Full Name:Jamie Lillian Andrews
Codename: Aegis
Aliases/Nicknames: Princess (if you want to get sucker punched), Jay-Jay, Smartass
Birthplace: Dayton, Ohio
Hometown/Base of operations: Knowhere, mobile
Species: enhanced human
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Alignment: Hero
Affiliation: Guardians of the Galaxy
PHYSICAL
Height: 5 ft 7
Weight: 135
Hair Color/style: Blonde
Eye Color: Brown
Anything Else: Various scars from training, one long scar on her back from a lab accident
Equipment and Weapons:
Costume: Jamie wears a water and fire retardant costume, which is made of kevlar, nomex and light weight titanium. The costume also offers a medium level of resistance to electric shocks and force impacts i.e., falls from 30 meters height and the suit cannot be pierced by normal conventional sharp edged materials like sharp wood, glass, iron, copper and aluminum. The suit also gives some resistance to high temperatures and can help her survive the airlessness of space with the activated helmet.
Laser pistols: “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side” is a quote she takes to heart, and she has one pistol on each leg courtesy of Rocket. They have two modes, stun and kill, and she always likes to say “set phasers to stun” when she flips the switch.
Motorcycle: Jamie's most prized possession, her rebuilt Chieftain Dark Horse. With help from Charlie, a few aftermarket add ons made the bike more than what it seemed. It has a biometric lock so it will only start for Jamie or anyone she's programmed in. It also has hover and flight capabilities and storage space for longer journeys.
Powers:
Precognition: This is activated by adrenaline in the midst of combat, she can constantly see 3-5 seconds into the future, knowing what moves her opponent will make even before they do. It helps that she can read body language to interpret when and where the next attack will come from in combination with her precognition.
Enhanced agility: Jamie can go from one motion to another effortlessly. She can effectively dodge attacks, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort. Her balance, flexibility, dexterity and overall coordination are above the physical limits of a peak human athlete. She can leap 54 yards with a running start and jump about 10 feet in the air flat footed.
Enhanced Human Durability: Jamie ea can withstand great impacts such as falling from several stories, sky diving into the water from a height of 200 feet or being struck by an opponent with preternatural strength, that would severely injure or kill a normal human with little discomfort. She can also withstand the impact of a car going 45 mph and survive it with little harm other than a sore body.
Enhanced Stamina: She can live off of 2 or 3 hours of sleep and can go for days without needed any extended periods of rest. If she goes full out, and holds nothing back she can last for a few hours before showing any signs of slowing down.
Enhanced Reflexes: In combination with her precognition, Jamie can dodge gunfire, catch flies in mid-air, dodge and maneuver around complex attacks, catch falling objects, block detriments and react instantaneously to what others take more time to react to.
Enhanced Speed: While technically at super human levels, her speed isn't anywhere near someone like the Flash or Quicksilver. At a dead run she can run at 45 mph.
Armor: Jamie's psionic exoskeleton body armor acts as an extension of (although can be much larger than) her own body, which enhances her strength level and resistance to injury. While using her armor, Jamie has the ability to hurl Wyatt and even assisted Charlie in restraining a small ship capable of breaking orbit from lifting off. To some extent, she can shape her armor, such as her ability to form swords for her armor to wield or a helmet like Charlie's. In instances of extreme duress, Jamie is also able to expand her armor, greatly strengthening and increasing its size and shape around her, though her own body remains the same at its center. Her armor is generally impervious to most damage (as long as she can maintain it), but Her armor is vulnerable to lasers, which are able to pass through it and harm her. This is because her armor still has to let light through. It's mentally taxing on her to use it for hours at a time being as she's not a natural born psionic and is still learning how to use her new powers on top of her old ones.
Skills:
Unarmed combat: Jamie is a skilled martial arts expert, having trained under her mother from a young age with enhanced agility, speed, strength and endurance. Her mother trained her in Bokator and Pradel Serey(Martial arts native to Cambodia, Bokator a nearly extinct art and Pradel Serey a local equivalent to Muay Thai), but she expanded outward to Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, and Aikido.
Weapons Master: She prefers the weight of cold steel in her hand though space makes that rather ineffective. It seems to matter little what weapon you give her as chances seem to be that she can use it. Rocket Raccoon has given her a wide appreciation for a good firearm at her side of course.
Stealth: Jamie has been trained by her mother from a very young age in the art of stealth.
Genius level intellect: Like her brother, she is very smart. While he specializes in chemistry, she holds doctorates in computer science and engineering. She's very good at improvising with scrap electronics lying around. Given full reign over quality equipment, she could conceivably build the world's fastest super computer.
Hacker: If given a computer and some time, she can get in past almost any security system or ferret out needed information.
Multilingual: Jamie is fluent in Cambodian, English and American Sign Language and Interlac. She's picked up conversational Kree and Thanagarian
Weaknesses: (3 minimum)
1.) What's in the box?!: Jamie is claustrophobic.
