”I’d say this is likely to go beyond a challenge and into a slaughter soon, and you seemed pretty concerned about losing a couple arrows a few minutes ago!” Despite her complaints, Cassie decided to trust the Titans’ judgement. If it got any worse, she knew she could call her brother- that or shape-shift into a tele-porter and make a hasty exit, but she liked Robin too much to want to risk what might happen to the others if she tried that.
Cassie snorted in suppressed laughter at the thought of getting them to surrender. No way would they be able to do that. There were too many of them, and if anyone was going to back down, it wasn't going to be the ones with the alien super-weaponry. Cassie did not like that Robin felt the need to tell Rapidos not to kill her.
Actually, Cassie felt almost as if Intergang were toying with them. She didn't have enough experience of them to know how deadly they could be, but given how scared Robin had seemed earlier, she was willing to guess it was many times worse than this.
”You sound like a midwife.” Why would she need to be told to breathe? But she could see why very quickly- for, for her at least, becoming supercharged was most definitely painful. It was like fire through her body, admittedly momentary, but undeniably there, and Cassie winced, biting her lip at the pain, screwing up her face until it passed- or rather, until the pain softened.
The effect was surreal as the world seemed to slow down. Was this what all real speedsters saw when they started running?
It took a little time for Cassie to start running. She wasn't nearly as fast- or at least didn't feel it, but inevitably with the speed force, she was still immeasurably faster than she would have been normally - as she would have been without the extra mass she had just acquired. But Rapidos easily made up for the slightly lowered speed, and he did indeed pull her along for a few steps before Cassie got her footing and started to run too. She observed Rapidos for only an instant to know she approved.
”Punch everything? Sounds like my kinda plan.” Given she hadn't been the one to start it, maybe her usual tactic was actually a good one for once. Thus Cassie imitated him, lashing out pretty wildly, and straight out running into a decent proportion of the people.

Roxy continued to run across the roofs as she became vaguely aware of Cassie and Enrique planning something down below. She wasn't exactly aware of what was planning but she was focused on dealing with some more hand to hand style combat. Most of her arrows were gone but she still had a few exploding ones as well as a couple sonic arrows. She'd need to save them for later. However there were still a handful of regular arrows scattered around, or buried in suits of armor and the ground. As she ran she noticed some members of Intergang still trying to climb the side of the building and ambush them. With a quick spinning kick she hit one in the side of the head as it peeked over the edge.
"Peek-a-boo!"
She yelled with a laugh. She heard a groan in her ear piece.
'Seriously Robin. We need to work on your smack talk.'
"It's not that bad."
She said to Question in response. She felt armored arms wrap around her from behind and began to squeeze. She brought her foot up and kicked the person holding her in the bridge of the nose. The guy let go just enough for her to slip out and drop down, sweeping his feet out from under him. She corkscrewed and brought her feet up, driving it down on his head. With a kip up she saw another one coming at her. She ran at him and jumped, wrapping her legs around his head and spinning, driving his skull into the roof.
"Alright, who else wants some?"
She asked before glancing down and seeing the two of them in a blur move straight into the big group of armored members.
"She Hulk gets all the fun. Instead I just get the..."
She didn't get to finish as a fist came out of nowhere and sent her down to the ground. She tried to pull herself up and got kicked in the side.
"Cheap shot...."
She said as a hand wrapped around the back of her neck and picked her up. She got a feeling that he was trying to snap her neck. However before he could she slammed a smoke pellet onto his face. He staggered back, coughing and gagging. She then ran and gave him a sharp kick to the crotch.
"One cheap shot deserves another."

