Roxy watched silently, simply observing everything. So far she wasn't too terribly impressed with this team. She'd heard stories about the Teen Titans and wasn't seeing a whole lot here to be impressed about. Just a bunch of teenagers who hated each other and seemed to argue most of the time. Well, arguing when they weren't trying to sleep with each other apparently. Of course she didn't see the appeal in any of them for that. But then again given her past that seemed to make sense.
"I'm not really officially on the team. Plus aside from She-Hulk I prefer to work alone."
Of course she also had a feeling that argument would prove pointless and have, not even close to the desired effect. But she couldn't really blame him. He was here to lead a team and she was kind of a member. That meant she fell under his jurisdiction, poor fool. But at the same time he'd end up learning the hard way that she wasn't the type to take orders so easily. It'd taken Question quite a awhile to get some semblance of control over her. She noticed Gabe moving towards her and gripped her bow tightly. With a quickly flick of the wrist she turned it into a staff and twirled it, pointing it at him. She didn't know him but didn't trust magic.
"So what is your plan boss? Sit around a campfire singing stupid songs or something? Because that'll likely just end in you all with arrows in you. Ask Lantern. I've been wanting to put an arrow in his chest for at least a month now."

There was a quick nod from Jor to Arthur. He had begun to understand fiction. Human and even some Kryptonian past times had employed it as a diversion from the ordinary. "I understand the concept of fiction. I would very much like to borrow these and watch them. It will help me in my endeavors to integrate with your society. Thank you for your offer." Jor liked the electromagnetic storage that the people of Earth employed. He could just look at a DVD/blu-ray or a hard drive and read the information right off of it. It was a rather efficient way for him to watch TV. He'd just scan a whole boxed set and take time to digest it after.
He looked around the room, scanning them all and observing quietly. There was talk about magic and strange things that Jor didn't quite fully comprehend, but it made him rather uneasy. For some reason, magic made the hair on his neck stand on end. It created a strange tingling he was not fond of. His scans of the information the Titans had said that it was because Kryptonian cells couldn't process the chaotic energies of magic and that was something Jor had patterned himself after.
When Enrique addressed the Titans and he heard the discourse from all of them, Jor made a note. It was a very good point. They were all better functioning as separate entities than as a team. They would have to work together. Jor spoke up, using his dispassionate analytic tone, as if discussing papers. "I have been analyzing all of your capabilities. I believe I could put together some scenarios where we would have to use those abilities together. They would help us work as a team in the field. But perhaps, some outside the field work is needed too... I believe they call these sorts of things 'team-building experiences'? Because from a psychological stand-point, you all need to interact better with one another."

Marty stared blankly at Enrique for a moment. "There's always time for cookies, Rapidash. Calm down." He knew he'd need to eat some food soon anyway to take his medication. He didn't want to get sick in front of anyone. And then Marty was a ball of confusion, with Lydia up in his face pressing a piece of paper and ranting about him being poetic about things. He was very puzzled and then she threw a cookie at him. Marty looked at the note. Some kind of love sonnet to Lydia. In his handwriting. And then a certain scarlet speedster started laughing. "I can be poetic about lots of things. Like how to vaporize a Flash in the most beautiful way possible."
Gabe set his hands on Marty's sore arm and started speaking. Marty's eyes widened as he knew what was about to happen. "No... You can't..." There was a flash and Marty's arm no longer felt like it wanted to fall off. "Hey, what happened to no magic without consent?" Marty slipped out of the sling and flexed the limb a bit. It was stiff, but not nearly the fire filled sensation of earlier. He looked around and then nodded to Gabe.
"Nice job. It feels pretty good. Thanks for not making it fall off." He looked around and listened to various conversations about working as a team and such. While the speedster had a point, there were days where Marty was sure that Enrique couldn't lead them even if he had a roadmap and a guide dog. He was more convinced that Lydia or himself should lead the Titans. He listened to Lydia and the Kryptonian's summation of the situation and then looked over at the rest of the team. His eyes locked with Robin. "Everyone wants to shoot me at some point. You can't really use me as a reference there."
"I can be a team player. Where do we start?"

