Nitewing, or JJ Grayson from the alternate universe, made his way to the warehouse he and Rayne were using to hold their prisoners. Primarily because they had a mission of their own to do. Well not an official mission since they were there for their own reasons. Namely getting their daughter back and maybe messing with their counterparts. They could prove useful down the road, but for now they were just keeping them in cages until they discovered more ideal uses for them. JJ walked past the two cages they'd set up. One had May sitting on the floor, a powerful magnet holding her to the ground. The other was a cage with a special dampener that kept Rayne and now Barby from teleporting out.
"Hello there ladies. You all are looking happy today."
He said with a laugh. Barby meanwhile was sitting calmly in her cell, legs crossed and examining her nails.
'My dad is going to kick your a** so hard.'
"Well he didn't stop me when i snapped his arm and threw him off your balcony."
He said with a laugh before walking off and looking around.
"Now where is my beautiful wife?"
He asked with a smile before walking past the cages and heading towards where evil Rayne and evil Olly were last seen hanging out. He knew May should be at the Jean Grey Academy by now doing whatever it was she was supposed to do. JJ didn't really care or find it even interesting. He had his own mission and had no desire to be with the rest of the people from that universe.

Evil Olly, known in his universe by the codename of Lord Temporal, was simply relaxing near the cages. He was sitting in a chair, feet on a table and watching a movie on a tablet. He sipped his beer as he sat there, keeping his eye on the cages. So far not much had been happening of interest. The people in the cage didn't really do much. Occasionally they needed something like food or the bathroom. Why he was in charge of that he had no idea. When Nitewing came in he glanced up and sighed a lightly.
"Last I saw she was laying down. And did you really snap JJ's arm? Nice. Did he go splat when he went off the balcony?"
He asked with a laugh before pausing his tablet.
"Also, did you know in this universe the movie Avatar was a massive hit? So far it's much better than the crap we got. However their version of The Happening....oh my god terrible and preachy. Seems this whole reverse universe thing goes into most other stuff."
He said shaking his head. He knew JJ likely didn't care about any of this. The two of them never got along, but put up with each other. That was primarily because of Rayne. They each loved her and simply wanted her to be happy. He lit up a cigarette as he restarted the movie. With a sigh he exhaled the smoke before pretty much pushing JJ out of his mind.

May hated everything, her cell included, She hated being sucker punched and jumped by herself and waking up in here. The cell was cleverly designed, she had to admit it. If she wasn't being held in it she'd be impressed by it's simplicity. She had cuffs that covered her hands, made of some sort of material to ensure that her claws never got out. Perhaps adamantium was more plentiful in their world than in this. The floor of the cell was a giant magnet, making her stuck to the floor. She watched as this Nitewing guy taunted Barby about killing her father. That was insanely dark and she wouldn't stand for it. Well, mostly because she couldn't stand right now, let alone get out and actually do something.
"Don't listen to him Barby. Your dad's fine. He's just trying to scare you."
Although she wished she believed her own words. What could an actor do against a guy like him? Sure JJ seemed tough, but in the end it wouldn't do much good against an apparent villain. She tried to move over to the bars, to be closer to Rayne and Barby in their cell but sighed, unable to move.
"Hey Lord Tempura or whatever your stupid name is, can you turn this magnet off so I can stand? My butt's asleep."
She said with a sigh. She tried moving as best she could but so far nothing. She was pretty much stuck here forever until someone turned the magnet off. She'd tried everything to get this stuff off so far and nothing.