Enrique was aware of Roxy taking the fight to the roof and approved. Not a terrible idea since arrows were low. Sure she had a few other tricks, no doubt about that. But in the mean time he had to focus on the main bulk of the enemies and ensure that she didn't get over whelmed. That was where his plan with Cassie came into play. They'd take out a good amount of them and then use the chaos to take out the rest. He could see the speed force slowly taking her over. It was always weird the first time but eventually they got used to it. It was an intense feeling as the Speed Force tended to take over. He knew he could only hold onto them for so long or risk the Speed Force burning them out. But, she was tough and could probably take it longer than most.
As soon as they hit the bulk of the enemy things almost seemed to go in slow motion. The enemy went flying in all directions. Those unphased by the initial impact seemed to stand around, both unsure of where to attack or unwilling. He stopped with Cassie in the middle of the group and let go of her hand. He stood back to back with her and smirked.
"Well Chica Verda, perhaps now is the time to finish this. I am getting hungry after all."
He said with a smirk. He noticed some trying to go for the roof still, likely trying to set up an ambush from above. But he also knew Roxy could handle them. Besides it shouldn't take Cassie and him long to deal with the few that were left. Between the two of them he estimated they'd only need to deal with 7 or so each. The enemy had formed a ring around the two and he let out a slight smirk. In a blur he quickly ran, running around and on the chests of each of the people surrounding them. He ended up right where he'd started but now some of the enemy was disoriented. Using that as an opening he shot forward and quickly began to throw punches. However one punch was soon caught from the side by another enemy in a super strength hand. With that Enrique was quickly thrown to the side of the street and into the side of a car.

It was almost impossible to miss the climbing men at this speed, but the speed force really did seem as bad as what Robin had suggested, and Cassie could see that Enrique was probably only avoiding helping Robin so to not risk her own safety. Which she was of course grateful for, but still, Robin was the cooler of the two titans in her opinion- not just because she wasn't clearly the leader.
Cassie was vaguely aware of Robin's exclamations as they still worked through the bulk of the force. But at this speed they sounded strange, warped. She reckoned it was harder to understand events this way round than from the perspective of a person at regular speed.
Cassie was pretty sure he was calling her green chick. Well, she had heard far worse. Most of which skipped relevancy completely. ”We're fighting off a major criminal organisation- that is three teens- and you're thinking about food?!”
Cassie glared at the goons who surrounded them, almost as though she was trying to stare them down. Unsurprisingly, that was about as effective as bringing, well, eyes to a gunfight. Naturally, they advanced forwards towards the pair of them. Cassie noticed a few of them moving around towards Robin, but she was angled away from the building, so she couldn't really make out what they were trying to do. As soon as this group were out though, she could make sure that whatever was happening to her wasn't too bad. That had to be a priority.
As she was preparing to start tackling them- though how with so little training she was going to be able to take out seven guys at once with not enough time to shift to someone more powerful, even with super strength, was beyond her- she saw the blur that indicated Enrique's own attack. That would certainly eliminate some of the issue. She moved forwards, thankful that the pain from the added energy had now stopped, and made to start punching them in the- well, whatever she could lay her hands –literally- upon. She paused as Enrique was grabbed and tossed by one of the men, but only momentarily.
He was fine. Hopefully. Well, Cassie had about no skill in any sort of health aid at all, so she wouldn't be able to repair any of the probable damage done to him any time soon. But she might at least be able to defend him until he could fight again, so that she might have some back-up to then help Robin with. So she ran, slamming her fist into the previous assailant and doing annoyingly little damage against him, thanks to his armour, and tried to move on past to put herself between the men and Rapidos- but the man she had punched aimed a swing at her instead. If she hadn't still been heavily bulked up, she would have gone flying too. As it was, she was shifted off her feet and onto the floor, where she rolled, trying to get up to run again, and quickly was met with another super-strong fist, which again toppled her. Clearly the strength option wasn’t working. The man managed to pin Cassie down properly, and she could make out the others heading over to where Enrique had been flung to as well. This was definitely the time for the shape-shifting.
And so she again took to the previous reality-warper form.
”IwantbyRapidos-“ Without super-durability that man really did feel a lot heavier. There was nothing more stopping the considerable combined weight of his body and armour from weighing down on Cassie. ”IwantbyRapidos-“ The other men really seemed to be getting too close to Rapidos by now. They must have noticed that Cassie had been going to defend him, and that their most powerful attack had needed him. ”IwantbyRapidos-“ Why wasn't the magic working? It couldn’t be that hard a spell, it was only a few more metres-
Suddenly the magic kicked in, and Cassie landed somewhat clumsily on the ground in front of Enrique. She really hoped he would help again quickly. Even as she shifted back to her more typical green form, she was bracing herself for whatever the gang-members did next, ready to swing her fist straight into the face of the first guy who tried anything.

