Suicide Slums, usually the only non-criminal types who walked through there were heroes. While Chari didn't view herself as a criminal her body count and headline grabbing alter ego 'New Black Dahlia Killer' said otherwise. She was quickly climbing up the Most Wanted list. Of course her random clues on the body were enough to confuse the FBI profiliers, which she was having fun. One missing canine tooth, one finger held up. She was debating carving a symbol into the flesh but couldn't decide so far.
She was lost in thought and only partially aware of who was following her. Her assassin instincts meant she was always partially aware of her surroundings. However she also didn't deem any of them a threat. They however had no idea just who they were stalking. In their minds they saw a young, sweet and innocent looking woman dressed well who likely took a few wrong turns. She was wearing her usual boots, which were technically the only clothes she was actually wearing. Otherwise she was wearing a simple, yet expensive looking black dress with gold accents and some jewlery which was fake like her dress. With the exception of her silver necklace she got from her daughters for mother's day.
She was pulled from her thoughts when she was thrown into an alley. She looked at the two men, one holding a knife and the other clutching what was likely a gun in his waistband.
'Money and that jewelry. Now toots and you might just survive.'
"What if I feel like taking my chances?"
At this the other guy drew his gun. She sighed and shook her head.
"That's not loaded and your knife is so dull and rusty I doubt it could damage paper let alone skin and muscle."
The man with the knife shot out and stabbed her twice in the stomach. She looked down at her stomach with the other two and watched the wounds close quickly.
"Your form is terrible."
She said grabbing her bowie knife from her boot. She twirled it with all the calm and skill that came from wielding blades on a daily basis for years. She loved her knives, using it for anything. But it was times like this she loved to use it.
"See, now it's in the shoulder and ya gotta step into it, like so."
She lunged forward and buried her knife up to the hilt in his gut. The top could be seen poking out of his back.
"There, now you know. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to chase your friend down."
She whispered into his ear before biting it. She pulled the knife out and he crumpled in a dead heap. The man with the empty gun had dropped it and taken off running. He was in a dead sprint down the alley. However he was over weight and likely had a bad diet with little exercise. She caught him in no time and tackled him from behind. She rolled him over and straddled him, smirking. She drove the knife into his palm, pinning it to the asphalt. She then used her free hands to begin strangling him. She had an almost maniacal look in her eyes as she squeezed the life out of him, stopping just short though. He coughed and gasped as she pulled a small scalpel from her boot.
"Should I leave a present or just have some fun? I don't get much chance for fun."
She said slowly sliding the scalpel down his face. He groaned, unable to fully scream partially due to the partial consciousness and having been strangled may have damaged his throat. She then began to slowly cut around his nose.
"This will be so much fun. Do stay awake for it."

Aileen didn't usually come to Metropolis. It wasn't like she had any problem with the city, but she was a New Yorker by heart, and the Avengers usually didn't have any business there. Still, she sometimes went there, but it was usually for business. If somebody asked for her help or if she was particularly involved in something that led there. This time, however, it was for pleasure. A new spa had opened up, and Aileen had first pestered Ginnie, and then T'Shan, and then James to come with her. When they'd been busy or reluctant, however, she'd come on her own. She could still enjoy a spa day on her own. Of course, as always, she'd brought a collapsible bow and her costume with her. She had limited arrows, however. Maybe eight in her suitcase, if she was lucky.
She'd booked herself a stay in a nice swanky hotel, and, with the spa booked for the next day, she had the afternoon and evening to amuse herself. Well, there was a lot to do in Metropolis. There was a reason it was well-known for being a popular tourist destination. She could see a movie, or if she felt like being cultured, she could go to a play. There were nice restaurants and bars open all night. She definitely wouldn't be in for a boring night.
That would prove all too true as Aileen started to walk down the street. Practically in front of her, she saw a girl dragged into an alleyway. Her first thought was to jump into the alley straight after them and deal out some Avengers justice, but she'd be unarmed, unarmoured and she had no idea what she was up against. Not that that was usually a problem for her, but she knew that if she took the risk and got hurt, Ginnie would never let her hear the end of it. So instead she dropped her case and unzipped it. If she heard a scream, she was going in, no matter what. Until then, however, she pulled out her costume and collapsible bow, using a flick of the wrist to assemble it. She wasn't the best dressed for a fight, and she'd probably regret the lack of a sports bra, but she pulled her costume on over her clothes. It wasn't so much a question of anonymity as bulletproof clothing, so she left the mask off.
She'd only gotten six arrows from her suitcase, but she didn't let that stop her. She burst into the alley, but she didn't see anything like what she expected. She'd been expecting to see a mugging or possibly even worse, and to be there to sort the situation out, but instead she saw a man slump to the ground, and the girl she'd seen dragged into the alley throwing herself at the next one. Aileen froze for a few seconds, long enough to hear the girl speak and see her hand moving. That settled it.
"I don't like muggers either," She said, "But I really don't think this is the way to go about it." She was trying to keep her voice even, despite the corpse behind her, and an arrow was pointed at the girl's back, "And I really think you should stop."