If you get the chance you better keep her To Rayne Grayson, everything in this Universe seemed so wrong, so messed up. Why did that b*tch get to have the daughter that she had always wanted, that she had alwats deserved, and she didn't even take care of her! It hurt her more than anything else, and it was one of the things she often tormented Tempus with. Grayson herself knew everything. That 'Barby', as she was called, wasn't even a product of love. It was a creature brought about simply because Tempus wanted to keep JJ close. Because she turned darkside. Disgusting. Despicable. And it made Grayson so mad. And it even hurt a little that this other woman had it so good when she had to suffer the loss of a daughter who had barely gotten to learn how to speak. She hated it. But it didn't hurt nearly as much as it had when Barby snubbed her after finding out she wasn't the Rayne that the little thing. So while the boys played babysitter, the 'dark' Rayne was laying down in the back room taking a short nap. Or trying to at least. Sleep didn't come easily to her in the slightest but it didn't stop her from trying at least. She had been studying the back of her eyelids for what felt like ages. It wasn't actually that long, she knew, but it felt it. Voices from the front passed along to her and she sighed, rubbing her eyes before sitting up. "I'll be out there in a minute, Baby," she cooed, though it soon turned into a yawn. Oh well. Stretching her arms up over her head, she took a moment to get to her feet and ported herself the short distance from the little room she had set up for herself to the arm of the chair her brother was sitting on. Her hand instinctively moved to rustle his hair. "You should check out this universes version of that show, what's it called... The Following. F*cking brilliant in this world. Kinda disappointed it wasn't as good in our world but aw well, what'cha gonna do? Oh, that man that played Caroll in this version. Mmm, amazing. And rather yummy for a mass murder. Ten outta ten, would recommend," she rambled before looking towards May's cage. She smirked at the tattooed beauty. Her May was better, she would maintain, but this one still looked just as hot. She licked her lips quickly in thought before getting up. "What was that? Turn the magnetism up? Well, if you insist," she chuckled, going to the device that controlled the cage's magnetism to crank it up just a little before twirling away and going over to her Johnny. She focused a moment and ported over to him. She was half tempted to aim for his back but decided against it, instead appearing in front of him. "So, you called, Johnny?" She smiled up at him before leaning up to kiss him. She always missed him and she was pretty sure she still had quite a bit of catching up to do with him. ### | @captain TNG Staff @spidergirl | part one down... |
She's sweet as pie but she'll turn cold as a freezer ✿You think I'm more than you For so long, Rayne had been stuck in this cell all alone with that... that fake coming in to check on her and torture her. There were marks all over her body from various supposed 'games' that twisted thing had played with her. Bruises riddled her body, mostly hidden beneath ratty clothes and, while it had taken so much time, her spirit was finally broken. She had learned a couple of things while she was here in this cell. Things about JJ, about Barby... about herself. Things that seemed to tear her apart. She was more on the chaotic side of good, sure, but the idea that she had only ever used JJ in the future hurt her. How could she do that? How could she have a daughter? How could she have messed up so badly? There had been plenty of nights she had cried herself quietly to sleep, nights she spent praying to a god she didn't even believe in to get out, trying to get Olivier to hear her pleas, her pain, but this cell, whatever magic it was that they used, dampened it all. She was basically human in here and she felt empty, lifeless, like a shell of herself. Nights that weren't spent in pain were spent thinking about John, honestly. She had always loved him, there was no doubt about it, but with the life she lived, she never thought there was much of a future. But if she got out of this, she knew she wanted to try. She really, truly did. But the thing was, she was pretty sure that JJ wouldn't want to give her that chance. Hell, she was also pretty sure she wouldn't live to get that chance. But she could always hope. She expected to be alone here forever. Never had she thought that they would throw May Day into a cell beside her. That gave her small comfort. Because together, she knew they could break out of this. What took that comfort away, though, was when Barby was tossed into a cell with her. She tried to keep calm but at Nitewing's words, she moved over to Barby to hug her close, glaring at the imposter. "You sick son of a b*tch. I can't wait until i find a way out. I will make you and that whore you call a wife pay for everything you've done to me and Barby," she growled, trying to be strong, but her words were empty. Because she knew that she wouldn't get out of this. She lacked that faith, that hope. Her only source of strength came from Barby, really. From... from a daughter she wished she could have been there for far more often than she had been. ### | @captain TNG Staff @spidergirl | and part two done. Phew, hopefully this is all okay ^^ |
But I'm fragile too, just like you ✿

