Tons of scars plus a rune tattoo or two for protection. One scar of real note, though, is the little bite mark on the middle of her neck, front and center. This mark came from when she first put on the Blood Gem Choker. The gem itself had literally bit her. This is thought to be the Gem's way of creating a bond with it's new wearer. Usually, however, this mark is covered up by the choker itself and sits right where the gem does.
Equipment and Weapons:
Blood Gem Choker: A special choker that she inherited from her mother. The 'blood gem' that is embedded in it came from her grandfather's chest. Creepy right? Well, the blood gem itself is a very special stone that has been known to grant a number of powers that have, in the past, been used to help not just her mother but her grandfather in their fight against monsters and other creatures thought to haunt the shadows in the night. So long as she is wearing the choker, Celeste is granted the following bonus abilities on top of the ones she has already inherited from her mother's side of the family:
Telekinesis - Something that barely needs much of a description. Telekinesis is the ability to psychicly lift objects. Also known as psychometry or psychokinesis. With telekinesis, she is able to lift things that are other wise far out of her reach. Using it, she is able to lift things nearing seven times her weight, much like she can normally. It's almost like a psychic projection of her own talents. Something else she should be able to do, though doesn't know how to just yet, is use that very same telekinesis to detonate certain explosives. This is something that, once upon a time, her grandfather could do. He even had specially made shells for his shot gun he could detonate with it. However, this is something she has yet to be able to do, never really trained in it, and therefore doesn't even know she can do it.
Astral Projection - The ability to leave your body and enter the astral plane. It's almost like becoming a spirit that is tethered to your physical form. It's useful when needing to get a layout of a place one needs to break into or to spy on someone for information. However, magical beings can still see her even if she doesn't want to be seen. Furthermore, when you astral project, you are leaving your body behind, meaning that, unless she has someone guarding her body, she is susceptible to any attack done to her when she is out of her body. One plus about astral projection is while projecting, she is able to commune with those on the astral plane, such as spirits. However, her body is open to possession when she is out of it. Tattoos only work so well to protect.
'Third Eye'/Aura Reading - The choker gives Celeste something known as an 'invisible third eye' in the middle of her forward. Through enough focus and concentration, she can open it, which allows her to read people's auras. While seemingly useless to some, she is able to use this aura reading to help her see and find people in the dark.
Enhanced Senses - The choker supernaturally enhances her senses to their heighest. From her sense of smell to her sense of hearing. Her sense of smell is almost animalistic, something that usually bugs her. It's annoying being able to identity people from their scent, but can be quite useful. She can hone her sense of hearing to hear even a pin fall with clarity. How far out she can hear, she was never truly sure, though she is sure it's at least 200 hundred yards. Her sense of sight can be honed to help her see in the dark, though it isn't nearly as efficient as using aura reading to do so.
Enhancement of natural gifts - While wearing the choker, her natural gifts are seemingly enhanced. How so will be described in the power section.
Genie's Lamp: This is a special little lamp that she actually has a special case for to carry around with her. The genie inside doesn't actually have a name, not that she actually knows of at least. He simply addresses him as the Genie,ot Djinn. The genie's lamp acts as a sort of warning system so that she can know when there is a supernatural crisis going on. The lamp itself will light up during such an occurrence. On top of that, so long as she says the word, the djinn will teleport her to the area of the crisis. However, it must be noted that one should be careful of what they say when touching the lamp. It is very sensitive to the words 'i wish'. Though it will rarely ever grant such wishes, it had been known to twist the wish to create a bit of trouble. Or just suck the person into the lamp itself. Neither of which is ever much fun to deal with.
Adam: While Adam is not really a piece of equipment or even a pet, he is worth mentioning. Many people know of 'Frankenstein's Monster'. Essentially, this is what Adam is. He has been in the Bloodstone's employ for quite some time. He is kind of like a butler of sorts, always good for advice and always there to help when need be. Adam has been there, even after her parents seemingly vanished, and took care of her, teaching her how to use the Blood Gem, the Genie's lamp, and an assortment of other things. Whenever she's feeling low or needs some advice, he is always willing to lend an ear.