Enrique simply listened to people whining and complaining. He was sick of it. These Titans were acting like children. They were fighting and bickering and playing stupid jokes on one another. Not only that but the jokes also caused issues within the team dynamics. But he would pull everyone together even if it killed them. Of course if he pushed too hard there's a decent chance it would actually kill them all. Well that or he might kill them, or just Walt. Walt was truly annoying. But then again most speedsters had a very specific sense of humor that could be both endearing and annoying. Or at least that was how his mom had described them, and she'd known quite a few speedsters. Plus his mom had always been a very good judge of character, even if others hadn't been.
"Thank you Jor but that won't be necessary. I have one training scenario in mind. It's meant to push everyone both mentally and physically. In the end we'll all need to come together to accomplish one goal. I want everyone who isn't suited up and outside the training room in 5 minutes. Now is not the time to dilly dally."
He said, looking each one in the eye in turn before disappearing in a blur, headed towards the training room. While running he'd suited up and grabbed the tablet out of the wall, typing on it quickly. A smile spread across his lips. Now was time. The time he'd been preparing for for over a year now. Not to mention the time the others had been preparing for for weeks. The last phrase was a code phrase, something odd but also not completely out of place in conversation.
When they all arrived he looked at everyone. He seemed to walk back and forth, just looking at them. They all seemed to be ready for whatever lay ahead of them, or so he hoped. He also knew they definitely would, their success counted on it.
"Here is the scenario. The room has been set up to resemble a building. We'll split up before meeting in the center room for the primary goal. We're going to split up into pairs, with the exception of one team of three. The teams are as follows. Lantern and Marvel, Robin and Superboy, Blood, Knight and Demurge, you three will work together on one while Flash and I take the last room. When you get inside communicators will be cut. You'll need to blindly rely on the other teams to hopefully do their job. When you get inside you'll need to work together to pass a series of obstacles and accomplish a goal before moving on. Your goal could be anything. An enemy, a group of enemies all the way down to hitting a simple switch. There's no way to tell, the computer has been programmed to randomize it."
The door opened and Rapidos cracked his knuckles before motioning towards Marvel and Lantern. Once they were inside the door slammed shut before opening on another empty room. He then motioned towards Robin and Superboy before the door slammed shut again. When it reopened he motioned for the three sorcerers. Then finally when the door opened the last time he stepped in and motioned for Walt, the door closing behind them. Rapidos tapped on the wall and sighed.
"Soundproof, interesting."
He then adjusted the Flash ring on his finger. Nothing too odd about it, a ring he'd been granted as a gift for becoming leader. Of course the ring had also been a gift from his superiors. It also contained a collapsible needle filled with nanites designed to temporarily block the cells from utilizing the speed force. The room meanwhile suddenly came to life. At the end of the room was a heavily locked door with two red switches on either side. It would likely require a switch pressed at the same time. Meanwhile along the walls numerous gun barrels emerged and the floor vanished, revealing a pit of tar.
"Interesting. We'd need to move at incredible speeds, even for us, to cross that. Meanwhile there's the guns on either side and I'm sure the ceiling isn't too fun either."
He held his hand out.
"I can temporarily impart the Speed Force on others, similar to my father. Meaning I can super charge the two of us long enough to easily avoid any traps."
He said, waiting for Flash to grab his ring clad hand. The room had actually been designed with the two of them in mind. It was meant to be nearly unbeatable. Not to mention it would force them to work together. Of course Enrique had other plans. Namely disabling Walt while the others disabled their own targets and then move on to the rest of the teams.

The door slamming behind them made Lydia jump a little. It was a very finite sound. But of course all things must end. Like her time here. She had been waiting for this moment. She was starting to get antsy living this life, she was actually starting to feel...emotions. She was actually starting to soften and she hated it. She'd just been doing it for so long, but as soon as she heard the words from Enrique she felt utter relief. The time had finally come to stop hiding. She looked over at Marty, reminding herself she was still supposed to be mad at him and crossed her arms. She almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
"So...apparently we need to work as a team, jerk." She looked around the rather large room. Large enough for flying. But it looked empty. And she hadn't really been given details on this little exercise or how to achieve her own mission. But obviously this was set up so she could achieve it. She floated up a few feet and looked around. "...mind telling me what happened to you arm?" She poked at the wall and noticed it grabbed at her finger. The harder she pulled the more it stuck, crawling up her finger like a grey amorphous blob. She took a deep breath, thinking it was like a Chinese finger trap and all she had to do was relax.
"Don't touch the walls..." She was almost free when a giant robot dropped from the ceiling. She tried to yank her arm away and the blob leaped onto her hand and started to suck her in closer. And then the robot started firing at them. So she fired back. And her shots did nothing. It absorbed them.
"So...that's how that feels...not really a fan." The robot focused on her and started to charge, firing as it got closer. In the moment, she started pulling on her arm more and more but that just exacerbated the problem and she was a sitting duck. She started to panic. This isn't what she had signed up for. This isn't time to panic, Lydia. This is about teamwork. So get him to work with you!
"Marty...Marty I need a shield...I'm stuck."

