Well, she was an American girl raised on promises Gabrielle stood on the edge of the Titan Tower, her eyes scanning the vast expanse of the world around her. She could see a good bit of the city from her little perch. Her eyes liked to focus in on where they occasionally played drive thru movies to see what's playing, figure out whether or not she wanted to fly over there and actually watch. On other occasions, she liked to come up here and be a look out of sorts, see what sort of crimes her eyes could catch as she tried to see what she could, well, see. Still, there were simply times in which she came up here simply to relax, get away, be by herself and whatever bird may find there way up here. Very few aside from Swift ever seemed to. It was peaceful to her, honestly. This floating fortress of a tower was a wonderful place. And someday, she'll have a room in the Avenger's tower rather than this one. That was a day that she looked forward to. Just as she thought about Swift, her eyes caught sight of him off in the distance. She focused in on him, trying to see if he'd found anything of interest to her. She was almost disappointed that there was nothing in it's beak. Oh well. She blinked her eyesight back to normal as she put her left arm up and out in front of her for her friend to land on. Swifts talons seemed to dig lightly into her skin, though she didn't complain. She was used to it by now. For a type of bird that was usually aggressive, Swift had always seemed to be quite lovable, at least around her. Her right hand came up to gently stroke the top of the birds head. She could hear a small trill escape it. "Where have you been, Swift? You almost had me worried!" she chuckled to the bird. She listened to his thoughts as he talked about how he'd went to the park to hunt. He'd at least made a nice meal out of a dove, that made her shake her head. How birds could eat other birds had always revolted her. "Okay, okay, I don't need to know."Gabby stopped her petting as she leaned forward slightly to look down towards the water. They were several meters high, maybe even several hundred, she'd wager. She'd never really had much of an idea the exact height. Maybe someday she'd ask. Or try to actually calculate it. But today? There was no real need for it. Looking at Swift, she grinned. "Ready to fly again?" she asked Swift stretched his wings out before seemingly giving a nod as he took off. He started to fly out a bit before waiting for her. But what she had in mind had been just a little different. Slowly, she leaned forward more and more before she was free falling from the building. She made sure that she was going straight down, like an arrow, feeling the wind against her before her wings spread out there vast expanse, pulling her back up several feet into the air as she laughed, gliding out towards the water before pulling back up. "That never get's old," she laughed before she flew up towards one of the windows. This one was right where what seemed to be the living room was located. She knocked on the window a few times as Swift came up towards her, hovering just over her shoulder. "Hey, anyone home?"593 | @open | I'm sure at least one titan is home~ |

now i can't seem to breathe right cause i keep running
Barry sighed as he found himself taking laps around San Francisco, then that turned into laps around the entire state of California. However, before it turned into laps around the whole US, he decided to take a spin back towards Titan Tower. As he did so he noticed someone flying about and when said person was on one side of the Tower, he took the opportunity to run up the other side and plop down on the top of the tower. He looked down and noted where the girl was hovering he tilted his head and lifted his goggles. "Hello down there!... Uh, you do know there's a door for you to use right?"
With that Barry hopped up, ran down the side of the building and stopped on the balcony right in front of her. "I mean I know you're able to fly and all and I guess doors wouldn't really be your thing but... Maybe?" Barry smirked lightly and once again, in a blur of yellow, red and lightning, took off down the building. When he would appear again he'd be back on the balcony a split second later, the sliding glass door wide open and the young speedster leaning up against the frame with a smirk on his face. "But I guess I could be a nice guy and open it for you..."