Special Guitar Case: Something that she found in her mother's closet, this guitar case has a false bottom in it to hold her pair of uzis and her rifle. It's almost like a less awesome version of the guitar case depictied in Desperado. She does have an actual guitar she carries in it to. Everyone needs a hobby after all.
Uzis: Nothing really special, just a pair of uzis she carries in her guitar case. They are one of her many babies and she has even named them, like she has all of her weapons. In honor of one of her favorite video games, they are named Dante and Virgil.
Rifle: A rifle she likes to call Boomer, it is also carried in the bottom of her guitar case. This rifle is a semi-automatic and she has a regular scope and a thermal scope for it so she can use it well at long range.
Sawed-Off Shotgun: A twelve gauge shotgun that she found in her basement along with some of her grandfather's other things. Adam has told her that it holds special importance to her grandfather. He has told her some stories but she hopes to someday have her own stories regarding the marvelous weapon. Because of it's great importance to her grandfather, she's named it after him, calling the gun Ulysses.
.45 Caliber Pistols: A pair of .45 caliber pistols affectionately named Ebony and Ivory again after a treasured childhood memory of playing the game Devil May Cry. The pistols aren't anything really special, though she does have some silver filled bullets for it when she is dealing with certain vampires and werewolves.
Stainless Steel Bowie Knife: Yet another thing she found in the basement with some of her grandfather's old weapons, she named the knife David as a joke. Get it? A Bowie knife named David? She thought it was funny.
Swords: Celeste has been trained to use swords and tends to even carry a longsword on her back for those hack and slash sort of situations. Another of tje things she had found in her grandfather's weapon stash. She's named this weapon Sangue, the french word for Blood. Mainly because she is pretty sure it will always cut her enemies when she uses it.
Enchanted Whip: This is probably the only weapon she has from her actual father. It's a whip he says has been in his family for generations. Celeste herself isn't too surr how true that is though it had always reminded her of yet another game she used to play as a child: Castlevania. She often wonders if the games might be based off of her father's side of the family. But whether it is or not, she has named the whip after a character in the games: Trevor. She has found that the silver tipped whip is quite useful against any number of supernatural baddies and the enchantment on it makes it practically invulnerable and unable to break. She is known to wear this either around her waist as a belt of sorts or right at her side for easy access.
Explosives: Celeste is an explosion fanatic. She loves making things go boom and is constantly making new explosives to help her with any number of mystical occurrences. Her favorite was an explosion that had a bottled sunlight enchantment on it. That had done a bit of good against a coven of vampires she had once encountered.
Holy Water Flasks: Yes, she carries around flasks of holy water in her Flak jacket. Some of them are held in glass orbs she can break for when she is in a bit of a fix, almost like a holy water bomb. She also has specially made silver flasks with her initials engraved into it along with her family crest.
Silver Tipped Stakes: Wooden stakes made of usually white oak, they have been dipped in molten silver so that the tips would be, well, coated in silver. Other than that, they really aren't that special. Though they are quite useful against vampires and werewolves as well as other creatures allergic to silver. She has one she favors the most, named Sparkles. And yes, it has it's name actually engraved into the side of it.
Whatever's Close: Honestly, when she doesn't have any other weapons at hand, she is known to just grab whatever she can and use it as a weapon. She has quite a few stories about using pool sticks and broken table legs as stabby weapons.
Ulysses Flak Jacket: One of her favorite finds that she uses on a daily basis that had once belonged to her grandfather. It's a flak jacket with a ton of pockets she uses to hold extra bullets, weapons she doesn't keep in her guitar case, stakes, and a variety of other things. Made of leather, it is something that she is often found wearing.