She landed on one knee as the enemy staggered back, coughing from both the smoke and kick. She jumped forward and kicked him in the chest, sending him off the edge. He hit one other man climbing up and the two landed inside a dumpster. She set her bow down and pulled two bird-a-rangs and held them like knives. She ducked one overhead swipe and spun around, hitting him in the face with her shin. He staggered back and she swept his feet out from under him. She kicked him in the side of the head and turned, seeing two men and a woman, all in armor, standing in front of her.
"Only three huh? Hardly seems like a fair fight. I can wait till you get some back up."
Almost as if on cue two more armored members climbed onto the roof. With a groan she shook her head.
"I had to open my big mouth."
'What did I tell you about that?'
"Yeah yeah, I know. Stop asking for trouble or else it will come up."
She threw a couple of the bird-a-rangs and it caused most of them to stagger back. She ran and jumped up, driving her feet into the chest of one twice. He went down and she landed on his chest. She spun and kicked one in the stomach and punched another in the throat. She then turned and hit each of them again, knocking them down. She jumped and got grabbed out of the air by one and was squeezed. The other walked up and began to punch her in the stomach. She reached into her belt, pulling out an exploding bird-a-rang. She threw it and hit the one punching her in the stomach. It began to beep slowly, then faster before exploding sending her and her holder flying backwards.

He was thrown hard into the car. Sure his powers gave him somewhat limited durability, but it wouldn't do so much. In the end he was hurt and laying on the ground. He could feel pieces of glass from the shattered windows in his hair. He pulled himself up and noticed 6 members coming to surround him.
"Come to surrender? I accept."
He said with a laugh. He cracked his knuckles and was prepared to launch another attack when he was suddenly stopped. He looked down and saw Cassie at his feet. Good thing he hadn't started or both of them would be in pain, and easy pickings for the rest.
"Yo sabía que no podía permanecer lejos de mi diosa verde."
He said with a smirk and a laugh. A couple guys rolled their eyes and Enrique laughed lightly. It seemed the gang wasn't thinking much of him anymore. Stepping beside Cassie he smirked and winked at her. In a blur he surged forward and stopped next to one gang member, his fist buried in the face of the gang member. With a groan he collapsed and Enrique turned to the rest. He'd been examining the armor, looking for weak spots.
"Aim for the hips Hulkling."
He called to her. He ran forward in a blur and drove both hands into the hips of one man and sent him cartwheeling into another. He staggered briefly before reaching into his pocket. He quickly dosed himself before turning to what was left of the gang. He heard a small explosion on the roof top and sighed. He had no idea what Robin had done but knew he needed to check on her.

Cassie grinned at Rapidos’ remark. His retort was likely a good thing on another level than humour, however, as it seemed to slow him down enough to not go running straight into her at super speed-forced charged velocities. Even if she wasn’t generally a pretty honest person, (well, Kree/skrull/mutant hybrid, but person had to do,) she couldn’t deny that that would have been a severe test of her durability at least.
”Um… I think I got the LEGO and Verdi bits.” Well, if the Spanish was working out for him, she guessed she couldn’t fault it, even if she doubted he was actually stringing together any sentence with what she thought she had hear. Maybe she should try talking to people in Skrull sometime; it might be fun.
Cassie was pretty impressed with that speed in which Rapidos found his target. She could have easily just blinked and missed that motion.
”Hips. Gotcha.” Cassie was at a distinct disadvantage for hip-smashing due to her relatively low speed. Still, she ran towards the rest of the group, aiming to follow the instruction. This was a rare turn of events, really, but she couldn’t deny that if she didn’t all their safeties would be at risk, which was a much higher price than having to cope with orders.
She practically charged into one, remembering to slam her fist into his hips, but managing to pull it off as a natural part of her run; mostly because she had no real skill in stopping smoothly enough to pull it off any other way. She really needed a fighting trainer, she just doubted she’d find one soon who could take her strength. Cassie knew she would have to look into that at some point.
Cassie had no real way to miss the explosion from the rooftop. She frowned, concerned over what might have happened. Judging from previous action, Robin would probably be okay; she seemed the sort to cause that damage, and besides it wasn’t an enormous one by any means. Even so, whatever had made her set off an explosion was probably not something she should be left alone with. ”So we get up to Robin, right?”