Well, she was an American girl raised on promises Swift lowered himself the rest of the way on to her shoulder, seeming to think she was just going to stay hovering there. Gabby tilted her head slightly to one side as she tapped on the glass again. She was sure that there would be someone there. There was always someone there, wasn't there? Maybe she was wrong, though. Maybe they were all out in there respective hometowns. After all, everyone needed a break from time to time. Even she did, but she liked San Fran. She really wanted her sister to fly out here some time so she could give them a tour. But until then, she was okay with going back to New York. After all, she still had tests and training to do at the Jean Grey Academy... Maybe she'd go visit them soon. She was about to turn to fly dive down towards the entrance when she heard a voice from above here. Her head snapped up to look before she started to chuckle. "Well hello to you, too!" she laughed as she waved. She shrugged her shoulders slightly at his question, Swift getting a bit huffy as he flapped his wings at her for moving. "Who said i was looking to go inside? Maybe I was hoping to get someone out here. The weather is marvelous after all." She could feel the small bit of wind that was created from his speed as he came down to the balcony. "You know, sometimes it's hard to get through the doors. Have you seen these things?" She flapped her wings twice a little harder, which propelled her a little bit higher into the air but it was needed to make an emphasis. Not that it really mattered, in a flash, he was gone again, only to reappear behind the glass. She laughed again as she flew over the balcony and let herself properly descend onto it, her wings folding behind her as her feet made contact with the ground. With one hand, she wiped at her goggles to make sure there was nothing on them before turning her gaze towards Barry. "You're such a showoff, aren't you?" She had to ask. Swift dug his talons into her shoulder a little before propelling himself off and into the Tower, which kind of stung, though it made her that much more thankful that she had such enhanced healing. "But I guess I should thank you for opening the door for me." She smoothed a hand over the top of her head to make sure there were no stray flyaways before walking past him. "Saw, do you know where everyone's at? It's never this quiet."Thinking there was a little more to life somewhere else ✿

Barry moved to the side as he allowed Gabrielle room to enter. He tilted his head as he looked at the wings and blinked several times before appearing on a couch. "Well I have been told I can be a bit of a show off... But it's in my nature... I mean I can't help that I'm just that awesome..." He paused for a moment before appearing beside her once again and looking at her wings. "So these are like, actual wings... Like literally attached to your body huh... I thought that they might be an amazing like wing pack of some sort but nope, they are literally attached..
As he looked upon the wings in wonder for a moment he shook his head and spun around to her front. "Where are my manners, my mom would hit me if she knew how rude I'd been... I'm Kid Flash... Not sure how the whole secret identities thing works here just yet so I'm just gonna leave it at that... It's nice to meet you." After shaking her hand he'd run off to the fridge and grab two bottles of water before reappearing on the couch again. "As for where everyone else is... Not a clue. Either home or on a mission... Or it's the calm before the storm... My luck, I'm guessing the calm before the storm..."

Well, she was an American girl raised on promises Show off. Totally full of himself. Yeah, he sounded like a he was a speedster. Just because they can move so much faster automatically means that they're better than someone. Well, she really shouldn't complain because she knew she was better than a good few of the people here too. Or at least she liked to think she was. But, with being one of the youngest members, she supposed that she really didn't have much of a say there. Still, come two, maybe three years from now, she'll be leading this team. And then after that, it was off to the Avengers with Miss America. Who knows, maybe someday Miss America will become Captain America! It's always nice to have dreams, isn't it? Swift seemed to find his perch and he was eyeing new guy like he was something bad. She could hear just what he was say and she tried not to laugh. "Swift, don't be rude," she scolded before turning her smile back on the boy. "Is that your power or something? The world just couldn't handle so much awesome, so they are forced to see you move about in blurred lines?" She joked. Gabby thought that being around Enrique and Walt would have her used to speedy people by now but it still made her just just a tiny bit when he seemed to go from behind her at the door frame to suddenly on the couch. When he started to question her wings, she smirked. She'd always been so proud of them. They took quite a bit of maintenance, but they were well worth it. "They are one hundred percent authentic!" She had to shift her gaze from the couch to the space beside her as he seemed to suddenly fill it. Wow, slow down, just a bit... She wanted to say that, at least, but she couldn't seem to bring herself to. She unfolded her wings slightly, not fully, though. Just enough to make it clear they were attached to her body. "I was born with them. It's kind of a family thing, I think. They're pretty awesome too, aren't they?"It was the slight breeze that he seemed to create every time he ran that was the warning he was on the move again, though this time not too far. From her side to her front. She happily shook his hand as he introduced himself. "I'm Miss America but, really, there's no need for secret identities within the tower walls. Or at least I like to think there isn't. Not like I have much of a secret identity. Kind of hard to keep it secret when I have these!" She twitched her wings as he was off again. She shook her head and moved over to the couch, taking a perch on the arm and bringing her feet up onto the cushions. "You can call me Gabby. It's short for Gabrielle." Of course, he was already on the couch again. In her head, she was already trying to count the seconds before he made a move again. She bet he couldn't sit still for a whole minute before he started trying to move again. As he answer the question, she pushed her goggles up to the top of her head, blinking as she let her eyes try to adjust to the artificial light. It stung a little at first, but it wasn't as bad as natural sunlight. "Awww, I'm sure your luck ain't that bad. I'm sure they're just out, i guess." She paused as she said that. "I really hope I didn't just jinx us. But, you know, really, what's the worse that could be going on out there? Everything seems perfectly calm to me!"Thinking there was a little more to life somewhere else ✿