Bloodstone Mansion: I know usually one should not list their own home as apart of equipment, but the Bloodstone Mansion in Boston should definitely make this list. Within it's walls is an array if ancient artifacts, bones, paintings, and books. It houses a library full of books about monsters, rituals, spells, and a few of her favorite books. The basement is quite special. Hidden behind a large portrait of Ulysses Bloodstone is a stairway that leads down into an area that houses some of the stranger artifacts, from mummies to tomes to things best left locked up, as well as her stash of weapons. Bloodstone Mansion is a font of supernatural knowledge and, quite honestly, might as well be turned into a museum of the supernatural world. Not that Celeste would ever let that happen, though.
Powers:
The following is a note on her powers: It is thought that they come from both the enhancements her own mother had as well as some of the power bestowed from the Blood Gem, as Elsa rarely removed it and it was worn during the time of conception. She does not need to be wearing the Blood Gem Choker for these gifts, though it does help them. The enhancements from the gem will be written in red font to help semi-separate them out.
Superhuman Strength: Her strength is by far much higher than that of any normal human beings. She is able to lift between three and four times her own weight, depending on how much she is exerting herself. While wearing the Blood Gem, her strength is practically doubled, able to lift anywhere near seven times her own weight. For those wondering, that is approximately 950 pounds, give or take.
Superhuman Speed: Able to run at very high speeds for a human, she has been known to top out at about forty miles an hour. Not so fast as one would think but considering most people barely top out at twenty five, it's something. While wearing her choker, it is actually unknown just how fast she might truly be able to go if she pushed herself. Given that knowledge, she has seemingly topped out somewhere near sixty to seventy miles per hour, though she isn't one to really run much if she is to be honest.
Superhuman Durability: The Bloodstone's have always been very durable people. Celeste is no different. She is able to endure a lot of punishment. I mean a lot. Beatings are practically nothing to her. A stab wound here, a bullet wound there. It's really nothing. The Blood Gem has been known to make it's wearers practically invulnerable to supernatural attacks and even things such as bomb blasts. But, as stated, this is only near invulnerability and not true invulnerability. She will still slowly wear down as a fight keeps going, just at speeds far, far slower than the average human.
Superhuman Endurance (Stamina): As well as enduring punishment, The Bloodstone's have been known for their ability to just keep on going far beyond normal human expectations. She can keep going for hours, sometimes even a day or three when she is well rested. And she has been known to do as such, to keep on going. It's very helpful when she is feeling she really needs a good training session or in a fight with someone or thing that is just far beyond powerful. While wearing the Blood Gem, it has been seen that the Bloodstone's can go for days without tiring much. Even so, they become almost self sustaining, not needing food or water or even air. However, it isn't something recommended and, well, Celeste likes food too much to ever give it up, even when she doesn't need it.
Regenerative Healing: Celeste has a nifty little regenerative healing factor that allows her to heal far faster than any normal human should be. Smaller wounds can take as little as minutes. The more extensive the damage, the longer it takes and, occasionally, when super severe, she has been known to slip into a self-induced coma or hibernative state. Were she to lose a limb or an appendage, this will most definitely happen, often for weeks, even a month could go by depending on how severe. Which, in retrospect, is far faster than her grandfather, who had once fallen into a ten year hibernation to regrow a limb. Something nifty about this little gift is that it makes her immune to disease and even certain poisons and toxins. With the Blood Gem, however, she is able to heal much faster than without it. Wounds that could take a day or two to heal take mere hours instead, though they tend to leave scars. And, unfortunately, the more severe, the more likely her body will try to initiate the regen coma state, something she has to focus on and force not to happen when severely injured until she gets somewhere safe.
'Poisonous' Blood: Now this does not mean her blood is truly poisonous, like it implies. Because, to normal, every day people, it's harmless. There are special chemicals in her blood making it toxic for things such as vampires to injest. It can make them sick, weaken them. The more ingested, the more deadly. However, the burning sensation it gives a vampire when ingested tends to stop them from taking too terribly much.
Extended Longevity: Something that had actually been activated when she first put on the choker, while not immortal, she is going to live a very, very long life. How long, no one is entirely sure, but if she survives the life of a hunter, it could end up being centuries, lifetimes. Her aging has already begun to slow to a near stop. It's likely she will look how she does now until the day she dies.