2.) Temper, temper: It takes a bit to make Jamie truly angry, but once she is, it runs red hot and takes awhile to cool down.
3.)Missed it by that much: At a close enough range, Jamie's precognition becomes pretty useless. Even with her enhanced reflexes, if someone were able to get inside her guard or stay in close enough, they're too close for her to react effectively, Her precognition then becomes more of a detriment than a help. Someone who knows how her precognition works (like her brother Wyatt), knows that he can trip her up especially by projecting the wrong body language and/or trying several moves at once.
4.)You're only human: Jamie is still human. It may take more, but she can be killed. Shots to the head, a knife through the heart and other various mortal woundings would kill her.
5.)Family doesn't end with blood: Jamie is very protective of people she cares about and is fiercely loyal. She will do anything to protect them. It's the reason why she got her armor.
6.)Mental fatigue: Using the psionic armor is a drain on her as she has to stay concentrated to use it. She can't use it for longer periods of time without becoming exhausted. If she uses it too long, she will pass out.
FAMILY:
Mother: Rose Andrews (nee Wilson)
Father: Jay Andrews
Siblings: Wyatt Andrews, Dahlia Andrews
Children: none
Extended family:Slade "Deathstroke" Wilson (Grandfather). Joseph "Jericho" Wilson (Uncle). Grant "Ravager" Wilson (uncle. Deceased). Lillian "Sweet Lili" Worth (Grandmother. Deceased).
THE REST
Personality:
Jamie is much like her father in that she can be consumed by a project. She will let science get in the way of almost anything because her curiosity is never sated. She can spend days in her lab on Knowhere, forgetting to eat much or bathe to make sure her work is perfect. She can shift this focus to a person should someone catch her ire or attention. Usually you don't want this to happen as she will put all of her considerable intelligence into making your life a living hell if you've pissed her off. She also goes after what she wants with a driven single-mindedness and stubbornness that seems to run in the family. She's also usually got a sarcastic retort or comment on the tip of her tongue. It's become a defense mechanism she employs as a knee-jerk reaction to any complicated situation, something she's picked up from Quill and her mother. Of course her smart mouth does get her into more than her fair share of trouble. But it's nothing she can't fight her way out of. She can, of course, be serious when the need arises. But in the end of it all, she's loyal and tenacious and doesn't care about what most people think about her.
History:
To say that Rose Wilson never thought she'd every find herself in a relationship, let alone tied down is an understatement. However, when she was assigned to the Teen Titans by Sarge Steel, that is exactly what happened. It was there she met Jay, a kid with heroic aspirations. It started slowly, with her showing Jay how to defend himself. She had been bored and it whiled away the hours. But after awhile, he started to get under her skin and she started to care about him. Jay taking up residence in the tower, a place she called home, of course sped up everything.
Jamie was a little surprise to her parents, who, after a particularly hairy situation, had a rather life affirming reunion. Jay had been toying with the idea of proposing to Rose and the news had only sealed his decision. For Rose, all of this was scary. She wasn't even sure she wanted to be a mother, scared she would screw up horribly. But with time came experience and slowly, one foot in front of the other, Rose and Jay got the hang of it together.
The first sign that Rose got telling her she needed to train Jamie to control her enhanced abilities came when Wyatt was two years old. In a tantrum, Jamie had broken Wyatt's arm, which was fun for all explaining to the doctors. It was then and there Rose knew she had to train Jamie as her mother had trained her. She trained Jamie for years and when Jamie's meta-gene activated Rose trained her on how to use and control that too.
Of course, her life would never be that simple. With two teenagers and her youngest to take care of, life had given Rose some perspective on her reckless actions of her youth. So when Jay told her to evacuate the planet, she did. She knew fighting Darkseid and Dormammu, even Thanos was way above her paygrade. She packed up the kids and left, re-situating on Knowhere.
Jamie was more than happy to grow up surrounded by aliens and technology way beyond anything on Earth. She even had her own lab set up in the lower levels. It was anything a teenager could dream of. Well, it wasn't just her lab, her brother and father used it too, but they each had their own, distinct spaces. Out in the universe, she had access to a larger amount of technology to fiddle around with, as well as elements that made up the known universe. This is how she came upon cosmic radiation. Her and Wyatt were both fascinated by it, knowing what it could do to people, to humans. They had started to experiment with it when they argued over how to proceed. They hadn't been paying as close attention to the machine they were monitoring outputs as they should have been and it overloaded. Jamie had a momentary precognitive flash of the explosion before it happened and she grabbed Wyatt, trying to shield him with her body. She was the oldest, she felt it was her duty to protect her little brother.
