Rapidos sat at the console looking over all the monitors. Some were the training room, and the rest were recorded news feeds of the Titans doing what they do. It was impressive, they were all doing their jobs and saving the day. However they were all having issues with team work. Sure some were doing moderately well working with others. Sebastian and Lydia dealing with some cultists in New York, Roxy and Marty doing an alien investigation of some sort, himself and Jor dealing with a bank robbery. Arthur had a tendency to keep to himself, only called when needed. Of course that was partially why he'd been recruited. He was the magical back up the Titans might occasionally need. He leaned back in his chair and put his feet up on the console. He grabbed his communicator and pressed the 'CALL ALL' button. It would summon anyone with a Titan communicator to the Tower.
He spun the chair around and in a blur was standing in the common room. He grabbed his actual cellphone and sent out a rapid speed text before giving himself a quick dose of his medicine. He looked out the big window and down into the bay. He was wearing just the pants of his costume and a black tank top. He knew they'd be arriving shortly. He'd even chosen past sundown so Sebastian could partake. He did always feel bad that he couldn't always join in. Sure he might not like or fully trust Sebastian, but he was useful. He had a solid knowledge of magic and the occult, plus Batman had nominated him. Of course he also knew that eventually he'd need to move on and name a replacement. Right now he was torn between Lydia and Marty. Both were extremely good and could be very capable team leaders.
He still wasn't sure about their newest partial member, Roxy. She was rude, brash and angry. However she also was pretty well talented and impressive. She had issues taking orders but she seemed close to Jor, somehow. He found it adorable how they flirted. Well actually how SHE flirted and he simply stood there calmly, trying to understand. Of course he was also worried she'd be a bad influence later on down the road, but he'd deal with that later. As the elevator doors dinged he turned to see who was the first to arrive.

It had been hours since Lydia had plugged in her head phones and picked up a pencil. She had several sticking out of her hair, which she had piled messily on the top of her head. She had since moved onto charcoal, pastels and grease paint to a rather erratic pop mix. The canvas she was working with had been moved several times to keep up with the light in the room.
She had smudges on her torn and beat up jeans and face, especially on her cheeks and the top of her nose, and her 'Wicked' t-shirt hung off one shoulder. Jumping a bit when the notice came through for the meeting, she didn't even bother changing and hadn't caught her reflection in the mirror to see the smudges on her face. She punched in her code for the teleport and was sent, atom by atom across the country.
She told herself there was a good reason she was here. She signed up for this team and she always came when called. There were just some days that were more inconvenient than others. Like right now. She hadn't been that productive in art in a very long time. She just threw herself at it and had a good few pieces started. She was almost finished wth that last one. But here she was, as she always would be, ready to do whatever needed to be done.
The elevator door opened and she stepped out, finding only Enrique there. "Huh, never thought I'd beat Walt anywhere. So, what's the skinny, Enrique? Major crisis needs averting? World ending? We run out of milk?"

"Hilarious, Lyd!"
Walt appeared near the open door, smiling, holding a bag containing a gallon of milk and fourteen boxes of his and Marty's favorite cookies. His smile remained as he glanced over at her. "I take it this meeting is in regards to this one's clear disregard for dress code. Good call, chief. I was waiting for somebody to say something. Honestly, it's a wonder we get any respect around here. People are starting to talk, saying that Liberal Arts isn't a real superpower. I try to tell them! I say, 'Ms. Danvers is the one real hero in this city!', but not everyone listens, y'know..." Realizing that he was starting to ramble, Walt tapered off. He was really quite fond of Lydia, and hadn't wished to offend her- not that his intentions ever seemed to matter once he started talking. "Marty should be here soon," he added lamely, before sinking into the nearest chair.