She smiled as she watched the blood began to bead in the wake of her blade before it began to flow. She found this exceptionally satisfying, but someone in pain always did the trick for her. She seemed to only feel at ease when she was causing pain. She didn't even acknowledge the archer behind her, not seeing her as a threat.
"Yes, muggers really are a serious scourge to society. However if you think I am the type to then mention something about eliminating crime my way and the usual ramblings of a vigilante you'll find you're going to be disappointed. No, instead he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Admittedly based on outward appearances though I do look like an easy target."
She said as she began to mindlessly cut lines down his face. It was almost like a child coloring, just doing whatever they want with no regard for what was going on.
"So if you're going to do something I suggest doing it. He only has so much blood. Well assuming his heart doesn't give out first."
She said with a laugh as she knelt down on his one arm. He'd managed to grasp the belt of her dress. She knelt down with enough force for an audible snap to be heard.
"Whoops, guess I don't know my own strength."
She said with a laugh. There was now enough blood to be noticeable on the ground around his head. She cut a piece of flesh off in the shape of a heart and threw it over her shoulder at Aileen.
"There ya go Cupid, couldn't resist. But before you go on I know, Cupid was male. But there aren't a lot of female archers in mythology or pop culture. So it was Cupid, Legolas or Katniss. But Katniss didn't really fit. Now I know if I have to explain it then it's a terrible joke, simple rules. But well, distractions aren't always easy to come by. Besides, I don't think you have it in you to actually shoot me in the back."

Aileen sadly couldn't say that she'd never seen a person torture another with a knife before, but she couldn't think of many situations she'd been in that had been this creepy. The girl didn't even turn around to speak to Aileen, she just kept dragging her knife down the guy. Aileen didn't want to have to shoot her in the back. Sure, the girl was clearly crazy and evil, but Aileen wasn't the sort to put arrows in people when they weren't looking. Of course she wanted to talk this girl down, but she needed a plan B. "Well if you're not a vigilante, what's the point?" Aileen asked, but by this point the girl was cutting into the guy's face. That just wasn't the sort of things vigilantes did. Not even the extreme ones.
As she thought about what to say to try and talk this girl down, she warily and slowly pulled the arrow away from her bow, and towards the arrows tucked into her belt. Four of them were normal, one was blunt and one was a flash arrow. So she could either risk blinding the girl or risk breaking her neck. Brilliant. "Don't make me do something," She said to the girl, her tone genuine. She didn't want this to turn into a fight. She didn't doubt that she could win; she'd fought knife-wielding maniacs before. It was that she was worried she'd have to kill the girl. "It won't turn out well for you."
Aileen's arrow flew to her bowstring when she heard the arm snap, and she resolved to try one last time to resolve this without hurting somebody. For some reason the girl seemed to be almost daring Aileen to hurt her. She opened her mouth to say one last thing, but then something was thrown at her, and she twitched away in revulsion. It was a piece of human skin, crudely cut to be a heart. That settled it, no more talking. "You asked for it," Aileen said, and fired the flash arrow in front of the girl. As normal, she twisted her head to one side and squeezed her eyes shut, but she could see the magnesium flare even through her eyelids.