Magic: What she doesn't know is that her real father had a real talent for dabbling in magics of many kinds. What Celeste has always assumed was just a talent she picked up from reading through so many mystical texts and tomes and practicing is also a talent that comes from heritage. However, due to a lack of training, she has no real magical aptitude, aside from the books she has read and what she has taught herself.
Skills:
Marksmanship: Being that she was trained with how to use guns since she was young, a mastery in marksmanship isn't too hard to understand. She is constantly practicing, even has her own shooting range set up in the back. A good bit of her free time is spent on it to keep her skills homed. She doesn't just use it for her guns, though. She has excellent marksmanship with throughing knives, stakes, her glass 'holy water bombs', darts, bows and arrows, even cards. However arrows were never her style so you'll rarely see her utilising one.
Swordsmanship and Knife fighting: What had started off as fencing as a kid evolved into the knowledge of how to use both knives and swords in battle. She tends to practice this with Adam now more than anyone else to keep her skills up. After all, if she does too much damage to Adam, all she has to do is sew him back up. While her skills with a blade aren't quite at the same level as her marksmanship, she is constantly pushing to get better with them. After all, she needs to be well versed in the use of all her weapons, or so she likes tk believe.
Mastery with a Whip: Something she used to do with her father, she knows how to use a whip with expert precision. She can crack it mere centimeters in front of someone's face without actually touching them with it. She can use it to wrap around someone's waist or neck to pull them to her or choke them if need be. She's been taught use the whip as if it were an extension of herself.
Weapon Maintenance and Creation: With all of the guns and other such weapons that she has stashed away and that she uses, Celeste has indepth knowledge of how to care for, clean, and even repair every piece of weaponry in her arsenal. On top of that, she also knows how to make things for them, namely a variety of different bullets to be used in special circumstances from silver bullets to hollow tips with either her blood or holy water in them.
Knowledge of the Occult: Being someone who was raised to hunt the things that go bump in the night, Celeste has an indepth knowledge of the occult, including different mystical artifacts, texts, and other such things. This has also given her a bit of insight on the magical world.
Knowledge of Runes: Something she had actually taken up studying on her own. Runes, for example, are magical symbols. Anyone with half of a brain could technically use them if they really wanted to. Celeste finds that they are especially helpful in exorcisms.
Multilingual: Celeste was taught a couple of different languages growing up. The ones she knows fluently are english, latin, french, spanish, and greek, though she is always trying to learn a new language. They come quite in handy.
Demonology: Coming from a family of monster hunters, one is inevitably going to run into a few demons. She has been prepared for such occurrences and has a bit of knowledge on various demons, their anatomical make up, and how to exorcise or terminate them if need be.
Monsterology: She isn't quite sure what the proper namr for this would be, Cel has always just called it 'Monsterology' as it is the study of monsters. She has an indepth knowledge of various folklores concerning a number of different monsters, what their weaknesses are, and how to kill them. She wouldn't be much of a monster hunter if she didn't know such things.
Survivalist: She has neen trained as a survivalist and, as such, knows how to hunt for her own food, make shelters in the wild, and all around how to care for herself when she is trapped in the wilderness.
Magical Insight/Spellwork: While not naturally gifted with magic (or so she had always believed), with the right preparations, she has been known to do some spellwork. However this magical insight of hers is often ritualistic and no where near as powerful as someone trained in spellwork. She has quite a bit of understanding as to how magic works and likes studying magical texts to get a better understanding of it.
Parkour Extraordinaire: Parkour, also known as free running, is something that she picked up more so as a hobby and as a training tactic than anything else. And she is very good at it. It helps keep herself in shape as well as use her surroundings to her advantage. Not to mention, it's just plain fun.
