Alright aside from one negative (The other negative was Arch), and one indifferent it seems that overwhelmingly, you all want a new sub-plot. So it's up to you. All these plots still need extra details that I want you to help contribute to make the plot more engrossing.

Public Enemy: Someone, perhaps a joint HYDRA/Intergang move, is turning public sentiment against metas/mutants and super heroes in general. After a few well placed and well worded traps and headlines the public demands action. SHIELD, either taken from the inside, or their hands tied, begins to outlaw super heroics and super powers. Those human or apparently human super heroes as well as a few other traitors are given amnesty in order to help capture the 'Rogue heroes'. Villains are recruited and the Civil War's THunderbolts are reactivated....with Joker as their leader. When that doesn't work Intergang unleashes their new army, Doomsdays, yes plural. But with the heroes weakened, arrested or on the run now no one can stop this new coalition.

Battle No More: Simply put, the Battle as we know it never took place. Yes the Cabal came and declared war. However, the heroes quickly responded and destroyed the threat. Meaning the villains never interfered. This also means that no one died in the Battle. So the generation of heroes is aging, their kids relegated to sidekick or part time status. An aging generation of heroes could mean short work for the right villain. Especially a villain who may have the Reality Stone. The effects would be over night and most would see this as the way the world always was, however those not affected by the Battle would be very aware of what was going on.

Turning Point: Similar to 'Battle No More'. Someone has erased every character's major turning point, provided they had one. So whether it was a death, some fight, or some discovery, it never happened. The effects would be retroactive and people would wake up new, but wouldn't know it. Those without a major turning point wouldn't change, meaning it would fall to them to solve the mystery and save everything.

Collision: Another alternate universe one. (So I like that story, sue me). Anyways, all the people hopping around universes as well as the previous plot has destabilized this universe. It's beginning to blend with surrounding universes. All changes are retroactive and seemingly unnoticed by only a select few. The changes could be anything. Heroes are now villains, villains now simple civilians. Powers, histories, nearly everything could change. A small group will be unchanged. Namely those who either didn't exist or were already dead at the time of the merger.

Forsaken's Generation: A special team of heroes and villains from the future are coming back to fix something. Their future is an apocalyptic wasteland that was brought on because of some smaller act around this time. A betrayal, defection, locking someone away, it's unclear and they won't share. Either way they're going to stop it, by any means necessary.

Rise of Apocalypse: Apocalypse is back and he's reforming his Four Horsemen and will take over the planet, by any means. Admittedly very bare bones

Mongul Empire: Mongul has merged his Warworld with Earth. Everyone on Earth are simply gladiators for his entertainment. He has somehow gotten around the laws of the Green Lanterns and Nova Corps, meaning they can't stop him.

Suggested by Joki and I totally agree with it. Possibly combining the idea of Forsaken's Generation and Public Enemy could be very interesting and work very well together.

Well Forsaken's Generation goes well with a few of these plots. It just goes best with that one

I don't think we should combine all three. I think combining either Forsaken's Generation with just Age of Apocalypse or just Public Enemy should be enough. All three, like I told Arch, would seem like a bit much.

Well based on votes people want Apocalypse or the kids. But it's possible his followers do a little 'Public Enemy' style thing just to weaken the potential resistance

Oh, most people definitely agree with the idea of the kids one. I'm just saying, considering the public enemies one has the idea of an army of Doomsdays, adding that on top of Apocalypse is just a bit much. Combining all three would be very much over-crowding and there is such a thing as too much of something, hun. Besides, it could always be used as an idea of its own later on down the road instead of trying to make some ultimate compromise by going too overboard trying to combine all three. But that's just my opinion.

Instead of combining perhaps we should just stick with Forsaken's Generation. Just gotta figure out WHY they came back

Oh, I don't mind combining one of them with Forsaken's Generation. it would, after all, work with a lot of them. It's just trying to keep from combining three or four ideas. I think combining it with either Public Enemy or with Age of Apocalypse could be a lot of fun.

Well based on voting it'd be Forsaken's Generation and Rise of Apocalypse. So the kids are likely not stopping Apocalypse himself as he's almost like a force of nature. One way or another he's coming. But odds are someone betrays the other heroes and sets up a terrible world

If I can weigh in here, I'd say it works. Like Apocalypse devastated the world, so the kids come back to try and prevent it happening. Very Fire Emblem: Awakening

I'm a fan of Public Enemy as it is. Plenty of antiheroism to go around. Walt loves it.