"What's the point? What's the point!? Who cares? It's simply fun. You should try it sometime. The way the blood slowly beads before flowing. Their strangled silent screams as pain removes their voice, or that might've been my strangling. Anyways though, the look in their eyes as the pain over takes them and darkness envelopes them. It's more pleasurable than anything I've ever felt...."
She said almost trailing off. Sure she liked all kinda of things and took pleasure from the usual things. But she was simple when it came to happiness. Pain and her girls were the only thing she truly cared for. Intelligence and making Julius' army more powerful was also a plus. But she was helping him create a world in which her girls would be gods. She didn't want much, maybe SOuth America for her and her girls to rule as they see fit.
"Are you threatening me hero? That is truly adorable. I want you to do something. I mean unless seeing this man die before your eyes is your thing, in which case I have such sights to show you...."
Ok so she might've been quoting Pinhead from Hellraiser. But she did love that line. Not to mention those were some of her favorite movies. She was always looking for new torture techniques. Suspending someone from chains by their flesh wasn't as easy as the movie made it look but the screams were delicious.
"Asked? I'm begging you."
She said before the arrow landed in front of her and flared up. Had she normal eyes that would've blinded her. However her eyes were just for show. Although her psychic sight was affected and it did disorient her for a short time. Eventually her healing would take care of any potential damage but she held the blade to the man's throat.
"Do you want more of his blood on your hands hero?"
She asked shaking her head, trying to get past the pain which was quickly fading.
"The man can still be saved, but that is dependent upon you. Lay down your weapons and surrender or he dies."

"So you're a psychopath," Aileen said evenly, trying to hide just how much this situation was creeping her out. Surprisingly, having a conversation with the back of a dangerous lunatic who refused to turn around as she cut up a guy's face wasn't her favourite thing to do on a relaxing weekend. "If you like, I can give you fifty bucks and you can buy something that'll give you more pleasure than that." She was just trying to keep the conversation within realms that didn't make her shudder, and what the girl had just said was definitely managing that.
"It's more of a warning than a threat," Aileen told her, trying to keep her voice low and controlled, "I'm telling you that if you don't leave that guy alone right now, you're going to regret it." She still wasn't sure she had the nerve to shoot somebody in the back unless she absolutely had to. Plus she thought she recognised whatever the girl had just said. From a movie, possibly?
Aileen kept her head turned away and her eyes squeezed shut as the flare went off, but her eyes still lit up from it. When it finally ended and she looked back to the girl, there was a faint imprint left on her retina, but hopefully nothing like the psychopath should be experiencing. With a bit of luck, she'd be flat on her back, or at the very least be covering her eyes and not in an immediate position to be cutting a guy. When she wasn't, Aileen, for the first time, felt more than creeped out, she felt legitimately scared. What the hell was up with this girl?
Her hand flew to her belt, and she drew another arrow, but then the scalpel was already at the guy's throat, and she froze. "Don't do it," she said urgently, but slowly. She didn't want to make this erupt anymore. "I don't want him dead, and you don't....well, you probably do want to kill him." That was what made this so dangerous. And then the girl made her threat, and Aileen made a decision. She lowered the bow from firing position, but she notched an arrow, just in case she had to fire quickly. She then put the bow down at her feet, and held her hands up by her shoulders. "Alright," She said, "Now take the guy to a hospital."