Chemistry: Something that seems so basic and possibly even odd for someone who specialises in the hunting of monsters to have, chemistry is actually quite useful. It's something she learned she needed to understand in order to execute some of the rituals she has read about. Also, chemistry is a necessity in bomb creation, something she has far too much fun with. Not to mention, there are a few books on potions and magical tonics that chemistry is quite helpful with.
Medical Knowledge: While she doesn't necessarily need medical knowledge, she has learned that knowing how to sanitize, caulderize, and stitch wounds up has been quite helpful to make her wounds heal up better and faster. Not to mention, it's good to know when she needs to work with other people.
Exorcism Knowledge: Simply put, she has a good understanding of different exorcism methods for a variety of beasts that can come in quite handy when dealing with malicious spirits and the occasional demon.
Hand-to-Hand Combat: She doesn't necessarily have a mastery in any one combat method though, when she fights, she tends to utilise something between what is considered MMA and street fighting. Names had never really been given to the techniques she learned, though some come from 'arts' such as tai kwon do and tai chi.She finds it much easier for her to have her own fighting style and it hasn't hurt her yet to use. Well, not too badly that is.
Flexibility: Highly flexible, she is almost at contortionist levels of it. She is very double jointed as well and it has helped her in a nunber of cases, mainly to fit into places she probably shouldn't be able to almost comfortably.
Gymnast: On top of fighting and flexibility, as a way to help her with fighting, she used to practice gymnastics. Were she to ever want to ditch her monster hunting life, she could probably make a good living off of the money she could make as a gymnast. However, that's likely to never happen and she quite likes using it in a fight anyway. Makes things easier.
Musicality: While not necessarily a useful skill in a fight, she is very musical and singing, as well as playing guitar, are hobbies of hers.
Adaptibility: She is highly adaptable in battle, often times using the objects she finds in her surroundings as weapons.
High Pain Tolerance: She is a very high pain tolerance, partly to her durability and partly to her constant fighting. She doesn't let pain bother her anymore, she knows she will be feeling a lot more of it in the days to come.
Weaknesses:
1) Human (Well Technically): While she might have all sorts of neat power ups, including durability, that doesn't mean she cannot be killed. Especially if she isn't wearing her Blood Gem Choker. After all, the tried and true method of decapitation would most definitely work.
2) Monster Magnet: She doesn't know whether she is just super unlucky or if the Gem she wears attracts them, Celeste seems to be a monster magnet. Which can really suck when she's just trying to catch a movie or go on a date. It's kind of something that has a bit of a dampener on the mood. And while it might be helpful for her to do her job, it is a big nuisance.
3) Dangerous Curiosity: She has a very curious nature and while some think this might be normal, hers has always caused her trouble. You see, she doesn't tend to get curious about things of a more magical nature. And her curiosity never gets her into anything but trouble. Because, of course, she can never become curious when she's armed and prepared. No, that pesky little curiosity always rears it's head when she's left her things at home or in a hotel room. It's made her spring a trap or two to catch her in the past and, likelihood is, it'll happen again. It always does.
4) Spellwork: Just because she knows how to cast a spell or two doesn't mean they always do what they are meant to do. As stated, she isn't a natural Homo Magi, not that she knows of, and not only do her spells tend to need to be ritualistic, they don't always have the right effect. Hell, half the time they backfire. But she feels if a spell is really something she needs to use, then it's worth the risk.
5) Shoot First Attitude: She has a very aggressive attitude towards monsters. Call her a racist because you wouldn't be wrong. She seems to believe that anything deemed a monster is genetically evil and tends to shoot first, ask questions later.
6) Blood Gem Choker: The Blood Gem is, in truth, where all of her power comes from. Well she might be genetically imbued with some of it's power, it is still a vital part of her and when people other than herself remove the choker, it seems to hurt her. It's never been out of her possession since her mother passed it on to her and she doesn't quite want to see what could happen if someone stole it. Being that it is so connected to her, were someone with powerful magic to take it, they could easily use that connection to control her.