Roxy coughed as she lay on top of an equally dazed armored guy. The explosion had been more powerful than she'd expected. Luckily her suit was armored, somewhat. It meant that she wasn't hurt as much as she could have been. She rolled off of the soldier and onto all fours. Her head was spinning and she was likely concussed but she'd manage to survive. The one holding her was down for the count it seemed. That meant there were only two left. Her staff was useless and from that explosion likely damaged.
She jumped forward in the air and swung at one who was just coming to. He staggered back before she delivered a sidekick to hos stomach. With him bent over she drove her knee into his face and sent him sprawling to the ground. Panting she turned to the last one, fists raised. The odds weren't in her favor in a fight like this, but she'd also do her best to survive.
"Let's do this."
She swung at him but the fist was blocked and he wrapped a hand around her throat. She clutched to the wrist holding her as she was lifted in the air. She coughed before being held over the side of the building. She didn't have a lot of way to slow her fall so this would likely be bad. The guy was massive, meaning that as she was held out he was out of range of her punches and kicks. That coupled with the air she was losing wasn't doing well. She knew he could likely snap her neck if she wanted, but was grateful that wouldn't be the case. Or at least was really hoping it wouldn't be. She was hoping she'd at least have a chance.

Enrique watched as Cassie took his lead and began attacking the hips like he'd instructed. For someone who seemed to hate being told what to do she sure did a good job following orders. Enrique liked that in a partner and would work on recruiting her later. Of course the fact she was cute didn't hurt matters anyways. After all why should Sebastian and Marty get to be the only ones who flirted? Ok so he was the leader and it was likely frowned upon. But then there was Nightwing who'd slept with half of the Titans it seemed like. Of course he also knew he wasn't up to Nightwing's level at all, let alone even remotely close to it, for now. He was working on it though. He just needed to buy his time and soon his name would be among all the other great Titans who went on to be great Justice League members.
With all of their enemies defeated Enrique glanced over at Cassie.
"Si, now we go and help Robin. Try and keep up mi diosa verde."
He said with a wink before running in a blur. It was then that he noticed Roxy was hanging off the building, one hand around her throat. He sped up and quickly began to run up the side of the building. He grabbed hold of her hand and drove his shoulder into the stomach of the man holding her. The man flew back, letting go of Roxy and Enrique held on. Only one problem though. He had Roxy hanging off the side of the building and was trying to pull her up. But at the same time the enemy was also recovering from being hit in the stomach and coming towards him.
"Hulkling, a little help if you please..."
Running and fighting like that was taking its toll. He was low on energy from all the action. That and Roxy was practically limp, not the easiest to lift with one hand.