Walt magnanimously suppressed a smirk. He had always suspected that he himself was, to put a bow on it, The Fastest Man Alive. This, if anything, was an opportunity to demonstrate that to the leader of the Teen Titans.
He cracked his knuckles, smiled genuinely, and bent his back over his hands to crack his spine. "Two seconds."
He gained enough traction on the small platform on which the two of them were standing to run along the wall until he reached the first gun turret. Then leaping towards it, he swung twice around it, holding it with both hands like a gymnastics pole. Then, a millisecond before the turrets registered enough movement to begin firing, Walt released the barrel of the turret and shot across the trap floor to the platform on the opposite end of room where the door was stationed. Then, using the kinect energy from the leap along with the force of the impact of his landing, he generated a copy of himself, intangible, but with just enough mass to depress one of the buttons while he slapped the other. Having done so, his "clone" vanished, the turrets on the wall deactivated, and the ceiling and floor tiles slid shut, returning the room to normal.
Now Walt couldn't hide his glibness. He turned to his partner at the other end of the room, smiled widely, and threw his hands up. "WOOO! Hahaaa! I'm diggin' this, fearless leader! Now why don'tcha gallop on over here, Rapidash, and we'll see if this building's got anything worth breaking a sweat!" He was pushing it. He knew it. Rapidos hated his nickname ever since Walt had coined it, but that only made Walt cherish it more.
As Walt looked back, he noticed something about the other speedster that gave him a nanosecond of pause. The look on the Titan's leader's face was unsettling. Maybe he was just irritated by Walt's casual (if well-earned) arrogance, but Walt didn't like it.

Gabe followed the other two sorcerers into the room, just a step behind them. The room was almost completely blank apart from one door on the opposite time, and Gabriel had just enough time to register this before the door shut behind him with an ominous thud. There were no physical indications within the room of what they were meant to be doing, but that was fine- he already knew.
Within seconds of stepping into the room, he could feel a faint humming activate throughout the walls, and tensed up automatically without thinking as the magic-dampener started to work. He knew it was such, but even if he hadn’t, the blatant loss of some of his magical energy was plenty enough to tell him. Gabe knew it would stop while he and Arthur still had a reasonable chunk of their magic left; after all, the room was only really designed for one purpose.
There would probably be some sort of real danger appearing in a moment, but for now, all Gabe could detect was the whirring of machinery. That was not a good sign. When someone goes into an empty danger room, if there was one thing Gabe had learned about such places, something truly awful would happen, and the longer it was delayed, the more awful it would be. Not that there actually had to be any added danger- from what Gabe had seen earlier, Seb and Arthur in a room together was plenty enough to be worried about.
Gabe stepped around the other two and into the centre of the room, searching as carefully as he could for any physical signs of the room’s goal, pacing over just a few steps. Of course he knew there wouldn’t be. He turned back to the face the others.
”I’m thinking this room’s on some sort of timer. It hits zero, and then all hell’ll break loose.” The chaos was already set up to go; any timer’s long-term effect would really be insubstantial. All their magic was weakened, but Sebastien’s down to virtually none of his. With two magicians- even weakened ones- ready to fight here that was pretty much a guarantee that any necessary danger was already present and active.
He was facing away from the others when he stopped pacing entirely. He pulled out his boline knife carefully, ensuring the action was hidden. This and a container to catch the blood he’d soon spill were all that would be needed to control the demon. He kept the knife concealed as he turned on the spot, waiting for a cue to act.