7) Out-of-body Experiences: With the help of the Blood Gem Choker, she is able to astral project. However, this leaves her body open to attack and vulnerable to possession of any kind. Were a demon or spirit to be able to get to it, they could take it, leaving her spirit helplessly detached and drifting until she can regain control or someone else exorcises whatever entity took over. Furthermore, if someone removed her choker while in this state, the tether between her and her body would break and it would make finding it and returning into it rather difficult.
8) Weapon Fetish: Now it might sound like a strange weakness to have but it shouldn't come to a surprise that she has a weapon fetish, not with all of her artillery. However, this fetish makes her have a very protective attitude towards her weapons, and she tends to get defensive over them like one might get defensive of a pet or child. As such, as crazy as it sounds, it is actually quite possible to use her own weapons as bait or to set her up. Because the second even one of them goes missing, she's ready to fight to get it back. Don't ask why, I'm not sure she even understands.
9) Mannequins: Another silly little thing but she has a crippling fear of mannequins. It all traces back to when she was a child. A spirit her mother had hunted down used to like possessing creepy dolls and mannequins and liked to follow her around and freak her out. To the point that she used to have nightmares that the mannequins might try to kill her or turn her into a mannequin themselves. She's had a phobia ever since.
10) Regen Coma: Like with out of body experiences when she slips into one of her regen comas, she leaves her body open and vulnerable to attack. However, it doesn't leave her as open to possesion. Doesn't mean it can't still happen in this state.

THE REST
Personality:
Sassy and Sarcastic - Something that Adam has always said she must get from her mother is the sass that seems to just fuel her entire being. It's rare that you'll get a response out of her that isn't full of sass and snark. She tends to come off as rude because of it, even if she doesn't mean to be. She is a firm believer that there is never a situation in the world that sarcasm isn't necessary in. It's just how she is, and it's something she honestly believes is hereditary. She is known to use sarcasm to try and belittle others. Or as a response to stupid comments and questions. Or stupid people in general. And let's face it: there are a lot of stupid people out there. Looks like it's up to Miss Belmont here to clean up the streets of the idiots, one sarcastic comment at a time.
Monsterist - Some people in the world are racist against things like, say, mutants or people's skin tone. Not Celeste. No, she is a different kind of racists. Something she has come to call 'monsterist'. Yes, she is seemingly racist against monsters. She tends to stereotype most of them and, for the most part, believes they are all inherently evil, with very few exceptions (like Adam and Genie). She doesn't think that most monsters deserve the chance at a real life. They are all meant to meet their end at the point end of her stake. Or with a bullet, whichever is more convenient at the time.
Quick Witted - Celeste is quick on her feet and her wits are sharp. She has always been taught to be perceptive and that planning ahead is never really something anyone can do. After all, with so many possible variables, all one can really do is prepare for the worse. So rather than always planning ahead in what she does, she has grown accustom to trusting those wits and improvising in a fight. Sure, she may try to plan a little bit but, honestly, planning everything is an impossibility and she knows that fact all to well.
Curious - One thing that, quite frankly, has become something of a danger for the young hunter is an insatiable curiosity. She was warned as a girl the troubles being too curious can bring. And yet, all of her life she had the same sort of curiosity her mother had at that age. While this curiosity has helped her learn quite a bit and even meet a few people she probably never would have, her curiosity makes her rather reckless. If something sparks her curiosity, she is known to run into it head on, even if she is unarmed. She likes learning new things, something that this curiosity has always helped her with. But being a hunter, curiosity has always been a deadly trait to have. Who knows when that curiosity will land her into a trap that she can't get herself out of.
Feisty - Celeste has always had a sort of fire inside of her that no one can put out. She's got an attitude like her mother's and she isn't afraid to show it. Confidence is key, or so she believes, and her confidence in everything she does makes her someone who believes she deserves the utmost respect. She's not afraid to speak her mind, especially when people are rude and, even when she doesn't mean to, she usually has a bit of attitude or snootiness in her voice.