She wasn't exactly wrong about that whole psychopath thing. Chari admitted she was completely insane, a genius of unparalleled caliber, but still completely insane. But she was designed and raised to be a perfect killer, capable of inflicting serious pain.
"Ah, a sex joke, how quaint. I do not need any help in that area. Besides, this is an entirely different level of pain. I suggest you try it sometime. The look on their face as their life leaves their body it's better than any sex I've ever had. But then again, you said it yourself, I'm a psycho."
She said with a laugh. Of course then this hostage negotiation took a massive turn for the worse. There was an attempt at a flare arrow and now she was threatening the guy. Of course it worked and she heard the bow hit the ground. She then looked down at the dying man in front of her. She laughed and shook her head.
"Why take him to a hospital when I'm a doctor?"
She asked with a laugh. She then dragged the scalpel along his throat and leaned back laughing as his blood sprayed on her. She grabbed her Bowie knife and spun it in her hand before getting up and facing Aileen, blood dripping down her face and chest.
"Now where were we? Oh yeah, me surrendering or some such nonsense. Yeah, c'mon, we both knew that wasn't going to happen. Don't worry, I won't kill you, well right away."
She said before slowly walking towards her. She wanted to see if Aileen would shoot or not. Chari wasn't too concerned either way. If she got shot she could heal. If she didn't, then she'd capture Aileen and have all kinds of fun with her.

Aileen knew this situation was well out of her hands. It was unfair by principle. She had nothing to bargain with. She wasn't going to gamble the man's life and already one of her tricks had failed. Maybe a noise arrow or a smoke arrow could have worked, but the flash arrow hadn't taken down the girl like Aileen had been counting on. Didn't even seem to have rattled her. And now Aileen was unarmed, and the girl still held all the power. What was she expecting? For Aileen to waltz off and leave her with the guy? For Aileen to surrender and submit to whatever the girl had in mind? Neither of those were going to happen. Aileen had very deliberately dropped her bow at her own feet with an arrow notched. She was doing everything she could to save the guy's life and in good faith, yes, but that didn't mean she wouldn't stack the odds as much in her favour as possible.
And despite how bad the situation was, she wasn't going to take what this girl had to say laying down. "Well most guys won't sleep with crazy," Aileen told her, "So I'm guessing you need about all the help you can get." Well, this was only party trading banter. Aside from anything else, it helped Aileen feel a bit less unsettled and...she had to admit she was scared, about the situation. If she could win verbally, she could also win properly. Well, it helped to think that. The other reason was that it could divert the girl to attacking her instead, and leaving the guy alone. She could definitely defend herself a hell of a lot better than him.
And then any thoughts of insults or banter went out of Aileen's mind. It was like she could see the knife about to be slashed across the guy's throat, those few seconds stretching for years in her mind. The girl slit the guy's throat, and Aileen could only watch as his blood gushed out. She'd try to save him for nothing. The fear was still there, but now there was anger with it. Blazing, white-hot rage. If Aileen had been able to reach for her bow, she wouldn't have hesitated to feather the girl's arm or leg with an arrow. Hell, if pressed, she wouldn't have minded too strongly putting one between her eyes. But as the girl turned to her with a real knife and made her threat, Aileen froze briefly. It reminded her too much of that Evil James. Not killing her, taking her for whatever he wanted to get out of her.
And in that second of hesitation, Aileen lost any window she might have had to grab her bow. Now, if she ducked down to reach it, she'd be taking her eyes off the girl for even a second, and she couldn't risk that. So instead she stepped forwards, hooking her leg between the bow string and bow itself, and started to step backwards, dragging the bow with her. She wasn't sure what she was hoping for, but a second to re-arm would be nice. Failing that, she'd have to grab something else to use as a weapon.