It was the middle of movie (okay, musical) night in the Kaplan house. Cassie had realised his film selection and left within about thirty seconds, and his grandparents knew better than to stick around for any singing. Thus Gabriel was sitting alone on the sofa when the communicator went off. He was perhaps a little delayed by waiting for the end of the song, only a chorus later, before he hit pause on the remote. Gabriel pulled out the device from his trouser pocket and took a quick look. It was Teen Titan’s stuff.
Gabe was pretty excited with just that text, but there was no way he would admit that to the rest of the team. Given he was their youngest member, it would be plain stupid to remind them. Honestly, Gabriel suspected he had only made his way onto the team because his fathers had both been founding members of the Young Avengers, given his severe lack of age or experience. Either that or whoever recruited Young Avengers had thought that it was perhaps better to have the future Demiurge on their side, near people who at least had a slim chance of being able to restrain him.
This was all the more reason to arrive promptly. He shut off the DVD player, stood, and summoned his costume, allowing the folds of fabric to replace the civilian clothing, and pulling up his hood even as it was created.
Well, it was clearly an emergency if they were calling him in for this at this time- surely they knew how important movie nights were. Thus he would have to be prepared for quick action.
”Iwantwherethesignalisfrom, Iwantwherethesignalisfrom, Iwantwhe-“ Gabe felt a sharp tugging feeling as the chaos magic spun closely around him. He shut his eyes tightly for the space of time it took to arrive- having no idea where he would find himself- and slowly opened them to see the corner of a room as he arrived.
He froze, expecting some immediate attack, before he turned to see Rapidos, Captain Marvel and the Flash, his cloak spinning out in a move oddly reminiscent of the last musical number he had seen. He realised that this was probably the Titan Tower in an instant.
He caught just the very end of Walt’s speech, and noted the messy state Lydia was in. He pulled down his hood as this was clearly a casual meeting.
”Ta-da!” was sadly the only response Gabe could come up with for his magical appearance. He decided to just observe for a few seconds, given this was the first time he had encountered any of them, and he could at least see how they all acted before bumbling in.

Standing in an open field somewhere in the north of England Arthur was out of breath, wet and covered in dirt and made Arthur wish he wasn't wearing just trousers, a t-shirt and a hoodie. He didn't know what time it was, but he could see it was getting to the early morning for him. As well as the fact that it started and stopped raining about 2 times, but Arthur didn't care. Arthur was too concentrated with training. A nice open field was nice because practicing magic, at least for Arthur, would normally end up blowing up in his face. Quite Literally. Arthur was trying to go from creating illusions to go and make full on arcane constructs which wasn't going as well as Arthur hoped.
"Alright one more time." He took a deep breath. and started his incantation.
"I fought all I could but I'm far too weak, and I need a helping hand to beat this freak. I will beat him as soon as we will see, but to do this I need another me!."
As the words left his mouth a golden coloured form started to take shape in front of him Arthur could see it starting to take form. First just an outline of a body, then the details and as it was about to finish something went wrong. The shape exploded in a gold explosion that sent Arthur flying and landing in mud making his attire already messier. He stood up and took position again. He was about to start again when a noise started coming from his bag. One that he didn't hear much. He started walking towards his bag and started rummaging inside it to find what was making the noise. His hand grabbed on to the communicator. No full moon meant that it wasn't about Sebastian, but if they called him it would normally be an emergency. Seeing as he only asked them for help when it was an emergency and vice versa.
"They're calling me at this wretched hour, so take me to Titans Tower!" Arthur was immediately enveloped by a blinding light and soon appeared in the common room of the tower in a flash of white coloured smoke which reeked of brimstone. Of course it didn't help that as soon as he landed he was dripping on the floor. He saw one familiar face, and the one he preferred over Sebastian, one face he saw a picture of and recognised as Enrique, and the other two were strangers although Arthur could sense the younger one was of magical origins.
"Sorry about dripping on the floor, but at least I'm not the only one looking like a complete mess." he said reaching in his satchel and taking out a towel and started drying himself off.
"So what's going on?"

"-you see it's bull, you cheated!"
Came a voice from a firy portal in the middle of the room. There was a faint hint of brimstone, which coupled with Arthur's probably wasn't ideal. Walking through the portal, still getting dressed, was Sebastian. By his side was Admiral Fluffy Paws, looking up at him with bright red eyes. Sebastian was wearing the pants and boots to his costume and was just slipping the top on before throwing his sabre over his shoulder. The mask remained in his hand however. The tattoos most knew Sebastian or the artist Louis Ferr for faded into the runes people knew Brother Blood X for.
'I did not cheat. It's not my fault you suck at chess.'
"I don't suck at chess!"
'You were trying to use a Superman action figure at one point.'
"Well I couldn't find the other pawn anywhere so I figured Superman was ideal."
'Superman, a pawn?'
"Oh yeah, because Superman being manipulated into being evil is SOOOOO unbelievable. It's happened what, like 10 times or something."
'I don't believe it's happened that much.'
"Either way, you cheated."
'You were trying to play checkers for the first half!'
"Well I'm better at checkers."
'Everyone's good at checkers! It's not saying much.'
"Well at least I have thumbs!"
'Too far man, too far....'
It was then they realized they were in the middle of the Titans common room and had been for a couple minutes now, having their argument. Sebastian looked up at everyone smiling a fang filled smile.
"Umm, hi. So what's up? Bubbles, I gotta say, the hard at work artist look works on you. Remind me to give you a few tricks to getting paint out of your hair without damaging it."
He said before looking around at everyone else. He didn't really trust anyone else very much. He'd only heard of Gabe in passing though. The more he looked at everything the more it looked like the magic users were brought in to balance each other out should one go rogue. That way there'd be two more to try and take the other one out.
"Kuh-night, good to see you made it out of Georgia. I think the undead look would've worked on you. But I probably wouldn't take that much pleasure in releasing you."
He said before crossing his arms and standing near Lydia. She was the only one he liked and trusted in this group. Walt was close to Marty so that automatically made him a partial enemy and Enrique, well he was authority, so therefore not a fan.