As right now her options were follow orders or risk them all dying, Cassie really didn’t have a lot of choice. Had she another option, she would currently be taking it; and probably be making a point about it, if there was a way to do so. This plan did at least incorporate her favourite manoeuvre to some degree, and that was something good about it, at least.
”Keep up with a speedster? Not happenin’, Uncle Tom.” Well, that was near definitive proof that she’d spent too much time with her uncle.
Cassie was way behind Enrique. She had shifted again into her uncle’s form, but unfortunately travelling at slightly below a third of his speeds was no match for what Enrique managed. So Enrique reached their destination way ahead of her. She was tempted to teleport up onto the roof to help like that, but she had a feeling that even though she could copy her brother’s abilities again, doing so would likely drain her of the necessary energy to actually be helpful once she arrived. Thinking things through was a chore, and annoying, but it did at least mean she didn’t become additional dead weight.
Thus when she reached about a half-dozen metres from the foot of the building, she shifted straight into her ordinary form, preparing to catch Robin should she fall. Cassie forced her wings to stretch out into being and with a few too-hard wing-beats started her ascent. This would have been a lot easier had she been able to come in at a better angle, and as it was it was far too steep to be practical; but if she had she would have no way to be close enough to catch Robin should she fall. That was very much her intent.
Hopefully she could reach the rooftop before she fell, but, if she couldn’t, it was a matter of reacting and flying after. Again, hopefully in this stage of the rescue, Enrique wouldn’t get himself hurt too. Cassie dreaded to think how awful she would be if she were left alone against all of the gang members; she had only been lasting so far by pick-and-mixing between as many power-sets as she could and vaguely following cues. Without this she’d be left with her completely untrained punching; a plan that was certainly fun but probably not helpful for getting them all away safely. Or relatively, anyway, she had a feeling this situation currently was tipping that barrier slightly.

Suddenly Roxy felt the hand from around her throat leave. Blood and air rushed back in and to her brain. She was vaguely aware of someone holding her hand and there being no ground under her feet. She could hear a voice with a faintly Spanish accent, as if it were a long way away. There was a sort of echo, but the sound was coming back to her. She coughed and glanced up, seeing Enrique, or Rapidos, holding onto her. She would've rather had someone else, preferably someone with super strength who could easily lift her up.
She opened her mouth to tell him to let her fall, she was conscious enough she could slow her descent. Problem was the hand on her throat had done some damage and it was getting hard to speak. She could see the couple soldiers coming to and starting towards Enrique. She wouldn't let him die because he was trying to save her. She opened her hand and let it slide out of her glove. All at once she fell, putting her hands on the side of the building to slow her fall. Her gloveless hand however was now bloodied.
But suddenly her fall stopped and she ended up in the arms of Cassie.
"I am glad I ran into you She-Hulk. Concrete is much less forgiving."
She said holding onto her. She nodded her head up towards the roof where Enrique was likely fighting.
"C'mon, we gotta help him."
She didn't actually know if Cassie was capable of flying with her, just assumed she could. But for all she knew that simply wouldn't work. Either way her bow was up there and she wanted it back. She hated being without it. Not to mention being low on several birdarangs wasn't helping her sense of security.

Enrique was struggling to hold her up. He was also trying to keep an eye on those who were going to eventually attack him. But he did his best to keep his grip on her. He could likely take a few shots before he gave out and dropped her. And hopefully that'd give her more time to come to and finally help out. Anything that would help him keep her up and not splattered on the ground below. But suddenly her hand slipped free and she fell, and was caught. He lay there, holding her glove and breathed a sigh of relief to see Cassie caught her. Maybe not well or ideal for either of them, but she was caught that's what counts.
"Alright, now it's time for me to take care of you."
He said popping up and surging forward in a blur. He drove his shoulder into the hip of one and sent him cartwheeling off of the roof and into a dumpster. He then turned to look at the last one. He was the big one. The one calling the shots and one who nearly killed Roxy. He cracked his knuckles as the two seemed to stare down one another. Enrique was tired and this guy was one of the tougher ones. But this was basically the equivalent of a boss fight. Of course he also hoped that backup would be coming soon enough.
He rushed forward, going for the same move. At the last moment he realized what a terrible move this was and received a fist to the back, sending him down to the ground. He couched, sending dust and debris flying in his face. He raised himself up only to have a foot press him down. He groaned as he seemed to try and press the wind out of his lungs. He knew if he didn't get out of this his ribs and spine would snap. He needed to focus on his powers and speed, beginning to vibrate. While he could possibly find the right frequency that made the suit collapse he'd be more likely to destroy the roof first. Suddenly the foot was lifted off of him and he felt a hand on his back and back of his neck, lifting him over the guy's head. The guy walked towards the edge of the roof, preparing to throw him off.