She couldn't help but laugh at her comment about not being able to find partners. It was definitely far from the truth. She simply choose not to. She had her reasons of course, them being that there was only one man who interested her and by all accounts to him, she was dead. That was fine with her, for now. She was far from the girl he'd come to know and maybe love.
"Sweetie, look at this body. I could have any man I wanted. Jealousy doesn't suit you."
She said with a laugh. She could sense her hesitation as the blade slid across the man's throat. She didn't know if Aileen had thought Chari wouldn't do it or simply didn't think he'd bleed as much. Either way Chari didn't care and she was about to add Aileen to her list.
"Now it's just you and I hero. Now I want you to know, I won't kill you right away. No, I have plans for you. Look at that bone structure, you could be my finest creation yet. All that remains to figure out is, are you going to come along calmly or am I going to have to hurt you first? Personally, not against hurting you."
She said still continuing to slowly walk towards Aileen. She noticed her slowly pulling her strung bow with her and smiled. She stopped and looked down at it then over to her.
"Tell ya what, let's make this fair."
She said before turning around, facing the other way.
"Go ahead, pick it up. I do enjoy a good challenge."
She said before beginning to examine her nails. With a sigh she hook her head. Part of her wondered if AIleen would take the opportunity to run or even shoot her in the back. She'd rather Aileen tried to shoot her, it would prove more interesting.
"Don't you just hate trying to get dried blood out from under your nails? I mean no matter how hard you scrub it's always there. This is why I usually wear gloves. But you'll learn all about that soon enough."

Aileen really didn't feel like getting catty with this girl. Back when she was only an attempted murderer, Aileen could just about justify a bit of banter. But after seeing her cold-bloodedly slit that guy's throat, no, she wasn't going to mess about. The only reason she was even bothering to respond now was in the hopes that, if she could piss the girl off, she could make her do something stupid. The calm control the girl had over the situation was really something she didn't need. "Keep telling yourself that," She said, but her tone was far harder than before, no hint of anything but anger, "Your body might be good, but I doubt you get all guys you want." As insults went, it was weak, but she'd been shaken. Aileen's blood ran cold as the girl finished her threat. For a second, it wasn't some random, psychopathic girl she was facing. It was a deranged, perverted man with the face of her teammate James. The way she spoke, the way she phrased those threats...It was like coming face to face with him for the first time again. When he'd told her she'd just have to go with him and he wouldn't hurt her or her friends. It'd seemed like such an easy choice at the time....
"What do you want with me?" Aileen asked, and her tone was suddenly very scared. It wasn't just as a result of what she'd been told, but because that was how she'd sounded when she'd asked Evil James the exact same thing. Admiring her bone structure? Calling her the greatest? The situation was far too familiar for her. And she'd sworn she'd never let this happen again. Aileen took several rapid steps backwards, her bowstring almost tangling her feet as the girl, the killer, continued to walk towards her. If she had her bow, she had the advantage at range. Up close...well, she didn't think she could grab anything in the alley that'd stand up to a knife and a scalpel.
But then suddenly the girl turned, and Aileen had a clear view of her back. It was some kind of trick, it had to be. No way could she really be being given a free shot. Still, Aileen backed up a few more steps, and then kicked her bow up, grabbing it in the air. The arrow clattered to the ground, and she didn't dare bend to pick it up. Instead, she notched another one and backed up until she had the entrance to the alley almost perpendicular to her. She then went to fire her arrow through the girl's leg. No more playing nice.

"All the guys I want? Please. I am not like some people, you for example."
She said slowing and beginning to slowly pace back and forth. It wasn't so much like a lion in a cage or even restless. It was the pacing of someone truly enjoying their time, trying to drag every moment out.
"You see Hawkeye, yes I know who you are. The bow and costume kinda narrow it down. But anyways, see some like you need...no CRAVE the sexual attention. Now I see nothing wrong with a sexual appetite. On the contrary if it's safe it has numerous health benefits. However, then you get to a special area. A special section of people like you. You are so worried about letting someone see the real you, you hide with a shell of sexuality. You want to ensure no one sees the real you, only sees you as a sexual object. But we will have plenty of time to discuss this in depth."
She said with a smirk before twirling the knife. However as she was turned around and waiting for Aileen to do anything she couldn't help but laugh. Here she had the opportunity to put an arrow in the back of her head and end Chari's reign of terror but wouldn't. She knew Aileen didn't have it in her. Sure enough she was right as the arrow pierced her thigh. She looked down and saw the arrow head poking out of her thigh. She had let out a slight yell as the arrow pierced her, a surprise. She'd been too busy musing about whether or not Aileen would shoot to prepare. She spun around and smiled.
"So the little cherub has a warrior in there. Fun. Honestly I was hoping for a fight."
She said with a wink before taking hold of the arrow head.
"Impressive though. Maximum damage but you missed the femoral artery and everything. Trying to disable me and take me alive, admirable."
She pulled the arrow through her leg and examined the bloody thing. She began to twirl it in her fingers like a drummer might do with a drum stick. She ignored the blood flinging off of it before throwing it to the side. it clanged on the floor before rolling to a stop against a wall. The hole in her thigh quickly began to heal and she laughed lightly.
"I'm gonna hurt you first."
She said before taking off at a run, her knife flipping to an underhanded position. She jumped into the air, aiming to tackle Aileen and drive the blade into her shoulder.

