Emily is an odd sort of person. She has a sort of falsely created split personality. For the most part, she's in control of both, however, Karen seems to have a small amount of control over herself. As if all these years of faking the alter ego genuinely created it. But i'll to that in a second. Emily is a sweet girl, often quiet and apologetic when she does something that might seem rude. She's also that person who apologizes to you even if you're the one who bumped into her or knocked her over. She's considerate of those around her and takes genuine interest in everyone's feelings. She works part time at the Daily Planet (though it has started to borderline on a full time job) and takes classes in the nearby college, majoring in english and creative writing while minoring in Psychology so that she has a career to fall back on if photojournalism ends up going sour. As for the other side of her, one of the biggest tell tale signs that she's slipped into her Karen persona is the use of a long haired red wig. It's realism makes it hard to tell it's not her real hair. Karen is more confident, a bit loud, and not afraid of anything really. She doesn't care what people think of her and it's usually as Karen that she goes out and does her hero gig. One small thing to be noted about Miss Olsen is that she's a mutant. Her primary power is something called smoke mimicry, with a small subset that allows her control over smoke and physical gases.

Emily could always use everything: friends and enemies being the priority. She's a sweet girl, though can be a bit shy at times. It's not that she's bad at socializing, it's just more so that she's not as confident in herself when she's not holding a camera in her hand. Photography and journalism give her a sort of confidence that makes it easier to talk to people. Enemies, more than likely, would be more so enemies with 'Myst' (or Karen) when she's out doing her hero thing, although it's possible that there are people who still don't like her or want to trust her because of who her mother is that could lead to some one sided enemies. Love interests, I'm really not entirely sure about but if you have anything, I'm always open.

I couldn't help but notice that you listed Clark Kent as her "Uncle"/godfather so would John and Emily have met each other when they were children?

Fairly likely, considering how close Jimmy was with Lois and Clark in general, i can't imagine that he would ever stop remaining that close just because he has a kid. I mean, they don't have to be close by any means, but i imagine they've known each other for quite sometime. They don't have to, though, if you don't want them to. I can make easy editations.

I have no issues with them knowing each other, I just don't want them to know about each others powers and alter egos as superheroes.

Them being clueless to each others other identities is super fine by me xD I'm sure Emily would want it that way herself anyway.