Arthur only needed one thing right now. His sword and his Shield. How he waited for Enrique to say the codeword. He was lugging that godforsaken weaponry with him, but he didn't need that anymore, soon it would just be ripping things apart again. He could finally take out that smug asshole. If it was up to Arthur alone he would rip Sebastian to pieces himself, but apparently the Lords had an other idea for Sebastian and pissing them off is the very last thing you would want to do. But either way blood was going to be spilt in the room, and the blood wouldn't be his.
He was the first to enter the room drawing his sword from its sheath waiting for any dangers in side, but there was nothing. The way Enrique put it he thought there would be a demons gate or some kind of magical threat, but nothing. He knew what was going to happen in this room, but all work and no play and all that.
"Well... Was I the only one expecting something big bad and evil being in here?" He said walking further into the room looking from side to side looking to see if there was any way Sebastian could use for an advantage or escape, but nothing. This room was the perfect trap for him. Enrique did a good job making this room, of course Arthur would never say it to his face.
He listened to the other two give their ideas about the room. He took his sword and swung it aiming for the floor to test if the floor could be damaged, but nothing meaning even if Sebastian used his sword he was basically stuck here. Arthur rubbed his chin before he spoke.
" Yes, but the thing is what will happen when the timer goes. The floor seems intact and my sword seems to do squat against destroying the floor." He said inquisitively. He knew what was going to happen the moment the timer went and Arthur had to contain himself before he went into a blood filled slaughter. It was a waiting game now and could feel his magic slowly weaken. It was even starting to disrupt his illusion spell. It was only a slight disruption and and would only look like he would shortly become blurry before Arthur put in a bit more power to keep it alive.
Then like clockwork a low sounding buzz echoed across the room. Sebastian had no power. Arthur started laughing ominously. Arthur dropped the illusion spell and his true form was shown. He had yellow scales instead of his squish pink skin along with two wings protruding from his back, at the end of his hands he had razor sharp claws that looked like they belonged on a bear, great big red eyes, two small horns sprouting from his forehead and what teeth that belonged more on a shark then on him. Hell the only think that this Arthur shared with the other Arthur was the hair and height. At least he now knew what he would look like if he was fully human, and after seeing it Arthur enjoyed being like this much better.
Arthur spoke and even his voice was much deeper then what it was before. "I hope you two like what you see here boys because you two are going to see him up close and personnel. I'll really enjoy ripping a CENSOR and a whore to shreds. and I'll be starting with you my liege! he said as he started charging at superhuman speeds towards Sebastian, claws at ready.
This was going to be fun.

Sebastian didn't like this whole idea about team work and what not. Particularly with Arthur. Sure Gabe was alright, he'd never really dealt with him much before. But perhaps it was simply because Arthur was recruited to stop Seb went he went rogue. Seb had no plans to do so but still had some level of respect for Arthur. Mostly because he admitted to it and even had plans ready for when it did happen. Plus they had to work together in their Dark Commando gig. Sure they didn't exactly get along well there either, but they hadn't killed each other yet.
As they entered the room he felt his magic begin to weaken. Problem was he was a magical being so even his strength was slowly weakening. Annoying yes, but also made sense. He watched Arthur strike at the floor and duplicated the same thing with the wall, nothing. He and Arthur each had magically enchanted swords meaning this should've done the trick, but nope. He glanced around at the other two and noticed a door with no knob or even an easily accessible seam. Nothing.
"We likely need to pool our magic to open the door..."
He said before Arthur turned into a demon and he looked at Gabe, noticing he'd taken position behind him.
"...or you can turn into an evil demon that wants to kill us."
He said bringing his sword in front of him. He stayed, his back still to Gabe trying to protect him from Arthur. Sure Gabe was a super powerful sorcerer, but this room was designed to weaken magic. Seb's magic wouldn't work on Arthur anyways, not after having to get so close. But from what he'd gathered his combat skills were likely better than Gabe.
"Wow, language douche. Now I'm gonna look forward to killing you."
Of course he knew he might not want to kill him. This could all be part of the room. Designed to exploit their mistrust of each other and get them to try and kill each other. For all he knew Arthur saw him and Gabe as massive demons himself. As Arthur rushed at him Sebastian stayed his ground, ready to defend himself.
"I'll deflect his attack Gabe and you disarm him!"