Fighter - Not that she is ever truly looking for a fight, she does have a fighters mentality. She isn't the type to simply backdown from anything. If she is challenged, or she even feels challenged, she tenses and gets herself ready for attack. She isn't afraid of much, what does scare her is quite silly and she would rather not speak of it. But fearlessness is a gift a warrior must have, as showing fear in battle shows the enemy a person's weakness. And while fearlessness and participating in pointless fights is reckless, it is the mindset she has had for years.
Stubborn and Hard Headed - Cel is a stubborn sort of girl, once her mind is made up, she tends to follow through with her actions. It's hard to dissuade her from, well, anything. Especially if she thinks it will help her find out just what happened to her parents. She is also pretty hard headed and closed minded. She sticks to her beliefs and she isn't very easy to convince things of if she didn't already believe them unless there is fact to back them.up or they came from a book.
Pun Abuser - While it probably doesn't need to be mentioned, Celeste has always been known to abuse puns of all natures, especially those involving monsters. She finds that puns and random such references add a bit of humor and flair to a taunt or joke. And you can easily guess who she picked this up from. Of course, such things can't possibly be truly hereditary, Adam has always been convinced bad puns runs in the Bloodstone bloodline.
History:
Elsa Bloodstone wasn't necessarily known for sleeping around or having things such as one night stands but every woman has their moments of weakness. And while a bit of alcohol had helped the night she met John Constantine, it was a night that would leave her with a little more than just a hangover. She wasn't sure what it had been about the brit. Maybe it was the way he composed himself, the way he spoke, or that seemingly irresistible charm but one thing had lead to another back in London that would change her life.
It was mere weeks after her encounter with John Constantine that she met a fellow in her line of work, a man by the name of Alexander Belmont. It was a weird sort of start to their... partnership so to speak. It was accidental at first, it almost seemed as fate was throwing them together. And, as most stories go, an unusual love started to blossom within the few months to follow. However, not only did love blossom but her belly also started to grow. There was no doubt in her mind that it belonged to the charmer in London. But Alexander was an understanding person and while he didn't quite understand the quickness in wish his emotions grew for her, some part of him felt the need to keep her safe.
Growing up, Celeste had been raised to believe that Alexander was her father, never to know of that night way back when. Celeste had been about four when Alex and Elsa finally married. Elsa refused to give up her last name so, rather, she hyphonated it. There was no shame in being a Belmont. Half of her time was often spent up in Boston, where Bloodstone Mansion was located. It's vast walls held so much wonder for the little girl and she was often found running through them, exploring it's halls. In her head, she would imagine great things, grand adventures, and those halls rarely actually appeared as the halls they were in her mind.
The other half of her time was spent at what had once been her mother's childhood home, back in London. Elsa had thought it necessary to show her both worlds and being that she was focusing on raising her daughter than fighting vampires and werewolves and other such creatures, the scenery changes always brought about a bit of comfort. And to Celeste? They seemed almost magical, how the scenery would change. She admired the rustic feel of England itself, the sight of Big Ben, for example. She liked to make up tales of the angels that might reside up in it, imagine just what they might do up there, watching over the city.
Growing up, Celeste had been homeschooled. And, unlike Elsa, she was brought up to be a hunter. When she was old enough, both parents started teaching her not just that in which most kids learned in school but also how to fight, the basics of different weapons and how to use them, and most importantly, about the things that go bump in the night. Tales and myths of monsters were far more than just that. The were instilled in fact, and they were all around them, she just needed to open her eyes for what they actually were and see them.
She was about thrirteen when The Battle took place. At the time, they had been in their London home. Neither Elsa nor Alexander took part in it, nor did they really feel the need to. Let the so called heroes do their jobs while they did theirs. It helped that they had a little girl to care for. But, as Celeste's training slowly started getting a bit more rigorous, Elsa and Alexander realized they could start doing that in which they had been doing all their lives. Age be damned.