Aileen shook her head and glared as the girl started to talk. She could handle jokes about her sexuality made by Ginnie or Dinah or....well, not James anymore, but by her friends. She could even deal with comments in magazines or tabloids. But when some girl who had just straight up murdered a guy in front of her tried to judge her? That was where she drew the line. "I don't know quite how the hell you think you know me," She said, all traces of mockery in her tone gone, replaced by anger, "So maybe I flirt a lot, and maybe I've stripped to my underwear once or twice for a photoshoot. Hell, maybe I go home with somebody after parties occasionally, but that doesn't mean you can psychoanalyse me. You don't know shit about me!" Aileen had a feeling the girl wasn't going to believe her. She did sound like she was on the defensive, after all, "I don't try and hide who I am. My costume's sensible because female superheroes shouldn't be sex objects!" After all, her costume was a bulletproof top and trousers.
It was stupid, but Aileen had been hoping that the arrow through the thigh would win the fight for her. She'd seen hardened criminals dropped with wounds to the leg, giving her just enough time to arrest them. But after she'd seen what had happened with the flash arrow, she supposed it was something of a futile hope. Still, she'd been hoping for more than a yelp which honestly sounded more surprised than pained. And yep, the girl spun back around to face her and pulled the arrow out without seeming to feel it. One thing was for sure: this fight was going to suck.
"Should I aim for the head next time?" She spat, and pulled another arrow out, quick as she could. She didn't see the hole in her enemy's thigh healing, she was too focussed on the move to tackle her. Aileen had been taught from as young as ten that the most important factor in a fight was controlling the other person's weapon, so Aileen let herself be tackled and grabbed hold of the girl's wrist, catching it before she could stab her through the shoulder. "Not happening," She said through gritted teeth, and kicked out with a foot

"How do I know you?"
She asked with a laugh. It was an obvious and expected reaction to her statements. People often lashed out when confronted with the truth. Sure Aileen was trying to avoid the topic and hiding behind insults. This told her that she was on the right track. Luckily for her, and unluckily for Aileen they've got the time to finish her psycho-analysis.
"Oh Hawkeye you're so obvious and predictable. Don't worry, I'll help ensure you find closure with all of your issues. It may take time but we will peel away the layers."
Of course that also had two meanings, which was even more concerning in the long run. Well, should be concerning for Aileen, not so much for Chari. She was actually quite good at skinning. One of the many disturbing skills she had. Although she was actually impressed with Aileen's counter. She tried over powering her but was suddenly flipped over, her knife skidding a few feet on the street. She managed to roll with the kick though and popped up on the other side of Aileen.
"Arrow to the head? Now that's not very heroic now is it? But I like it."
She said with a laugh. She reached onto her belt and pulled it off, unraveling a whip which she cracked in the air beside her.
"Now you wouldn't want to hurt me..."
She said before shifting into Ginnie, suit and all.
'Would you?'
She then shifted into James in full Captain America suit and shield.
'What about now?'
Then she shifted into T'Shan.
'Or maybe something like this.'
Then she began to laugh as T'Shan before shifting back to herself.