So she was being paired with the Kryptonian, not too shabby. As soon as she heard the line from Enrique she calmly nodded her head. Finally some real action here. She'd been bored dealing with muggers and so forth, nothing even close to a challenge. Instead it was wanna be criminals who wanted nothing more than to make a quick score. Hell the most complicated weapon she'd faced was an AK. In her universe those were obsolete. They were pointless, primarily since everyone had armor to protect against them. Well that and no one dared to rise against them anyways. Sure she was low level in the team, but she was rising. Plus they trusted her to take out the Kryptonian, so that had to mean something. She knew if she succeeded she would get a nice promotion and a little more respect.
As the doors slammed behind them she drew her bow and looked around. The room looked like Escher's wet dream. Random staircases and doors that likely led in numerous loops.
"Well Superboy, it seems we need to work together. Odds are we need to use our own skills to find the right door. It's probably some weird series we need to go through together to figure out which door is the right one."
Of course Roxy already had the map in her head. She'd gotten it ahead of time from some unknown person, whom she now knew was Enrique. She was also armed with a lead covered kryptonite arrow. She'd only need the one shot and she could take him out. She just needed to buy her time. She also knew that no one would suspect Robin, she was such a weak fool. Hell replacing her had taken all of 5 minutes to over power and render unconscious.

It seemed like a simple enough task. Jor liked Roxy well enough. He had no problem working with her. She seemed to have a blatant disregard for authority, but then so did most of the humans he met. Jor smiled and followed her into the room. The room was filled with various staircases and doorways. Jor stood there for a moment trying to figure out how many extra dimensions it took to even create something like this. Then he made a mental note to work on something like this for his Fortress when the repairs were finished.
He scanned the room with his enhanced senses. X-ray vision and super-hearing didn't seem to find any solutions to the puzzle. "My senses can't detect anything here. What do you recommend for this particular venture, Robin? I am unsure of how my super speed would work in a room with such a landscape. Or if there is the presence of magic in this room, as I am unsure of its origin currently. I believe that you are better equipped to come up with the tactics in this case."
Jor's ears did detect a slight quickening in Roxy's heartbeat. He looked over at her and his senses detected the signs of... was it excitement? arousal? Jor had noticed that humans seemed to give off cues for these. "I have noticed that your heart rate has quickened slightly and your breathing is slightly faster. Are you excited? Aroused? I am trying to make a note of this sensation, so I will have an easier time detecting it in others."

They walked into the room together. Teamed up with Lydia. This was good. Marty was going to murder Walt. Slowly, if only so that his impatience got to him first. He looked around the room and then back at Lydia. "Yeah, apparently that's the mission." He wanted to add something else, but he chose not to. He wanted to at least make an attempt at teamwork. He scanned the room with his ring. "I fought one of those drug monsters. This one fancied itself as the Hulk. I got closer than I cared to while Walt was being skipped like a rock." The ring scan didn't register anything out of the ordinary. "You know, I probably should have realized you're not the sonnet type."
Marty looked over and saw Lydia had touched the wall and it was crawling up her hand. "Noted." He moved to help her, when he saw the robot drop from the ceiling. He fired a few cursory energy bolts and a couple of fist constructs. The blasts and constructs were absorbed into the robot's shell. "Huh. That is disconcerting. Never had that happen before." Then, Marty turned and looked at Lydia and realized that she was panicking and the wall was trying to eat her. He only needed a minute to come up with a plan.
A half second later, a half dome of emerald light formed in front of Lydia, blocking the shots. Marty moved over to her and examined the wall for a moment. "I have an idea." He grabbed her free hand and extended his life support aura around her. He willed it to fit the contours of her body and then willed it to be frictionless around the two of them. The theory being, that if the shield slipped between her arm and the substance on the wall, he could remove the friction allowing it to hold her in place. He had no idea if it would work, but he'd had crazier ideas.