Roxy had been debating even showing up to the summons. Sure she was a Titan, kind of. But she'd also never agreed to actually join the team. She just accepted the communicator, mainly because saying no hadn't worked. Plus Huntress and Question each agreed it was good for her to get around other heroes her own age. She'd learn much more that way then she ever would on her own. So after losing said debate she arrived. She had to wait for the elevator, meaning she wasn't the first one to arrive, which is fine. She leaned against the elevator wall, plucking the string of her bow as she did so. As the doors opened she realized she was one of the last to arrive. She quickly slipped out of the elevator and took her place against the wall. She didn't like being the center of attention. Plus she was still not even entirely certain she'd be a Titan for good. So instead she leaned against the wall, watching. She took in the entire scene, placing faces to names and what she knew about them. So far, not that impressive.
She gave a polite wave as she leaned there, fiddling with her bow. First there was Rapidos, team leader. He seemed like a nice guy, but restrained but still not bad. Then there was Captain Marvel, likely the only one she full trusted in this place. Of course given her ability to trust that wasn't saying much. She noticed the two magic users but was unfamiliar with their names. The young one was supposed to be uber-powerful from what she heard and the older one was supposed to be there to be like a cop for the other two magic users. She was vaguely familiar with Sebastian, having heard Lyida mention him a time or two. Plus she'd been informed to not trust him by Question. That was all she really needed to know to be wary of him.
She was curious as to why they'd all been summoned. He seemed relaxed so there likely wasn't some serious threat jeopardizing the world or the city. Was Enrique moving on? She'd heard whispers he was going to be recruited by the Justice League anyday now. Maybe he was going to name the new leader. Instantly she became concerned. The team had a history of being led by Robins and she was definitely not up to that level. She barely played well with others, let alone leading them.

A familiar chiming went off on Jor's communicator. It was explained to him that this was how the Titans would summon him if they needed him. He set down his viewer. Jor had constructed a small tablet to interface with the planetary communications network in an attempt to catch up on human culture. So far, he'd discovered a preoccupation with cats and naked people. Humans were a strange race.
Jor wandered out of his room and into the meeting area. Jor nodded to everyone. He looked at Lydia. "Why do your people worship cats? And who is this Doctor fellow everyone on your Internet keeps talking about. I would like to meet him. I desire to know how his box works."
There was a momentary glance as Jor made an assessment of everyone in the room. Then he looked outside. Well, rather through the wall and outside. "Green Lantern is approaching. His flight path is unsteady. There may be something hindering his abilities."

As bad ideas went, flying to a Titans meeting in his current state was probably a bad idea. He used the ring to purge the painkillers from his system so his head was clear enough to fly. Unfortunately, the broken arm was throbbing and making his ring much harder to use than usual.
After careful thought, this was probably better than the teleport option. Rearranging his atoms while unfocused would be bad idea. Up there with fighting a Hulk he guessed. Marty landed on the balcony and opened the door. His costume faded, leaving him in a t-shirt, jeans and his arm in a cast and sling.
"Well, maybe I'll just get a ride home. That might be better. Que pasa, fearless leader?" He nodded to the rest of the team. His eyes locked on Walt and the cookies and milk. "I hope one of those is mine. I'm starved."
Marty nodded at Sebastian and grinned at Lyds. He gave Roxy a wink. He was working very hard to show that his arm wasn't screaming at him. "You'll have to tell me what you were working on later."