When they finally got into the lab, all they found was Jamie, buried under rubble. They continued to search for Wyatt while Jamie lay in a coma. A few days later, she woke up and Wyatt came flying out of her eyes. They had been arguing the the whole time, and the only reason the coma lasted so long was because they were vying for control. Within the next few days, her newfound powers began to appear and she had some growing pains to work through. But she had a whole team of people to work through them with; the Guardians of the Galaxy. She's been running around with them for the last few years, finally deciding to wander home and see what had become of Earth after they had been evacuated.

Sample RP: The ground quaked under her feet as she wove her way through the trees, praying she didn’t trip over something hidden in the underbrush as she got smacked in the face by stray branches and massive leaves. She didn’t dare look back. Looking back was a sure way to die. She kept running forward as the massive beast bellowed behind her, frustrated it hadn’t caught it’s prey. It rattled her teeth in her head, the bass of it was so deep.
“CHARLIE!” Jamie shouted, her panicked voice drawing out the last syllable. On a good day she could keep up with a car on an expressway. But that was on flat open ground. She had to pick and choose where to put her feet in this massive jungle, slowing her down considerably. The T.rex behind her had no such problems, it’s massive bulk clearing it’s own path. Yeah, that’s right, a T.rex. Jamie was running for her life from a damn Tyrannosaur. The only thing keeping her alive was her wits. Oh and her power. She could see things just before they happened, like a massive set of jaws coming down to crush her in half. Or a giant head sweeping aside trees, shrubs and all manner of flora trying to knock her over. It only came in handy if she knew how to react. Mostly she just screamed and tried to run in the opposite direction, or make a quick directional adjustment and keep moving forward.
“Charlie!!! Where the f*ck are you?! I am not used to out running things that have six metric tons on me!!!!”
“I’m coming, princess. Trying to spot you from the air is kinda hard.” Charlie’s voice buzzed in her ear.
“It’s not hard to spot the fucking tyrannosaur behind me!!!” she snarled. Jamie thought back to how she’d ended up here. It had sounded like a good idea at the time. A planet, full of dinosaurs, from every period in the mesozoic era, like someone had just plucked them from history and put them here, their own private Jurassic Park. Each continent had been split up into eras, Triassic, Jurrasic, Cretaceous. And she wanted to check out the Cretaceous, because come on, what person doesn’t want to see a living breathing T.rex? The childlike sense of awe and the thirst to satisfy her scientific side had overridden any sort of caution she may have been thinking the moment Charlie had said dinosaurs. A planet full of them.
She mentally cursed her curiosity for getting her into this mess as she spotted a field up ahead in a break in the trees. If she could make it there, she could bolt, she could get more distance between her and the rex. Sure it was quick, but it had forward momentum. Turning on a dime was not something it could do easily. She just hoped she could make it there. The smell of the fetid meat rotting between it’s teeth was making her nauseous but on some level it pushed her to go faster, letting her know just how close it really was behind her. The clearing was fast approaching but she saw the danger coming before it hit. She dove forward and rolled onto her shoulder, springing back to her feet, vaguely aware of the snapping of the most powerful pair of jaws nature had ever created, had closed behind her, where she had been only moments before. But now she was out in the open and she took off. However, so did the rex. She cut left just as another bite came her way. The rex howled again angrily and chased after her. She ducked and cut right as it swung it’s giant head toward her.
“DOWN!” She didn’t think, she just obeyed. She knew better than to get in Charlie’s way when he gave an order. Jamie tossed herself to the ground as Charlie put on a spectacular light show, stopping the rex in it’s tracks. Jamie peeked up to see Charlie standing between her and the rex, hand aglow with the Nova Force ready at his disposal. The rex stared at him and roared. Charlie roared back. And then he punched the damn thing right in the nose. It rocked back, before falling over, the ground shuttering with the impact. Jamie got up, brushing herself off as she stood.
“Really? You roared at it?” She asked, exasperated.
“What? It seemed appropriate at the time.” He grinned at her.
“You are a jackass.” She looked over herself, noting the various cuts and abrasions that had gotten through her clothes.
“Yeah...but I’m your jackass.” Charlie walked back over to her, looking her over before pulling her into a hug. She took a deep breath before gripping him tightly.
“Whoa...ok...calm down the kung fu grip. You’re ok. No dino lunch. You’re fine.”
“I don’t feel fine.” she mumbled into his chest. He pulled back and grabbed her hands, holding them up for his inspection.
“Ten fingers...ten toes...head, shoulders, knees. Yep, all there.” He smiled at her before kissing her forehead.
“Next time, no splitting up.” Jamie sighed.
“You’re the one who wanted to observe the nest, princess.”
“Yeah that was before the branch I was on broke and made them aware of my presence. That whole ‘they can’t seen you if you stand still’ thing is total bullshit. How were the trikes?”
“Sooooooo awesome.” Another roar filled the air off in the direction Jamie had just come from. She looked up at Charlie with wide eyes just as the fallen rex began to stir. “Which I think you should totally see now. They won’t try and eat you, just run you through. You know, totally better.” He grinned and put his arm around her waist and took off for another part of the continent.