Aileen couldn't see the point in this girl trying to get to her with words. She already had the upper hand in pretty much every aspect of this fight, did she really need to talk Aileen down as well? What was the point? Unless she'd been more hurt than it seemed. Maybe the arrow through the thigh had done some damage, and the girl was trying to cover it up. "You didn't answer the question," Aileen snapped, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of anger and embarrassment at the situation. Her enemy was just trying to get at her, she knew that, but that didn't mean it didn't piss her off to be told she was a slut. "How the hell do you think you know me? And you're not my shrink."
It wasn't a good idea to get angry here, and it definitely wasn't a good idea to get defensive over this, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to.
As the girl went rolling away, Aileen tried to scramble to her feet as fast as she could. She'd kept hold of her bow in the small scuffle, but she arrow she'd had notched had broken, and she was forced to waste precious seconds notching another one, and by that point the girl already had a whip in her hand. A goddamn whip. Knives and guns and even swords, Aileen had experience with. Whips? Well, she'd didn't have experience fighting against one by any means.
Aileen was prepared to snort and fire as the girl claimed Aileen wouldn't hurt her, but then the voice in which the next bit of the sentence was spoken chilled her to the bone. She instinctively lowered her arrow, and there was Ginnie Stark, her best friend, standing in front of her in full armour. It was a trick, it had to be, but that didn't mean Aileen was about to fire an arrow at her. She couldn't bring herself to. "I..." She began, but she couldn't find the words after that. Her voice sounded small and scared. She couldn't show how much shifting into her friends would get to her, and the next bit her hands lowered was done deliberately in case they started shaking. Who would the girl turn into next? T'Shan? Dinah?
It was worse. In front of Aileen's very eyes, Ginnie....the girl turned into James, and Aileen flinched. She actually flinched away from him, her bow raising just slightly. Her poor, clueless friend James who she was avoiding and it wasn't even his fault. The whole situation had been giving Aileen deja vu the whole time, but now, in an alleyway, with some sinister figure who looked like James and sounded like James and might as well be James but wasn't James threatening her, it was too similar. She felt sick. Terror was building in her throat, and she almost whimpered.
Aileen was actually thankful when the girl changed back into T'Shan. She tried to raise the bow again, but her arms refused to move, refused to let her point her weapon at the guy who'd been her friend. Even if the T'Shan she'd gotten close with hadn't been the real one, she'd still liked him before everything had been fucked up, and she still cared about him. She couldn't make the shot. And then, mercifully, the girl was back to her normal self. By this point, Aileen's blood was pounding and her eyes had welled with tears, but now she had options. "I'd shoot that," She commented, her voice still weak, and launched an arrow at the hand that was carrying the whip.

"How do I know you? You're so basic it's obvious to everyone. Besides you're a rather public personality. Not as public as your 'friend' Stark but that's a different ball of crazy all together. Besides, the fact you reacted with anger and not even denying it proves, at a certain level, I'm right."
She said with a smirk. She watched her carefully as she shifted, trying to see what could mess with her the most. Ginnie and T'Shan maybe but obviously Captain was doing the trick. SHe did well trying to hide it but it was there. She was about to shift back when she felt an arrow pierce her hand, causing her to drop the whip. With a sigh she raised her hand and examined the arrow that was half way through her hand now. She looked from her hand to Aileen.
"Ow. See, that right there. That's no way to deal with someone speaking the truth."
SHe grabbed the arrow by the tip and pulled it through her hand. She examined the blood dripping from the feathers and shook her head as the hole in her hand closed up. With a sigh she bent down and picked up her whip. She adjusted her grip before looking back at Aileen.
"Most annoying part, waiting for the nerves to reform and reawaken. Of course I suspect you weren't aware of that. Mainly because you don't heal so easily, do you?"
She asked cracking the whip. She spun it over her head before snapping it towards Aileen's face. It wouldn't hit, it was just meant to scare her.
"Oh the things I'll do to you."
She said before shifting into James.
'We're going to have so much fun.'
She said before examining the shield on her arm. The whip was still in her hand however and she was still wearing her boots.
'I've often wondered if you and he ever slept together. Can't blame ya. I mean look at this physique. I've always been more into black but I suppose red white and blue can do in a pinch.'