Everyone was here, this was perfect. He listened calmly as they bantered back and forth. He was glad to see even Gabe and Roxy had come, he actually hadn't expected them to. Mainly because Gabe was extreme reserve and Roxy was pretty much probationary and not even sure she wanted to join. But this was perfect. They had every member of the team there, including the reserves. He ignored Marty's joke, upset that he hadn't asked anyone to be healed or anything. There was enough healers and tech that any injury could pretty much be healed. Especially with the three powerful magic users on the premises.
"You can eat later Lantern. I summoned you all here for a reason. I've been observing you for awhile now. I've noticed one simple problem, aside from certain personal relationships getting in the way..."
He said eyeing Lydia, Sebastian, Marty, Roxy and Jor in order. He knew about their crushes or whatever they were. He didn't like it. It had a tendency to distract from the rest of the team dynamic. All evidence could be seen from the first Robin and later Nightwing and his dating habits.
"...the one problem being a lack of team work. Instead of working together like one unit, you all do your own thing, together. Now I'm just as guilty of it as anyone else. No calling for back up, and when it is there I still do my own thing. We need to show the other teams that we're just as good as them, if not better. We need to show them they'd be lucky to have any of us on their team."
He took a pause, letting all of that sink in. He wanted to make sure they knew exactly what they were in for. He was going to whip them into shape, whether they liked it or not. Of course they'd need to repair Marty's arm first.

"Ha Ha, Walt, I can change almost as fast as you can run, so my attire is inconsequential. And it's my day off so pttthhhhhh." Lydia stuck her tongue out at Walt and walked over, taking a box of cookies and opening it, taking a few. She munched a bit as the rest of the people came in, smiling at Arthur and giving him a small finger wave. The brimstone made her crinkle her nose a little but she'd hung about with Sebastian enough to be used to it at least a little.
And then Seb came in arguing with Admiral Fluffy Paws and she just shook her head, continuing to munch on her cookies. She started eying the milk Walt had brought then stopped when Sebastian had mentioned something about paint in her hair. She stopped mid chew and touched her head in horror, feeling for paint. "I have paint in my hair?!" She rushed out of the room to go find a mirror real quick to double check. She was out of the room when Roxy and Jor came in, but she came back, wiping her face, offering Roxy a warm smile, glad she decided to at least check them out.
Then Marty came in. With his arm in a sling. She was still miffed over the little sonnet she'd found on her bed. She walked over and pulled the offending piece of paper out of her pocket and slapped it on his chest. "You know...it's not funny to do this kind of crap. Though I'm very surprised you can be so poetic about anything other than a plane." She said in a low voice. Then she took one of the cookies and threw it at him. "There's your one," she growled before walking back over to stand next to Walt and Sebastian.
She felt only mildly offended that Enrique implied personal relationships were getting in the way of anything. She didn't see anything wrong with being friends with your teammates, though they were all teenagers. Stuff was bound to happen. But he was right about the teamwork thing. Lydia was fairly sure they could all work together ok, but they'd never actually had to. They'd never trained together or knew each other's strengths and weaknesses. Heck she hadn't met Gabe until today. But she knew about them all. They all had files. And she at least liked to know who was on her team.
"Well, o fearless leader, I think we should train together, of course. But...this is the place where we learn to be heroes. So that when they do want to put us on the Avengers or the Justice League or wherever, we're confident in our abilities. We have a good team here, most of our bases covered. I mean we have me and Superboy for heavy hitting. We've got any mystical entities fully covered, with Gabe, Arthur and Sebastian, and Robin I'm sure can do good ground game. You and Walt are pretty vital in the distraction department. And Marty...can do crowd control. Pretty good team dynamic, I'd say. Just...need to work out some kinks." Lydia continued to munch on cookies matter-of-factly.

Lydia made some good points. Walt, of course, didn't hear a single one of them. He had broken out in cacophonous laughter once he saw her pull the sonnet he had written from her pocket. Watching Marty, his laughter redoubled at the look he saw on his face after Danvers shoved the note against him. He had no idea! God, this was perfect. Of course, he was probably blowing his little prank out of the water- not to mention making a scene, and validating his leader's concerns- but, hell, these moments didn't come around every day. Finally regaining control... he split into another round of loud, distracting laughter as people continued to stare quietly.
Maybe he and Marty would get around to sharing their findings at the Port with the rest of the Titans, and maybe not. At this point, both he and Danvers would probably be just as liable to kill him as to congratulate him. But Walt couldn't keep his smile in. As he finally calmed down, he sheepishly reached out to Marty, offering him one of the cookies with an uncontainable, foolish grin.