JJ looked into the cage where the weak version of his wife and his future daughter were residing. The cage was of his own design. A simple thing really. It gave off vibrations that threw off Rayne, and apparently Alyssa used to teleport. Being so close to Rayne had allowed him to examine her powers closely. Had she tried to teleport, and she likely did at first, she'd end up in another part of the cage, at best. Most likely it made her dizzy and sick.
"Oh Rayne, don't be so angry. And such language in front of my daughter. Naughty naughty. I might have to take that out on my wife for that. No doubt you'll hear though."
He said with a laugh. He then turned his attention back to Barby and shook his head. She really was the spitting image of his daughter. Well soon enough she would be his daughter again, he just had to wait and soon enough she'd learn to love him and his wife again.
"And no Oliver, he managed to escape. I underestimated his training when it comes to running away. A mistake I won't make twice. But you know all about mistakes when it comes to him don't you Rayne? First you over look so many obvious aspects about JJ. I mean he has to be the most obvious super hero after Thor. But then again he's clearly not known for his intelligence. Chased after a woman who didn't even care for what? Like 8 years. Well 7 considering he's been going after my wife for the last year. Something he will certainly pay for."
He said before turning and seeing his wife appear in front of him. With a smile the visor of his mask came up and he wrapped his arms around her waist with a smile.
"There she is."
He said before leaning down and giving her a kiss.
"Sorry babe, but he got away. He's gone to ground it seems, but he'll likely pop up again later. So be ready. But in the mean time the way I see it we have some time alone and your brother is watching the prisoners...."
He said with a wink.

Oliver glanced over as his sister appeared beside him. He listened to her talk about this universe's Following. True the one in their home universe was a massive flop. But that likely had to do with the fact that in their universe Kevin Bacon is considered one of the worst actors of all time. He only gets work because he seems to know people.
"I'll have to check it out. Although next on my list of movies is that video game movie Pixels. Sure Adam Sandler is hit and miss so I'm curious."
He said with a smile. He then mostly ignored what happened next. His sister and brother in law were always so lovey, it was annoying. He never really understood their whole relationship and he knew he never would. However at the same time he also knew that JJ made her happy so clearly he couldn't be all bad.
"Yes, we need to be ready for anything. So obviously you two need to go and do...whatever it is you two are about to do."
he said with a dismissive wave of his hand. He had no idea what they were thinking. Did they honestly believe this universe's JJ would just take the night off and relax while his daughter was held prisoner? He had to be out there looking for her and eventually he'd figure it out.

May's week or so, she imagine it was slightly over a week based on the comings and goings of everyone, was pretty bad. But at the same time she also knew she had no room to complain. Rayne had certainly seen better times. She felt terrible knowing she'd been paling around with that copy cat. Having all kinds of fun. Of course the fake sure was quick to run back and tell the real Rayne everything she figured. Sure she noticed Rayne perk up a bit but when May got there but that didn't last long. A few beatings here and there and before long May got to take part. Sure the evil Rayne wasn't bad with her jabs but when her fake JJ got there, who was a super hero which was mind blowing, he proved really got at the psychological aspect. May had cried more times than she'd rather admit, but luckily Rayne didn't seem to judge her.
She groaned as the evil Rayne turned the magnetism up, a particular fun tactic of their's. She could feel her own skeleton being pulled down, almost fighting against her own muscles as if it were trying to be ripped from her body.
"I will cut you into little pieces when I get out of here!"
She yelled as she tried to push past the pain. Eventually her body would recover or the magnetism lessened. It never seemed to last long thankfully. Whether some over sight in the power the cage used or not she wasn't exactly sure.
"Alright, I gotta ask. Why go through all this work to STEAL a kid when you could just make another one?"
It was something she'd been questioning ever since she heard the story. It made sense admittedly, but she never did understand it entirely.