It was about two years later, when Celeste was fifteen, that her parents went missing. They had gone out on a hunt, it was supposed to be easy, just some vampires. The girl had been left in Boston, where Adam watched after her. Adam was probably the only 'monster' that Celeste trusted. She grew up arouns him. He was both the house help and a friend and, when her parents didn't come back, he became her only family. She grew up quick after that. She would train by herself, go through the library in her mansion and read up on everything and anything she could. And, during the down times, when she actually relaxed, she had found a love for video games. She felt that they helped her hand-eye coordination. But even as she killed monsters in games or cut apart straw dummies to get better, it wasn't the same. And somewhere out their, her mother and father could be laying dead in a ditch or being held hostage, though the later was unlikely.
At the age of eighteen, Adam gave Celeste a gift. It was a choker, one she remembered seeing her mother used to wear when she was younger. She hadn't seen it in years, honestly. The happiness she felt in getting it onlt rivaled the confusion she felt when she put it on and it bit her. The gem in the choker she would later learn was called the Blood Gem. Adam taught her as much as he could of it and also told Celeste that Elsa had been the same age when she first got the choker. It helped her feel a bit more connected to her mother.
While she was learning to control the gifts that the choker bestowed her with, she started to go out more and more. She had this power, this training, and she needed to use it. She would hunt every last mosterous cretin down and kill them until she found her parents, whether they be alive or dead. Two years she's been hunting, two years she's been putting her training to good use. Two years. And yet she feels she is only getting farther amd farther away from the truth. No matter, someone needs to go out there and protect the people, destroy the monstrous threat. And who better than a Bloodstone?

Celeste was so not pleased with what she was being forced to do for this job. Undercover work was never her forte, much rather preferring the tried and true method of shoot 'em dead. But sometimes a job needed a bit more tact than that. There had been rumors circulating the supernatural underground about a coven of vampires funding and running this little 'gentlemen's club'. And the way they've been going through dancers lately only seemed to make it all the more suspicious to the monstet hunter. But she couldn't just run in here all willy nilly and shoot up the place. While she might not care too much about innocents getting hurt, she also didn't like the idea of it much. Sure, what's one sacrifice when it saves the lives of hundreds, maybe even thousands of people in the long run? But after that, things start getting a tad more hectic.
But that was besides the point. It was these rumors that had the hunter here, getting herself ready backstage. She had her real hair pulled back tight and under a sort of net so that the auburn red wig would fit over top of it nice and snug. She bad done a bit of a hair whipping test to make sure that it would stay on just fine. Her outfit, she thought, looked ridiculous. At least to her. However, fellow 'dancers' seemed to think she looked hot as hell. She wore a slutty looking little red riding hood outfit, complete with caped hood and heels. Her lips were cherry red, a rosey pink blush to her cheeks.
She wasn't looking forward to having to do any stripping on stage. Not because she wasn't comfortable with her body. No, it was because she didn't like being so exposed. Now, when i say exposed, i don't mean she doesn't like showing off her natural assets. No, what i mean is she doesn't like not having any form of real weapon on her. She hated not having something on her person, even if it was a small knife tucked into her boot. But no, everythimg was too exposed on her body. It would do her no good for this little mission. She wondered how she would fair against an entire coven without a real weapon. There was likely to be a lot of broken tables and chairs.
Bloodstone pushed the thought out of her mind as she went to do touch ups on her make up. "This is bloody ridiculous," she muttered, her english accent barely hidden. From the stage, she heard the first act finishing up. That meant she was next. Boy did she hate this. She put the make up away so she could lightly touch the blood gem around her throat. "Mum, if you're dead and you're watching me from wherever your soul rests, just remember. Your daughter became a stripper. Hope you're proud." Of course, she was just making a joke, something to lighten her mood, and it worked. For the moment at least.
She took a deep breathe as she heard them call out her introduction. 'Little Red' they were calling her. "Fitting," she snorted as she put the red hooded cape on, making sure the hood came down and partially covered her eyes. One last deep breathe and she started to head out to the stage. Her music started to play and she stared out into her audience, making her movements slow and seductive as she moved closer to the edge of the stage. This was it, the end of the line, point of no return. Man she hoped she wouldn't blow it as a stripper.
