it, but she didn't feel the need for violence or threats right now. She looked at the counter as Maximus said she could get whatever she liked. Back when she was a child, she'd order ridiculous and extravagant things from shops like this, but nowadays, due to necessity, she went for...plainer things. Less attention paid, less required. All she needed.
"I'll get..." She was tempted to ask for something with a bit more extravagance, but then she thought of Josie, "I'll get a chocolate ice cream." She was aware how fully ridiculous it was to be in full costume out in public like this. She was a reasonably iconic figure in Gotham, probably only less known than the Bats, and of course Josie. Considering that, and the shape she was in, the staff of the ice cream shop looked terrified.
"You do realise that people know who I am, right?" She asked Maximus as he tried some lie about them being from the circus. If she hadn't been in full costume and make-up, with two guns and a hammer, she'd have gone along with his "Crazo the Clown" thing. It wasn't like she hadn't played worse roles for Josie before. She wanted to ask about the metal teeth, but she didn't want to be rude.

He stood there calmly as she ordered. He was actually disappointed in her order, namely since it was extremely boring. Sure it wasn't as bad as vanilla, it wasn't much better either. She was indeed an interesting character. Was she just a simple creature or was she playing at something else? He'd figure her out yet. Or come as close as anyone could to figuring out someone who was pretty much certifiable and likely as insane as they came, well aside from Joker and maybe a few others.
"There you have it, two scoops of chocolate in a cone for the lady and I will have.....two scoops of mint chocolate chip in a waffle cone, quickly."
He said slapping some money on the counter and crossing his arms as he turned towards Melody. She was more interesting than she let on even. He couldn't help but laugh slightly at her comment. There was her intellect again, coming through. But he wouldn't point that out since that was a whole other road he didn't feel like going down just yet.
"Oh I'm certain they know it. I'm just curious as to if they'll have the guts to call me on it. So far no. So I say just enjoy being Crazo the Clown for awhile. If they call us on it then we get the fun of teaching them to not question something I say. The smart ones in my circle learned that a long time ago. It was enjoyable teaching them a lesson"
He said with a smile and far away look in his eyes. He began to tap his adamantium nail on the counter, each tap making a hole deeper and deeper with each tap. He heard someone clear his throat and glanced over, taking the two cones. He handed Melody her's and glanced over at the guy behind the counter.
"I'm having a meeting here. Should you decide to call or text anyone about just who happens to be in your shop....nothing will happen to you. You friends and family on the other hand, well they will pay dearly for your decision. But rest assured, I will ensure that you live a long...LONG lonely life. Anyone who gets close to you, a brutal death. After all, I do so enjoy having my desert before my dinner."
He said with a big, ominous smile. He then turned around and decided to sit down at a corner table with Melody.
"I love terrifying people, so much fun."
He said staring at the guy behind the counter. The guy grabbed the phone and smashed it on the ground.
"See, everyone had some intelligence, they just need to right motivation."