Enrique groaned as Walt simply took off making it to the other side of the room. He knew he should've just killed him, that would've been much easier. But no, the higher ups wanted everyone alive for whatever possible plans they might've had. Enrique didn't know what said plans were, which bothered him. Sure they trusted him enough to lead a key aspect of the plan, but not enough to fully know WHY they were doing it. That was something he really didn't like. But he also knew questioning it would get him vaporized, at best. Of course questioning orders would likely mean they'd need to set an example for of him and he didn't like what people like Winter Soldier or Nitewing were capable of.
"We're supposed to work together Flash. No one gives a damn about watching you show off. Usted estúpido, arrogante, mudo, desperdicio de espacio."
He said now pretty much ranting in Spanish. He didn't care what was said or what was heard. He was just glad he could stop being the sweet and calm Rapidos soon. As the turrets disappeared in the wall a plate came over the spikes to cover them. Enrique had figured Walt would do something like this and had built in a contingency, same with every room. Each one had some fail safe should it take too long. Marty and Lydia's room would be plunged into yellow, Roxy and Jor's would be filled with red sunlight and the sorcerer's room would be filled with UV light.
"I knew you'd go and try to do something like this, I just knew it. Voy a tener que matarte. No importa, no hay pérdida real de todos modos."
He said with a laugh as the door opened. Instead of opening into another room like was likely expected instead a massive blast of cold air, similar to that from Captain Cold's gun was fired at Walt. At the same time Enrique rushed forward with super speed and aimed a shot at Walt's head.

Calming a bit as the shield formed between her and the next few blasts the robot had to throw at her, she stopped trying to pull her arm free. It would have just made the situation worse anyway. Lydia had to think of a way to complete her objective. And he always made it so easy to get so close to him. Like now, for instance, grabbing her hand, and giving her his life support. She couldn't keep a small smile off her face that he'd essentially let the horse into Troy. He trusted her that completely. Well that was the whole point of this, anyway.
With a yank and a loud, wet POP, Lydia's hand came free. And without all the tension to hold her there, she crashed back into him, still holding his hand, her other arm instinctively grabbing onto him to steady herself. She looked up at him for a moment, their faces rather close. Some part of her said, no, don't do it now, it would be all wrong. Don't fall into the cliche. But the sooner this was over with, the better. Ah hell. She thought before she kissed him. he'd be too surprised and confused to figure out her true intentions until it was too late. And then poison would kick in and he'd have no time to use his ring to burn it out.
She'd been waiting for this day, ever since the incident at the Avenger's mansion. When she went to go check on the paint in her hair, she had put on her rubber lips and poison lipstick. So quick, so simple. She knew today was the day. Why else call everyone together like this? She was sort of sad it was going to be over. She was starting to have fun.
She broke off the kiss just in time to shove Marty aside and catch the robot's fist as it swung down toward them. It drove her to the floor and her feet made a dent in it, but she held on, using the distraction to not give Marty enough time to think about anything. "Try and find a way to disable it!! Blasting its obviously not going to work!" It tried to yank it's arm back but she pulled. She was playing tug of war with a damn robot. She turned, her feet digging deeper into the ground and gave it the biggest judo flip of her life. The freaking robot was heavy!
"Damn...what's this thing made out of?"

Walt was furious.
He understood, even before the other speedster threatened him. He had grasped everything too late. The emergency meeting, the separation of the heroes, and Rapidos's change in behavior.
All of his friends were in danger.
He knew that Rapidos wasn't joking when he said that he meant to kill Walt. In the milliseconds between being assaulted by the cold wave emitting from the door and the other speedster's blow, Walt dove away, nimbly dodging and rolling to face him.
Marty. Marty was the first thing on his mind. He had to find Marty.
The next few thousandths of a second happened very quickly.
Walt darted at the wall, meaning to vibrate through, and found that he couldn't. Typical- as speedsters, his leader- ex-leader- would've prevented this.
So instead, he ran as fast as he could towards the opposite wall. This time, instead of the easy way, Walt vibrated his fist quickly enough to stimulate a greater density. Then, grimacing, he plowed it into the wall.
The wall exploded outward, Walt felt the blood on his hand. He was faced with Sebastian, Gabe, and a beast it took a delaying fraction of a second to recognize. He had no time to confront it.
He locked eyes with Sebastian first. There was no clear way to identify who was still on his side other than the certainty that Marty was. And that suggested that whoever he was partnered with... Danvers...

"This is happening. We have to go." And he ran towards him, grabbed him, and barreled towards the southern wall.