Cassie visibly sunk a little from the added weight of Robin landing in her arms. It took her a few wing-beats to stabilise and regain the lost height- long enough to probably be highly disconcerting, if, well, if Robin had still been conscious.
”I am too. Robin-pancakes are much less fun.” She nodded slightly to Robin. Cassie had never had too much experience flying with another person, no. She seemed to be managing it okay, but, even so, their ascent was rather more bumpy than if it had just been her, and definitely significantly slower.
Still, she did make it up to the rooftop, and she placed Robin back on her feet when she landed, still very close to the edge. Her hands paused for a second or so, waiting to support her if she should need it- not that she seemed to. Cassie took the step away from Robin, still shooting a glance over, and definitely planning on staying close. Just in case.
She was a little disappointed that there was only one guy left to fight, to say the least. ”You weren’t gonna save anybody for us?”
She had only enough time to say that before the larger man engaged Enrique, and, quite honestly, she would have thrown herself in there, had the following action not happened a little too fast for her. Cassie had still covered most of the admittedly fairly short distance by the time the man took Enrique to the edge.
Well, there wasn’t much choice about what to do. If she charged for the guy head on, he’d either choke Rapidos or the impact would send him flying over the edge anyway. No. She had to take the annoyingly passive route. Promising to herself that she’d smash that guy’s face in personally, given the chance- heck, even if she was restrained she’d try for it, it seemed fun- she made for Enrique instead. Fortunately, she had yet to get rid of those morphed wings, and dove straight for Enrique instead. At best, she’d get him loose and into flight- at worst she’d force the other man to drop them and could act as a fall-break for Enrique upon landing below. The plan seemed to make sense- certainly enough for Cassie to think it worth trying.

"Never been a fan of pancakes, much more of a waffle type."
She said, holding on to Cassie as she flew her up to the roof. Roxy hated relying on her for this. Well really she hated relying on anyone for anything. Sure she was grateful she'd been caught and not left a mess on the sidewalk. But she was simply not a fan. She was still trying to get oxygen to her brain, which explained why she couldn't remember that she had an emergency grapple gun on her belt.
When they were finally back on the roof she steadied herself and watched as Enrique got his a** handed to him. It was times like this she missed her bow. She began scanning the roof top, looking for any potential sign of it. She noticed it about 20 yards away, on the other side of Enrique and whatever that guy was. She needed to get to it and then she could use her arrows, whatever she had left, to help the others. She didn't have powers like them so she needed to rely on her own skills. She simply nodded to Cassie and took off on a run. She went around the guy fighting Enrique and made a dash for her bow. She knew she didn't have a lot in the way of arrows left, but she had enough that she should be able to make it count. All of her exploding arrows were gone, so her regular arrows would need to count. She pulled back and aimed.
"She-Hulk, get Rapidos out of there."
The plan was simple really, she should be able to get between plates. Once she did that though then she could weaken him enough and the three of them could take him out. Of course that was just the plan. Whether or not it worked was another matter. But they had to do something. The longer they waited though the worse it could get and the more likely it was back up would show up.

Enrique wasn't doing well, especially given his current position. He needed to get out of this before he ended up a mess on the sidewalk. He did feel better knowing that Roxy and Cassie were safe though. Keeping them alive was his main intention. Plus with the guy focusing on him it gave them a chance to get the upper hand. Of course he definitely wasn't the type to just surrender. He didn't give up, all he did was keep going. He watched Roxy go and get her bow and was about to try and get away. Namely because the last thing he wanted was for her to fire and cause some sort of weird malfunction crushing him.
He began to drive his fist into the guy's face repeatedly. After a few lucky shots he managed to drop down. Of course he only got a kick to the chest sending him rolling head over heels 10 feet before an air conditioner conveniently stopped his momentum. He tried his best to pull himself up before the guy's armor made a buzzing sound.
"That is indeed an odd noise."
The guy raised his hand and fired an energy blast at him. Enrique quickly moved to the side in a blur. Luckily he managed to avoid it but the building behind him now had a smoldering hole.
"Because of course it does that...."
He said with a sigh. He looked at the other two and nodded his head.
"He can't stop all three of us at once ladies, let's do this."
The guy began to look between all three of them, trying to see who would attack first.