now i can't seem to breathe right cause i keep running
Barry held out the second bottle of water towards Gabby when she spoke. He blinked at her and felt his head tilt slightly as he let out a subtle sigh. "You know how in baseball when a pitcher is throwing a perfect game only to have the catcher come out and say 'man you've gonna get a perfect game'... Inevitably the pitcher blows it and losses the perfect game... Yea you kinda just did the same thing here..." Barry felt himself just wait for the alarm bells to start going off but for the moment they remained silent. He nodded slightly as he let out a sigh of relief. He shook his head and looked away for a moment before looking back at Gabby. "The wings are awesome though, no doubt about that one..."
He paused as he then realized that the young Titan had just given him her name and with that he found himself feeling rather foolish. He knew that when his father was an active member of the Justice League that they all eventually knew who the others were. So he kinda figured that would trickle down to the Titans and as such he felt his face flush red. He shook it off for a moment and removed the goggles on his head before pulling back the cowl. He smirked and stood up, soon spinning around in a blur only to stop and suddenly be in civilian clothes. "You make a valid point there Gabby... Guess around here trust has gotta be a thing. Name's Barry Allen, a pleasure to meet you."
As he looked over her face he could tell that all his moving about had made an impression. She had already started counting how long it would take him to run off again and he felt his face flush red again. "I'm doing the running around thing again aren't I... I always do that... Well not always but sometimes when I'm around the other titans I can't, not run... It's a force of habit..." With that he plopped back down on the couch, turned on the large TV and propped his feet up on the table as a sign he was going to sit still for once. "I promise I'll slow down a bit..."

Well, she was an American girl raised on promises Gabby kept up a smile as she took the water bottle from him, being a bit gentle so she didn't seem rude. She didn't want to just snatch it or seem forceful or anything. That wouls just be rude. Besides, she had no reason to be rude to this guy yet. He seemed sweet, like he was good people. Then again, appearances rarely meant much in the end. It was what was in the heart that actually mattered. She knew that, understood that to be the case, but appearances never hurt either. She held the bottle up and dipped her head slightly as she said, "Thanks," to him. She blinked, almost confused for a moment until she heard what he said. Shoot, she seriously needed to think before she opened her mouth sometimes. She brought her free hand up to hit her forehead lightly. "I'm an idiot. Quick, knock on wood! That's how ya get rid of a jinx, right?"Hearing that he thought her wings were cool almost made her perk up a bit more, a proud smile on her lips as she let her wings stretch out just a little more for a moment before folding them again. "Not as awesome as speedstering but pretty freakin' sweet, yeah," she chuckled. She unscrewed the cap to take a quick drink before twisting it back on and, rather precariously, attempting to balance it on her knee. She swore she caught a hint of red on his cheeks as he pulled the cowl down but it was gone by the time he spun around to change. She had seen it from the others, but it was always impressive. She found herself applauding, only to abruptly stop so she could reach out and catch the water bottle falling off her knee. "That is so cool! But it's nice to meet ya, Barry. Very nice. Though, ya know, i tend to make valid points!" Yeah, that comment made her feel a bit full of herself, but she tried to keep her cockiness subtle and moderate. She didn't know what it was that tipped him off to the fact that she was counting, but she also didn't seem to care that much, not when she was sure she definitely caught a light blush on his cheeks this time. She chuckled as he seemed to ramble and proceeded to try and get cozy. Yes, she had wanted him to slow down but now it was amusing to her. But, before she would let that amusement get to her, she felt the need to tease him first. It was always fun. "Awww, you're blushing! You're so cute," she kept giggling, shaking her head lightly. "Ya don't need to sit still for me, though, i promise. I'm kind of used to the speedy ones."xxx | Barry Allen | honey, i am so sorry for this late reply x.x i thought i had gotten to it already. so so very sorry riri |