The newer arrivals continued to make Gabriel feel more and more over-dressed, what with the next being sopping wet, and the one after him only half-costumed. He considered stepping down his attire in response, but over-all he felt that wrong.
Gabe noted Robin avoiding the rapidly growing numbers of people, and seriously considered joining her in the “awkwardly standing and watching” (the first part of that practically being his job title) section of her wall. He took a few steps towards her, rolling his eyes slightly at Jor’s obvious lack of pop culture knowledge (seriously? The Doctor was the coolest shape-shifting regenerative alien he knew of, and he had plenty of experience in that field), but stopped entirely when he saw Marty’s arrival- and sling- from the corner of his eye.
He immediately wanted to help the older boy’s arm. Thus he actually had to approach Marty, keeping pretty quiet so to allow Enrique to speak, and then Lydia, who got to the end of her speech very briefly before Gabe got to Marty.
Gabe felt that the “not calling for back-up” line was probably directed at him given a recent Gotham incident, but did his best to show no sign of the reference. Besides, he hadn't even met any of the other members before so how he would have developed team-working with them was slightly beyond what he could understand.
Gabriel laughed straight away at Lydia’s analysis of the team. Anticipating that a few sets of eyes had just turned from Walt to himself, he forced himself to stop, although it was still pretty clear that he wanted to laugh.
”I presume it’s a break?” He had little concern over whether Marty wanted his assistance or not; all he knew was that broken arms hurt and that he hardly wanted anybody to deal with one if there was such an easy solution. Marty was doing a pretty effective job at pretending, but not enough to convince Gabe that his arm actually was okay.
He gave Marty a couple of seconds to back away if he wanted to avoid the spell- for a reason Gabe couldn't fathom but it was good etiquette- before he closed his eyes and put one hand over the older boy’s arm. He kept his voice low, not wanting this to be a distraction from anything that Enrique- or anyone else who knew the team members better than him for that matter- wanted said or doing. ”IwantMarty’sarm-boneshealed.”

He was already irritable from being wet but at seeing Sebastian again changed that into anger. Of course what Sebastian did, Arthur would do the same . Of course he was already undead and immortal so the only bad thing that would've happened to Sebastian was that he would be ripped apart.
"Well unlike you I couldn't just turn into smoke and disappear leaving me to deal with a horde of those twats." He said giving Sebastian the his death stare.
The person to enter after him didn't really intrigue Arthur all that much. Of course seeing how she looked she was some sort of robin, although she must have been some independent robin because he hadn't heard of Batman taking on a robin so she wasn't official, but if she was here meant she was skilled and that was good enough for Arthur. However the one that followed intrigued him even more. Of course it was always nice to hear an accent you're familiar with, but he seemed a bit... off. Of course asking the questions about the cats didn't seem odd even Arthur didn't know what the thing was with cats on the internet, but a brit not knowing who Doctor Who is? That seemed off, but it would be rude not to answer his question, even though the question wasn't directed to him.
"Hey mate, the cat thing I can't help you with because even I find it strange, but The Doctor they're talking about is Doctor Who and sadly him and his box are works of fiction, however I can lend you a box set of DVDs all about him if you want." He said with a smile.
After Enrique made his speech and Lydia said what she wanted to say. Arthur didn't really agree what Enrique said, he wasn't a full member and majority of the time Arthur has everything under control in London. "Look I don't want to come off as over confident or anything, but most of the none magic threats I face I can take care of myself and with the ones that are magical there is only one person who I know can help me is sparkles and I trust him about as far as I can throw him." He said while slowly strolling over to Walt taking one of the cookies and sat down on a seat close to where he teleported into the room.

Sebastian watched Lydia slap a piece of paper onto Marty's chest angrily. He didn't know what was happening but if it meant she was refusing a love note he supported it. He was about to say something when Arthur made comment about Georgia. He gave a light laugh as Admiral Fluffy paws slipped away to go poke around the Tower like he usually did. Although most likely he was seeking out Sebastian room where he had a large dog bed he'd made his own.
"Hey, you survived. Plus when it comes to artifacts it's every....entity for himself. I give you my word I never would've let you wander around Georgia as a zombie, that I promise. I just hope you would've granted me the same decency. Not sure I would've turned by science isn't exactly my thing."
He said with a shrug. He looked around at everything and then listened to Enrique. Enrique wasn't wrong, well when it came to Sebastian. Sebastian hated being on a team but also knew you didn't tell Batman no. So he did what had to be done and joined the Teen Titans. Would he join one of the major teams? Of course not. That was just not his style. He had no desire to be part of any team ever, but now was part of two thanks to an inability to say no.
"Your hair is fine Bubbles. Just a warning, I know it can easily happen."
He said with a smile. Although he did watch as Gabe impressively, and easily, healed Marty's arm. A part of him hoped the spell would backfire but got a feeling he wouldn't be that lucky, he rarely was.
"Hey, I work alright with Bubbles. And Arthur and I have worked together a handful of times and not murdered each other. So that has to count for something, right?"
